Good staff, decent prices and great service. Food from their kitchen is delicious specially the samosas and chai.

Tried this store for the first time earlier this week and the whole experience was delightful. The staff was friendly and courteous. We tried a couple of curries and snacks from their kitchen and everything was delicious.

This is a new Indian store with a small footprint. They pack all the necessary products to fully create Indian cuisine. There is a small kitchen providing snacks for any hunger pains. It is new so the store is clean and organized. Prices are normal...not any cheaper or more expensive. The two girls were friendly and offered advice for cooking tips.

New store opened in the Sugar Land-Telfair area. So far, clean with all essentials needed for Indian cooking and then some. They have a counter sized kitchen serving snacks. Time will tell if the owner keeps this little shop clean, organized, inexpensive with a good turnover of product. Many stores like this end stocking expired products as old as two years. But so far so good for now.

My family likes their kitchen services - both taste wise and quality wise. It is a little pricy though. One sincere suggestion I have for their kitchen is to avoid putting high temp food in foam boxes - this can become toxic over time. If not for customers that dont care about this- they should have paper based boxes at least for those that care for this issue. Thank you.

It was my first time here at Telfair Spices The Staffs were very helpful and friendly Nilofar helped me to find spices this store has variety of Masala and Deli has the taste foods I love it

Great store for a quick in and out. You can pretty much find everything you need or expect to buy from a desi grocery store. Prices are competitive, store is clean and well stocked and staff is friendly and welcoming. The small kitchen in the back has amazing food and their rotis are the best.

This used to be a delightful place to shop, with very friendly staff who always welcomed you with a smile. But no more. It seems they have a bunch of new people working there now, and my past several visits have been the same experience -- no greeting, dont even look at the customer during checkout, no thank you. As a customer, I almost feel like I was trespassing, and that I was not welcome. Sorry to see this, because this now makes this place just like all the other grumpy desi stores, characterized by the same high level of indifference and unwelcome attitude.

They send a message to give them a call on a number when we reach the store for curbside pick up. But this number never answers the call.

One of the very few clean stores in town. The staff is friendly and prices are reasonable. I absolutely enjoy shopping here. The fact that the store is a couple of years old and it is still well maintained speaks for itself. Keep up the hard work!

Have always ordered food from Telfair Spices and always found it to be very peppery, today the food was so peppery it could hardly be eaten! Also found it to be quite oily!

Went there last week. The store was extremely clean and everyone from the staff to the customers was wearing a mask. People kept distance from each other. All the items were well stocked. They were polite and helpful as usual. Favorite Indian store!

I have shopped here a couple of times in the last month or so and I am not disappointed so far. Staff is friendly and prices are competitive. I had quite a few bags and a heavy oil container and they offered to help load everything in my car. I love the fact that they are providing gloves and sanitizers to customers coming to the store.

Absolutely fantastic service, friendly staff and above all one of the cleanest and nicely organized Indo-Pak stores in the area. The prices are reasonable and produce were fresh with a decent amount of variety. The small kitchen in the back of the store is a must try. The vegetable curries are delicious just like home and their chapatis are soft and delicious. Overall a good find for me, will keep coming back for more.

My husband and I came here on a random whim for the first time and left as repeat customers! We first went grocery shopping for spices and were really impressed by how organized everything was and the reasonable prices (which btw is a huge deal because my hubby compares prices to World Food Wholesale Market where everything is wholesale priced!) after shopping we decided to try out their vegetarian kitchen. We ordered the pani puri on the recommendation of the cashier, and BOY WERE WE PLEASED!! The pani puri was AMAZING! Definitely one of the BEST in Houston!! I forgot to take a picture, but honestly wasnt expecting to write a review so didnt think of picturing it. We also ordered the chai which was phenomenal too! We liked the pani puri so much that we packaged the leftover pani and bought some puris to make pani puri at home with their pani! SOO GOOD! You wont regret it!!

Our family loves Telfair Spices. All the workers at store are always willing to help find what you are looking for. If they do not have it, they acknowledge it and try to order you the item in a timely fashion. I love the convenience of it being in Telfair. I can call ahead and order food and it is always ready to go.The owner listens to customers concerns and/or recommendations. They know me, my husband and daughter by our first name. That level of customer service has won over this customer!

Good place for groceries in a hurry ... small and quaint

Last week I went to Telfair spices and bought 3 Crispy Tea Rusk toast bagsand all of them were really Fresh and Crispy and delicious.. The store is good and they are trying their best to compete with other Indian grocery stores. I would recommend to shop over here.

This place has the best pani puri we have ever had. We just happened to be in the neighborhood and decided to drop by. The shelves inside this grocery store were so well organized, I was very impressed. Absolutely going to to bring the rest of the family here to try their other items in the cute snack bar in the back. The cashier was very sweet, offered to show us where to find the products we were looking for. No minimum spend required to use credit cards.

Shelves are always nicely stocked and organized. Good customer service and to go orders are always ready on time, would like to see more fresh vegetables collection.

Positive: Clean and well stocked. Food is fresh & of good quality. I love their pakoras (veg fritters) and dholaks (semolina cakes)! Prices are a bit higher than normal, but so is the overhead in Telfair, Im assuming.Constructive Criticism: There are never enough cashiers, making them look very disorganized when there are more than two customers. (Best practice is to have order takers/preparers and cashiers as seperate entities = smooth customer flow with shorter waiting times resulting in more tickets per hour - saw a guy not get all he came for due to the long ordering/wait time. Just my 2 cents)

We placed order for bread(roti) the owner was there at the time of pick up. He gave my order to someone else and made me wait and started arguing. I will never go again at this place. Worst service and high prices.

Staff is polite and respectful. Check out is fast and quick. Availability of products can be a bit better however it is a great stop to pick up a few occasional items.

I have been their customer since they opened the store two years ago. Yesterday, first time I had to return a bag of rice because I got the wrong brand and two of their employees made me wait fifteen minutes because they had to check with their owner/manger whether a rice bag worth 9.99 can be returned or not even though I had a valid receipt.First they refused to take it back saying it was open when in fact it was slightly torn but certainly not open.Even after the owner told me on phone he would accept return if it was not open, the employee had to send a picture of the bag to the owner to confirm! Finally they came to conclusion that it was not open and gave me the refund.

Grocery is common. Just stop by shop. They have less variety. Staff at counter is overfriendly i have seen girls flirting with guys. Instead they should focus on variety of products. And what people buy. What they should add.

Very poor. Stay away. Unhealthy food - all is oil.Check your groceries before you leave - they cheat too. If you order 20 samosas - please count them. They will only put 16 and charge you for 20.Credit card fraud too - I got charged twice - had to call the owner to get it fixed.

Products are old and stale

Poor quality food, indifference attitude, extremely poor customer service. As an example, 4 folks were waiting in line to check out, the one checkout lane manned by this lady was taking food orders on the phone repeatedly. Terrible snacks, the pakora was extremely salty and they insisted that it is the correct amount. I had to walk out. Plenty of choices for Indian grocery.. avoid this place, if you can.
