Great local coop with lots of organic options, an on site bakery and a large bulk section. Gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options.

Sadly, there are so very few local stores that serve our communities in holistically supporting the mind/body. I was happy to take the drive from Rapids because you carry a hard to find herb for lung health. I also grabbed some produce and loved the mushroom & microgreen selection!

Ive been going to the Stevens Point Co-op for many years now. It reminds me of the corner grocery we use to go to when I was a kid. But with one exception, they have such a great variety of so many healthy foods its hard to not get things you didnt come in for. I love that they use local people for some their food choices. It has everything from vitamins, toiletries, to homemade bakery item, dairy, meats, fresh veggies, bulk items, tea, coffee and liquor. There are too many things to name. The staff is always so helpful and friendly. And a special bonus is I get to have a discount on every purchase for having a yearly membership. Love this place.

Selling over-priced routine grocery store items to the holier-than-thou Organi-philes to feed their misguided delusions. Cant fault the store for taking advantage. A fool and his money are soon parted.

I love this store. They carry many local products, fresh produce, and bulk nuts/grains/spices. They have a new grab and go section which has tasty offerings and they have fresh baked goodies. The staff is fantastic. Shop local.

Hours are not as posted on the door or their website. I spend $400 a month on supplements and this store cant be bothered to be open when they say they will be so now I go to Nutrition Discount Center. Knowledgeable, good prices, and their open when they say they will be.

The chocolate chip cookies are to die for. Feels good knowing organic food is available for purchase. Great variety from which to choose.

One of the best places to find any sort of health foods, supplements, fun snacks, alcohol, and all around sustainable and useful items. Friendly staff as well!

I absolutely love going to the Stevens Point Area Co-op. I have always had excellent customer service whenever I go there and all the staff is so kind. They have a wide variety of items ranging from foods to home products. Its a great place to get those last minute essentials you might not have at home and you dont want to take a trip to a huge grocery store for.

This place has everything from essential oils to home health products to specialty foods to bulk ingredients, and everything in between. A fun place to investigate. They have so much to offer, you sometimes have to dance with other customers to get around, but it is worth it!

Large variety of food, fresh veggies, frozen, refrigerated and nonperishable.

I fell in love with the place. They offer organic and plastic free items, the atmosphere is very warm and homey. Fresh baked breads and sweets, local produce, recycle incentives and a wide variety of inventory. If it wasnt for the price of organics, Id be shopping there for groceries all the time! Membership is totally worth it.

Compact little store with lots of cool stuff! Especially love their specialty wines like blueberry and pear! Only downside to this place is it can easily feel claustrophobic. But its still worth a visit!

Just did my first curbside order and pickup and it was very smooth! SPAC is definitely the ultimate grocer with regard to quality and concern for customers. You guys rock steady!

I truly love this place for getting groceries that I normally wouldnt. I go here when I just need a super special treat and it is such a cozy place to visit. I love the people that work here and I truly enjoyed my experience whenever I go. It is a very clean atmosphere. If you do have any questions, the staff is very knowledgeable. Theres a lot of fun and unique items to buy here. A great local place to check out if youre a visitor.

Dont let the size of the building fool you- this is a great little store with a wide variety of products. I love being able to easily find food, drink, and health/beauty items that are local, organic, and/or otherwise specialty. Even the beer and liquor section is well stocked for the relatively small size of the store. The in-house bakery produces really yummy breads, cookies, and more- even gluten-free products. Staff are friendly and helpful. My husband and I enjoy shopping here with our co-op membership.

Quality can not be beat....you can taste the freshness and care put into everything they make right there in the store!

Im not a huge fan of most organic foods and grocery stores, so I wasnt surprised that I couldnt find a ton of things that I liked but I was surprised to find some interesting beverages and bison meat that I enjoyed immensely. If youre into organic food, this store would be great. If youre not, its still worth visiting in case you can also find a couple of unique items that other stores simply dont carry. Staff was polite during my visit and the meat I bought was fantastic.

I love the Co-op! It’s small and quaint and they have a lot of unique products. I feel good shopping there because of all the organic and “natural” products and their commitment to reducing waste from disposable bags. Since they are so small they don’t have a great selection. When I go grocery shopping and I know I want something that I can only find at the Co-op I know I’m probably going to be making multiple stops. When the Bakery is open it smells amazing.

I love this place so much! The people are so friendly & helpful. They have the best meat I have ever had. It was nice to take my family in to visit & stock up. 💜

I love the SP Co-op! The staff are really friendly and helpful! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. I always find something new to try when I stop here. It makes me feel good knowing Im supporting local businesses and being more eco-friendly in general.

Quality, selection, nutritious food, local food, friendly staff, builds a sense of community, and accommodating to customer requests or special orders.

Love the products and the bakery is to die for but lately have noticed a change in employee attitude. They act snooty when you get to the counter and I always hear chatter in the other isles from employees talking badly about certain people or things that are going on there. This is not what I want to listen to when I go into a business and I also dont want to be treated like I am an idiot or not wanted there. Natural food place in Rapids has the same items with a better attitude. Hope the Manager fixes this otherwise I will be asking for my membership money back :(

A friendly convenient service had just what I needed!

I worked here 2015-2016 and I absolutely loved it. They told us no matter how many people are in line at the register, dont feel rushed. Employees got birthdays parties with presents and really felt like part of a team. This is the mentality that makes everyone so happy and helpful. Now its become closer to a workers co-op which is even better! Plus theres been even more emphasis on getting ethical, healthy, and/local products than before. The SPA Co-op is my favorite store and Im so glad its stronger than ever.

Its a little pricier than a typical grocery store, but to be expected with speciality products. I can find things here that Ive had to purchase online, like larger quantities of yeast. Im not a member of the coop, but considering it for the future! I love the local meats, produce, honey, etc too!

Love this place! When I started my healthy lifestyle I visited this store. That was 6 years ago and I’ve been a member ever since.

Products are a bit pricey however it smells really good in the entire store!

Its good lots of organic products. You have to be a member to get the discount it seems. The bakery has some really good stuff as well that would be my recommendation go there for the bakery.

Bulk nuts and the best soda selection in town. A+ The Earth Crust bakery also happens to be here, check them out on Tues & Thursday for awesome pastries around lunchtime.

Was informed by my credit card company that they charged me twice. When I called to inform them about this situation they could be of no use and instead blamed me for the problem. The woman on the phone said I should have noticed the duplicate charge sooner and also stated that they could not look up the error because I am not a member. She kept making excuses such as they are in the process of getting a new manager or their technology frequently has errors.So not only do they overcharge for everything to begin with, but if youre not careful they may overcharge you twice.Also, note that an actual co-op advocates for collective ownership in the organization and only charges you a set fee for life (example $58.00 at Willy Street in Madison) which can be refunded if you decide to part ways. In addition, Willy Street also offers a discounted ownership and 10% every day discount to EBT customers.The Point Co-ops $40/membership fee a year sounds like a Sams Club scam to me. All that being said, I cannot support this place and will not be returning unless core issues are addressed.
