I replaced the carpet in the whole house. To schedule the appointment was easy, they showed up on time and worked really hard through the day.When moving furniture, they took care not to scratch anything and the installation was done fast and with good quality. I would give them 6 stars if I could.Megan followed up to make sure everything is good with the installation which I appreciate.I am extremely satisfied

I purchased carpet through Home Depot and they paired me with AIS as the installers. The whole process was so easy! Rosa from AIS coordinated the install date and contacted me after the carpet was installed. Communication was fast and very responsive. The three installers showed up on time and were very professional, friendly, and courteous. They did a quality job and I was very impressed with the final result. They cleaned up the rooms and put my furniture back in place. Whole job took less than three hours to carpet three rooms and a hallway. 5 out of 5 stars. Highly recommend AIS!

I just had my carpets installed after ordering fromm Home Depot. Amber Silk was amazing and responded with answers to any questions I had. We did three bedrooms and a living room and they look better then we hoped for. We had a few obstacles (a built in shelf) we were worried about but the were able to take care of it and make it look great. I definitely recommend them. They measured it to being about 820 square feet and finished in four hours.

This is the MOST inconsiderate, irresponsible, and incompetent company I have dealt with in my entire life. Yes, it is literally that bad! I highly recommend that use you ANY company but AIS. The 1 rating is too high. They are more like a minus 5. After paying in full for an install the first week in August. We received an installation date of October 14, 2021. They called a day before our install date stating the installer had an emergency and would not be able to install after weeks of waiting. My first thought as a human being is okay life happens. My immediate question, when is our next appointment scheduled? We were unapologetically told December 8, 2021. They refused to accommodate or adjust with an earlier appointment despite AIS canceling on us. As a result, all of our other renovations are on hold and our worked schedules out of whack. So, long and good bye to hosting Thanksgiving. They were rude and had an oh well type of attitude. Spend your money and time with a company that value and respect you as a customer as well as your time and money.

First and foremost, The managing of the project was superior to any service provider I have had in the past. This was lead by Megan from scheduling of installation to following up post install.The individuals who came out to work on the project came to work and got the job done professionally and proficiently! On time, on point, courteous, and just all around friendly people! I will defiantly be letting the referring company (Home Depot) to use their service as an example.Couldn’t be more pleased! THANKS

I contracted them through Home Depot to install penny tile back splash. First, the initial installer failed to show up the first day. Then, they send the second installer who did an extremely poor job installing the tile (cutting some short, tiling over electrical plugs, and missing penny tile for some) and I could have done a better job with the grouting. Several areas missing, clumped in the corner or the best part was when the electrical outlets were grouted over the outlet itself making it unsafe to use. I arranged for the installer to come back they next week having a family member take another two days off to accommodate the repair only to be told I need to reschedule the first day and the second day was Im running behind can we reschedule a little later or another day. My response was today. That was 40 minutes after our scheduled time. A text message was received at 6:48 pm (almost 4 hours after our scheduled time) stating that the installer still have another hour of work at the other job before heading my way. That meant it wouldnt be until approximately 8 pm before you arrive to my home before you can start to repair the mistakes that took you 8 hours before. No were done! Then, to be told I have to allow her to come back and fix her mistakes by the service manager its the law. I gave her the opportunity TWICE!!! I not only had to find someone else to repair their mistakes with the back splash but hire an electrician to fix my electrical outlets. I WILL NEVER recommend your company for service. I will say that the ladies in the office were extremely pleasant during this fiasco. So, ladies thank you!

Im very pleased with the service I received from AIS carpet installation out of Grayling, MI. I cant imagine that any other installer would have done better than the crew who installed my carpet from Home Depot. They were courteous, professional, and efficient. They contacted me quickly to set up installation and kept in touch with me throughout the process. Amber Silk was a delight to work with while going through this process. If you are apprehensive about buying carpet from Home Depot, just know that AIS is a top notch installer for them. I am very happy with my purchase.

Unfortunately, we were also victims of the sloppy, poor quality carpet installations provided by this company. After months of waiting, despite being told by Amber Silk that a supervisor would call, I am now told that the same sullen, angry installer (who showed up late) who did a poor job must be allowed back in my home to fix his mistakes. Also, please note that despite the lip-service paid by this company, their contractors DO NOT and WILL NOT wear a mask, social distance or take a single protective measure despite the COVID pandemic.In the corners of our rooms, the carpet was pushed up into the corners and stapled to the baseboards. Home Depot will assure you that the contractors provide transitions, but the installer will tell you that they do not so you will end up with lots of loose, sloppy edges unless you already have some transitions hanging around for them to use. Had we been told this, we would have gone and purchased some.The installer literally snuck out of our house when he was finished without asking us to inspect his work and without putting our furniture back (which is part of the service agreement from Home Depot). We didnt even realize that he was done or gone for quite some time, although my husband had been kind enough to inflate the flat tires on the work van.I will never purchase from Home Depot again, lest I get this shoddy company back in my house. As requested by this company, I am reviewing their services and specifically mentioning Ambers name so that I can be entered into the gift card drawing. Winning that might help me pay for another installer to come fix this hot mess.

I’m Home Depot loyal and have 8 flip homes. My Michigan experience with the entire team was tremendous. Amber who scheduled and coordinated everything was wonderful. The teams who came to install my flooring, followed by carpet were talented, courteous, thorough and professional. This experience will keep me Home Depot exclusive!

Customer service was great! The calls to keep me informed (my carpet was on backorder) was really appreciated. They also did proactive scheduling so I didnt have to wait longer for install. The installers brought materials in and kept other floors clean on there way too and from rooms as well as cleaned up nicely after the install.Thanks Megan and team!

Bought carpet from Home Depot and installer didn’t show up the first day. The second day, they said my carpet was damaged. The third attempt, the installer was supposed to be at my house for his first job in the morning. He was assigned a different job and didn’t show up. Finally, on the fourth attempt and 4 days off of work waiting for them, the carpet got installed. Home Depot should seriously reconsider who they contract their work to.

Bought carpet through Home Depot and AIS was the chosen installer. Had a couple rooms scheduled to be re-carpeted. Scheduling was easy, but a miscommunication occurred between Home Depot and AIS regarding the amount of material needed to carpet the rooms. The installers who showed up blamed my wife and I for the miscommunication and did not finish either room as a result of it. My wife tried calling the company to ask the installers to come back to help fix the issues between the two companies, but it was after hours when they left, so the office was closed. She also called Home Depot on multiple lines, but no luck there, either. The installers didnt bother giving a contact number for Home Depot, calling Home Depot before they started the installation to sort out the issue themselves, and left the job unfinished. Now I have mismatched carpeting in one room and extra material from my other room that shouldve been used to finish the carpeting. Please dont send those two installers to my house again. Their customer service skills need SO much work.

I just had two whole rooms re-carpeted and the installers from AIS Carpet Outlet were on-time, friendly, hard-working, and overall professional. They treated my house as if it was their own and left the rooms in better condition than before they arrived. The carpet was measured, cut, and installed perfectly. I will certainly use AIS again in the future and recommend their carpet services to family and friends.Also, special thanks to Amber for helping me arrange the installation around my busy schedule.

The hard floor scheduler is by far the worst employee. She needs to be removed from this department and put into something non-customer facing. The contractors that did our flooring install were AMAZING however, the lady that does the scheduling for the company had no idea what she was doing, she was very rude and continued to tell me she was going to do things and never followed through. It is at the point now where I need to pursue legal action because she refuses to answer my calls, the manager has yet to call me back and I continue to get forwarded to voicemail boxes. DO NOT use this company. I have been trying to have them come out and finish the job since MAY. I have trip hazards and a nail sticking out with small kids and the company could care less. Home Depot needs to strongly consider using another company as I will be going else where because I refuse to work with AIS ever again!

It all started with the customer service given by Bianca Gray. Very courteous and polite. Was quoted to have installation in March but was called because of a cancellation six weeks early! She was one of the most friendly people I’ve ever dealt with over the phone. Now to the installers. Wonderful job! Very clean and professional. I couldn’t of asked for a better experience. I ordered a stair runner through Home Depot and AIS was very responsive from the time I bought my carpet. They kept me up to date on install time and date. Matt was our installer, and he called first thing in the morning to let me know his schedule and ETA. And then followed up when he was 20 minutes out. He was very polite, and professional and offered great advice on the install and design of the install. He even protected the carpet outside when he rolled it out to cut. He was done in less than two hours, and even cleaned up/vacuumed before he left. I would absolutely give another carpet job to Matt and AIS!

I agree with Fred. WORST COMPANY! I also got stuck with them when I purchased Hone Depot carpeting. The first time they came to install, it couldn’t be done because the measure and order missed one of the bedrooms. We got it straightened out, re-ordered, they came to install, walked into my house, went up stairs to the owner’s suite, took pictures and walked out. Didn’t tell my mom or my daughter they were leaving, just walked out. I received a call from AIS telling me I had to reschedule because my house wasn’t ready. I was carpeting five rooms, a hallway and stairs. They look at one room and tell me it’s not ready?! Home Depot and I had a lengthy discussion, one of my requests was that different people come out to do the install. They showed up at my house again to do the install. One of the people profusely denied being there the second time, although I’m pretty sure he was there all three times. They finished the install, took one of my register covers. Also left me with a very uneasy feeling the whole time they were in my house. I’m waiting for something to crawl out of the heating ducts. Overall not worth the aggravation. Find your own installer, but stay away from this company.

AIS was great to work with. I had about 2,000 Sqft of carpet installed over 2 days and the team at AIS was great to work with. My original install date was missed due to an issue with the carpet. Luckily the lead installer, Jeremy, caught it before they started any work. Amber Silk at AIS was quick to get replacement carpet ordered and rescheduled install. The same guys came out and knocked out the job over 2 days that included multiple rooms and stairs. These guys were great. Clean, responsive, and professional. Ive always had these installers when purchasing carpet from Home Depot and they are very good. However, this time we purchased carpet beginning October and have had a terrible experience with scheduling. Our carpet now will not be installed until December 11, 2020. The measurer could not speak to well and we could not understand him. I told him no carpet in closets, no molding at doorways. The quote came back several hundred $$$ higher than original quote. They could not accommodate me for a daylight measure as I have night blindness and cannot drive at night. They finally did. We had a power outage and now, they cannot get us installed until mid December. They are not very accommodating and dont work well with customer service. I would not recommend this company if you are outside of the local area.

Right now my house is turned upside down waiting for the installers. I got one call on Saturday to make sure my flooring was in the house. Here it is 11:00 Monday, no call, no nothing. Waiting, waiting.........not impressed at all. Home Depot couldnt even get in touch with them - they got voice mail.

Exceptional customer service. They communicated with us several times and days leading up to our installation to ensure we were aware of all the details. We ordered carpet for my grandparents as a Christmas gift. It took awhile to get in and have a appointment for install but when the day came they came and started the carpet they noticed some bad spot in the floor. They reschedule to lay the carpet acouple days later allowing us to fix the floors. They came back and installed the carpet. Even with a tool breaking they made a quick run to get a replacement and finished the job. Yeni did a great job my grandparents are very happy with the work! Thank you again homedepot and Yeni!

Worst installer Ive ever dealt with, they dont show on time, not responsive and rude customer support. I worked with them through home depot to install both carpet and laminate floors. I had many issues with my installation and bad quality.I had an appointment planned with them to come and fix issues from their previous installation, I was expecting to receive a call from them in the morning between 8 and 10 am to confirm when they will arrive, but they never called. I called their office 7 times just to try to know when the installer will arrive, but they were not able to know this info nor contact the installer to know if he should come.They totally wasted my time as it has always been the case with AIS.  They dont care about their customers and their time, for me, they are far away from being a professional service provider and they have earned my one star rating zero if possible and my advice to all my friends not to deal with such a company.

AIS installed all of our new flooring upstairs and everything turned out perfect. The installers were quick and very professional. Amber was amazing as well.

We just had our Home Depot Vinyl Lifeproof flooring installed by AIS last week. Amber in the office did a great job of coordinating the work. The two gentlemen they sent over for the install were on time and finished a day early. They also problem solved with some issues with our flooring and ended up saving me money by not using expensive parts that would not work well for our situation.

They were very responsive to our needs and situation. Amber Silk checked in with us before the install and after and the install team accepted and was responsive to our phone calls and requests. AIS Installation was an outstanding partner with Home Depot in my carpet purchase and install. They were unfailingly considerate, concerned and helpful every step of the way -- including during the installation itself. Their communications, led by Amber, were well-timed, practical and helpful. Questions on two separate occasions were answered fully and immediately. The installation team was cordial, polite and efficient. Their finished product was flawless. Bottom line, excellence from beginning to end.

We ordered over 2500 square ft of carpet from Home Depot. AIS installed it. It was supposed to be a two day job but the three man team that came was so fast and efficient, they got it done in one day. They were a joy to be around! Everything went better than we could have hoped for! Jordan you have a great group of guys working for you!

I received a call from Amber regarding my carpet installation, me thinking it was going to be cancelled because of Covid 19 was almost scared to answer the phone. To my delight it was actually to get it scheduled earlier because of a cancelation. The only concern with this that I had was that I was told I would recieve a call from the installers between 7-8 am .. I waited until around 9 to get the call. No worries, they showed up and got straight to work. Im pleased with the work that was done Chris and Tyler did great and answered the very few questions I had.

I ordered carpet from Home Depot and had the privilege of working with AIS with the installation process. Amber was incredibly helpful in setting up a date and time for install, and Nathan did an incredible job doing the install. They were punctual, very polite, and cleaned up when they were done. Ordered carpet through Home Depot and was installed by AIS. AIS did a good job of communicating throughout the process; Home Depot was so-so. My original order had a defect, and the installation had to be rescheduled. (Not the fault of AIS or Home Depot, but certainly less than ideal.) I was left in the dark a little longer than I would have liked, while I waited for replacement material, but once it came in, installation was prompt and professional- I really enjoyed chatting with the two installers as they wrapped up!Overall, the installation was of very high quality. One transition needed touch-up after the fact (more on that,) and there was some scuffing on some areas of trim (avoidable) and indentations in the drywall up my stairs (probably inevitable.) I was told when I placed my order that I would have a visible seam in one bedroom; I cannot see it at all, so kudos to the installers for doing an incredible job concealing that seam!The installers gave valuable information about how to care for the carpet, and helped me understand what to expect from the next couple weeks as the carpet wore in, as well as how to best protect the carpet.There were significant loose fibers at a one of our doorway transitions after our initial vacuuming. I emailed AIS customer care over a weekend, and received a prompt response from the director of operations that someone would be dispatched to fix it. Unfortunately, I did not receive a response by Wednesday and emailed back in for an update. I then promptly received a call and scheduled for that Saturday. No one showed- which was fine, we were moving in that day. A couple calls back and forth, and we got a technician to fix the fibers Thursday of that week. 1.5 weeks turnaround isnt the worst for the minor touch-up, but was a little more convoluted than was probably necessary.Overall, happy with the product, happy with the installation, and OK with the process. It really is a tremendous value overall, and would recommend having AIS install your Home Depot order.

The carpet installers stole. Went thru my dresser. Ruined things by not being careful. Then they sent someone to lay floor in bathroom who didn’t know what he was doing & didn’t install toilet right. It’s been leaking under my floor for 10 months. Starting seeping thru cracks. It’s taken over a month of notice & still haven’t received help

When I set up my carpet install through Home Depot (They were the cheapest) they advised me there was a large chance my carpet was not going to make it in by the install date I wanted. I ordered anyway and AIS called me in less than 24 hours and told me my carpet was in and they could meet my install date. They arrived on time and the two gentleman that did my install were friendly and quick. From arrival time to completion was just over an hour. My carpet looks great and they did a fantastic job. Any questions I had or little requests I had they took care of. Yeni and the entire AIS team did an amazing job and I will highly recommend them to anyone looking for services.

Not once did I have to wonder or worry. The installation team were so fun! I enjoyed having them in my house for the afternoon. It was a quick in and out and I am in love with my new carpet. Ordered carpet from Home Depot and installation was conducted through AIS installation. They were highly professional and Amber helped expedite things by letting us know when the carpet arrived earlier than expected. They offered earlier installation if we so wanted. (Which we did!)Randy, our installer, went over the warranty information and provided us with numbers to call if there were any problems in the future. Their professionalism helps me feel 100% confident and satisfied in our choice.

They never answer the phone. you wait on hold for 20+ minutes to get an answering machine, and then they never call you back. I have been waiting weeks. Put my order in mid July. Amber is absolutely horrible to speak with.

We ordered our carpet from the Home Depot and AIS arranged the install. Our first installer called at the last minute to cancel due to car trouble and since we had both taken the day off of work, we were very upset. We were able to get in touch with Amber Silk and she went above and beyond to arrange an installer on a weekend. Although it wasnt a smooth, easy process, it was very quickly resolved and we greatly appreciate the fact that our situation was taken care of so quickly. Amber managed to assemble a great crew who did a fantastic job with the carpet install.

Had an unbelievably bad experience with AIS, the company Home Depot contracted to install my carpet. They failed to show up THREE TIMES. I lost a full day of work and countless hours trying to coordinate the install.The installation was scheduled for an afternoon. I took a half a day off work, and they never showed up, and never called me. I spoke with AIS the next day, and they said the installer could not get there due to snow. Somehow everyone else was able to get around, but they were not? And they couldnt call?We rescheduled for another morning, and I said I would have to leave by noon. AIS said no problem, Id be the first stop. They did not show up early, so I got nervous and started called them. They said someone would be out at 12:30! After arguing, I said I needed to go to work and that if they showed up at 12:30 nobody would be there. 12:30 roles around, and the installer is at my house wondering where I am.The installer asks if he can come later. I said Id give them one more chance that evening. They didnt show up on time again so I cancelled the order.You just cant make this stuff up.

They were chosen as the installer of carpet I purchased from Home Depot. There was some miscommunication from the initial installation date but issue was resolved and actual installation was satisfactory. Thank you Amber for your help.

The carpet looks great! BUT it took them 5 weeks to tell me they would not install my sheet vinal after they had me do prep work, came did a sight inspection and schedule it to be laid. Then because they cancel half my order, bump my install to a Sunday and over book the guys that came. They came at 9:15pm on a Sunday night to install 3 bedrooms and a hallway.They get one star because the four men they sent did an amazing job and were able to get everything installed in less than 3 hours.

Even during a global pandemic, Amber and her team were professional, punctual and left me with a beautiful floor. Thank you so much!

The installers were incompetent, lazy, slobs. Their lack of professionalism has set the project back two weeks. Lack of communication between installers and the AIS home office is unacceptable. Blamed the home owner, yes they called him, and the contractor for their failure. Unacceptable

We ordered carpeting for our whole house through Home Depot. AIS coordinated and completed the measurement, ordering and installation of our project. Amber Silk was excellent to work with and she was very attentive to my concerns regarding the vehicle the men would need to tackle our icy and snowy drive. She was timely getting our installation on the calendar ASAP. The two different ladies I spoke with at AIS when I placed the final orders were so sweet and professional. They really took the time to discuss our project with me and even knew a lot about the specific carpeting. I was so impressed!! Rich and Steve showed up on time and were a dream come true to work with. I have never seen two harder working contractors in my entire life!! They worked their fingers and bodies to the bone and our huge project took only two days!! They were so pleasant to have in our home and left it as clean and orderly as can be! If I could give AIS and their team 10 stars, I would!!

AIS did a wonderful job of installing our carpet. Our installation date was delayed because of the Covid19 shut down but Amber did a great job of keeping us informed and updating our installation date. I would definitely recommend them for your installation projects.

We bought carpet from Home depot and AIS took care of the installation. Home depot said 7-10 days for the carpet to come in. I was antsy on day seven and messaged them to check. They responded quickly. Amber was awesome and called to set up the instlation 10 minutes later. SHE had us scheduled for two days later. They were quick, friendly, helpful and provided quality instlation.I would definitely have them do work for us a again.
