You definitely get what you pay for. I bought a bag of frozen fruit and found a frozen SNAIL in the bag!! It was my first time purchasing food from here too and was disappointed overall. I couldn’t even contact the store to tell them, their phone is set up with an automated voice message. horrible customer service, disgusting find.

The staff is fast and helpful. The cost is lower because you bag your own groceries and rent a cart. They have organic produce and products for reasonable prices and carry interesting seasonal items.

We love Love LOVE Aldi! Hands down the best value anywhere around for grocery staples - plus lots of super interesting European/international goods. Closest thing to Trader Joes our small community will ever see (and the two chains used to have common ownership). My only complaint is that - last I checked - the company doesnt offer stock options. I would buy shares in a heartbeat because I truly believe this store is destined to speak y across the US.

Ive shopped at Aldi for many years, very happy with the store. Workers are not always the friendliest, some of the people whove been there the longest are the least friendly. Food selection, quality and prices are very good. Theyve had some great special buys and I like their specialty dark chocolate better than expensive name brands.

Small, but large grocery store. Selection is okay - you can stop here if you have to shop for your family and check off half of your list for 3/4 of the price, but wont be able to find the other half of your items. Mostly food focused, but some household items. Its not the best at everything, but what they do accomplish is great.

They have lots of unique foods and great prices. Their fruits, meats, and veggies are quality. Great people too.

Aldi is a great store for fresh veggies and fruit. Also have lots of organic items, so my favorite store for sure.

So today I went to this Aldi because generally they’re well stocked. RIGHT as I walked in there was an associate with blue hair was pulling one of their big carts, I’m assuming unloading truck (I used to work grocer retail). I quickly step around them since they seemed busy but they cut me off and impatiently told me “I’m going to need ALL this aisle” and waved their hand so frantically they actually hit me. Like flat out whacked me. I get that it was an accident but they didn’t even apologize. I was so shocked, and my husband was ready to step in but I just hurried back to my family and waited for them to move. Clearly they can work on their customer service skills and honestly, probably could’ve waited a moment. This was the main aisle entrance to the store and I wasn’t the only one walking through but I was apparently the only one in their way. There have been other times where associates checking us out rush through our order so fast they literally toss and throw our order, which seems to be an Aldi thing. However, at least the last two times I’ve come in we get a nice cashier (didn’t catch his name) who is always really amicable. I will be coming back but at this point I feel it’s a hit or miss with customer service...

Great produce and returns if you manage to pickup something rotten.

Tried the online orders just today (Oct10) for pick up and was very pleased. They were fast and courteous, with great social distancing and mask usage.

You cant social distance when you walk in the door because everyone is stacked picking the fresh vegetables and fruit.

When you visit all always be sure to have your carry bag with you for whatever items you pick up. At off or odd times its a place you can get in and get out of fairly fast and they have usually organized stock. They have plenty of business so everything is usually fresh.

Had 2 negative experiences in the past month in Stevens Point. Older lady, short hair with glasses refused to give me their Twice as Nice guarantee which means money back and an exchange of product. Had to get a manager twice so I could actually take advantage of their twice as nice guarantee. Ridiculous, but Ill be back for that twice as nice guarantee again. ;)

During the afternoon today in line there was a Grandma with her hands clearly full with her Grandson, and she was treated poorly by a staff member. The young women working as the cashier spoke very rudely as she told the customer to put her stuff on the belt. Justifying her demand with attitude. I thought about walking out of the line and out of the store right there. Very unnecessary to speak to customers like they are an inconvenience, there are a lot of ways to respectfully communicate. I can not get behind poor customer service. Times are hard enough as is for people, be kind.

So I bought some sugar at Aldis in Stevens point and when I opened the bag and dumped it into a container there was maggots in it. I have been buying sugar from there for years but I want anymore.

Theres random floor tiles throughout the store that are loose and trippy. One time I came in an hour before closing and the worker was cleaning the floors with the big machine despite over 30 people in the store and it was really weird because everyone kept having to move to let her clean up and down the aisles even though it was really busy. But the store is always really clean and the employees seem really nice.

I really like Aldi and shop there as often as possible. There are only a couple of items I wont purchase there. Ghee I one of them. Asparagus, and green onions are the same. Their meats are very good and I shop other only if I have a gift card or it is something Aldi does not carry

Love this place too! We buy certain foods here (pizzas, frozen chicken, cereal) all the time. The fruits and vegetables are sometimes suspect though. They always seem to go bad VERY fast. I think thought that this may be because they are going 100% organic, not sure. Some meats are good, some not so much.

Aldi is a nice place to get some very good deals on house brand grocery items, wines, frozen goods, and a variety of other merchandise. You wont fine every item on your shopping list at Aldi, but if you dont mine using their house brands, youll find many good deals on quality products!

Its ok, not my type of place to go to but I know a lot of friends who love that place.

Wellll the one item I really went for and needed was split peas and you did not have them. My last time in the store, the primary item that I needed(barbque sauce) you also did not have. It is discouraging. I feel if I NEED a certain item that I should just begin at a different store.

Clean store carts were wiped down not very crowded

The only issue is that you need to remember to have a quarter on you if you want to use a cart & you need your own bags or buy bags from them. There has been days Ive gone to a different store after work because I didnt want to go home just for grocery bags. But the prices are good so I definitely wouldnt write this store off! Never had a problem with staff or cleanliness either.

Its a great place for bargain shopping. The frozen pizza is the best frozen pizza out there. The food and produce is pretty darn good as well. They also offer name brands and micro brews.

Stevens point has more veriety in my opinion as well as alcohol. Thou the Waupaca location is far less crowded and better for in and out shopping.
