Absolutely top-notch service every time - prompt, communicative, and helpful. Most recently, I had to order some new rims (and it was time for new tires too), and shipping delays made the wait time a little longer than anticipated. But the staff at Discount Tire were endlessly communicative and kind during every stage in the process, and kept me updated every week until the rims came in. I was able to make an appointment right away to get them put on, and the wait time was shorter than I expected! They went through a lot of effort and made my experience pretty stress-free, and Im very grateful. Cant recommend this business highly enough!

BEST experience Ive ever had regarding vehicle service. I was able to make an appointment online in a very reasonable amount of time. I arrived early and they opened the doors exactly at 8:00 am, it actually almost looked like a commercial. The doors opened, the music was turned on and employees got to work. They approached me and addressed me by my first name. The problem was identified immediately and they got to work.After about 1/2 hour my tire had been removed, repaired, tested and reinstalled on my truck. It was a fine oiled machine going on in there and everyone was super professional.As I was watching I was glad it looked like my tire was going to be able to be repaired and not replaced, but started to worry how much this was going to cost. There was just so much detail in the service. Once completed the employee (sorry, didnt get his name) approached me with a receipt. I looked at it and the balance was $0.00. I asked what I owed and he said nothing, I was confused and asked if he was sure. He explained its the companys policy.I thanked him and told him how awesome I thought they all were. As for many people this has been a rough year and I actually felt joy for the first time in forever! Thank you Discount Tire and yes, my husband and I will be back when we need new tires.

My customer experience was very pleasant to say the least. I arrived early for my appointment, and I was in and out a lot earlier than I expected. The tires I needed were priced very reasonably. They were well organized at check-in and with how they serviced all of the vehicles. This was truly a five star experience!

I met my sister here to have her tires rotated and everything went quick & smooth. I asked if I could inspect the brakes while the wheels were off and they let me, but were kinda in a hurry to wrap things up even though no one else was there waiting. I was able to check 3 of the 4 brakes, but basically got done what we needed.

Had four brand new tires put on my car and the next day I had a flat tire. Not sure if they put a bad tire on but they also broke one of my lug nuts that I have to get replaced now so thats really annoying. Fortunately they replaced everything with no additional cost because it was their mistake but I most definitely wont be going back, it was a long process and it wasnt worth it. I spoke with Harold throughout my process and he was a very good, helpful, knowledgeable customer service representative. I recommend Harold to work with.

So heres the deal. If you need tires go get them here. If you want a flat repair DONT go there. Its free but you get what you pay for. My story is I took a winter set of steel rims I obtained for free with meaty winter tires. I gave them to a family member and personally out them on her car because she didnt have a lot of money to purchase new tires. I stored one outside for a few months, my mistake so one of the wheels around the bead seal rusted.I did a leak check found a leak around the rim. I asked them to clean up the seal surface and use sealant. They said it might not hold and you should get a new wheel, fine. I asked them to clean up the surface rust on the wheel and put sealant on it. I took it back and installed it back on the car and it went flat about two weeks later. I brought it back up to them (taking it off the car for them btw making it easiest as possible) they told me it was run flat and the sidewall was damaged. The car was ridden slow for 1/8 mile with still some air in it. The sidewall was barely nicked, I seemed the tire was fine. 10+ years of automotive experience and studying to be an electrical engineer. The tire was a directional tire which they marked as left, but it was right so it would have been installed in the wrong direction. I decided to clean up the wheel myself I took it over to a shop and they did it right then and there in front of me w/no issues for 20 bucks. They told me the wheel is fine. I understand its a free service but if you dont do it right dont do it at all, charge a small amount and actually do the job correctly. I suppose thats just not the way it works though.Pic of tire marked left I installed on right side and pic of the bead they so called, cleaned up. Dont waist your time if you have rim sealing issues take it to someone who will do it right and pay them! You dont want to wind up in the situation that they pin you into a sale and you have to wonder if they are being truthful or just filling their quota.

They were nothing but professional. They were the only discount tire that actually serviced my car today. Even though they all say walk ins welcome. This shop stayed 40 minutes after closing just to make sure that I left safely. I had a nail and a screw in my tire. They took both out at no charge to me. Very happy with my service and they were very clean and polite. I highly recommend this discount over all the others. Thanks again. I will be back

I have been using Discount Tire for over 20 years. Always the same great service at any location that I have tried. I gave five stars to another location about a year ago due to the way they fixed me up when I got a flat while on vacation, inspite of COVID restrictions. This year, before leaving on vacation, decided to buy a real spare tire and rim, to avoid any issues like the last time. My salesman found me a discontinued rim, and a demo tire with only a few days of driving on it, but that he couldnt sell as new. I went on vacation this year with added peace of mind, and a new tire/rim combination at a price that I would dare anyone to beat.

This place was fantastic. I bought my tires online, the experience was easy but the appointment part was slightly confusing. I thought my appointment was set up, but these guys called me and let me know it wasnt. No big deal, was able to make an appointment for the same day and almost same time. When I got there they had a white board with my name of it and everything. Honestly felt like a king walking in here. My man at the counter was quick, efficient, and awesome. Even got me a deal on the pesky warranty, which in reality if you get new tires you really should buy. They were done in less than an hour, and my Cadillac is riding on clouds.Fantastic service from fantastic people. I cant wait to come back here.

I went in to get 4 new tires and left with a cracked rim and a wheel that wont hold air longer than a day. Now I need to come up with $750 for a new rim and a way to get to work for however long it takes to order a rim. They offered no responsibility. Never had a leak before I took it in. Left with a leak and cracked rim. I had been a customer there for about 20 years. No longer for sure. I dont need my new rim cracked also.

Came into this location today to get a hole in my tire fixed before work. I tried getting their at open as I know this time of year and in a pandemic it could get tricky. As soon as I pulled into the check-in line I was greeted nicely and got my car into the garage. I forgot my lock key for my wheel but that was no issue. They got me in right away and got my wheel off to repair the tire. I have an odd sized wheel, so as they were fixing it, they went over options if it could not be fixed. Within the next few minutes, they informed me I was about done and they got it repaired! I was out the door and driving safely! Thanks guys! Awesome work and even better customer service!!!

I needed a new set of tires for my 88 Blazer because the ones that came on it when I got it were so old and in bad shape that they were dangerous to drive. The guys at the Discount Tire helped me find a tire that performed well and looked good on the truck. We decided on General Grabbers and they were shipped to the store in a couple days. They got the old tires off and the new tires mounted quickly. I was very happy with the service and the price.

Matt is awesome! I came in Saturday morning because my TPMS sensor came on. Long story short, I had my air checked, sensors replaced, new tires put in, and ended up having to come here 4 times in 3 days because the light would not come off. Matt didn’t stop until he figured out the problem. He never got frustrated or angry with me, and explained everything to me in great detail.Everyone here was very pleasant, but Matt really made the experience a lot more bearable, so I give him my best recommendation!

I bought 4 Continental A/S tires.I chose this location today as I had a flat tire repaired here in 2017.On Wednesday afternoon I had a flat tire near Dequinder and 12 mile .After airing it up I drove to Belle Tire just south of 12 mile.Time in was app.5.45 est .Why is that significant ❓The female manager turned me away as they were closing at 6.00A young tech was hanging out just outside the service door.I am always polite .I headed for O Riley to purchase a do it myself plug and a tire inflator can.My boss came with a compressor to assist me.When I called Discount Tire...Matt was the first one answering the phone.He told me that he or Eric would take careOf my needs.Eric was the first person on the ground when I arrived.I asked him if they were on commission.No sir was his reply.I was concerned that the Metro location was closing soon.Both reassured me that they would do whatever it takes.At 6.15. I came to this discount tire for a set of replacement tires. I was wary of continuing to go to discount tire due to a previously bad experience at a different location. I’m SO glad I went to this location! With my car being older they didn’t have the tires I needed in stock (my fault for not ordering them ahead of time). The sales rep offered to order them for me and have them delivered in a few days. Upon inspecting my current tires one of them was incredibly flat. They set me up to have that tire inspected to see if they could fix it to hold me over until my new tires arrive next week. The technician came to my car and drove it up in to the bay for me. He communicated every thing that they were going to do while I waited. The tire was not able to be fixed so they gave me a loaner tire for the next week until my tires arrive at no cost! Upon leaving my splash shield got caught on the bay and bent a little and the technician bent it back up for me and offered to zip tie it for me when I come in to get my new tires! Both gentlemen were incredibly kind and I would absolutely recommend this location! Thank you guys so much for a great experience!

I usually go to the Center Line location, but I was in the area of the Sterling Heights location so I decided to go to this location for an air check. The cones were not properly set up to guide the cars through the air check so I ended up behind a car that was not in line. Then, another car arrived behind my car. When the attendant noticed the car behind me was not in the correct line, he directed them to the correct line. He then approached me to go in the correct line and told me I had to go behind the car who had arrived after me even though I arrived before them.

After an unexpected flat tire happened tonight (10/14/2020) I was able to make it to the Discount Tire on 16 Mile and Van Dyke. Kevin was fantastic! He took my tire off, showed me what happened, put my spare on, put the damaged tire in a plastic bag and didnt charge me for his service. All done within 30 minutes too. Kevin was kind and deserving of a tip for him time. Discount Tire doesnt charge for putting a spare tire on...who knew?

First time Ive ever been to discount tire company. It was pretty great actually besides having to wait about an hour and a half to get a tire changed. They are expensive especially since Im used to paying Walmart prices but the quality is outstanding. I usually spend 50 or 60 bucks per tire and this one came till about 90 with insurance so if anything happens to it its covered theyll give me a brand new tire. I will be going back

Went in for a simple tire rotation. Service tech Ron was very consciencious about details, informing me about my slightly bent rims and rebalancing all the wheels free of charge, taking the time to get it right. Car runs smoother than ever and handles great. I would highly recommend Discount Tire in Sterling Heights.

Last week I went to this discount tire, for a nail in my tire, waited for over 30 minutes for check in, NO ONE CAME TO ME FOR CHECK IN .Called Belle tire 17 & Van Dyke, 30 minutes they fixed my tire with NO CHARGE.

I needed all 4 stem valves replaced on my car. After a nightmare at the dealership who wanted $400+ service fees to do the job due to needing the sensors also replaced, i decided to come here. Eric helped me on the phone price it out. I was quoted $250 for sensors and valve stems. Once i got there for my appointment i was informed by Eric that the sensors did not need to be replaced so i only ended up paying $76 for all 4 stems. THANK YOU! 😊

If you dont get your tires here.. you definitely should!Ive come here maybe 3 times over the last couple years to change out my back tires, then eventually my front tires.My front tires, are just the really affordable ones that still seem pretty decent but hey Im a single mom on a budget!Anyway, I love Discount Tire because their tires always have a guarantee. I hit a nail several months ago, and they patched it for free.Now Im here sitting in the waiting room and this lovely gentleman.. (Steve was his name? I cant quite remember) was just so nice first thing in the morning. I got a flat tire in that same tire that was patched and got a spare on and came here first thing in the morning. Thank god its my day off.Anyway, moral of story is that when you get your tires here, you get everything that may happen to your tires taken care of. Free of charge.

Loud hard music blasting..good service except I was there for almost 4 hrs to get a tire repaired or replaced and I feel it was repairable but got me to buy 1 new tire for $200 then forgot to check air pressure of other tires...they are understaffed and very younge and new guys working in the bay.

They had emailed about getting my tires rotated, since I bought my tires there it was free. I set up an appointment online. They said they could do the job in about 45 minutes. They finished in 40 minutes. All 4 tires needed balanced according to them. So, I guess for the sake of the life of my tires it was a good thing I brought it in. I have always had good service from Discount tire, though I know several people who dont feel the same.

These guys are always the best! I am a realtor and always on the road. I hit something and blew one of my tires in the way to an appointment. I came to these guys in a panic because I didn’t want to miss my appointment with my client. They were so accommodating and got me out of there within 30 minutes. They didn’t have the tire that I needed but ordered my tire and gave me a loaner tire for me to make my appointments for the next few days. I will always come here for any tire repair/replacement!

Great place, I showed up 3 minutes before close just wanting to drop off the keys to my vehicle so that they could fix it in the morning. They ended up patching my tire right then and there, saving me a trip the next day which they obviously didnt have to do.Now I know they wouldnt recommend that anybody show up like that at closing time seeing that they want to get home themselves but I appreciate that they helped me out.

As a loyal customer I was pretty disappointed. Ive been asking them to fix a slow leak for a few years now and that hasnt been solved. But this time after 2 new tires and a rotation, Im certain that it wasnt even checked. I know this because it was the same 15 psi that it was when I left the house deciding to go in. Furthermore, it was completely flat 2 days later. If I didnt keep a pump with me, I would be stranded. But here I am, a customer for years, still carrying a pump that I have to use often. Great people, just not solving an issue I hire them to solve. If its beyond their reach, that needs to be conveyed to me.

Have been there in the last 6 months 3 separate times for slowly leaking tires. Each time they Have an excuse as to why they cannot fix the tire none of their excuses are actual valid reasons. Im convinced they just want to sell your new tires. Bunch of rookies. Go to the next tire joint, save your money.

This is my go to Discount Tire because they always do good work and the staff is always very courteous.My most recent visit was Black Friday and I want to give credit to Darien for helping us out. We were ordering 3 sets of tires and he spent the time to help us pick the right tires for our purposes. He also answered all the questions I had about all the different tires.

Dont waste your time I took my tire to get it patched an they keep it for over 24 hours just to tell me they cant patch it an didnt even bother to call me.

They offered a patch at no cost, unfortunate i had s large hope that wouldnt fix it. There was a descent line of cars in front of me and it still only took about 1 hour. Friendly and professional staff made it a simple process. Would get tires here again if i need them in the future.

My husband and I finally decided to wait no longer and get all new rims and tires put on our 2007 SRT8 Jeep. That morning we had first visited Hot Wheel City, thinking we could find something.. needless to say that was a joke as they only wanted to sell us EVERYTHING we didn’t want. We went to another shop which said they could most likely us what we were looking for, but was not guaranteed.We then went to the Sterling Heights Discount Tire and WE are BEYOND satisfied with the service we received from Jon the manager! He asked what we needed, and was ok when we said we needed it that day, which wasn’t going to be easy since it was a Saturday. Jon got on the phone right away made multiple calls and did not stop until he found EXACTLY what we were looking for. & let me just say this was not no 20 minute process, it took some time but he was professional and dedicated the whole time.He even sent 1 of the employees to pick up our rims and tires from another location. Which only took about an hour, so we were able to leave for a bit and enjoy a quick lunch. Once we returned, they had the new rims and tires on our Jeep in no more than a half hr (maybe even less).We need more people in the world who are as dedicated to their customers as Jon. Needed a tire patch after running over a nail on the weekend. They got me right in on my online appointment time, and out the door quickly... The staff was friendly, didnt try to sell me anything that I didnt need, and was accommodating to my vehicle drop-off/pickup times. Will definitely be back for future tires/service.

I purchased new tires here, and a warranty. I ran over a bolt and needed a replacement tire. They have me the choice of a new tire that didnt match, or I could wait a day and they would have the matching one. I chose to wait, my car was ready the next morning. I went to work and received a call later that day that my tire was ready? Evidently even though I chose to wait for the new matching tire, they had given me a loaner. This was an added inconvenience that I had tried to avoid.As I left with the real new tire, the associate was kind enough to let me know that I had a loaner tire on my vehicle???Thanks for the service. I shall find a new place to purchase tires next time

Came to this location for air for my tire. Was denied service. This is unsatisfactory and unacceptable. I under stand due to Covid there need to be safety cautions but it is unacceptable to denied customer air due to that is a safety hazard. Customer should always be considered regardless.

I worked with Darien, he was very attentive to the customers. He would even give updates to each individual while they were waiting so youre not just wondering how much longer. I also noticed that he addressed everyone by name, even people coming to pick up he remembered their names as they walked through the door. Overall experience was great, in and out less than an hour for tire replacement( they were busy) but his positive energy made it Excellent.

Visiting from Maryland. Had an issue with a tire. Found them on internet,and so glad I did. They were so helpful and friendly. Wait was at minimum. The problem was diagnosed quickly and fixed. I highly recommend this establishment.

Great and energetic crew. Albert and team are respectful to customers and very hard working. I replaced set of tires and they advised me with correct pick. Had to ho back few times as one of the tires was loosing air. But they took care of it quickly. Good idea for Discount Tires to do free air checks as that is food strategy to keep the customers coming and getting used to the store.

My husband ordered tires for his van, and set an appointment to come in and have them installed. When he arrived for his appointment (10 minutes early) he was told that there were 6 people ahead of him and there would be a 2 hour wait, just because they arrived before him. If you aren’t going to honor scheduled appointments, don’t schedule appointments! Then, when the installers finished and put his hubcaps back on they misaligned the cap with the valve stems on all four tires, causing them to be bent and nearly breaking one. Their customer service is completely terrible, no one cares about doing their job correctly, let alone doing it well.

Brought a flat in around 10am. They werent able to fix it Because the nail was on the outer edge. Needed a new tire on the rim. Said he would text when it was ready, didnt give me a time but they had told the last people around 2 hours so I figured 3 to be safe. Never received a text or phone call saying the tire was ready.Called after 4pm said the tire was ready, no explanation as to why I didnt get a phone call. Showed up to get it after 5 and was told no one had even worked on it yet!! Only saving grace is they had out to me in 7 minutes after I was told that.Barely got an apology from one person and nothing from anyone else. Ive always had decent service from this location but definitely not today.
