The staff here is really old fashioned hardware professionals. I took in a picture of what I needed and they knew it, got it and told me if I didnt use it bring it back. They are amazing.

Lived in Statesville for over 50 years first time a life and I visited fort Dodge hardware was today. We were quite impressed by the wide selection of items they had to offer all the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We will be returning on a regular basis.

This is the first time that I have been to this Hardware Store. I was able to take my dog inside with me. Everyone was very friendly and helpful to both me and my dog. This store is easy to see from the road. It has a nice parking lot. I would recommend this store for anyone looking for what ever you may want

Love this place. They have an awesome staff, they are very friendly. I get ALL of my fur babies (dog) supplies here, they recommended their Victor dog food to me when my rescued baby was losing his hair, he apparently was allergic to something in the first food I was feeding him. I took him with me to show the man that helped me (Cant remember his name) and he was very informative and knew EXACTLY what he was talking about, because since being on their brand of dog food (Victor) my dog has gained so much weight, he isnt missing anymore hair, and he is so happy and healthy, and spoiled lol. I get ALL of his supplies here because they are very helpful and will be honest. Im so glad I went there, my dog is very well taken care of.... thanks to these people! I just love this place! I rescued him just before he was starved to death. The vet said he probably wouldnt have made it another day with the previous owners because they sat him out and abandoned him. He was skin and bones, and very weak. But thanks to fort Dobbs hardware, (and his vet) .... hes a big healthy boy now and Im so blessed to have him.. so glad I found him just in time. And so glad I went to Fort Dobbs hardware looking for help and answers I was so lost with (hes my first rescue) and they just helped me so much, Im so grateful to these people because they know exactly what they are talking about. I would give them 10 stars if I could. They are amazing and they have a wide variety of different things they sell. They also have the nicest boots, and clothing Ive found in this area. Thank you all for ALL of your help and hard work, at Fort Dobbs hardware. Ill be back soon... time for some more of that Victor dog food my big boy just loves. Oh and its so nutritious too.... nothing but the best ingredients in that stuff!!!

Very helpful and have almost anything you could be looking for from hardware, to winter wear, to ranch wear, to rodeo wear they have it all. They also have lots of gifts for women and men. Lots of kitchen supplies. Lots of carhart. Decent stock of case knives. They even have canning supplies and pressure cooker parts which are hard to find. Can order almost anything they dont have in stock.

Today we purchased several niche items that are often difficult to find in general stores, even hardware focused box stores. The Ft Dobbs staff are knowledgeable, pleasant, and helpful. I always enjoy my patronage time there.

This is a fantastic hardware store....its not a big box store and the owners are there everyday running the place. They carry serious work clothes and boots and have excellent prices. I guarantee you wont save enough to make the effort looking around. Best place Ive ever found for Red Wing boots and Carhartt. Go see Mark.... hell treat you like family.

Had my first experience here today and this place is awesome! I got exactly what we needed to ride Hurricane Florence out at a fair price and Ill definitely be back again. They have a little bit of everything here. Cool place for sure.

I went to Ft Dobbs Hardware to do some Xmas shopping. I was really surprised. They have a great selection of gift items as well any hardware item, tool, gardening item you might need. The staff is very helpful and friendly. They also carry Yeti products.

Showed up at 5:50 looking for a particular boot, they treated me great! The lady sized my feet and we found a size that worked. They even threw in a bottle of boot Polish! Awsome people! I will be doing business with them from now on.

Have been going here for about a year for my dog food...everyone has always been so nice..I always get off work at closing time for them.. they have always accommodated my needs to be sure I get food for my dogs... even after closing time.... but what they did for my today was amazing and I was in disbelief... I hate that I cant share this good deed due to exposing how great these people are and others may take advantage of their kindness.... trust me these people are fantastic and every chance I get to spend my money there to support this family business I will.... thank yall so much!!
