I submitted a request for a fence to be installed in my back yard thru Home Depot over 3 1/2 weeks ago and today they call and want to give me an estimate? Sorry, AIS, but I already booked my 12k job with Lowe’s 2 weeks ago after waiting on your sloth like response. I guess you don’t need my money.

We are EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED with the fence we bought at The Home Depot / AIS!During installation they ruined our lawn and severed the water lines to two underground sprinklers. I understand this happens, but they did not tell us and we didn’t know until we had the irrigation winterized. We had to pay for the repairs and the fencing company refused to reimburse us.Also, during the installation they did significant damage to our lawn. There was an obscene amount of dirt they left on our lawn… piles of dirt. They refused to do any dirt removal and we had to pay another company for that too. All of our new sod under the piles of dirt were ruined. After we ordered the fence, it looks months for installation. Once it was installed they forgot to bring the post toppers, so they had to come back to add those. The fence materials are EXTREMELY flimsy. I can’t believe that a fence of such sub-par materials would cost that much.We would definitely NOT recommend buying a fence from The Home Depot / AIS!

Had vinyl plank installed one day and carpet another. The entire process was smooth and I even had to reschedule once, with no issue at all. They followed up to make sure everything was done to my liking. The installers did amazing work and made sure I understood what they were doing and how it would work. I cant say enough good words about the people who work here.

Had some carpet installed through Home Depot. These guys were great...I believe it was foreman Chris and helper Kevin. Professional, friendly and took pride in their work. It took them 7-8 hours and all they took was a 10 minute break all day. Very happy, thanks!

If I could give them zero stars I would. They were rude and short on the telephone. When working with Home Depot, they kept referring to AIS and that our questions had to be answered by them. Then AIS would tell me Home Depot had to answer them. I stayed home to wait for the installation of a new kitchen floor. I called at 10:30 AM to find out where the installer was - oh his van broke down he isnt coming. They couldnt call to let me know? The installers who came the next day were friendly and worked hard. I would give the job though a B+ as I am finding dips in the floor and one section of the vinyl plank is poking up. But, I am so over these people I am not calling them back. Run, dont walk away from these folks. Go down the street to Lowes if this is the only installer company Home Depot uses.

The man who installed our floor did a good job and was pleasant, but AIS is an irresponsible company, with rude customer service people! I ordered our flooring in June, it wasnt installed until August, then the installation was incomplete because the transition strips were the wrong kind. The man said he ordered the correct ones and they would be installed in a couple weeks. A month went by, I called, no word from anyone. Finally they called (in September), made an appointment, didnt show up. I called all day, three time to AIS, twice to Home Depot. No call, no show! And the girl who answered the phone in the AIS hardwood flooring department was rude the entire time. Five days later they still havent come, and Home Depot just called me to tell me I have to come to the store to pick up the strips!! TERRIBLE SERVICE!! Never again!

If I could give zero stars I would. NEVER use this scum of a company. I had an installation scheduled and they arrived 1 hour earlier than the early time of their window and left after waiting 20 minutes. I arrived 20 minutes before the time only to find a reschedule note. Never buy anything from Home Depot who contracts this company which should be put out of business.

Going to add my own one star experience here. Filled out Home Depots online request for fencing installation. Received a call from Anderson Installations a couple days later. They stated that my project would likely fall under a $2000 minimum for parts and labor and they would be unable to do the project. She stated they could still send someone out but wanted to make me aware. Home Depot needs to revoke whatever arrangement they have with this company. I wouldnt have even wasted my time if my project was too small for them to do. Looks like from the reviews I dodged a bullet.

If I could give them negative stars, I would. I want to warn everyone not to use this company. It took them two years to complete a 12 by 10 deck. The estimator gave me a good price on installation and showed what the materials would cost. He was only off by about $2,000. They showed up at random times and then demanded the rest of their money when they thought they were finished. A novice handyman could have done a better job. Then they turned me over to a collection agency even though they were not finished. I gave them a 30 item punch list about 5 different times. They sent someone out once and they fixed 3 things on the punch list and thought they were done. Finally came out and finished the job a month ago with there best deck people. Those people left the company because of all the problems in the office. They couldnt believe how bad the job was done. They fixed everything the way it should have been done in the first place. A 2 day job took almost 2 years. Lesson learned, I will never use Anderson or Home Depot installation services again.

This company was sub contracted by Home Depot to do carpet and laminate flooring. After having to wait three weeks once materials arrived to have them install they finally came. Laminate guys were fine, but the carpet is a disaster. Not only did they not call between 8-9 AM like they said, I had to call them to find out what was going on at 10:30AM because nobody had called to let us know when they would arrive. A guy finally shows up who isnt a normal installer at 5:30 PM and doesnt leave until 9:30PM, installs wet, grease stained carpet in my Unborn childs bedroom(Due in a week, which he apparently wont have a bedroom to sleep in because of this companies negligence). At first glance, the guy tried to blame it on the door he had taken off that it marked the carpet, but that was proven wrong when we showed him numerous fresh grease spots and no marks on our door. The other room with carpet installed has areas off the tack strip, an extra seem at one of the doorways because it was measured incorrectly and isnt even tucked underneath the strip in the doorway that the Laminate installer advised would happen once the carpet guys came. If the guy didnt know how to install carpet he shouldnt have done it. I now have a wife due in a week and no where to put the babys crib, changing table, clothes etc because this hackjob of a company cannot do what they are paid to do and install Carpet!. Please do yourself a favor and stay away from this awful company. Complete garbage service. Also, do not have HOME DEPOT install anything they will screw it up & hire untrained hacks like ANDERSONs INSTALLATION

Long story short we ended up waiting almost THREE months for our fence, we were charged almost $2000 more than our estimate because the sales person (Mr. Lovelady) Andersons sends out is incapable of simple math (he added up his own measurements incorrectly), they cut the power lines to our house (that were clearly marked), they don’t use any concrete, levels, or measuring tapes. Out of THREE gates only ONE closes correctly without getting hung up on something. The product isn’t worth a dime! I do NOT blame the Home Depot. I blame ANDERSON. Home Depot needs to change who they outsource to. DO NOT USE ANDERSON

Absolutely horrible service. I cant believe Home Depot contracts with them. We set up a carpet installation, were told it would be done in one day, and that we would hear from them between 8 and 10am the day of to let us know when they were coming. 11:30 rolls around, still nothing. They finally show up and say they cant do it because they have another job to go to and we have too much furniture, when it specifically says in our contract that they will move furniture. We had already taken 90% of our belongings outside and disassembled our beds, and now we are being told they cant come back until next week.

Dealing with Andersons Installation is a nightmare I have yet to wake up from. They sucked me in with their super-cheap fencing estimate, which should have been my first hint. After putting down a $1,000 deposit, our permit request was denied and I was told that Andersons filled out forms incorrectly, submitted inadequate drawings, etc. The fence drawing they submitted to our city looked like a 5-year-old had drawn it.The permit supervisor told me he REGULARLY rejects permit requests from Andersons due to similar issues of incompetence. Now I am just trying to back out of the deal with whatever is left of my deposit. Surprise, surprise - I cant seem to get a returned phone call. I have been calling for three days with no response.DO NOT, DO NOT, DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY.

Absolute worst company ever. They dont do what they say, didnt show up on time... waited 2 months to have a fence installed and they called today to schedule an appointment for installation hen I asked for the day off of work because the previous rep said this would be the day they install it.This company is by far the worst company Ive ever dealt with my entire life. Ive had fences put up on many locations, never had to deal with this before. Oh, and they overcharge. Home Depot really messed up when they decided to use them.

This company has no idea what they are doing when it comes to fence installations or even basic follow up. What was to take a day ½ turned into two weeks of excuses. One delay after another and I had to coordinate all the calls with the city. I have no idea why Home Depot uses them as a subcontractor, if you get them demand a NEW company this one is not worth it.
