Dont bother bringing your car here for warranty work, Ive had a buzz from my central console since purchasing the car which I finally decided to have fixed. Instead of diagnosing the issue, they blamed it on my recently installed aftermarket exhaust being too loose. I explained that buzz was coming from the central console and existed since I bought the car, but they completely ignored me. I dont know if VW instructed them to find any reason to reject a warranty or if this particular dealership is simply lazy and incompetent. Regardless of the reason, avoid this dealership.

I will never schedule service or consider a purchase from this dealer again. I got a postcard in the mail that bore their logo, but was later told it came from Volkswagen. It had me put a code into a website that would give me offers. One was for a $59.99 synthetic oil change. When I accepted that offer, the website asked for information about my Jetta, and then suggested other services. I took them up on two recalls, and an air filter change. When I went to book the appointment through the same website, the oil change was not listed. I wrote in the notes that the primary reason for service was the oil change. I requested a call from a service coordinator and didnt get one. The day before the appointment I called and was assured that, although the oil change offer was from Volkswagen, not this dealership, but we will honor it anyway.When I went to the dealer for the scheduled service they claimed they knew nothing about the $59.99 synthetic oil change, and wouldnt honor it without the coupon. There never was a coupon. They tried to upsell me into buying the 120k mile services at over $700. When they refused to honor the oil change, I took my car elsewhere.

I just purchased my first VW this month. Our sales rep Joseph/Joe was very down to earth and friendly. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. I arrived to the dealer right before they were closing and didnt feel pressured or rushed. They were even able to work around my work schedule and had the car delivered to my job the next day! Such a convenience! I was able to text him with questions and he is always available. I highly recommend you visit VW in Stamford and visit ask for Joe! I love my new car! Thank you :)

I dont know why they take out my review...They charge me 780 dollars to change a piece to give power to the left side light. For many times I ask to take the warning in the panel, before and after they informe me for sure they going take out. Just keeping in my panel. I dont mind to pay the value, but they dont did everything as they promise

Weve purchased, serviced and had repairs done on our two cars by Prestige Volkswagen of Stamford. On my last visit I was not charged and they washed and vacuumed my car, too. Mike was helpful, pleasant and efficient. We love our VW Diesels. Im sorry theyre not selling them right now. When I lived in Germany everyone drove a diesel. We get twice the mileage compared to gasoline. I have a hard time blaming VW for Dieselgate. We love their cars and this dealership.

After this company was sold and most of the employees were sacked, there is only a pretense of an actual company here. No one in service knows what theyre doing, and no outside service person can figure out all the secrets VW keeps to their service people. Maybe they could share them with the service people they train.Ive spent hours returning my car again and again because they havent fixed what they said they fixed, they forgot to repair what I came in for, and they cant reschedule an appointment for 6 weeks.The customer service does not return phone calls, no one cares one iota for customers. I have experienced this horrible demise over 5 or 6 years. Its incredible that I can buy a $2 espresso at Starbucks and they remember my name but no one here remembers me from almost 6 years of service visits. As soon as they can fix my car Im selling it and will never ever buy VW again.They have lied about the problems with the car. I was almost killed when the ignition went out while I was on a highway and the car just stopped. They fixed my keyless entry with a battery but it only worked one day. They ordered a part 2 months ago but arent sure it came in. They said they fixed the high pitched hum, BUT THEY DIDNT, they just gave the car back and told me I was imagining a hum because they couldnt hear it.Im sad the original owner sold the company because it was completely different with a different staff.

Terrible customer service. Terrible staff. Terrible management. This dealership sells defective cars. Had 2 very bad experiences here... your better off going to Stratford.... or north haven.
