The young man that answered my call gave me great advice on my sons phone ...explained the front screen would be one price and if the back screen should crack when put in press it would be an additional cost....... I called my carrier and his phone would be covered under the protection plan ..... awesome employee
Great costumer service. They squeezed me in at the end of the day. I needed to hold out a little longer to get a new phone and this was the perfect compromise. I do wish their avg pricing was posted but over the phone was great. Walk in appointments is the way they do things! $150 for apple iPhone 7 Plus screen shatter. They even fixed and tightened up other parts of the phone free of charge and I appreciate that.

CHRISTIAN helped get my phone back to life for MUCH cheaper than buying a new refurbished phone and it was done within 90 minutes.They figured out what the problem MOST LIKELY was and quoted a repair price. Best part- the diagnosis was free. If they find more damage and the repair costs quote increased, they just call you to see if you want to go ahead with the repair anyway. If not … no charge at all. Very pleased with service. Would definitely use them again.

Original review below:They need to change the name of the store to UBreakIBreak.First - I booked an appointment for 10am, the first slot of the day. I arrive at 10am only to be told they cant fix my phone that day. To quote Seinfeld - “You know how to take the reservation; you just don’t know how to hold the reservation.Second - I bring in my phone for screen replacement. Halfway through the time slot, I get a call they broke the proximity sensor and they requested to keep my phone for 3 days since they have to order the part. How absurd - just leave my phone in the store while they wait for the part to arrive. The part didnt arrive 3 days later, it took 10 days. They wanted to hold onto my phone for 10 days. How many people can go 3 days without their phone, let alone 10 days? When I picked up my phone from the store and requested documentation of the broken sensor, the staff looked at me like I had 5 heads.Third - The staff have no understanding of contact information. My first repair, they called the phone being repaired - not the contact. You would think they could see the phone ringing in their hand. My second repair, they called the first contact, which I said to remove from the system - not the new contact I provided.Fourth - I was not offered anything for the broken proximity sensor. I was told Corporate sets prices and we cannot give discounts.
Very poor communication. I dropped my phone off to get its screen replaced at 5:30pm. I specifically told them I need to be emailed when its ready the next day because I do not have access to another phone. I was told it would be ready the next day by noon. Time comes with no update. I call and am told that they called the phone (that they are working on) and left a message that they need my passcode. I give the passcode and am told I can pick it up in 30 minutes, and that theyll update through email if its done before or if there is an issue. I wait an hour and leave work early to drive 20 minutes to pick it up. At that point Im told they need another 2 hours. No email prior. I have to leave and come back a second time. Im offered no discount but a $10 off coupon on a phone case purchase. What a joke. Clearly the employees do not care. To top it all off, the first thing I notice is a black piece of plastic in between the camera lens and glass. It doesnt affect the camera thankfully, but its the first thing I noticed. Very obvious but they gave it back to me like that anyway. Better off going somewhere else who respects the customers.
Within 2 hours of dropping off my phone to have original cracked screen replaced, it was ready for pickup. Pricey, but the fellow did a beautiful job & I feel like I have a new phone. I do not need to press hard on screen. All screen contact works smoothly. Thank you. Love it.
Took my phone in for screen repair ONLY, battery was fully charged. I had explicitly asked the employee helping me that the phone would be given to them turned off and it was not to be turned on at any point during the repair to ensure protection of sensitive financial data(for clients). The employee said he understood and not to worry. I also told them that it would be monitored on my Mac during the repair to make sure it stayed off. One and a half hours after the phone was dropped off I received an alert on my Mac that my phone had been turned on. I sped over to the store to ask them why the phone was turned on and was met with some excuse about how its standard for them to charge it after its repaired and thats why the phone had turned on automatically. I had told them that if they were aware the phone would turn on when plugged in, they being experts in the field should have known and avoided this. They had no reply. They either do not know how to follow instructions or they are up to something. I dropped the phone off at 2:30 PM and the estimated pick up time on the receipt was for 6:02 PM. The phone was turned on around 3:45 PM (20 minutes after it was repaired according to rhe employee) and I had received neither an email nor a text on my iMessage like they were supposed to send me. So they would have had my phone for an extra almost 3 hours. For what? This was the first time using this company and I have immediately lost all faith. Never again.

Jamel is great!! Such a nice and knowledgeable guy. Cracked screen on my iPhone X and a nasty virus taken care of in less than a half day. They were super busy but he took the time with each and every customer. I will be back and I will be requesting Jamel.

I dropped off a Samsung Tablet for repair a over a month ago. Called and asked for an update, I was informed the technician didnt leave any notes. No manager at this site. No additional details are available. The technician will call me before end of day. Two days later, still no calls and no updates.

I went for a screen replacement for my I phone 11 and when I returned the staff informed me that my screen was fine and the issue was with the protector. Been working from home which means I’m super reliant on my laptop. When I started experiencing an issue the staff was there. They worked through the issue even though it required multiple visits. Each time the staff was welcoming, explained the possible problem and got my device back to me quickly. Going forward these are my guys if I have any computer / tech issues. Excellent experience. Very professional. Received a confirmation call earlier in the day, then the technician called when he was about 15 minutes away. He was right on time and fixed my phone quickly right at my location. I would definitely recommend.
The service was quick and efficient, very good communication over the phone and in person.
They tried and got my device to me quickly so I would leave a “good review”. In doing so they rushed and the home button in the iPad didn’t work and the device rebooted every 3-4 minutes. They have a 90-day policy that you can keep bringing it back until it is fixed. I have a feeling that the 90 days is for them. I sure hope it doesn’t take 90 days so that my device actually works again. I dropped off the device on Tuesday for the second time and it was “fixed” again by Thursday evening. I just picked it up today - Friday - fingers crossed. I’m not ecstatic with these guys. The kiosk at the mall did a much neater job and it only took them one try.

I dropped my phone on Sunday and reached out to Ascurion Verizon to have it repaired as opposed to a complete phone replacement (the repair only cost $30 while the replacement was going to be $200).To my surprise there was a technician ready the next day all day. He came at the time I selected and repaired it in his vehicle in less than 30 minutes! The technician was Nino and he was really quick to the point on what the repair would entail.What I like most is that the technician comes to your location of choice at your time of convenience and you can just hand him off the phone and go about continuing your business. I had the technician come to my school because I had class still.10/10 quick, convenient and no problems.
Nino repaired my phone screen through my AT&T insurance plan and was pleasant, professional and fast. The service came to my home, Nino replaced the screen in his car and 15 mins later it was done. Excellent experience!!
I broke my iPhone screen and because of it, disabled my phone. It is a very complicated issue but Matt went above and beyond and came visited me five times and eventually got it fixed. SKETCHY....dont bother. One guy tells me that a battery replacement take 25 mins. I come in to get it done and they tell me it takes FIVE HOURS to run tests (on a battery replacement) and that they will have access to all my personal data. No option to sell battery either. Buyer beware!!!

Seldom do you come across an exemplary professional as I did yesterday with Jamal (sp?). My iPhone 11 was charging intermittently. I gently blew it out with canned air to ensure there wasn’t some foreign object in the lightning port, but the problem continued. I always repair my iPhones, but when I saw how long it would take to replace the lighting port, I decided to take it to this store.After Jamal connected it and saw that the power was being received at about .5±, he took it into the back and gave it a quick cleaning, and voila, it was accepting a full 1±Right before servicing me was an older man who knew nothing about his problem but asked Jamal three times if perhaps someone else from the back should come to verify Jamal’s diagnosis, which made my wait time unnecessarily longer than it had to be. But I was most impressed with how patient Jamal was with this infuriating customer and that right after that he could have been so exasperated that he wouldn’t take the time he did to save me $149.00 and a needless replacement.
Ive been to them twice now and had great experiences both times! Everyone here is friendly and helpful. Theyre also reasonably priced and very upfront about how much things are going to cost. The first time was in December, they fixed my phone within a few hours.But Im writing the review now because they helped me with my computer this week. I was really worried about saving all the stuff off of my computer after an issue with the hard drive, but they were able to save everything! They were so responsive (answered my questions, called me with updates) and finished the job sooner than they originally told me they would. Thank you Johnathon for saving all of my photos and the stuff on my computer!

I hadn’t had a problem with my iPhone 6S since I bought it in 2014. I felt pretty panicky when it stopped charging last night. Luckily, I found ubreakiFix and in a few hours it was up and running. First we discussed my options and prices. Ended up my battery needed to be replaced. I left happy and with a $10 coupon.

Initially, I had gone to At&T where they informed my charger port was broken & needed to be replaced. Turns out, it was clogged with debris despite At&T cleaning it out. He was able to get everything out & have my phone working in a very brief time. Highly recommend!!

I dropped my Google Pixel 4 off at 11:30 in the morning and it was not ready until almost 7:00. I called ahead of my visit to ensure the time frame of 3 to 4 hours of drop off. Considering this location opens at 10:00 on Mondays and closes at 7:00 I would have thought this initial time frame of 3 to 4 hours would mean that I would have my phone back by 3:30 in the afternoon at the latest. When I called at 3:00 I was advised it would be an additional hour. I called at 4:30 to verify it was ready. I was advised it would be another hour. I visited at 5:30 figuring it would be ready. I was advised it would be another hour at least. I now know that I must take better care not to MILDLY, COSMETICALLY CRACK my screen. absolutely no functionality was lost due to the crack in the screen. I was without my phone for 7 hours. At the end of it all, the guy behind the counter told me it would be easier to replace the battery and the charge port as well as the only thing that was wrong in the first place, the screen. Unnecessary extra steps that added 3 hours to the initial time frame should have been brought to my attention prior to performing them so I could sign off on the process. I will go back to this place if I injure my phone again because of the convenient location and relatively friendly service. Communication is key in any relationship and that holds very true for those in the customer service industry.Update 1/28/21: My concerns have been addressed by customer service. While my time cannot be returned to me, I received additional services I needed and was assured of future communications being more transparent with repairs.
Website states same day turn around. Brought my phone in and was told I would need to factory reset and would need to leave with them for multiple days for a screen repair. Seems unreasonable for something that can be done in a couple hours

This is the second time Ive used the Stamford UBreakIFix store - once to change the battery in my iPhone X during COVID, and just yesterday to get my iPad Pros battery changed. They did a fine job in both instances - and w/r/t the iPad, they finished it more than 36 hours ahead of their own estimate. It works fine and you cant even tell the machine was opened up. And now my battery life is back to running for 2 days, not 2 hours... Nice, quick and professional job in both cases.
Overall I had a good experience with uBreakiFix. I dropped off my old phone to have the power button repaired. They quoted me a price the day I dropped off the device and they had it fixed a week later. No extras, no delays, no problems. The two young men working there were pleasant and easy to deal with. I thought the price was a little steep but hey, you get what you pay for. I would use this place again and I would recommend it to anyone else.

This is the second time I’ve taken a device to UBreakIFix and this experience was as good as the first time. They are helpful, professional and responsive They replaced a dying battery in my iPhone 6 within 90 minutes and the entire process was simple. I’ve now been to two different locations in the area and both experiences have been great. I would highly recommend them without hesitation.
Rather than going to the Apple store in the mall we thought we would first stop here. Zaul saw what was giving us a problem and took care of it in minutes. Again we are extremely happy with the staff and their professionalism.

I came in because I had an issue with my iPhone in which I couldn’t hear out of the ear piece. They took it to diagnose it and came back a few minutes later. He handed me back and phone and said, we cleaned the inside and it should work now.... and it did!! They did not charge me, even though I would have happily paid. Great service - will be back again!

My printer had a paper jam and I removed the jam. Ive removed plenty of jams but this time the printer didn’t reset and it kept thinking there was a jam. I brought my printer over to UbreakIfix on a Saturday afternoon (great hours by the way) and they said it could take 3-4 before I heard back. Only 2 hours after I dropped off my printer I received a text update that my printer was fixed! I was so happy that they were able to fix it! Matthew arrived at my house the very same day I filed my claim for iPhone repair. He called me 35 minutes before he arrived to let me know when he would arrive and he was right within the 2 hour timeframe promised. Matthew was very friendly and professional and fixed my phone within 20 minutes. In addition, he followed a very strict COVID protocol in a positive manner. I was so impressed with how easy and pleasant this experience was!

Did a good job on the phone, but when phone was ready they did not call the number I had given, they texted and called the phone they were working on. When I had tried calling store, no one answered and it went to voicemail. If they had contacted the number given I would not have wasted half my day.
Quick service, can’t speak to overall value as got service through monthly Verizon/Asurion insurance with $29 deductible, but felt good not to pay full cost of screen replacement. Come right to your doorstep and repair in their truck in 20 minutes.

I brought my Ps4 in for a replacement of my hdmi port. The repair worked and I have not had any trouble with it since. But when I recently opened it up to do some cleaning I noticed they forgot 5 screws when they put it back together. I was disappointed to see so many missing from the system. Hopefully they will see this and take the time to do the next repair right and not skip any steps when putting it back together. It was not a cheap fix.
