I went in for my auto inspection, (by the way they have the best rate) and they did a through inspection. They found that I needed wheel alignment which saves on having to get new tires. They have a great team at VIP, some of whom I met at a different tire service and I know to be aces at thier trade. What a releif it was to see them there...boast my confidence in the work done on my car. If you want the job done right...go to VIP!!!

I got new tires in April from Vip.Justin and his staff are awesome. I called to see if they could plug my tire at 2:00PM after getting a nail stuck in tire, and they got me in same day.I work overnights and didnt want to chance getting stuck on side of road.Thank you guys so very much :)

A new employee screwed up the estimate for something - told me $200 (twice) when it should have been $600.When I went to pay, Justin (manager) figured out what had happened and adjusted the bill back down to $200 immediately. I didn’t need to argue, complain, or even ask - he just took care of it.It’s refreshing to see customer service done right and to have businesses stand by their word.

Needed new wheels and tires for my 2008 Honda CR-V. Service Manager, Mike Long, was able to find just the right rims and tires to make my car look and feel brand new. The upgrade was fast, the service was courteous, and the aftermarket equipment was better than OEM.

Great service and prices were low

I have nothing but good things to say about my service experience at VIP. I came in for an oil change and to find the source of a loud tapping noise coming from the front of my car. Mike was very courteous and professional when checking my car in. It was a Sunday and there was only 1 tech on that day so I told him I could leave the car until Monday if necessary. A couple hours after drop off, Mike called to tell me the noise was from the undercarriage plastic shield. It wasnt a part that VIP could get, but he offered me a solution at a very reasonable price. One hour later the car was done and I picked it up before closing. Very happy customer.

Very helpful when I had an appointment to get tires I had brought with me. Upon arriving, I found out that my tires I had loaded in the car and brought with me were the wrong size. The gentleman working was quick to show me tires that were in my price range. Even though they were 20 mins until close they were able to mount and balance my tires and get me back in the road safely. I would go back anytime.

I was impressed with the customer service I received today from Justin Saba! He made sure my cars maintenance was completed in a timely and efficient manner as well as got a tire from another location so that replacement could be taken care of today too. There was no nickel and diming me for additional service. Sincerely appreciate the communication. Ill be back!

I have just recently moved to the Stratham area from the North Shore of Boston and was looking for a local place to start to take my car to be serviced. I figured I would stop in to have a quick oil change. The guys who helped me were VERY helpful right from the beginning! Super professional on the phone and in person. We were in & out in no time and they explained everything they were going to do, as well as what we needed to do for our vehicle in the future. From here on out we will be bringing all 3 of our vehicles here to be serviced!Thanks again!

This place has been exceptional for my auto needs. I moved to NH 3 years ago and every winter/spring I change out my all season/winter tires on my personal and commercial cars. I have never had issues with appointments, wait times, customer service, or any employees. They even went above and beyond one time and plugged a tire for me because they found a nail in it that i had no idea about. They are excellent to work with and their lift could accommodate my heavy work van.

Inspection was performed and here and they discovered I had 3 bulbs out the fixed this issue and was not expensive. Very friendly and professional service.

I have had nothing but top notch service from VIP in Stratham! I sheared the oil drain plug off in my Mustang somehow? And all I was charged was a 1/2 hour shop fee! With an offer to put in My oil! Which I did saving me money. I will be doing future business here for sure.

It is nice to be able to add another good review to the pile. VIP in Stratham is the right combination of old-school auto-parts store combined with factory-quality auto repair. Weve had both Euro and Japanese cars worked on by them; all of the work was reasonably priced, done right, and done fast. If youre in the area, theyre your ticket.

I received excellent service for new tires and a state inspection at the Stratham, NH location. The Service Manager, Michael, was very helpful in reviewing my options. I highly recommend them!

The management seemed to change this year. A lot of the older good reviews are accurate regarding customer service and price.This last time I went in for a state inspection my car failed due to brake pads and pitted/rusted rotors. This was going to cost me 450 if I went though them. I typically do my own brakes so I took it back to my house to install new rotors and brake pads. When I jacked up the car and started looking at the rotors they looked perfectly fine but the brake pads did need to be replaced so I put the brake pads on. Brought it back the next day and it passed inspection.Shockingly it passed inspection! without me replacing the rotors! After the said it passed, I went in and told them the rotors were fine and that I did not replace them. First they tried making an excuse saying that it looked like they were worked on and when I told them that I did the job and all I did was replace the pads, the manager said was that he was not the mechanic so he cannot speak to it, yet he was perfectly fine telling me the previous day that I needed to replace them.I would be skeptical of the high rating on google as I would imagine a lot of this is from the past management.

Took my car into VIP Tires & Service in Stratham based on a referral from my neighbor. She has been using them for years and had nothing but wonderful things to say about them. I got an inspection sticker as well as a variety of other routine maintenance items done (without an appointment even--they squeezed me right in) and I couldnt be happier. The staff was professional and knowledgeable and the price fair. I will definitely be back!

Friendly staff, a clean waiting area and competitive pricing is what you find at this location. I take all three of my vehicles here because they have earned my trust. I am currently having A/C issues and they are one of the only shops around that have the capability to diagnose and repair it. Michael Long at VIP is the perfect picture of customer service. We had a small snafu that was not his fault but he more than made up for it in the service to us. We bring all of our cars here and will continue to for everything from new tires, oil changes and services, to just switching out of snow tires and regular tire sets. I couldnt recommend them more!

I stopped to buy a battery for my wife’s car after testing it myself and had intended to bring it home and install it myself but the car wouldn’t start when I went to leave. Although they had offered to install it from the start at this point I figured why not. A very nice young woman named Kat came out and not only changed out the battery but also put a test on the alternator and on the battery again just to be sure and to confirm my diagnosis. I was very impressed with Kat abilities and professionalism.

I talked to Justin on the phone 10 minutes before closing time, and he quoted me a price for 4 new tires for my RAV4. I called the next day after shopping around, and VIP had the best price out of the 4 places I looked at. I went in at 3:00 that same day and left about 4:30. Dan was fantastic about other things that needed to be looked at without pushing me to get it done there. Joe told me he would get me some estimates and email them to me and I got them today. Very friendly, no pressure, and it was not painful like I thought it would be. I recommend this VIP location to anyone who needs tires, or more.

I had a great experience at VIP auto. They changed my front blinker light at a very affordable cost. They happily checked the air pressure on my tires and added more air at no cost. I highly recommend you take your car to get serviced here.

Very friendly service. They discovered a problem with my oil filter plug, which had been causing a leak. Ive had several oil changes at other businesses over the past year, and no one else diagnosed the problem. It was an easy fix, and now no more leak! Thank you!

VIP is the place to go! I recommend them to everyone! Justin is extremely knowledgeable and took the time to educate me on the mechanical stuff I wanted to understand in order to take better care of my car. He answered all of my many questions and was able to explain everything in a way that someone with no car knowledge would understand. I told him I was preparing my car with lots of mileage for a cross country road trip and his team performed a free check up on it and told me what they recommended for up keep, along with a very thorough check up on the car overall. Every location I have been to has excellent customer service and mechanics who will advocate for you, rather than just take your money. So refreshing!Joe is very helpful, takes time to explain basic auto mechanics to lay people like myself, and gives realistic expectations for car care. I would never go to any other chain, VIP is the best!

5 Star ServiceI brought my car to two other garages to get the air conditioning fixed and they both gave me the run around. I brought it to VIP and they took the time to diagnose and fix the problem. They even took me home and picked me up when they finished. I dont remember the name of the young lady who chauffeured me but she spoke very knowledgeably about tires and I will be buying my tires from them the next time I need them.Justin and this young lady were extremely helpful, they really made me feel like a VIP!

They people at VIP are wonderful and were able to replace my tires the day of. They were available to work on Sunday which was less common than I thought. They are great if you need unexpected work done!

We have had great support from Justin, Joe and the team. We have gotten two cars new tires in the last two months and feel like we were recommended the right tires and not some over priced tires we would have recommended elsewhere. The third car goes in this week!! Thank you for great service.

I made an appointment to find out what was wrong with my ac. Told them the clutch wasn’t engaging, and that it was fully charged. Was quoted a price of $125 for them to diagnose it. Dropped it off at my scheduled time, was told 1.5 hours. 2 hours later I still hadn’t heard back from them. Went to get an update on the status and was told that they needed to get a diagnose to really understand what was going on. That they could tell the clutch wasn’t catching and it was reading fully charged (all info I gave them days prior). I confronted them asking what they were doing for the 2 hours they had it and he said he just looked it over. He also wanted to give me a price for a new compressor even though he had no idea what was wrong with it. I had brought a friend with me who use to be a mechanic and he asked about other things like sensors and things that could also make the clutch not engage. The mechanic agreed to the other things but said he wouldn’t know for sure what was causing it without diagnosing it first. At this point I was so angry, not because he wasted 2 hours of my time but also because he was going to try and sell me something he wasn’t even sure I needed. I asked for my car and left. I will never go back again.

Needed quite a number of things done to my older suv with over 200k, including a state inspection. Work was completed in a fair amount of time and for what they estimated, much less than I had feared when I walked through the door.

I recently purchased 4 tires for my wifes vehicle. About two weeks later, she got a nail in the sidewall of a rear tire. VIP had a new tire installed and had us safely back on the road within an hour of walking in the door! Great staff, great service and great experience.

Management change? I have been going to VIP in Stratham for 4+ years. I have always had great experiences and amazing customer service there. I really liked it when the person who answered the phone “knew” me by name. (I know this was because my phone # was in the system)but nevertheless, the friendly, professional service went a long way towards developing confidence and trust in VIP in Stratham, setting them apart from other similar automotive service centers.Unfortunately, this personal customer service has all but disappeared. The last 2 times that I have called, instead of being recognized as a repeat/regular customer, I am treated as just another nameless customer. When I arrive to check in, I am no longer made to feel as though I am a priority. Instead, I have waited 10 minutes to be checked in, with 3 employees either on the phone, or on the computer and a line of customers, none of whom were being helped. Today, after being asked if I brought my registration in with me, (I did not, but I knew my mileage) I was asked to wait so the employee (wearing a neck gaiter, not a mask) could bring back 1, then 2 work orders out back before taking my keys. I had actually begun to wonder if he was coming back.Aside from the lack of “personal” service, the attention to details and cleanliness that I could depend on is gone, replaced with greasy prints on my white leather seats, the oil change reminder sticker, forgotten. This time, the debris left on my dashboard from changing the inspection sticker and again, the oil change reminder sticker-missing. Small, but important details, when added together begin the erosion -when customer service and attention to details are not a priority, customer confidence declines. During the last 5 visits to VIP in Stratham, they recommended new tires, which I knew that I was due for. When I called, I paid a lot of money for all 4 tires, only to find out about the specials that began the following week... imagine my surprise that I had not been given a heads up and offered a choice to take advantage of this upcoming special? When VIP recommended new tires, they also told me that I needed new rear struts. During this service, rear struts then morphed into replacing all 4 struts because somehow no one had noticed before that one of the front struts was bent. This addition more than doubled the estimated cost.Since having the struts and tires replaced, there is an unexplained noise somewhere in the front end (I purchased quiet tires to lessen the road noise) When I brought the car in and asked about this, I was told it’s probably my bearings. (No play in the wheels, but could be causing the noise) So, I received another estimate. Today’s visit for oil change and inspection resulted in another estimate for rear brakes.There was a time when I would not question the recommendations for work to my car, however, I have become rather skeptical and have begun to question the integrity of the recommendations that I am receiving from VIP in Stratham. Not wanting to write them off, I checked the reviews just to find out if anyone else had experienced the same degradation in services as I have and sure enough, there it was, an almost identical inspection/brakes scenario, which resulted in a customer questioning the integrity of the service and a loss of confidence in customer service at VIP in Stratham.In closing, Over the years, I have recommended VIP to my sons, friends and colleagues. How very disappointing it is to have to say that my confidence in VIP of Stratham has turned into the same distrust and wariness that I feel when going to any ordinary automotive repair shop. It is so difficult to find good, honest automotive care but if you do, the relief is palpable. I dare say, it’s also empowering to those of us who depend on these services to keep our automobiles running safely and in top condition. I am sorry to write that since the new store manager (assistant?)has taken over, VIP in Stratham is no longer a place to trust for customer focused, honest, quality automotive care.

Ive been coming here for years and the customer service is great. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I dont know very much about cars, but theyre always able to explain the work to me in a way I can understand. Theyre honest about what needs to be done, but theyll also tell me whats a priority and what I can wait on if its not in my budget at the time, which I appreciate.

Found this place several years ago after Valvoline tried to charge me $100 for a synthetic oil change!? Theyve been great. Nice staff, well-run, reasonable prices and Ive never had an issue with any of the work.

Went for state inspection without appointment. I was told it would take an hour and a half so I decided to wait. I ended up waiting 2 hours so they just didn’t charge me. No complaints, they just didn’t charge me. I was impressed.

Although my wait was long this time its not usually the case. The staff took care of everything, were very good about answering questions and kept the line moving pretty quickly. Great service as always making me a very happy customer.
