Staff is amazing, for real some of the nicest of any youll find in Stevens Point. Their meat department guys rock, theyve literally special-made things for me they dont even always or normally carry (meat & cheese trays, kabobs, pre-cut fruit trays, etc.). Theyre extremely accommodating, so if you dont see something you need, just ask them! Their sodas are ALWAYS cheaper than any other store, and you cant beat their meat prices. The cashiers are always super nice and helpful too! All around awesome :)

This is a great grocery store! I like that its smaller than the big chain stores. Its nice that you dont need to walk a mile across the store just to get to the milk. Best rotisserie chicken in town.

Sometimes you can get good deals but those are usually meat that are close to expiring so just make sure youre cooking same day.

Clean, usually stocked. Great staff, except for 2 members that seem to find a way to be off putting and rude. One of them left in the middle of checking me out to help someone find something, after yelling across the front of the store to see what the customer wanted. The customer had just walked into the store and did not ask for help either.The other is always gossiping about customers and coworkers to other customers and employees.

I went and overspent like I knew I was. Lots of new items for me to try. I liked that they had lots of diabetic sugar free drinks to consume. The only item that they said they had, was not there. 1/4lb Bar-S hotdogs. They were my last hope. Maybe after winter they will restock them. Its so hard to find them anywhere in Central Wisconsin. Anyways, service was great, bathroom was clean and the handicap scooter was actually charged. My back thanks them totally!!! Value savings for sure. When on a budget, hit this place up for sure!!!

Save-A-Lot is like the discount store for name brand products at a lower price than most of your name brand stores as far as three eggs and cops and Piggly Wiggly top quality in food products such as dry good Amy top quality and me at a very reasonable price

I really detest that I have to put a negative review here, because the prices and the food are incredible. The staff is wonderful except for one employee. Theres one particular manager here, (the obese one I dont know her name) who goes out of her way to make my trips inconvenient. (pushing their restocking cart directly in my way, closing her register once she sees me in line) Ive been able to deal with it but just barely, this last time I was there though she closed her register, walked by me with that dont-you-know-im-better-than-you attitude, held up another register, and made the cashier give her $700 and loudly proclaimed that it was because ATMs dont work with my card. That was the final straw that made me stop coming here. How can you guys make an employee like that a manager?

Clean and well stocked. Found some great deals...nice pork ribs $1.79 per lb...got 30 lbs. Polite and friendly staff. Ill go again.

This store is across town from me, but the few times I have been here, I have found items I been looking for. Its has been becoming a stop when Im on that side of town.

Just as the title goes, you do save alot. You bag your own groceries, plastic bags are provided. I recommend shopping here if you or a family is on a budget. Good prices, good selection of food and other household items.

If you like getting name brands your going to want to stick to your normal grocery store. Save-A-Lot has some name brands but not a ton. I like this store because they offer a great price on meats and the quality is fine in my opinion. Also since its a lot smaller its easy to find items you actually need!

Great prices on food and meat. Took my grandson there for the first time. He was excited and said he will do his shopping there until we got to checkout. Lady checking us out, just threw the meat (big packaged up meat)on top of fruit we had. Fruit is probably bruised now. Very diappointed in that part.

Great deals! The meat specials are out of this world! When you can get steaks, ribs, and cuts for less than you pay for hamburger at other stores, its a no-brainer. The frozen foods selection is amazing.

Shopped here as the store is now under new ownership. Basically looks about the same as it did prior to the changeover. There always has been a good selection of items here to buy. The quantity and variety cant compete with the bigger grocery stores in town but for certain items its still a good place to shop.

Produce area has been revamped! I used to have an issue with their spinich and strawberries going bad within 24 hours but they seem to have gotten fresher fruits and veggies that last longer and are now worth spending my money on. Hands down still the best prices on meat in town!
