They tell you to pay a certain amount to pay it off in 90 days, you pay it but then they tell you that you didnt pay enough to pay it off. Thats the only reason I agreed to do the 90 days. When you call them and complain they will tell you sorry you signed a contract. Also you can never I mean never get a hold of anyone but if you miss a payment they call you right away and you owe another 20 dollars. Bought my furniture at Value City Furniture in Tri County area.

I would advise anyone that is considering using this company, not to do so. The manner they conduct business is very unprofessional and it simply doesnt make any sense. They down right rip people off. My husband and I used them as a last resort, and we regret it. Very poor company.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. If I could give zero stars I would. Predatory lending. Sketchy reps who play dumb about the details of your contract until pressed for more information. Taking advantage of uninformed or inexperienced buyers, and preying on those with poor or no credit. PLEASE REVIEW ALL ASPECTS OF YOUR CONTRACT BEFORE YOU SIGN. Bring someone with you to help review the contract if needed, do NOT let them cross talk you into signing something that is different than the verbal quote. IF you choose to do business with this disgusting company, please keep your guard up, be critical, and ask questions. Do not trust what the rep quotes as your monthly payment or payoff date & amount.

We are on our second payment plan through the Acceptance now location located on Dixie highway in Hamilton Ohio. We paid our first set of furniture off with no problems. We started a second set of furniture that we had to cancel due to our extended family moving into our home and not having space for the extra furniture.We called the store on 3/22 requesting a pick up of the furniture. At first we were told it would be picked up when Jay’s delivered our repaired couch on 4/7. We called multiple times to confirm.Then the plan changed from having Jays pick up our furniture to having Rent a center pick up our furniture with no date of when it would be picked up. We requested to at least have the furniture disassembled when the couch was delivered so we could store it away until it would be picked up. We would disassemble the furniture ourself but we do not want to be liable if any damages are caused. The couch was delivered and the future was not disassembled so we called the store and asked for an updated ETA when it would be picked up as we do not have room to store it.We were told a meeting would be taking place on the 10th then a date would most likely be given within a week later. We have combined homes and have no room to store the furniture as it includes a kitchen table, a large tv stand, a coffee table, a kids bed, and another bed frame.I have worked in customer service for nearly a decade and know I would no longer be employed with my company if I presented the customer service I have experienced. The lady we have been working with was completely unwilling to assist with getting the furniture picked up in a timely fashion. She kept saying she was unable to do anything, she would not call anyone higher up in the company, and she would not give us the number of anyone higher either. When the furniture is officially picked up I am washing my hands with acceptance now and will never purchase furniture through you again. I will also tell everyone I come in contact with the same. Please know this is not a complaint towards Jays furniture they have been nothing but helpful through the entire process. They have bent over backwards to accommodate the shortcomings of the affiliations they are partnered with.

The one in Tri-county is a nightmare. They lie and rip you off. Got furniture asked if i could move my due date to 15 th of month, they said yes but you at last half to make half the payment now which I gladly did. They are calling me 2 weeks later saying my payment is late and that I am due again because it’s the 15th but they want a whole payment . I already paid half of it. They will call you before it’s even due and harass you. Do not do business with this company.

Do not deal with this company they lied to me from the beginning they are a bunch of rip offs avoid them l cant stress that enough even the customer service is terrible will never ever go back and more than likely will not shop in value city furniture again no matter how many times I talk to them about my balance I get a different story each time and no matter how much I pay it seems like my balance continues to go up every month it is something different

If I could rate a “0” I would. They tried to choke hold elderly on the phone saying she didn’t make a whole payment the last couple months but in fact she did as bank statements prove it. They will stoop to any level to rip people off.
