Worst experience I have ever had at a Verizon location. I have been a loyal customer for almost 10 years. Never in these 10 years have I been made to wait OVER AN HOUR to return a charger. Then to be told I can’t return it at this location. Then I’m told, “It’s not a question we ask.” When I questioned why they didn’t just tell me that when I walked in an hour ago. Unacceptable.

I have always had the Verizon rep reset my contacts etc.. when getting a new phone and have never had a problem until in this moment when I walked in the gentleman wanted to debate the new phone exchange policy until he asked his manager to learn he was wrong, as we progress with the reason I was in the store to begin with he then tells me I need to make an appointment if I wanted them to reset my phone contacts, text messages etc... Nevermind bud, Ill just go to the corporate store I usually go to in which now that I look has higher customer service rating than this location.. what a waste of time and lack of customer service

Worst experience. I will never come back to this location, especially because of Karen. She will promise you anything to make you buy a phone or open another line, but after that you are not getting any of what she promissed. After working with Karen my bill went up and plan became twice expensive, but I was promissed to see totaly different numbers in my bill.Now I have to fix all of this over the phone.

After coming here with a broken phone to buy a new one and being told to use the wifi from Starbuck parking lot because he could not assist me with my purchase. The customer service here is just great! If I wasnt going out of town tomorrow morning I would have taken my business to AT&T. Verizon you hire some great people! I will be making a switch!

Went to Verizon today and the store was literally empty on the inside..I parked my car outside the store and the store employee came outside and he made me stand outside in the rain and he had asked me as to what I needed. He started explaining about different plans Verizon was offering while I was standing out in the rain. I walked off ..!! Will never go back to Verizon and this experience will never make me switch to Verizon from other carriers.

Needed an appointment due to the pandemic but there was only the two employees present inside the store & myself. Was just there to purchase a new phone, crazy expensive on top of Verizons service being crazy expensive. The stock at the store was very low. Didnt have the color phone I wanted or the phone case I needed, so i settled & purchased another. Was helped by Andy who was very kind, funny & quick at setting the phone up, putting the screen protector on, giving me instructions & paperwork to get it working on my own. Store was clean, employees were masked, all in all its the best location around the area for 20 miles. Ive tried several, & it is the best of the bunch.

I have had Verizon wireless for year. Went to this store today, I was the only person in the parking lot, I was turned away from purchasing my daughter a replacement phone for her phone that was stolen because I didnt set an online appointment. I would recommend Verizon figure out quickly what there doing so wrong that when a customer walks in to spend money there only response is They must set an online appointment complete garbage. The customer got in there car and drove to your location to do business that is there appointment.

Horrible customer service. Don’t go to Nerul in Strongsville. My daughter who I thought was an authorize user went in to pick up a phone on dec 4th we ordered on the 3rd of December, paid for it on Their link, and suppose to be an easy pick up, got a confirmation it was ready in Strongsville, the verizon customer guy told her the order was never placed but he needed to cancel the order. How can an order be canceled that was never there? Don’t ever go there. Go to Westlake on Detroit rd. They are very well educated and trained. To top it all off Nerul didn’t even check to see if my daughter was an authorized user, I assumed she was, but after calling customer service she wasn’t!! So he made moves on my account without checking if she was able to. I added her on after two hours after she left the store. Unreal, ordered another one to be picked up in Westlake, was in and out of Westlake in 3 min!!!!!!!

We had Tanyesha help us. The best way I can describe the service is nonexistent. She came out to the car, and had us try to log into our Verizon account on our phones. We explained that we had trouble staying logged into the account, but she didnt really care. Instead of helping us, she told us to go home and order it online after admitting that she could help us with a pickup in store. She didnt.Instead, we called Verizon headquarters to get everything taken care of, requested an in store pick-up, and had literally everyone else help us. Something that should have taken 30 minutes took an hour and a half.

After my dad passed away, I went to go change my number and our plan wed had. An employee was inappropriate with me and took up over 5 hours of my time helping me upgrade my phone and switch the number. He said he was quitting soon, and implied he was doing things for me that he was not supposed to. Idk what he was talking about still. I told his boss eventually, and showed him the phone number I was handed. The manager was visibly weirded out and appalled, but calm and apologized to me, acknowledging that guy should be fired ( I think theyre not allowed to tell customers). I was grateful his boss didnt make a scene. Either way, I was traumatized, so I avoid that store and would drive a half hour to the next closest one. I feel bad for the manager. Im likely not renewing my contract there, though.

When I first upgraded to the Samson s9 plus, I picked a metallic purple and wanted a clear case. They didnt have one, gave black loner. And true to their word got my clear case today! And he fixed and explained settings to me I didnt know I had messed up, and was Very polite about it. Definitely I would go back.

My daughter is serving our country overseas and neither Verizon salesperson really tried to help me get things straightened out...refused to speak with salesman from another store(non-corporate) that was helping me the prior day. Horrible service from someone who genuinely did not seem like they knew what they were doing. Stated that you cannot take the upgrade from someone else on your line (spoiler alert: clarified by multiple representatives later that you still can) and that you also cannot trade in your phone to pay off the remaining value of your phone (spoiler alert: clarified and verified by multiple representatives) that you still can and tried to tell me that you can only trade in towards the value of accessories. Please spend 5 more seconds training or hiring individuals and not have manipulative or cunning as a trait you look for when hiring. I believe his name was Brandon. Brandon you are an idiot.

Id give a zero star if I could ... I ordered a phone online for in store pickup to save time, I didnt have the card I used to pay online with me, so they basically said sorry call customer service and figure it out yourself and told me to go on my way.... Corporate customer service was nice enough to over-night me my new phone for 10:30 tomorrow but, doesnt make up for the your on your own attitude or the two hours of my life I wasted driving there and back plus sitting around on the phone...

I just bought the S20, had to purchase online. When I went to add a phone case they only had 1 option so I sent the phone order through figured Id get the case when I picked up, or call and see their options at Verizon. First off Verizon didnt even answer the phone, they never even called to tell me it was ready for pickup. So I waited 2 days calling the store 2 times a day never getting an answer. When I got fed up and went to the store to see where my $1300 phone was a lady ran out to meet me at my car asking what I needed when I told her I had a pick up she asked if I received a call to come pick up, of course I said no. She asks my name then 15 minutes later a gentleman comes out with a bag asks to see my ID and card I paid with handed me that bag and said bye. I asked him if I could purchase a case for my phone he said not in the store I would have to order online. Verizon, and Samsung I am extremely disappointed in both of you. We have had a family plan through Verizon for years since they bought cellular one. I think this is why they say all good things come to an end

Well, I would not give a single star if I could. My husband got a new Iphone 11 with 24 months contract through trade in( iphone 8 that was bought only 3 months back) on a sunday. The sales person, Mickey Gonzales, gave us incomplete information. He said that the phone would get unlocked on it;s own after 60 days and if we ever went back to our home country, then we could close the contract by paying off the pending bill. However, what he forgot to mention was that we would also loose our trade in credit money. After speaking to customer care, we went back to talk to him the next day but he sounded confused and contradicted his previous statement by saying that we would have to keep the contract open for 24 months and that he would not be able to return our old phone as he had dispatched it even if we returned the iphone 11. We had to return the iphone 11 as we would be going back in the month of April. So we lost our iphone 8 and had to pay restocking fee of $75 for returning the iphone 11. We were told that we had a 14 days window to return the new phone, then why wouldnt you wait for 14 days before dispatching our old phone? I am sure there must be a way to get the old phone back, you cant just take back the new phone as well as keep the traded phone. We feel looted.

Stopped in for an upgrade and to look at iPad as well as apple iwatch and was told 4-10 mins there was about 6 sales people on the floor 30 mins later we are still waiting no one has acknowledged us and now only one sales person on the floor the person that took our info went to the back never came back out. We waited 45mins and nothing we left, this location has the worst service! Needless to say we are going to do everything via online and your sales team just missed out on their commission and helping hit their sales goals.

They were not busy at all, the host came right up to me and told me we would be helped quickly. My phone immediately texted and said I was next in line. There were two people working upfront then they disappeared and one worker felt it was great just to chat with the retirees about their aches and pains for the next 15 minutes while we waited. I dont like to start a review as being negative. My problem was going to an actual store and being told information that was completely opposite of what the customer service told us over the phone. Its like they were working for two different companies. They were both very cheerful and nice and their customer service seemed right on top. But how is the consumer supposed to believe anybody when they get two different stories. I know it boils down to money. You make up your own rules and you have so many loopholes and confusing contracts verbally told to you And its done on purpose to confuse the public. Theres no transparency. When my husband has to stay on the phone for 5 hours that is not customer service. That is lunacy. he used to work for Verizon putting up your cell phone towers. He knows a little bit about the background. Especially getting to know all the customer service people that he has to talk to day in and day out to get anything taken care of. Pretty sad when you have to talk for hours on end for any kind of relief. All we ask is that you tell the truth in a transparent way and it in a way that is understandable for everyone. Stop changing for the worse. Thank you that is all. The phones are great I have a Google 3 and I love it. Thanks for your time.

Every question was met with you must call, you have to contact manufacturer, we do not do that. Store... So why do you have a store? This store was the absolute worst experience Ive ever had!! The manager was rude and not helpful at all!! He was even rude with customer service when they called to try and resolve my issue. I ended up having to drive 20 mins to the other side of town where the manager was absolutely amazing!! I think this manager needs to take some tips from the one in North Olmsted. The one in Strongsville literally had me sitting in my car in front of the store bawling my eyes out. All I was trying to do was pick up a phone my fiance had bought for me. Scheduled appointment for 7/12/19 between 12 & 12:30. Arrived at 12:05 and checked in. Not a single store rep was in sight. I sat down & waited. A couple reps finally came out of the back office. No one greeted me still. I asked a female rep if someone can please help me, after another rep came from the back to greet 2 people that just walked in. The female rep didnt seem to hear me the 1st time, or ignored me. I asked her again for some assistance and she claimed she thought I was already being helped. By the way, how do you not know who has recently come into the store? Unless of course, your entire staff has been in the back room? Why would you run your business this way?I told the rep no, I had an appointment. The Verizon app even checked me in stating I was next in line. I told the rep never mind, Ill just go to the North Olmsted location. The rep I talked to a week ago finally came out of their back office and didnt say anything to me at all. I did go to the North Olmsted store and they went above and beyond to help me. Ive never had a bad experience at the Strongsville location until today, but I will be going to the North Olmsted location from here on out. The way this appointment was handled today by the staff that was working at this location was unexpected and uncalled for to say the least. Judging from some other reviews on here, Id say you need to re-evaluate your staff and staffing needs. Im certainly not going to give you any sales or commissions numbers off my purchase as you didnt earn it.

Unwilling to help me, down graded me and my wife and talked to us like we were stupid, which thats why we were there to seek help with our smartwatch because we are not tech savy, we ended up returning it, the watch had a separate number from the mobile phone and would not properly sync making it 2 separate phone lines which thats not the point of the smart watch, not 2 different numbers, we wanted the watch so we could leave the phone at home and still use the watch but unfortunately we were downgraded and pretty much laughed at for there wrong doing and decided to return it hope this helps with anyones future visit! I would give it zero stars

This review is of the Verizon store across from South Park Mall in Strongsville. I checked in with an employee and then after a 23 minute wait I checked out. I was there to upgrade my phone. There was zero customer service. No one cared.......no one bothered. I drove across the parking lot to Best Buy and got the same Samsung S9 at a much better price than Verizon. We were waited on immediately. Best Buy represents Verizon and all the major cell carriers. Go to Best Buy and avoid Verizon stores.

Despite the fact that I arrived a few minutes before closing the sales team took the time to help me with a technical problem with my phone. Tech support had not been able to help me with the problem but the sales person took the time to look up a solution that worked and solved my problem. My phone was working properly when I left - 10 minutes past closing time. Thank you very much staff at the Verizon store on OH route 82 across from South Park Mall!

I left the store after receiving ZERO help & called the Verizon corporate customer service phone number and they straightened out the problem in ten minutes. I have been a loyal Verizon customer for over 20 years. It really bothers me that they have NO desire to help customers in my local Strongsville store when there isnt a BIG FAT commission involved. They have no desire to help customers. I must say the CSR I spoke on the phone with was great and friendly and solved my problem. But it still bothers me that I cant stop into my neighborhood store if I have a problem. The one right next to Starbucks on Route 82 in Strongsville.

We went into Verizon to take a phone number off our account and they could not do that. Also, my husband and I were both locked out of our online account and the salesman couldnt help us get back in. He handed us a paper with a 1 800 number on it and said we have to call to get both of our issues fixed!What is the use of having the verizon store if they cannot help you with any issues? The salesman was nice but just wish our issues were resolved.

Not efficient enough. I went in to get another charger. Was what I needed and she said it be a few min. Theres a couple people ahead of you. I waited 40min. Since sitting there waiting three other people came in and left within 10 min. All they had to do was take my charger and plugged it in then go back to help her or his customer. I wouldve given a 5 star review had my services been honestly and thoroughly provided. But they havent. I was lied to by a salesman and also the manager about phone transfer status while switching as a new customer. In the end that phone didnt transfer and left my family member without a phone and myself w 10+ hours of stress dealing with Verizon. To rectify the issue the manager took my personal old phone that I wanted to keep for myself and said the only way she could get a new phone that worked (remember not our mistake. Phone was unlocked and clear so we were told it would transfer) was if i turned my phone. I entered a verbal contract w this manager regarding this phone and he guaranteed a $130 refund for it. Not only did he never provide me w that but he charged us for the replacement phone and we Made no error to have to be responsible for these charges! Its been a constant stress for over a month and I Never wouldve switched had I know this would happen. So beyond disappointed and still trying to get my deserved money for my iPhone SE and refund for the charge for the new phone thatverizon sent out per their mistake.

Buyer beware! I went in for a watch (which I got). They were pushing the hum pretty hard, which is the device they sell that plugs into your car. Lied about the price, lied about whether or not it was an item with a contract (it is, 2 years if you are wondering), said it all with a smile on their face and made sure to highlight the $35 restocking fee. Be careful what you buy here, they will lie, cheat, and steal to make the sale.

Its a good store but weve had nothing but problems with Verizon.Number one they RE terribly over priced. I switched to Boost months ago and I love it . I absolutely love my HTC Desire 626 Sense. My Galaxy 5 was a great phone but and maybe even a better one but HTC and boost has made me happy. I put a fifth of the price I paid for the Galaxy and my bill is half the price. And I will never complain about unlimited data. Boost Mobile is the best.

Absolutely terrible. I went in to go shopping for a new phone to upgrade from my 5C and had a very disheartening experience.I walked in the store to browse phones and asked for a salesperson. The people working sent over a younger (mid-20s) bearded guy named Alex to help me decide which kind of a phone I should be shopping for, and he was quite possibly the most pretentious person I have ever had the displeasure of meeting.I outright told him I would be an easy sell, first thing. I am in the market for a new phone, have the cash in my pocket, and would be ready to walk home with a new phone today. I ask him to see their S8s, and he tells me that they are all in the back, but the S9 is a nearly identical phone, so I should look at that. I ask what the S8 would be able to do that my 5c cant and he straight up told me to look it up online. When I pressured him for details he made very vague statements about the speed and battery life of the phone.Somewhere in the conversation, I ask him what I can shop for in newer phones that I can put my music directly on the device and he told me that any new phone is gunna delete all my music if I put it in. He goes on to say that everything is cloud based these days and that I cant really own my own music anymore. I can understand corperate policy and the way that the industry is these days but he was doing NOTHING to help.At the end I go to shake his hand and get his name, and thank him for helping me. He refuses to shake my hand, and then says, and I quote, Thats nice, is there anything we can do for you? as I am holding my hand out. Not even a simple Your welcome.What a disgrace. This was easily the worst retail experience I have ever had in my life. This guy, Alex, had no sales skills whatsoever, let alone manners. I have been in retail for some time now and have never seen someone completely butcher every single part of a sale. I had every intention of buying a new phone today, from Verizon, but now I am considering switching carriers all together along with my whole family.Do not waste your time at this location. The product in stock is limited, the sales associates are rude, and the location is a pain to drive to during rush hour. The only reason I am giving this place a one star rating is because google wont allow a zero star.

Originally went in for a new phone and spoke with Juan. I was not happy with my experience at all.When I went back in the next day I spoke with the general manager Mike and he was happy to rectify the situation. He was very friendly and informative. I worked with Mary that day and she was wonderful and knowlegable going out of her way to help me and also helped my mother on her account. I also went back later that week and Kenny helped me and he was great to work with as well. ☺I was pleasantly surprised with the customer service I recieved. I would recommend going here over any retail store.

Please give yourself at least an hour or two to sit at this location and wait until you are helped by Verizon wireless customer service.I wish they had an appointment set up online to control some of the customers coming in.Good luck!

Worst customer service I have ever seen. I was told to come back for an appointment (edit: TO PAY SOME FEE), but had to wait until 15 minutes after the time I was told to be there because there was someone thinking about buying something from them. If someone is thinking about giving them money they will push everyone else through the window.Edit: I apparently had to give them money.
