Very friendly owner. Small selection while schools out, but was happy with what I seen. After speaking with the owner, she gave me a recipe for Korean BBQ. Will return during the school year to see what theyll have.
Nice little store, lady inside was very friendly
This is a very authentic Asian grocery store. Know what you want before you get there. You will have to navigate the products yourself. The produce is outrageously fresh, good and inexpensive. There is a wide variety of items, make sure you check every nook of the store, they have used every inch of space!
This store is amazing! I like it best because of the friendly staff who is available to answer questions and they take the time out to explain what the items are and how to cook it. This is also a place to find second hand items that international students leave here before going back home. Just ask and you will receive prompt and courteous help. This is a good place for local residents who are unfamiliar with international foods and who would like to learn to shop for foods from other countries because of the friendly and informative staff who will answer your questions. I am lost at other international markets, being unfamiliar with the different food items from other cultures, and the manager here quickly made me feel welcome and at home and introduced me to some of the most common items that people like to buy here. This also a good place for international students to find the foods they are used to having at home. I recommend this store to everyone, it is a little treasure in State College!
The shop owner was very helpful and gave me a recipe for Korean Bbq after finding out that I had been to Korea. The store was closed originally and though we had made the mistake and had offered to come back another day, the shop owner opened up and helped us find what we needed without being pushy. Definitely recommend!
Some of the items that I looked at and bought were past its best by date, the cashier didnt have change. The store itself looks a bit desolate and lacking of items but the cashier seems like a nice old lady.
I love the owner. She is very friendly. Come to buy her stuff!
Small but decent selection.
Has jars of kimchi imported from Korea!!!
The shopkeeper is very friendly.
The owner is a nice old ladyLooks Asian but doesnt speak ChineseCan buy some less common things such as sauerkrautMainly some dipping and dry ingredientsThen there are vermicelli and the likeAnd some snacksThe only downside is that there are not many thingsFor large-scale shopping, it is recommended to go out and turn left and take the car to another Asian Super LeagueNot expensive compared to other Asian Super Leagues
