Great service fast and easy for the past two times I’ve come to this location one of the guys look miserable but still provide exceptional service. 10/10 would recommend.
I wouldnt recommend this place. They didnt even have a tape gun in stock. I tried to buy boxes and the cashier didnt have access to the register. I spent 45 minutes here trying to give them money. This place is a complete waste of time and every employee is grossly incompetent.
Booked an online reservation to install a trailer hitch on 8/9. Its 8/30 and I still have no hitch. I went in for my scheduled appointment and was told the hitch wasnt in stock. The manager said hed call me when he got it in. Never got a call. Called back twice and they said any day now! or I have a bunch in the back I have to go through. Maybe its in there! But still nothing. I wouldnt recommend having your hitch installed here.
If I could leave 0 or negative stars I would have. Multiple times this location has not had the reservation we have made and in turn, put the responsibility on us to be the ones to drive around until we could get what we asked for. They also do not answer their phones and they overcharge compared to other U-Haul locations in the area. Strongly recommend finding a different location for your moving/storage needs, no matter how inconvenient or out of the way it may be. I promise the inconvenience of dealing with this U-Haul location will far outweigh that of having to make a further drive.
Slow service and refused to rent a tow dolly I reserved because he wanted to keep his nice one and I was headed one way. Dedrick, the store manager, lied about the drop off process. Gave me bad information which led to an overcharge.
They alright. I was sent to this location cause the location in Fayetteville didnt say they did not have what I wanted. I get here and have to get something bigger then what I wanted and no discount for anything of it. But everything else and the service was great just mad I got charge a arm and a leg over something your website could have save me time and money from...... Bring back Freddie.
I recently purchased some furniture blankets from this location. The blankets were loaded into a display with a very prominent sign saying the cost was $7.95. They only had a few and I was in hurry so I grabbed them and another blanket that was hanging up nearby.When I looked at the bill it seemed high but I was in hurry to get somewhere else so I didnt look closely.When I stopped I looked, they charged $14.95 for each blanket. I called them and pointed this out. The man apologized that they had new people and they must have placed them in the wrong location. No offer of a refund or any other make good for their mistake.When I pointed this out and said I just wont buy anything from them again, he again apologized but that was it. When I indicated that I should talk with U-Haul management, he indicated that they werent his boss. I understood that and said that I would think that they would care about how people representing U-Haul act. He said in his experience they dont and said have a nice day.Maybe not a hug deal but he had a chance to make things ok and Ive done a ton of business with other U-Haul locations.I ended up going to Walmart and getting the blankets for less than half the price and I returned the others. They had a chance to make a good impression and didnt care enough to do so.Not typical for U-Haul in my experience. Ill take my business to other locations instead.
Ive unfortunately had to do business with this U-box twice now.Every single time Ive tried to call them, the phone rings for minimum a HALF HOUR. Ive gone into the store front and not seen a single employee for about the same time frame as well. When you do finally get to speak to someone they are INCREDIBLY rude. The first time I went there, not a single employee was following COVID-19 protocol, this was October 2020. I was quoted a time frame of a couple hours to have a hitch installed on my car, so I took it in before work and just decided to wait there the day of. On said day, the manager yelled at me that he had from 10:am-6:45pm to keep my vehicle. I said absolutely not, it was supposed to be done an hour ago I need to leave now. Turns out the car was actually finished.In the process, somehow they messed up some wiring and my tail lights would randomly go out.Highly do NOT reccomend this place.
Purchased and had a trailer hitch installed by this location. Recently took my SUV in to have the oil changed and the technician asked if I had something recently installed that hooks up to the battery and I told him the trailer hitch and towing package. He told me that the installation of the towing wiring harness is the worst he’s ever seen and needs to be redone. It was just stuffed up under the carriage of the SUV and being held up by the skid plate underbelly. It is also resting on the exhaust so the wires are burning as well.

If your a one person who’s trying to make the move they make it super hard on you by not letting you park your car or anything at the property how are you suppose to get the truck or trailer whiteout parking there and picking it up when you get back they have plenty of space but I went down the street to another one and they were super welcoming and didn’t mind me parking and I had so many bad experiences in the past but the last management that was there was doing great Job until this new one came and toke away all the good custmer service away
I don’t do reviews-but lady at desk was the as rude as people come as well as lazy. I first listen to her being rude on the phone with potential customers. Then I had to deal with her. She didn’t even know what product I showed her that I got off the display board...a hitch receiver extension. I asked her if she could find out the length or if we could measure with a tape measure. She pretty much yells-“ I don’t know and I sure don’t have a tape measure!”I then told her I didn’t want it because she couldn’t or actually wouldn’t figure out what length it was. So I said no thanks-as I’m walking away she YELLS at me “where does this go-you don’t worry I’ll take it back!”😳She sure didn’t want to get up off her stool.
Information on Google is incorrect. Shows two different closing hours. had to call the store 11 times before I could get somebody to answer the phone. What a waste of a company.
I had a trailer hitch put on my 2016 Jeep Laredo. We had a couple issues with shipping due to COVID and stock. But that was not an issue for me, they called me several times to update me and made sure I was informed. Very professional staff who got me immediately in upon getting the hitch, literally had me done in an hour n half and had me called to come get it. Icing on the cake was they had quoted a price to me almost a $100 more than the final charges. They did not have to do that, I would not have known, but I got honest and great service.Thanks U-Haul, I’ll be back!Paul
My experience just now was not good. I called this location to ask first questions so I could decide which type of rental I wanted, and then to make a reservation for tomorrow. Not only was I on hold for many minutes, when a staff person finally did answer, he was “railroading” me through the conversation -- interrupting me before I could even finish a question, said he had me pulled up (from my phone number I guess; I’m already in their system), and he’d text me a quote. But I had not even decided what type of rental I needed to make! When I asserted that he needed to stop interrupting me so I could finish asking a question, he said I kept talking over him, I then yelled at him that he was doing the same thing to me! He then said he “couldn’t hear me” and then the call ended – I have to assume he hung up. Don’t waste your time with this location. They apparently have no time to have a conversation with the customer so the customer can decide what they want to do. Penske truck rentals are wonderful. I’ll either go back to them or try a different U-Haul location. U-Haul corporate needs to do something about this location.
Im not even sure where to begin.I was moving to DC so I needed a hitch installed and reserve a trailer. I did that about 3 weeks before the move. It took talking to about 4 people to finally get that set up, and even when it was reserved, I didnt feel confident that everything went through given how unorganized it was.At 7:30 am the day when I was supposed to go get the hitch installed, of course something happened with the install guy and was told they were not able to do it that day, and called wanting to reschedule 2 days later. Because of my timeline, I had to get it done that day. Luckily I was able to find the location in Ft. Smith to do the install later that day. Great. When I drove an hour down there, of course they had no idea I was coming despite of the confirmation the Springdale location had given me. After waiting outside in the heat for 3 hours, I drove back to Springdale to finally get the trailer that I had reserved.When I got the trailer finally hooked up, the trailer lights werent working. After close to 2 hours investigating it, adjusting the fuse and me running to the AutoZone up the street to get new fuse (because the guy helping me told me that it was a fault of my car), I made the suggestion to switch out the trailer to completely make sure that it was something wrong with my car. Once we changed the trailer, everything worked fine. So at this point, Ive driven 2 hours and waited 3 hours in Ft. Smith and spent money on new fuse. Im close to 6 hours behind schedule.Im driving back to my house with the trailer finally, and of course something else goes wrong. MY TRAILER COMES COMPLETELY OFF MY CAR, AND RAMS INTO THE BACK OF MY CAR!!! The guy had not latched it on correctly and hadnt even hooked the chains up.After I called to complain, they initially offered me a whole $50 to make up for everything. Eventually I settled for the rental cost being waived. I still have to deal with the damages to my car but I was so tired of dealing with U haul at this point.I had to pay for a day of extension since I got home at 8pm and was too late to pack anything that day.THIS PLACE IS QUITE LITERALLY THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL PLACE IVE EVER DEALT WITH. The manager Freddy and everyone else is completely incompetent.If you dont want to go through something like this, look elsewhere if at all possible. Not one person I dealt with at U haul was competent. Avoid at all cost.

The woman on the phone was absolutely incompetent. She could not answer my simple question about availability of a car dolly without adding a ton of personal irrelevant information. I finally got frustrated and hung up. I will never deal with this uhaul store ever and I strongly recommend no one ever mess with this loony bin.

My sister passed away and we had to quickly clear out her apartment. The Manager was very compassionate and found the perfect climate controlled unit for us. Every time we had to move things back and forth, someone was there with a smile on their face. I HIGHLY recommend this place for storage!!!
This Uhaul is the biggest piece of dirt. They have screwed me over and over. Avoid them at all cost.
Poor communicationOut right liesAfter much back and forth talking about prices and size of unit and letting them know it’s about one room full of stuff in a trailer being pull by a car.... i decided on a 10 by 10 storace unit. The guy put me at a different place on 40th street in Springdale Ar (no complaints about location) but he told me that i was getting a 9 by 6 for $44 a month.But when I arrived at the storage unit after a ten hour drive the unit wasn’t a 10 by 10 nor was it a 9 by 6 but it was an 8 by 4 in size.Not even half of the stuff fit and at midnight we had to shuffle item around, load & reload items and find alternative storage space!When i called to complain and find out how they can mistake a 8 by 4 unit for a 9 by 6 i was told that a 9 by 6 cost more money!!!I was lied to about what size i was actually give. And it cost use time & energy to find other storage space at midnight! Pisses me off! I asked for a 10 by 10 and was given an 8 by 4.
Numerous, numerous issues with making payments and being charged late fees that are not applicable. Hard to get in touch with anyone. You are directed to a call center. Very, very unprofessional and it doesnt get better. You have numerous options available to store your items elsewhere in Northwest Arkansas. DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE.
I had a hitch added to my car in March. I should have washed my undercarriage but didn’t think about it and would have gladly come back and taken to car wash if called. The only thing done right was the hitch was bolted down. I discovered the next day a crack in my driver’s side rail light. I took it back to show them. The manager Freddie did not believe anyone there had done that. His mechanic overheard and said it might have happened when she slipped in the dirt while putting on the taillight. When she removed it one of the retaining clips was also broken. I asked Freddie to replace my taillight cover and he said he would. I called back on two other occasions and he indicated that he would take care of it. It is now July and he has not taken care of it. The saga continues...two days later, we were driving to Bentonville when the turn signal was used the fuse in the car blew. We pulled over and if I hadn’t known about getting the car into reverse it would have been a longer day. I drove my car straight to the Subaru dealership and the wiring for the trailer lights was the culprit. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!!
Freddie(the manager) is great! He’ll definitely work with you if you explain the situation to him! All their staff are very helpful, and very nice! I’d give this place 10 stars if I could!
The staff was short and unfriendly when I picked up the vehicle in the morning. They also seemed to be very ill prepared for handling new policies they had or were in the process of implementing. I forgot my drivers license when I first showed up and asked them if I could just give them a picture but they said no (I had just taken a picture the day before for a loan application so I already had it on my phone). I drove home and back (35 minutes) and when I arrived back, proceeded to check out the truck. The first thing they asked me to do was take a picture of my drivers license and upload it to them via text. I thought they were messing with me. When I asked what the heck, I just was told a picture wouldnt do now I am required to take a picture, I was told that the only pictures they could accept were pictures taken in their store. I needed some boxes so I asked if I could get some free or otherwise they could compensate me for the waste of 35 minutes of my time and I was told no, that they arent able to do anything like that. The manager then said in the future, I could just use mobile check-in which I just upload a picture of my drivers license to...why he didnt recommend that earlier before I had to drive home and back is beyond me. They were just totally unhelpful and unfriendly.Then, when I returned the truck, I had driven 96 miles and filled up the fuel with 12.5 gallons of gas per their fuel guide (it was at 3/8 of a tank) to between 1/2 & 5/8 of a tank as it was when I picked it up. When I dropped off the vehicle, Sherri took my keys and asked me some questions including if I had fueled up which I told her I had. She said all set & theyd email me a receipt. Just go the receipt which had a $26.50 charge for fuel saying they had to put 7.5 gallons in it. We drove 96 miles and between my 12.5 & their 7.5 thats 20 gallons...I sure hope they expect their vehicles to get more than 4.8 miles per gallon.
Storage review (not a truck rental). DO NOT STORE HERE! Many other options!!The staff doesnt care about anything and they are slow and basically laugh at any issue you have. The key card (that you need to swipe twice to get into the building for some reason) NEVER worked and I often couldnt get in (after office closed) or had to go into the office and deal with staff that wanted to chill with their friends rather then service the customer.When I closed my account, they didnt say a word, she printed a receipt sheet and handed it to me and immediately turned her back on me (RUDE!!).They often missed payments because they set up the ACH wrong and they would try charging me a late fee for their issue. I would never go back or recommend them.The units are upstairs and no elevator and they often dont have carts upstairs. I could go on and on!They put a lock on my unit because I used my own lock and apparently you have to buy one of their special locks; so they get you on that too for more money, everything is more money.Want 24hr access? Youll pay EVEN more!! With no people there at night but you have to pay $10 a month more to access at night!?!?! WHAT!!Mind you, NONE of the above was told to me when I opened the account. BTW: the manager is no better, he just sits there (when he is there) and doesnt talk to customers.
I’m a veteran and I started checking with different moving companies 32 years ago. I tried three different ones and I always would come back to U-Haul. Now, I don’t even check anywhere else. Now, that I’m back home, I love coming to this particular U-Haul facility. I come here often. They are ALWAYS helpful and friendly! I like this particular store because they have vast supplies (especially hitches!) and they are SOOO helpful and accommodating. Robert really gets after it, is friendly, helpful, and really knows his stuff. Their supplies are also top-notch. They have always had what I needed. It’s amazing.

Unfortunate that this U-Haul has turned into what it is... the horrible customer service, overcharging and not refunding as promised, equipment in poor condition... Avoid going here. Youre better off spending your money on a reliable, trustworthy company.U-Haul has a guarantee - $50 - for the truck you ordered or better. Ordered a 17, got a call shortly after saying they had a 20. Went to pick it up and its a banged up dually with a cracked windshield and the back door slams open and get stuck. Thats all they have so we take it and the put $100 hold on our card. The day before we return it they charge us $345 more for a 20 truck and 3 extra days. That $100 gets credited back 5 days later and even though I called twice to make sure the charges would be for a 17, they charged us twice as much. I was told the adjustment would be made when I returned the truck. NOT TRUE!16 days later we have made more than a dozen phone calls, spoken to the GM, the regional manager and several other employees... still not corrected. Our total bill should have been about $180 and we were out $445 for a week, and still overcharged $165. AND when I spoke to the GM a week ago, who hasnt been available since, he processed the refund for $11. I called to have him correct it and he said it was a mathematical error and hed fix it. That was 6 days ago.Terrible waste of our time and horrifying abuse of customer care.
Why do I even have to give this place ONE star? Every interaction I’ve had with this U-box nonsense has been so much more trouble than it’s worth. They are rude, dismissive and impossible to reach. Lost both my reservations.
Absolutely horrible customer service. Most of the employees I encountered obviously hate their job.-First issue: I was told to call back in 10-15 minutes when I needed to extend our rental another day; but, when I called back FOUR times throughout the afternoon, nobody answered the phone.-Second issue: When I turned my truck in, it took them 30 minutes to get me checked out.-Third issue: When I turned in my truck, I was told I’d get a $30 gas credit. The next day the story changed. When I questioned this issue, Robert became upset very quickly and was out right RUDE. His supervisor (Mark I believe his name was) didn’t even apologize for his behavior and I still didn’t get my full credit.We have to rent a truck at least 2 more times before we complete our move; but, we will go out of our way to give someone else our business.
I called to make sure that they pumped propane until 7 PM. I was assured that they did, then upon arrival I unloaded my tank and was informed that there was nobody there that could pump propane. I explained that I had called and was assured that they would fill my propane tank. The guy there said that I didnt call because the phone hadnt rang for two hours. Well I called and you guys suck!
Don’t bother with this location. The people are friendly but overall this location is really slow. I get they do a lot of business but the time to wait on service is really long and they could use more staff and computers. Rentals the past two times were also not ready as the trucks were missing other rental equipment I had asked for. Twice now I’ve gotten old sub par trucks. This time I had a break down. The time before last the cab stunk and was beaten up looking. Uhaul corporately nationwide needs to update their fleet.Lastly not to ding this location for this but uhaul’s phone support is terrible. Long wait times if anything goes wrong. Roadside/regional dispatch seem to have a disconnect with communication as this store was unaware I had broke down when they called me the next day wondering how the rental went and if I needed more time since I hadn’t returned the truck that roadside had towed.
The female manager of this establish is the absolute worst and make up the rules as she go and with whom she please. I was informed that I could not rent a truck for 24 hours at the end of the month because it was a busy time; well duh, thats why its first come, first serve. I am in the process of locating another storage facility. From this point forward Ill use budget truck rental, they were more accommodating and professional!
The representative Julia told me she made a mistake and they did not have any of the correct equipment that I had reserved. They sent me to two other UHaul locations to pick up my equipment, charged me for the 30 extra miles I drove because of it, and charged me for a dolly they never gave me. They then GUARANTEED that I would not pay a cent for this horrible rental experience, then sent me a bill for almost double what my estimated price was because of the extra miles. The manager Freddie finally called me back to give me a *partial* refund, and repeatedly denied that theyd ever made a mistake in the first place. Never even said they were sorry for the trouble. It took me calling the regional office for him to call me again and offer me more of a refund for their horrible horrible service. I promised him Id leave this review, so here you go, Freddie.
Ive rented trucks from here a few times, and theyve earned my exclusive business. Sometimes theres a line and the wait can run a little long, which is why I rated four stars. They have had a truck available every time Ive needed one. The staff is usually pleasant to deal with and the store hours are better than most of the rental places Ive dealt with.
3 people working when we picked up a uhaul. We have already placed the order online. The lady that checking us out messed up the order. It took 45 minutes for them to fix it. Not one of them said they were sorry. A man came in behind us and no one greeted him for 20 minutes.
I needed to move a vehicle the online and real world experiences both were exceptional. Every person i communicated with was knowledgeable or willing to find the answer i needed. There were no unexpected fees, they took the time to hear what i needed and provided several options toward my goal. The facilities were tidy well ordered and seemed to hold everything one might need when moving. From boxes to hitches and recievers to tow with. Excellent people skills they explained clearly and thoroughly what they could do and what my responsibility was to avoid extra charges ie.... Cleaning, late fees, drop off points. Very happy from start to finish.
Several weeks ago, the features needed for installation of tow hitch by older woman working here were clearly discussed on the phone prior to installation, as per recorded phone conversation. When it was being attached, the cost and time to attach more than doubled. If it wasnt for the super nice guy that installed the hitch, I would have rated lower.

These people down there are understaffed and lazy. Ive been there numerous times to just purchase propane they seem to not even want to sell anything just sit on their fat butts behind their counter in the air conditioning. I wouldnt recommend going there for anything
I’m here RIGHT NOW waiting on my vehicle at the 806 Twin City location in Arkansas. I made an appointment at 8:29 a.m August 6th to make sure this location had the proper equipment to install a trailer hitch on my vehicle so I could drive my stuff back to Texas. I made a 9 am appointment for the 7th. An hour into my appointment with zero progress ( I could see my vehicle still sitting in the same spot ) I was informed someone had to drive to ROGERS to pick up the proper equipment because they didn’t have it in stock. I SAW THE GUY DRIVE OUT OF THE PARKING LOT after we arrived. Freddie Arietta Jr Was extremely rude and we even had another customer come to the parking lot to tell us Freddie was bad mouthing us as customers in front of others!! He said..”it’s not my fault they have to drive back to Dallas.” No Freddie.. you are correct it isn’t your fault we have to drive back HOME but it IS your fault you didn’t make sure you had the proper equipment before inconveniencing your out of state customers. I’ve never been one to complain or cause a fuss EVER but I’ve never seen behavior like this..and I’ve been in the customer service/service industry for 11 years.
Reserved a U-Haul online to make it easier toPick up got here they didn’t even have my truck I reserved and have to wait for one to be cleaned !!
Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Units are rented on a monthly basis. I would have given them five stars, but the prices are a bit high.
Went in in January to buy some boxes and tape. Used my debit card. 3 weeks later there is a 120.00 charge from a uhaul dealer in Oklahoma. Someone came in behind me that day and my card info was used to secure their truck. Not sure if it was employee error or fraud but either way I will not use my card in their location ever again. Please be careful if you do. I disputed the charge and eventually won but it took 4 months to get it finalized.
This place has been so helpful to my family and I. They are always so helpful. We use U-Haul quite a bit and the team in Springdale, AR runs an awesome facility. Thanks!

This is by far the friendliest U-Haul store Ive encountered over the course of several moves. The manager is a bit of a wiseacre, which made an otherwise mundane errand enjoyable for me.

SOMETHING FISHY ABOUT GM!!!!!Hello my name is Marcus Blackburn we spoke earlier on the phone well I have had time to think about the incident this morning and let me get into it first your GM swipes my card the first time and said it didnt go through then he said oh it says that our company is not under contract to EXCEPTED this card then i said what? He said it shows we dont except that particular card then Im thinking to myself I never heard of this before so he said we can do cash so I went and got 100 cash and bought it to him then as we are sitting there he says to me for some reason its not letting me take the cash now okay but I just watched the customer before me pay a 130.00 cash no problem so he kept messing around then the receipt comes out then I leave to go use the truck and in the middle of moving my phone goes off saying that the card was excepted so with that being said I am not stupid when that came across my phone it came across his computer and he should have called me and said it did except your card(and I know hes going to bring up the power outage but it didnt last that long) but when I get back hes gone and he had to be called on the phone so when the other employee told him that the card was EXCEPTED he no I reversed it but I am thinking to myself thats not what you told me this morning you said the company didnt EXCEPTED that particular card so how can you reverse something that you said never went through in the first place! And of course it didnt show because he erased it from the files my memory is great after I calm down and think and he kept the hundred cash for himself then this is not good for you are your company and yes I am calling him a thief and my bank think so as well after I explained what happened they immediately cancel that card and now their gonna to do a full investigation against your company because if hes saying he reversed it it would have shown up we never had this problem before until now! Then you get a call from him saying the money didnt go through so when I call you you have already been informed by him that I was calling because how would you know what went through on the card if you wasnt there! Its a damn shame to get my lawyer involved over a hundred damn dollars but its my hundred dollars I worked hard for! If the bank finds out that any thievery was involved I will be suing him and you no threatening its a promise you now know the whole story the ball is in your court now.Thank you.
The U-Haul store in Springdale, AR are great in addressing the needs of their customers. I will always use this Uhaul Store for all my moving and storage needs. Lisa & Robert deserve their recognition in providing excellent customer service.

Rented a truck last minute and had a great overall experience. Drop-off took longer than expected, just because there was only one employee checking in vehicles and there were several customers returning trucks.
People were very rude and nor helpful in any way? Very robotic and rolled their eyes, no name tags to report the employee. We did.nit rent our Uhaul from this location due to poor customer service.

Daniel (I believe that was his name) gave us the shittiest experience weve ever had when it comes to costumer service. Very unprofessional and rude to my mother and fiancé. He is of no use to the Uhaul company. Ill be surprised if business ever increases under their current management.

After towing a small truck from OKC to fayetteville, I called to price a tow dolly from BRYAN he said my tow vehicle wasnt capable of towing the vehicle I just towed, and quote your not gonna do it with our stuff Never using U-haul again.

I believe they are to expensive and you have to pay extra to get into youre storage after 5pm. Thats really insane if you ask me. I pay enough every month. That I shouldnt have to pay extra to get in after hours.
