Yes, the experience was very wonderful and you need a group or a youthful atmosphere or a cable. Do not miss the train of death. There is also a game of boats, sliding off the slopes, the old classic train, watching water games for cartoon characters, as well as the play of talking to birds. It was wonderful with the presenters. I recommend taking spare clothes and water slippers. You will take For a full day, there are some restaurants and cafes, shopping, watching the world of dinosaurs, and a lot. You will pay 25 dollars for parking, and about 155 dollars for the ticket.I had a lot of fun despite the high price, thank you and I apologize for the long wait π΄π²
I do love going to this park. The Avatar land is very impressive and immersive. The attention to detail is outstanding. Furthermore the flight of passage is in my opinion a top tier ride. Also the dinosaur and safari rides i still enjoy doing. To conclude I would highly suggest seeing the Lion king show, it is terrific for the whole family.
This review is from an adultβs perspective with two little kids. Parking - They do not label the handicap parking lot like the non-handicap cap parking lot area. This is a failure because the handicap parking lot is still large and my family had to come up with our own system. I accept more from a customer experience and it wasnβt magically at all. Security/Tickets- Adults/parents please use your own fingerprint for your little kid because your little kid will not remember the correct finger to use to reenter the park. (They have you scan a card and take a fingerprint to enter the park.) If not youβll be waiting longer for a supervisor to come assist you. Get a fast pass or lighting pass. Trust me if you are going for one day itβll be worth the cost. Gift Shop- Go when you first enter because it gets Black Friday level crazy at the last two hours of closing. Ask an associate for the best ones to minimize time. Things to Do - There are like only 5 or 6 rides in the park. Look up waiting times prior because everyone usually likes rides. I liked the dinosaur ride personally. Shows- lion king was definitely kid friendly but not like a Broadway production. Get in line at a minimum 30 minutes prior to a showing. Lines - bring snacks and games for super long lines for kid entertainment. Animals - Itβs like a zoo and great selection to see. Food - each region of the park has that continents food. African severed African style food with spices and chicken/rice. It was tasty. Overall, itβs overpriced, crowded and not as fun as magic kingdom. Just okay in my book. I think my family might of enjoyed the Hollywood studio area more.
My favorite of all the Disney parks! I truly enjoy animals and the Safari ride is amazing. Wait times for any of the coasters are pretty lengthy but worth it. I would recommend going weekdays right at the open or in the later evening. Make sure to get up close and personal with the tree of life. Itβs more to it the closer you get.
This most recent visit to animal kingdom was our best yet! We got to see most of the animals! Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable on the safari. We also went on the various Avatar related attractions which were all beautiful. Overall, the park was way better than we remember from 10 years ago. We will definitely be visiting again hopefully in the next few years.
The safari ride is worth the wait! The tree of life was absolutely amazing! The bugs life movie theater and the bird show were great also! 2 thumbs up for Animal Kingdom!
My kids are not as enthusiastic about Disney as I thought. All the staff were very friendly. Plenty of things to do. We only did a few things before the kids were ready to go. The wait times were not to bad, and it wasnt to crowded. I think the kids arent there for the experience. I think they just want to get on rides.
Definitely my favorite park. I always feel as if Im traveling overseas when Im here. I love it! β€
Great theme park, the entire park has a great feeling to it. A lot of animals everywhere you look!We went on a weekday and the lines werenβt too crazy, and the park wasnβt super crowded. The Pandora section is really nice and the avatar ride is amazing.
This is a good park, but being someone that has been to the San Diego Zoo and Safari, its not on the same level as far as animals. Everest was a decent coaster and the 3D Avatar ride was really good. We did the entire park in half a day so you want the hopper option if you visit.
My second fave...not only for the love of seeing the different animals, but also for the greenery, the peacefulness of nature and the amazing Lion King show.We had the Hopper ticket, which allowed us to visit two Parks in one day. It was all done in fast pace but we still had a wonderful time.SN: if you see a souvenir you like, BUY it, as itll most likely not be available at the other parks.
Wow! The best experience for kids! Like my niece said I never had so much fun .Gotta wear a mask indoor, we went in middle September so it wasnt too crowded and it made the experience even better!my favorite part was the lion king show, the kids also loved the Avatar.Totally recommended
First time here and it was worth it! Loved everything! Too many great photos and we were able to see the baby rhino too.
First time at Animal Kingdom and it was really fun! My visit on Halloween started with The Lion King show and ended with a Safari. Out of all the rides that my friend and I did, Dinosaur was by far our favorite. The food options are healthy compared to the other parks and fresh. The only cons I have are: the new Disney app is very glitchy and many times we had to go to a cast member to help us get everything set. Nowβ¦. lightning passes (fast passes) are worth it but you can only book one ride at a time which is extremely unfortunate. And the Avatar River ride was extremely underwhelming as it could have been fantastic if it was planned out differently.Other than that, I truly cannot wait to return and look forward to more magic.
Had a fantastic time. Weβve always enjoyed this park and this trip cast member Debby, from Ontario California, took my wife and I through the Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail for an in depth (Very informative and thorough) tour. The experience was extremely enjoyable
This was our favorite Park. There was so much to see and the avatar section was amazing. So well thought out. We loved the flights of passage and riding the banshee. I would recommend this park to anyone who would listen.
The Animal Kingdom was fun, there are only a couple of big attraction rides. I highly recommend the fast pass, or you are stuck in line for over an hour. The cocktails through out the park were awesome.
Animal Kingdom is Great. Best Advice I can give go early to ride the rides you want before the lines fill up. Also this park is the Hottest park out of them all, I mean heat wise due to so many Tropical plants in there and all around you. I suggest bring water bottles. Other than that Disney does the best with the conservation efforts.
A huge and beautiful park suitable for all ages High roller coaster on Everest as well as an avatar area for adults.a dinosaur themed area for little ones.savannah of Africa with open vehicles say hello to all the animals and in the same area a cool train that travels to the zoo and petting zoo near the animals hospital.highly recommended an amazing park.
Another great day at Disney.Much preferred this park to Epcot, rides were better, scenery for Avatar was absolutely incredible, everything about it. This park made Magic Kingdom look old, the rides were great, thankfully was relitively empty. So worth coming!
I had a great time visiting Disneys Animal Kingdom park. My kids and I had a wonderful time with the rides, seeing the live animals and all the live shows. My only issue was there are hardly any places to cool down in the summer heat. The Magic Kingdom, Epcot and Hollywood Studios all had retail stores where you could browse around to just cool down during the summer.
Be sure to do the 4d avatar ride but I will definitely pass on the dinosaur ride next time. Their rafting ride is not as good as some other parks rafting rides. The expedition roller coaster is so fun. The safari is really cool. I enjoyed the lion King show. As always, wear comfortable shoes because you could easily do over 10 miles of walking in a day. Make restaurant reservations for sure early on. The Pandora/Avatar section was so gorgeous. Imma need them to turn more fans on tho!
Man, words cannot express how amazing this place is ππ₯Ίππ I literally thought this park that I would like least, but nope it is the one I liked the most!! It is amazing!! It helped me appreciate nature a lot more Disney is amazing in general. Thank you Disney and all the hard workers who put their time and effort to make this place magical!! πππ
A beautiful park! The greenery really makes this beautiful park less βtheme Parkery,β itβs more relaxing and less hustle and bustle! The yak and yeti Chinese fried rice is absolutely delicious and the flight of passage is a must do!!
I think Animal Kingdom is likely the most overlooked at the Disney franchise. It doesnt have the flash of the other parks but it really has lots for every age group. The train to Conservation Station is a great look behind the scenes and the hands on for the kids is awesome. The Gorilla Falls trail and the Jungle Trek are great opportunities to see animals in their habitat. If timed correctly, you can see all the gorillas out at once during feeding. Gorilla feeding changes time each day, so youll need to get lucky as we did on our most recent trip.Tusker House is expensive but the family style restaurant is great if you want to get the kids a close up meet and greet with the characters.Nomad Lounge and Tiffins are a great spot for an adult beverage and higher end meal. Definitely recommended locations if youre on date night (or day) at Animal Kingdom.Though the park is geared towards education, the Flight of Passage gives you one of the best rides on Disney property. Definitely dont skip Animal Kingdom, its worth a visit.
Must have ticket and make advance reservation. Because they are still limiting the number of people, lines werent too bad. Face masks mandatory.
Make sure to check out the Dinosaur ride...very underrated ride! The new Pandora world lives up to expectations as it amazing to just look at. The rides and attractions were great while my daughters loved searching for badges throughout the park doing the scavenger hunt. It kept them busy all day!
Like a big zoo with rides. The safari, Avatar and Mountain rides are a must. Tiffin restaurant was delicious and worth the price.
This park was pretty crowded on our visit on a Thursday. We enjoyed Pandora area and riding the Banshee! An amazing ride! Everyone wore masks however once into the 40 minute walk through winding areas, masks did come down, dropped below noses as children clung to rails, put hands all over everything....like little ones do all the time....; not a lot of mask maintaining until, after this 40 minute walk, you come up to the staff. Just a heads up for those trying very hard to have fun and no worries about masks. You still have issues. Eating here has changed and gone is the huge friendly bar the was in Africa. If you want to sit at a table under a roof with fans and in shade, you have to have ordered food at that spot. They have figured a great way to keep the street music going by having the band on a boat that winds through the park and include characters during a run through as well. Theyre doing their best in very difficult times, especially in Florida where COVID runs rampant.
I was most excited to see the Pandora segment of this park. It was so beautiful, the speakers played creature sounds all around the area and the 2 rides I went on were so fun. The Navi River Journey ride was especially beautiful. And the Avatar Flight Passage ride was so cool. If you get easily motion sick, I would not recommend, but it was just so amazing, words could not explain the experience.I also went on the Kilimanjaro Safari Tour and the animals were all so gorgeous. We got stopped by baby giraffes but they were so cute it wasnt infuriating. The guide was very charismatic as well. The positive vibes eradiating from that experience even with the deterrences was amazing.
A Disney character must!!! Food is delicious with flavors that make you crave for more. Jungle juice is so yummy you cant stop drinking itπ
Great place to visit. Would not recommend the main indoor restaurant(way over priced)but many other great options. So much to see and do. Plus, lots of stores to visit for gifts/memorabilia. Fun day trip for the entire family/group or a day date. Clean facilities and parking was a breeze. Tree of Life was the best part, just astounding!
Really great park! Everything was top notch which you would expect from Disney. The rides and shows were fantastic. I do think there should have been a couple of more rides, we started our day and rope drop and exhausted the park by 4. Our favorites were the Avatar and Everest rides. The Safari ride is really special.
Pandora is crazy immersive with a lot of fun interactive elements. The Banshee ride was a really good time, the advancements in the technology behind a lot of the theme park attractions is very clear there. Naβvi River was a really interesting one with some really cool scenery. Everest is always a must see, it did not disappoint in the slightest (nor does it show its age). Dinosaur is another classic that always holds up to past experiences.
Words can not begin to explain how wonderful this place is. We literally only came for the Pandora exhibit, but it was so much more there to see and do. Highly recommend it.
I love, love, love this park. There is tons of shade so even on the hottest days, it isnt too bad. I love seeing all the wildlife and there were even babies on the safari ride that were born at Disney. The new Avatar ride is amazing. You really feel like you are on Pandora. Also, be sure to ride the Himalayan roller coaster. It is beyond fun.
As expected the areas are so well made. They make you feel like you are in that part of the world. The rodes and attractions are awesome. Me only critique are that the lines are very long and sometimes you have to wait an hour to go on a rapids raft ride that takes 5 minutes to complete. Moreover, Pandora was so full that no one could even get in there for pictures... π€·π»ββοΈ Im coming back but maybe some other time...
Another theme park under the umbrella of Disney resorts in Florida.Animal kingdom is more about nature, the plants, trees and animals. The park is themed around the animals and some Disney movie or characters that have a strong connection to nature. There are 4/5 different areas with its own restaurants/food kiosk and attractions. Most of them have an African/Indian influence in design, music, food ... Etc.I enjoyed mountain Everest and Avatar rides the most. They are the most challenging and impressive in the whole park. I had a good food experience in one of its fine dining restaurant Tiffins we had a reservation but as usual its pricey as any restaurant in Disney.
Hadnt been to animal kingdom since I was a little girl. It was really nice to be back as a adult where it is much more memorable at my age.As a Florida native in the summer time it was actually a pleasant day outside. The weather was overcast and breezy and the park has plenty of shade trees to offer. The food is definitely outrageously priced but hey. Its Disney. Its a given. Pandora was absolutely beautiful I wish I could have stayed on Flights Passage all day.Went on a weekday in the late afternoon after the crowd had left and the wait times werent bad at all.
I loved everything here. There is enough to keep you busy all day, and the activities are so diverse. I highly recommend it.
This was a sleeper hit of our trip to Disney at the end of May. This is a really beautiful park with lots of cool features. Expedition Everest is such an awesome ride and roller coaster and had a very short wait when we were there. I was able to ride it back to back many times. Lunch at the nomad lounge was one of the best meals of our trip. The safari ride is an amazing experience and very unique for Disney world. Everytime you go on the safari its a little bit different, you see different animals, you go a different way, the second time we rode it rhinos stood in front of our jeep for 20 mins giving us an extra long tour.
We love Animal Kingdom, but wish it had later hours, epecially in the summer. Pandora is gorgeous at night, and you dont have much time to enjoy it with the late sunsets and 8pm closing time.
This park is more of a glorified zoo. It used to feel much more like a little piece of each region was plucked from the world and planted in Orlando. It used to feel authentic. Unfortunately, it has lost a lot of what made it unique as an animal theme park.
Animal Kingdom was absolutely amazing and the portray of Pandora from the movie Avatar was breathtaking. The ride/attraction itself was OUT OF THIS WORLD!! It was worth the wait. The safari was ok, nothing to brag about, but still amazing to see the animals up closer than normal. Would love to go back in cooler weather.
This is my favorite Disney park. Lines arent terrible. Environment is very fun and casual. Makes for a very fun family day
Great park, very underrated of the 4 in WDW! The shows are a lot of fun - Up and The Lion King are two of the best. The Avatar ride is amazing, but you might have to wait a year to get on. Discovery Island (in the middle) is a little take-it-or-leave-it, but Pandora, African, and Asia are well worth a visit.
We had fun at Animal Kingdom. Pandora is amazing and the safari is great. We had good food and enjoyed the other rides too. I donβt think I would visit again but once was good!
Great theme park, highly recommend if you enjoy animals, the zoo and rides. There are only a few attraction rides for little children, but the trails and animals help make up for that drawback.
Lines moved very fast. Some restaurants were open with plenty of choices. Employees were all very friendly and helpful. It wasnt to crowded in the park either. We ate at Flame tree BBQ its a window order, window pickup kind of restaurant. Pricing was fair and it didnt take very long for the food either. Finding Nemo is still down and there were no more Arial acts at the Lion King theater. We had a great time!!
Loved Animal Kingdom a lot more the Hollywood studios I feel you can accomplish a lot more in a day here than you can at Hollywood loved to see the animals are treated well and kept active and on large areas of land where possible just all around a great visit. Pandora is another experience all together you really do feel like you have been transported to another planet.
One of the best parks Disney has! The Safari was my favorite but then again, the whole park was awesome
This was a first time visit to this park. Very cool experience to see various animals on an African Safari ride. A must see: The Tree of Life, Pandora The World of Avatar ride. For kids, a Wilderness Explorers Handbook is given to explore the park, answer questions and get stickers.
We absolutely loved taking our grandson here for his birthday. He was amazed by the animals and loved the rollercoasters.
Park was great! Rides were good but if you want to ride the avatar ride get to it early!
Beautiful park and quite large. Maybe 2 really good rides- Avatar and The Yeti ride. The others are for kids. They also have a safari tour ride that shows the animals around the park.
I will come back as many times as possible because I love the experience every time it feels different. Amazing feeling
This was the best part of our Disney World experience. Everything about this park is amazing. The Safari is spectacular. The rides and atmosphere are absolutely fantastic. I would come back gladly just to experience this amazing place again.
Animal Kingdom is an incredible park. From the safari, to the 4d films, to the amazing food choices and crazy rides animal kingdom provides an interactive and fun environment for anyone. You can easily spend a whole day here eating, watching shows, and riding rides. This is my favorite park by far!
If you love nature and adventure then you need to visit Disneyβs Animal Kingdom!!!
I LOVE ANIMALS. I would recommend Animal Kingdom for everyone. Go in early and straight to Expedition Everest and then the safari for low wait times. The animals were amazing and super close on the safari. We are in Dino USA and had a good burger.
Animal Kingdom is overall a good park, but would appeal more to younger children. Its like having a great zoo and good theme park combined. There were a few noteworthy rides for older guests, the rides I would recommend are Avatar Flight of Passage (the best ride in the park), Expedition Everest, and Dinosaur.
Was just here in June and loved it so I decided to come back in September. Lines were a lot shorter due to start of school and still enjoyed it as much as I did in June.
Had a great time. You will have to pay for parking 25$. The water is overpriced at 3.99$ so if you want to save a bit you might have to plan better. Pandora is a must do, the details are so good. Next is the kali river - if you donβt want to get wet just take a pancho. The tree of life is not available right now in September 2021 but they said it might be Available later part of the year.
The only things I liked about the park were the Lion King show (which was awesome. My toddler absolutely loved it!), the Kali River Rapids ride, and the delicious breakfast we got when we first walked into the park. The staff throughout the park (except for the first restaurant we visited) seemed pretty rude all day. The Safari ride would have been cool if the lady driver was nicer and didnt drive like a maniac on a race track. She yelled at us for our toddler standing on our lap as we sat in the stopped vehicle at the end of the ride for 10 minutes waiting for who-knows-what so we could get to the exit and get off the ride.
My first time being to Animal Kingdom was WILD.It is a mixture being a small zoo and amusement park and while there isnt much rides compared to other amusement parks or not much animals compared to full zoos, exploring this Disney kingdom is a must. It is so beautiful the wildness, the cultural notes of countries and the land of Pandora was beautifully and accurately done. All animals looked happy both in their habits and in the safari. The Safari is a must as you get to experience the animals out in the field and because their hearts allow them to do whatever they want you can get a different experience every time. The Tree of Life detail is so intricate. My mother and I jaws were on the ground in amazement. We couldnt get enough staring at it.Now for the best part- PANDORA. We sadly only got to see it during the day however it was AMAZING nonetheless. How they design the floating rocks, jungle of it all was just wild. Disney you truly out done yourselves this time.My favorite ride that I had the experience of - Flight of Passage. It felt so real, the color, 3D, smells, ACTUAL SMELLS DISNEY THREW AT US. I left emotional from the beauty I just had experience. It was the only ride we went on for a second time during our vacation at Disney and Universal. We loved it that much. And I even left emotional the second time!I want to be part of your world- Ariel knows what I am talking about.
Get there early and head straight to the Safari ride, then ride it again! Very relaxing and always changing. Gorilla exhibit will have you staring in awe for an hour. So much to do. The buffet in the African restaurant is worth every penny.
This is such a great park. The Mount Everest ride was really cool, the safari was great and a bugs life was really cute. Had a lime margarita by the safari ride and it was soooo delicious
What a lovely place for the whole family! So much to do and see for all ages. Restrooms and snack bars conveniently placed through out the whole park. Lines are super long but so worth the wait!
I loved Animal Kingdom! This place really feels like youβre walking into a wildlife haven. It was so fun to see animals everywhere especially on the safari they have there. Just an all out amazing time! At the end of the day when the park was closing, workers lined the exit path and waved goodbye with Mickey hands.
If youβre at the Animal Kingdom, I also recommend dining at the Tusker House. We love ride Dinosaur but the picture was down and we donβt have one to share. Many favorites in this park including the Yeti!
Its like youre entering a different world. I recommend the rides and to walk slowly through the park to absorb its nature.
This place is so beautiful, it makes you feel like you are in a whole other world! And the banshee ride, wow π² just amazing if you havent done it you are missing out in life! It feels so real. If I could I would live here! Thank you to Disney and all those who work their that can make childrens and adults dreams a reality you guys are amazing that goes for all of you even the people that pick up the garbage around the park you guys do an amazing job and are so important there. I will be back π as soon as I have another 8k to spend π€.
Of all the Disney parks this is probably my favorite. Not near what it was 30 years ago. The workers of today dont even come close to making it as exciting as they did back then for kids. Too bad Walt Disney didnt mentor up someone to take his place. He would roll over in his grave at what direction the Disney leadership has taken it.On another note, the mask stuff is still way over done. If you want freedom to enjoy your day, Universal is a better option right now.
I had the most amazing time! Canβt wait to do it again, there just about every animal from the Disney movies and it all so beautiful. Fast pass is definitely the way to go just so you can get through all the rides and activities and not be drained from having to wait in the long lines. They can be anywhere from 15- 80 minutes long, and always check the weather before you go because once the rain and thunder starts the rides will be shut down until they stop. So donβt forget your raincoat or umbrella! Alway scan your Disney card at the end of the rides before you leave the gift shop to get your photos linked to you Disney account in case you want to get them printed.
I absolutely love animal kingdom!! pandora is one of the best places to visit, you should definitely ride flight of passage, expedition everest and kilimanjaro safaris!!! the food is also delicious!!
In my opinion Animal Kingdom is the best Disney experience. The safari ride is a one of a kind experience with high quality views of a very diverse range of animals. The ride itself is fun even without the animals. We loved the bird show and the roller coaster is a very unique experience as well. There is tons of free stuff to do if you wander around and take in the sights.
Animal Kingdom is certainly the most unique park, and while it may be lacking in quantity of rides, it has some of my favorites in Dinosaur, Safari, and Expedition Everest. The new Pandora stuff is impressive, especially the floating mountains and Flight of Passage, but I do think I wouldve preferred the originally promised Beastly Kingdom.
Had a wonderful time here! I went when school just started so it wasnt busy. Masks are required indoors and on rides, but thats not an issue for me.The Pandora section was awesome and I got to go on the safari twice!! No shows, which was kind of a bummer but I totally understand why. Ill be back again!
We were hesitant as first timers to Animal Kingdom and let me tell you, it far exceeded our expectations. One of the funnest Disney theme parks. Pandora was beautiful and mystical and the Avatar experience was out of this world. The jungle safari experience is wonderful especially by going once in the morning then again towards the evening as different animals are out. Expedition Everest has to be one of my favorite coaster rides. We repeated it five times. Dinosaurs was an Indiana Jones style ride and very fun. I cant say good enough things about this park.
Disney really did an excellent job of making these exhibits feel authentic! The amount of detail that was put into the Asian areas in particular is incredible.
Animal kingdom is one of those must see at least once in your life parks. The attractions here are amazing, the shows and rides are spectacular. This is one that visitors of all ages will surely enjoy.
I enjoyed my day here and was able to see everything and get on all the rides. I was able to ride avatar and Kilimanjaro twice! Oh and I saw Pocahontas and Meeko via boat cruise that has random characters popping in throughout the day. Donβt forget to try there dole whips especially during this heat! So refreshing and worth it
Had the time of my life here! I recommend going straight to the avatar rides as soon as you arrive.
β£οΈπ¦#ScarlettSuggests ... Visit Disneyβs Animal Kingdom. Thereβs so much to love about this theme park. I like the Safari because you can always see so many animals and itβs different each trip. The roller coaster, Everest is fantastic. The new land of Pandora is beautiful and the rides are amazing. I recommend trying to get a reservation to eat at yak and yeti restaurant. This restaurant is owned by Landryβs and the food is terrific.
I liked it more than magic kingdom. My kids loved it too. Tickets are expensive but it worth every pennies.
So awesome! Everest is a great rollercoaster. Nice water ride too. Cool scenery. The safari is amazing. Enjoy the animals and shade. Avatar area is fun too
Disneys Animal Kingdom was such an awesome park. From the beautiful animals to the awesome Avatar Ride. My favorite ride was Mount Everest.
MY FAVORITE DISNEY PARK OF THEM ALL!! The Safari was The Absolute Best! Being so close to the majestic animals filled my Soul with Joy!
The new Avatar section is neat, with the floating rock formations, and the rides. Our kids liked the water ride. I was pretty impressed with the animatronics and special effects. The ride through the safari was cool, and the river rapids ride gave us a refreshing experience on a hot Florida day.
Should have been a fun trip, except for bitting into a piece of metal from their food vendor.
This is my theme park of choice in Disneyworld, and Pandora-the World of Avatar my favorite area in the park. I visited Pandora and Africa while there, and was pleased with my experiences in both areas. All areas in the theme parks, along with the rides, are immersive experiences. Pandora exceeded my expectations with their avatar flight of passage, navi river journey, and kilimanjaro safaris worth the line waits. When i visit Disneyworld again, i will stay in a hotel there.
We loved this park. Along with the animals, you have great rides, and great food. The work that has gone into the design of this park is astounding. It truly is a wonder to behold. Donβt plan on park hopping on the day you go here. You need the entire day to enjoy this park. So much to do and see. The Safari ride was awesome. Much better than going to a zoo and hoping you will see the animals out. Our granddaughter has just turned two and she loved it.
The best part about Animal Kingdom (aside from the animals) is that it has a completely different feel from the other Disney parks. The concourses are narrower and the trees provide lots of shade which is great in the summer when the heat in the parks is brutal. On that same note, there are less opportunities to duck into some quick air conditioning as there are fewer shops than the other parks. In my opinion, the must-do rides here (and the ones to hit if you are short on time) are Expedition Everest, Avatar Flight of Passage and the Kilimanjaro Safari. Itβs best to get to the park early and beeline to those rides as they are usually the most crowded. Make sure to do the two animal walks in Asia and Africa as well. Naβvi River Journey is good for a bit of A/C and relaxation but is otherwise a little boring. A comparable ride to Pirates of the Caribbean but less interesting in my opinion. Kali River Rapids is great as long as you know you WILL get wet! If you have a full day here and have a plan, you will get to see everything there is to see. Keep in mind this park closes by dark (check specific hours through the year as it varies by season).
No doubt one of the most breath taking parks. Beautiful vegetation all around and great park safari atmosphere for the entire family. The Avatar experience is an absolute must. Id rate it as one of the best rides ever...4.5 minutes of pure and exciting fun. I cant speak to many of the other non Avatar rides in the park as on my visit there a terrible rain and we had to leave the park earlier than planned and miss several other rides we planned to do. I would for sure return to this park in the future.
My kids really enjoyed the safari, Disney world really is magical I will remember the memories we made here for the rest of my life.
Great experience! Beautiful scenery. Great food. Loved it!
