Visited Target Optical inside Target at 16300 Southwest Fwy, Sugar Land on 8/3/2019 around 11AM. I did not get an eye exam at this location; I brought my prescription from an outside optometrist.This visit was the most fun and helpful experience Ive had in 30 years of buying glasses from all sorts of stores, including Costco, LensCrafters, Pearle, and TSOs in the Houston area.Jaymi, Store Manager, is VERY GOOD at helping you choose frames, especially if you are looking to change your usual style a bit without overdoing it. I brought my husband (who has better taste than I) with me to help me choose new frames, and he confirmed that almost everything she recommended was a good choice.Adrianne was very friendly and efficient in getting my information, insurance, giving me estimates, and taking measurements for my progressive lenses.Adrianne and Jaymi are both very friendly and have great senses of humor. They worked together to help me find that just right pair of glasses. Their customer service was professional without being cold and impersonal. I enjoyed the time I spent with them, and look forward to seeing them again when I pick up my first pair of progressive glasses.Dont forget that if you use your Target RedCard, youll get another 5% off your purchase.Note: Luxottica North America operates Target Optical. I have had an issue with the Doctor at target optical for months now. I had a contact eye exam months, and the doctor made me try three different contacts after I specifically told her I did not want to. One of the new contact brands ended up ripping in my eye, and I had to have a doctor remove the contacts from my eyes. Every time I have called trying to get a copy of my perscription (which I was not given on the day though I asked several times) so I can get them filled somewhere else, I have been told that I had to wait the allotted three months for the trial contacts to finish. Though I have expressed my issues with the trial contacts, I still have not received my perscription. I have never received this kind of service from any other target optical, but this has been terrible.

Called and they told me to come for an appointment at 4:30.... I showed up at 4:20 and was told the doctor has left for the day.Didnt even bother to apologize for the inconvenience - dont waste your time with this place. Plenty of other optical choices.
