Their ring cleaning service is definitely a 0 rating compared to the Jared Memorial location! Jared at memorial ACTUALLY take the time to clean your ring and provide you with EXCELLENT service, but not at the Sugar Land location, which TBH I am very surprised about.

Jared in Sugar Land was an exceptional experience for me and my family. We were shopping for an engagement ring and had a particular budget in mind, but with most places we went, the options for diamonds were limited. I knew the diamond shape I wanted, as well as wanting to maximize the clarity, color, and the carat size, but most places only had a single diamond available for us to look at. At Jared, we were greeted by Shadler and Karen who were both very cordial and professional with us. Karen helped us every step of the way with looking at diamonds, picking out different ones in the stores collection to look at depending on what liked and didnt like. Shadler expertise was incredibly helpful; I visited 10 different stores for diamond rings and by far, he was the most knowledgeable diamond expert I interacted with. He kept our budget in mind and explained all the different factors that go into a diamond. We told him which aspects of the diamond (size, color and clarity) we wanted to maximize and which were most important to us, and he offered his own counsel on what diamond to go for. When we finally ordered the diamond and received the final product at the store a week later, we were thoroughly pleased. The diamond is stunning, and I know my significant other will love the ring when I propose to her next week. I recommend anyone looking for a diamond ring come here regardless of budget, because the team at Jared will help you find the best diamond ring within your price range.

NEVER EVER EVER GO HERE! Customer service is so bad! Here’s how it started for me. I went in on a Sunday to look at a diamond and selected one but they didn’t have it at the store and they told me it will be at the store on Tuesday, two days later. 2 weeks went by without them informing me (no call or email) that it was delayed and that it was going to take another week for it to come in. I had to call them several times just to get an update on the diamond. After that it just got worse and worse. I was told that they could have the ring ready by September 28th, and I was planning to leave for a trip on October 1st. Literally 2 weeks before the ring was to be made they told me that it was not guaranteed anymore. Mind you I had to call them every single time to get an update on the ring. Not once did they call me to follow up and tell me what the status was. Also when I was told it would be ready, they told me within 2 days they’d reach out to be for the 3D rendering of the ring....1 week went by and they never called, and once again I had to call them. I ended up not using them, but was still charged for the ring. They told me I’d get it 100% refunded since I never even touched, saw, or took the ring out of the door. After they told me it was taken care of, 2 months later I still get calls saying I have 2 past due payments on my ring. I asked them to take care of it and thought it was dealt with. Well I’m still getting calls and, they aren’t taking care of the issue. They’re saying they need a picture of the statement that I owe them money when they can easily call the banking company and figure it out. I had to call the bank and make the payment since they were not taking this seriously and taking care of my concerns. I will be sending them the receipt once it comes in the mail and i hope they can solve this issue without my lawyers getting involved. Never go to this place for a custom ring. RIDICULOUS!

I would give this place zero stars. My fiancé wanted to surprise me with a custom gift from Jared’s, but since it wouldn’t come in on time, he canceled the design and order. Jared’s didn’t cancel it on time on their end, and so now we are having to pay interest on a gift that doesn’t even exist! We’ve been asking them to handle this for over two months, and they have been unable to, frankly due to their own incompetence. This is unnecessarily tedious and stressful. Save yourself some trouble and steer clear of Jared’s.

We were concerned that because we weren’t purchasing diamonds(I kept my originals), that we wouldn’t be high interest customers. Daniel helped us customize a new set, using my diamonds, that was tailored to me. Amy the assistant store manager, took interest in assuring that any questions or concerns were addressed. I think some of these opinions are based on displeasure with not getting maybe the merchandise at the price that they wanted or something like that.I found it the staff was very knowledgeable about their products. Took my ring to get inspected for its 6 month inspection. I very rarely wear this ring because it has a history of losing stones or loose stones. Shortly after a year from purchase, the main stone fell out and was lost. They did not want to do anything about this even though it was checked on schedule prior to this. We finally got them to agree to replace it at a lower cost to us. Since then, I have had to pay several times to have some of the smaller stones fixed because they were loose. I have quit wearing the ring except for an occasional special occasion. I took it in to be inspected and it has another loose stone. They want another $50 to fix it. Before too long we will have paid for the ring twice. I guess it will just sit in the jewelry box from now on due to its mediocre craftsmanship.

Excellent customer service! I have been to this location many times, but most recently visited to have a ring repaired. Gwen, the general manager went above and beyond in providing excellent service. My ring was repaired, under warranty, in a time efficient manner and is GORGEOUS! No other fine jewelry store has a guarantee quite like Jared. I was pleasantly surprised that my ring was still covered, 15 years after the purchase date. I highly recommend Jared and specifically, this location!!!

I went to Jared to purchase an engagement ring. The selection that they had was impressive and the staff was very helpful. On my first trip, I decided I needed to do a little more research on what my fiance would like and returned a few weeks later after Gwen called me to let me know they were running a 10% off sale.She was very helpful through the process and took the time to explain the quality and grading of the diamonds. I really appreciated the time she took to show me all ranges of setting and diamonds. There was no pressure of an up-sell for me to buy something more expensive or exceed my budget.After I proposed, we took the ring back to get it sized and look at a setting that would fit better with the band we selected. She was very helpful and even got the 10% off applied to the new setting and the sale was over.Great place good people and no pressure sales during my experience. Will shop there again.

This is the worst experience I have ever had. Picking out your wedding bands is suppose to be a once in a lifetime experience and the employees at this location has stolen that from my fiance and I. We are recently engaged and decided to pick our wedding bands early because he doesnt have the best health so if we needed to elope we wanted that option. We go and find the perfect rings but when it comes time to go get his wedding band, they have no record of it....We spent at least 40 minutes there picking them out and the woman charging us. The woman said it would be 2 weeks for his ring to come in (took a picture of it for his profile and everything) so we wait and get no call. I go in for inspection and ask about his ring and they cant even find the paperwork, receipt, or even know his ring size. The manager was nice but the other Hispanic woman helping her find out what happened to my order was so rude being snappy and rolled her eyes at me when asking for an ETA I would need the ring. I will never be going here again. I would never recommend this location to anyone. They have added so much stress to what is suppose to be an exciting chapter in our lives.

This was my first time in the store or any Jareds for that matter. Amy greeted me as I walked in the door and was helpful immediately. I told her what I was looking for, the occasion and price range. She helped me with a few options and even tried them on so I could see what they would look like on a person. I was never suggested something that was above my price range or out of the style I was looking for which is something that was important to me. I dont like being pushed or told what to do. I have walked out on sales people before for being too sales-y. Gwen the GM helped with the final sale and was very helpful in explaining other services in detail.Great store and friendly people. Only drawback was the visibility of the store. It was hard to see because of the treeline blocking the writing on the building partially.

I have been purchasing jewelry from this location for almost 9 years. Started with engagement diamond ring and wedding bands. The staff is very helpful. They listen to what you are looking for and then shows you what they have. If you dont know what you are looking for, like the first time I purchased there, they ask questions to help you make decisions. I highly recommend this location for purchases.Also, there repair shop is fantastic. There turnaround time is very fast and if its a quick job you can watch through the window.

I had the best experience at this Jared location because of the amazing manager Gwen and Bherti! I was in a bit of a pickle regarding one of my previous purchases at another location. The situation seemed pretty bleak and honestly I thought about never purchasing from Jared again. I tried out this location and cant explain in words how well I was treated! Placed an order for a new wedding band on 4/28/18 that was supposed to be an anniversary gift from my wife to myself. They gave us an ETA of 6/21/18. I called around August to check on it and the lady seemed embarrassed, almost like it had never been ordered but she could see the order in the system. It’s currently 11/22/18 and it still hasn’t arrived. No phone calls, no emails, nothing. Pure craziness.

A lot of jewelry stores can be very intimidating to walk into and some of the salespeople are not the most friendly. That will not happen here. Gwen Crowson, the store manager, is amazing! She, and her staff, are very knowledgeable and extremely patient. Most of all, they are honest! If you are looking for a great experience, I would highly recommend asking for Gwen when you stop by. The young lady helping us was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful with the latest trends! My wife and I took a ring in that was purchase at Jared Jewelry and decided to take it in to the Sugarland location. We have not been there before and since it was the one closer to our home we decided to give it a try. Well for beginners the location is perfect, the store is very presentable, and well maintain. They even have a break area for customers and provide refreshments as you sit and relax. As we were in the store we were approached by an employee, Victoria, and told her what we needed. Victoria was very helpful and very friendly that it put my wife and I at ease. What was incredible as well was her Knowledge of diamonds, warranties, and services they provide to meet every customers expectations. My wife and I had several questions and she took the time to answer every question with ease and to the point where she knew we understood. As Victoria examined the ring under the microscope she had my wife look at it herself and describe the repairs needed and also showed her the laser inscribed number to make sure she knows were it is located and what was on file to match it. So we agreed on the repairs and had two diamonds replace due to being chipped, cleaned, and make sure all other diamonds were secure. The two diamonds had to be ordered and Victoria gave us a time frame when the work was going to be completed. She also informed us that she will keep in contact with us regarding the delivery of the diamonds and repairs. Victoria did as promised and kept us updated of the delivery notice and the repairs. At times my wife called due to some questions and Victoria again took the time to explain and put my wife at ease since she is a worrier. Victoria delivered as promise and called us that the ring was ready. My wife was super excited and we arrived meeting again with Victoria. Victoria received us as long time customers and returned to us the ring that look good as new. My wife was very excited and thats what Jared should be all about. Bringing that smile and excite to their customers and they did. I really want to thank Victoria and the people who invested their time and skills that have provided the service of excellence in both of our eyes. My wife was so excited that I ask to speak to the store manager Gwen and brag about how great of an employee she has and the service everyone involved provided. The customer service in this Jared location is excellent. Having been to this location many times in past four years for purchases and routine yearly cleaning and inspection of my jewelry, This year I returned, my husband having suggested I look at new settings for my diamond ring, which was not purchased at Jared. Everyone--especially Shoan and Bharti-- were so helpful in immediately recognizing my style, even though I thought I had wanted something else. Of course I found a beautiful Hearts Desire setting, but wasnt sure my old diamond would look good in it. I was shown a beautiful larger diamond that went in the setting perfectly. That diamond sold that same day but another was ordered. The next day I returned to talk with Gwen and found I could actually trade my old ring in for the ring I wanted. Gwen took a lot of time with me explaining the process, and the difference in ratings between my old ring and the one I loved. Of course we bought it and could not be happier when I got to pick it up today! We love this store and staff!

This Jared location is definitely the best in Houston!! I visited other Jared locations and none of them had what me and my now fiancé were looking for. We wanted a very specific style that was difficult to find since it contained an elongated stone, and I went to at least a dozen stores to no avail. I was so pleased with their customer service and willingness to make my engagement ring for me in such a short time. We had a deadline and Gwen, Bharti, and Donna went above and beyond to ensure that I had my perfect ring before my engagement party.

I went the Jareds at the Sugar Land Location to buy a watch. The stipulation was that I wanted it to be removed from the band it came with and put on another band. I was not asking for discount because I did not want the band it came with. I decided on a watch and told the sales rep that I would buy it if she would put it on the new band for me. Most jewelers routinely change watch bands, so I figured that this would be no big deal. She fiddled with the watch for a short time, confirmed that the band could be removed, then abruptly walked away saying that she was not going to do it. During the time she was fiddling with the band she stated: This is not a big sale for me.This is not the kind of service I would expect from any jewelry store. She lost a sale and Jareds lost a long time customer

I went there, primarily, to get my engagement ring resized. They did a great job with that fortunately, so I applaud their work in that department. However the reasoning behind my 2-star rating was for the customer service. I was helped immediately, but the woman who helped me was awkward, insensitive to my interests when I wanted to look at wedding bands (I was interested in a particular one but she offered her unwanted opinion on how another one would look better), and gawked at me when I gave her what I thought was a reasonable estimate of my engagement ring. Lets me honest- it was a guess and I could have been way off as I dont know how much my fiance spent on it... but her reaction was quite rude. Their selection of wedding bands was minimal. I would go here again for resizing but I will not be purchasing a wedding band from this particular store.

You didnt see him as a customer, but rather, as a criminal. This deplorable action will NOT go unchecked. No better service than Target. If I buy a cheap watch from Target and it breaks just past warranty, I dont expect them to go to bat for me with the manufacturer. When I spend more than $5000 on two watches at a high end jeweler, I expect them to at least try and help in the same situation.Their answer? Tough luck but our repair shop can fix it and save you money. Quote comes back HIGHER than manufacturer. Well, whats wrong with it. They dont tell us that. Just pay the bill.After months of hassle, I got the manufacturer to repair the watch. They had to instruct Jared on what to do to send the watch in and inform them it was their responsibility as a representative of the manufacturer.This wasnt just some new employee either. Store manager was involved and she was no better.Never Going Back

Terrible after sell service. I ordered a wedding band with engraving inside, and the first time I went back to pick it up they forgot the engraving. The order is totally missing. So, against my better judgement, I went back to the store just to see if the customer experience I had earlier would happen again or if that really was just a fluke. Well... I can happily say that it was less than a minute when I walked in the door I was greeted not once but three different times. And within 6 minutes I was being shown around the store to different necklaces I wanted to purchase for my wifes 10th anniversary.A ridiculously nice lady, named Susan, showed me around and introduced me to different types of necklaces I might be interested in. She was super kind and very informative. I can honestly say she made my day. She spent a good deal of time showing me all the different necklaces and I finally came across one I liked. She then proceeded to bring me to the back of the store to check out, and while I was checking out I believe the manager of the store (Gwen), introduced herself and also chatted me up while I was cashing out. She was also very friendly and asked me how I was doing. She even took the time to wrap up my gift and made sure it was in a very presentable fashion. I liked her, she was professional and courteous and it felt like she really cared how her stored performed.I now know why the store has so many 5-star reviews. They run a really nice looking store and the is a great team that works here. I really dont think you would go wrong checking out this jewelery store and making your purchase there. Its unfortunate my very first visit didnt go quite well, but I now assume it was simply because they were understaffed at that moment and several customers just happened to walk in at the same time. Im really glad I went back.The below is my previous review, which was probably said more in anger than anything else. I find it extremely difficult to believe that this store has received that many five-star reviews from others below. When I walked in I was not greeted. Which is fine, maybe they were busy with other customers. I walked around the store for a little while looking at all their selections, which I thought looked nice and were presented well. They had many to choose from and most looked exceptional in quality. I had been waiting for almost 15 minutes before someone finally said they would be with me in a moment. After another 10 minutes i was still not seen and I finally left the store having not been serviced at all. I went in wanting to buy some rather expensive jewelry for my wife of 10 years, and was unable to do so from their lack of customer service. Maybe they were just having a bad day or were understaffed this day, but it left me unsatisfied and I cant see myself ever going back to this location again.

Came in for an engraving another customer comes behind me and the lady asks if she can help him while I fill a form out. The form took one minute to fill out and then the waiting began. 20 minutes later another lady on the phone decides to help and eventually Im the last person leaving the store.... Thank you Jared I wont refer you to others or return any business. *** update ***. The manager compd the service due to how things went earlier. She really made me feel like they were genuinely sorry. Mistakes happen and they have followed up with me a couple times over phone ensure everything is going ok. For that I bumped my review up.

Soooo today I had a very pleasant and wonderful experience at Jared galleria of jewelry Sugar Land, the plan was to pick up some anniversary charms my boyfriend ordered online for my pandora bracelet so I left out with a few more due to the wonderful staff for helping us you guys are absolutely amazing thanks for the great experience Im so happy with my charm pieces😍P.S. My boyfriend is still saying we tricked him 😂 lolThanks again ladies!!!!

I love Jared in Sugarland, have bought many pieces of jewelry over the years from them . On Oct 17th I went to the store to have my jewelry 6 month inspected done, also had jewelry that I wanted to see if the diamonds were real . This young lady (Donna) came up to me and asked what I wanted, said she could help me . Donna is a very pleasant young lady . Then there was a few more questions she wanted Kim to look at, Kim also was very nice . They never rushed and took their time looking at all the jewelry I had .Offed us coffee and water . I felt like both women gave me their time and treated me like a queen, they focused on us.I then had eight pieces sized so I was able to wear them . Then on on the 25 th of October I went pick up the pieces, Donna was there and waited on me again, I was talking to Gwen, also a very nice person . Gwen was looking at the work that was done and then suggested on a diamond ring I had to be put into a necklace, I really liked that Idea . Both ladies suggested that I do an appraisal on four of my pieces for insurance, so I did that and also had two more rings sized. Also on the 17 th both women said I should have a diamond bracelet since it was my birthday month, they are good, brought me a beautiful diamond bracelet that I could not resist . Sold . I just want to let you know my experience was very pleasant, Donna, Kim and Gwen are very professional, caring and courteous, Kudos to them and for making this a very pleasant experience. I have already had one of my friends ask me why I took my pieces to Jared, I told her that I trusted them with my Jewelry and that they do great work . So I am sure she is going there when she has work done .

1st purchase was great no isssues. 2nd purchase my husband made for me for valentines day and I wasnt loving it, I went back for a refund and guess what they had no cash ! Sales associate said they hold any cash for security reasons, thats weird cuz I see jewelry worth thousands or even millions combined. I was told today if they had gathered enough cash to pay me back they would call. I was Not called back!Now what I am supposed to do? This is ridiculous! ! A jewelry store with NO money?!?! Im not coming back for any further purchases here!!

Such horrible customer service. Walked in there ready to make a purchase. Stood there for about 5 mins no acknowledgement. Purposely walked in front of all the associates for 10 mins and still no acknowledgement. Customer service needs some major improvement!

I had Jared, Sugarland branch, custom make a ring for me on platinum as that particular design had been discontinued by the original vendor. Bharti Aidasani helped me through the entire process. I cannot tell you what a pleasure it was working with her on this. It took about 3-4 weeks for the entire process but she kept me up to date on a weekly basis. The craftsmanship speaks for itself (take a look at the pictures) but customer service is something ppl dont emphasize or highlight. Both Bharti & Orlando have been ABSOLUTELY phenomenal.. they have won me for life! Ive already told my entire family & friend circle about their excellent customer service. Now just look at my beautiful ring.
