Jordan was so patient and wonderful to work with. When I felt that the shade was too dark on my face she kept going back for the next lighter shade up until I was happy. Jordan is professional and polite, yet friendly and helpful . It was a pleasure to work with her on my new line of make-up. I am very happy with my new look. Thank you Jordan! :)
My visit at Sephora was wonderful. Hailey was AWESOME! She found the perfect concealer and did a light makeup application for me. She was able to multitask by doing my face and attending to the other customers in the store. Thumbs up for a great experience at Sephora Hailey:)
I rarely buy from Sephora unless for fenty products. It’s a hit and miss with how the customer service is. Can be rude sometimes but on this visit they were very helpful
The girl with the pink hair (I dont know her name) she was so helpful and really easy to talk too. I feel so comfortable when she was doing my makeup and showing me different shades of foundation when I didnt know my color. Love it there!!!

I have never shopped at Sephora until recently I decided that I need a good place to shop for makeup. I use to be an Ulta customer until I didnt appreciate their so called customer service skills. I switched to Sephora with high Hopes! I recieved an email saying since it was my birthday month, I get a birthday gift when i go to their location. There was only 2 people working, one at the cash register and the other was walking around looking unhappy. I asked where i go to get the birthdat item, she said at the cash register. I stood in front of the cash register for over 5 minutes until the same girl helped out on cash, I was about to walk up to her until a guy ran in front of me and she had no problem helping him instead of telling him that I was next in line! When it was finally my turn, she showed me my options. I asked what does she think is a good choice (Im a mom and havent been serious with makeup in years, I wanted an honest helpful opinion), she said thats not up to me to decide for you! That was extremely rude! Both girls at the cash registers were so rude to a point I felt belittled. When my husband and I walked out, first thing he said was no wonder they are always on YouTube for worst services! Looks like I wont be considering Sephora as my go to for makeup anymore....

I dont usually shop here but when i do, i love watching the beautiful girls try their best to cram their faces into the mold society has formed while older women try to scrape away the natural withering of youth as they splurge their unfaithful husbands credit cards on exotic creams tested on dying rodents.

Discriminatory and unprofessional are the words that best express my last visit to the Sephora inside JCP in Sterling Heights. I went in to return a few products and Jessica was the one assisting me, one of the products was an eyeshadow palette, I was asked why I wanted to return it and I told her I didn’t like how it blends, she then proceeded to talk very condescending towards me asking how I blend and telling me how I should do it, I’m assuming it was because I’m young and barely had any makeup on that day. After she pulled it all up under my account she told me I would not be able to return the items since it was just over the 60 days. I was unaware of the new return policy so I looked it up to familiarize myself with it. To my surprise it stated on both the JCP and Sephora website that if it’s over 60 days I can get an in store credit as long as they can verify the payment, which they were able to verify under my Sephora account. I went back up to the counter and spoke to Jessica again and showed her on the website where it stated I could return for a store credit and she immediately started looking through papers trying to find a copy of the return policy. She was unable to find it at first and told me she would honor it this one time, even though it’s clearly stated on the JCP and Sephora website. She then found her copy she had in store and it states:“In order to obtain a refund in the same form of payment as your purchase was made, Sephora merchandise must be returned within 60 days of the purchase date with a sales receipt. If you do not have your receipt, we may be able to verify your transaction if you present your credit or debit card use, or by your Beauty Insider account. If you do not have your receipt or if we are not able to verify your transaction via your credit or debit or Beauty Insider account, we will not be able to process your return.”It states no where on the paper she gave me that I cannot return for a store credit over 60 days. After she handed that to me she decided she wanted to call corporate to see if they were ok with it after she told me she would honor it for me. She said they said no but with her condescending and judgmental demeanor I’m not sure if that was the truth. After a bit of back and forth she handed my returns back to me and basically told me tough luck. Maybe if I didn’t have colored hair, piercings, and if I had makeup on and was rouge status I would’ve been treated differently.
Today is my engagement photos, my fiancé had an appointment with the sephora at somerset at mall. When she had arrived they told her that they had double booked a 10:00 a.m. appointment and they werent going to help her. I called and spoke with Tiffany at the lakeside location who has great customer service and agreed to get us in in the emergency situation that we are having and we couldnt be happier! Great customer service and thank you for talking care of us!
