Lovely market with a lot of variety despite the smallish location. They have a cafe and restaurant which was closed first thing when I was here but there was still some premade sandwiches that were delicious.Look forward to coming back and seeing the selection at the cafe when its open!

Extremely cool store, a huge selection of delicacies of Japanese quality & a huge selection of breakfast lunches, dinners and how without desserts is also incomparably Japanese quality!

I wish I can give this place more stars!Truly a unique gem hidden in an otherwise unassuming strip mall.All sorts of authentic (!) Japanese goodies, fresh produce, frozen foods and meats, and even freshly made prepared items. Store is small, but stocked to the gills with unique and high-quality items you cant find anywhere else.

They have great ready to grab and go packaged food, made fresh. Check out their 2nd FL for all your anime and manga needs. I am coming back to shop and get booba tea with my friends. Such a hidden gem. I got Japanese snacks and kit kats. Loved it. Highly recommend.

This mid-sized market really packs a punch in terms of a wide variety of fresh, packaged, frozen, and hot Japanese foods. Have been here twice now and understandably the prices are a bit higher to have the convenience in Stamford but the quality is good. Very much enjoyed the bubble tea, made with discernibly quality tea and boba. Also picked up some nato on sale which was a tasty treat, as were the o nigiri triangles (all around $2). Will definitely be back to pick up odds and ends, and special treats. Very curious about the togo ramen broth by Brooklyn Ramen, hmmm....

Best boba place in the area with their long list of flavors. Also, a great one stop shop for anything Japanese. Theyve also added fresh foods from ramen to sweets, to tayaiki and onigiri.

Friendly staff and lovely ambience. The food is half price past ~6:30 as well. Definitely the place to go for Japanese products!

We can order Japanese style bento box.They have Japanese Sushi,Sashimi fish,Japanese style meat (sukiyaki,shabu shabu),Bubble tea and Japanese coffee.Also 2 weeks later they will open Ramen section!!

Much bigger space than Fuji Mart and includes a Cafe with Bubble Tea and Ramen Noodles. Dine in on the 2nd Floor. Later got all our groceries and didnt have to go to Shoprite.

One of the best Japanese markets around. Can find pretty much everything you would need including prepared meals to go. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly.

CoeNeeCheeWah. Yeah hello to you too as you will need that to dive into this very authentic very wonderful world of red bean filled bread and takoyaki takeout. Oh by the way for 7.99 you get an absolutely delicious nine mouth watering eel pieces in a flour and egg baked shell covered in this teriyaki type sauce with ginger. That is takoyaki but who knew? My wife.

They have delicious ramen!! We got a whole cart full of different food and snacks and we cant wait to go back. The staff are very helpful and polite. Easy on/off of I-95 exit 6. If you like any kind of authentic Japanese food and snacks, this is the place to go! If you dont see what you want, ask one of the staff because they have a book that they put your name and number in and theyll order the item and call you when it comes in. A+

This place is great, it has a little bit of everything including super fresh produce, bubble tea, and prepared foods. Certainly my first stop when I need a protein that you cant find in a mainstream grocery store. I pick up noodles here, bulk rice, lotus root and miso paste.

I was sad when the original Fuji Mart moved, but they really needed the space. This place has a lot of great stuff that is hard to find elsewhere. Their preprepared and fresh food is absolutely worth checking out. They even have seasonal treats I thought I would never find outside of Japan.

Very clean and stacked Japanese grocery store. They make really good Ogawa coffee and delicious bubble tea and green tea. I would highly recommend coming here if you want some authentic Japanese groceries.

What a beautiful store.. great produce, pristine prepared Japanese food (delicious) and lovely unusual items (unfamiliar to my Italian eyes) I will return to stock up on some great items and have a bit of Sushi. My husband buys his Natto (sp?) there. They also provide curbside pick up.Thank you for your beautiful store.P. S. we went very early in the morning and it wasnt crowded yet.

A friend recommended this place and we were not disappointed. Nice selection of typical japanese food fresh/frozen as well as cooked food. Some are hard to find like cooked Asari for making your own soup. Prices are reasonable. And portions are suitable for cooking small meals.

I love bubble tea and the snacks. I still haven’t tried the lunch yet but that’s my next thing to do. So convenient to me and don’t have to worry bout the parking. Friendly staff and I can fine the stuff I need.

It’s happens to be the only Asian market in town. Success due to the scarcity of authentic Asian markets and cuisine in the area. The brands and vendors are typical of most Asian grocers. Would like to see more offerings that are more unique versus the standard items found even in American grocery stores.Brooklyn ramen, Japanese coffee, and Asian milk tea is definitely a nice change to the area. Hopefully, this will increase other true Asian food on to the scene.

Love to have an authentic Japanese supermarket in town! The selection is good and the ready-to-eat selection is great!On par with those near NYC! This saves us 40 min - 1 hr round-trip on our weekend Japanese grocery trips!

Love going to this market for the Asian essentials i need to make a great dish. Definitely not for the faint of heart cook though.

This place is great. Reasonable prices, good produce selection. Finally I don’t have to drive all the way to H Mart for Asian produce!Also, their bento boxes are legit. Reminds me of Japan.

Usually very busy, which can be a problem during COVID-19. There are loads of options for pre-prepared dishes and drinks which you cant get elsewhere. Good options for Japanese desserts.

This is Fuji Mart from Cos Cob but much bigger and with Ramen restaurants & sushi. Have not tried restaurant side but able to pick up OK selection for Firepot. Of course pay a premium, but soooo convenient!

Nice place to buy Japanese food and snacks, but there was a heavy oily smell in the store, after leaving the store, my clothes and hair didn’t smell good...hope this can be resolved.

Store made spicy tuna roll was so fresh and yummy! Will definitely go back

Havent been able to eat here yet but we love the market. There are so many choices for miso paste, some great snacks and sauces too. We got delicious soy sauce, wasabi, ramen, some sweets and fruit. They also have meats and veggies that look fresh. They have a good variety, its a nice market.

This place is AWESOME! They sell Japanese/some Korean snacks and ingredients so you can make better ramen, curry, katsu, etc dishes yourself. Their bean sprouts are WAY cheaper than the canned Stop& Shop fare.They also have a deli/restaurant where you can get hot food and Starbucks-y drinks. I got the yuzu lemonade with that pea additive that turns your drink purple. Very tasty!But the best part was their staff. The chicken katsudon was EXCELLENT, and on top of that I mentioned I had an onion intolerance and though I assured them I would be okay with the broth having onions in it, and that all I needed was the removal of the scallions, one of the cooks made the broth special without any onions at all! I was so floored, I bowed like the weeb I am to express my gratitude. I will DEFINITELY be coming back!

Lets just say, i came in there for ONE item🍡... And i ended up leaving with two large baskets of new🍥 items and some old🍚 favorites!! This store is a great addition to the community, and it also saves me a trip to the city😉 hahaha!I believe it was the manager at the register?... Well, she was a HUGE help in locating the item🍡 that iiiii CIRCLED🔄 the store looking for!! I will definitely be back to the store, WEEKLY!!🔙🔜... next week Im going to try their restaurarnt🍶 side, bc the bowls🍜 and boxes🍱 they had on display looked DELICIOUS🍣... This owner moved Fuji Mart in Greenwich to Maruichi at the new location. Same great quality, larger market, with more food options coming including okonomiyaki, ramen, and boba (bubble) tea!
