Fresh veggies and they have everything needed for Indian cooking. They also have household and festive items. Their in-house kitchen is good too serving snacks and sweets.
Rates are way expansive then world food store at Beechnut st.
The variety of products is pretty awesome. They also have a small kitchen at the pack which offers a good amount of snacks sweets and roti sabji options for the days you are feeling too lazy to cook. This place has plenty of parking and the produce is fresh.
Good store, but the selection is quite low.
Good collection of Indian veggies and groceries.
I have just moved from Alabama. I went in almost all the grocery store near Sugar land but This is one of the Best Indian Grocery shops in Sugar Land. They have almost everything you can think of.They are very organized and clean.1 thing I liked is that they are giving $20 credit if you get 1000 points
2nd time in 2 weeks. First time I thought ‘well things get bad’. Didn’t call them just disposed the coconut. I got this today, and this how spoiled it is. I called them to notify, I had no intention of driving to the store for 2.77. The guy who picked up the phone, told me that they have a post in the coconut that there is no return if its bad. Not one word of apology. This is it for me. All my friends have been telling me how bad SL Keemat is but I kept going because it is close to my house. Unbelievably bad product and service. Luckily we have lot of choices is SL for Indian store. Don’t go here !!
This is one of the Best Indian Grocery shops in Sugar Land. They have almost everything you can think of. And if they don’t, they make sure they get it for their customers. They are very customer centric. They are very organized and clean. Staff is very polite and efficient. Thanks guys because of your effort we sometimes feel we are in India.
Very easy to order and pick up in person. No long line at customer service desk. The price was right for the laundry detergent we ordered.
We have been doing curbside pickup since the pandemic. We really appreciate this newer option. The young adults loading our groceries are always prompt and friendly. Great grocery and great people!
Good selections and good service. If you request somethings that they don’t have they listen and try to get them for you. Good location.
A good indian grocery store in Houston
This place changed my life
A very good and clean store. For me, staff has been very helpful and knowledgeable. And the most important thing is they make sure they have ample registers open.
Nice store. They had a good selection
Great selection of products available, fresh veggies and attractive clean store!
This is what you get here - see the picture attached with my review. Never buy rice here...bug infested and yet, this is crazy and this place always sells old stock. Also, I asked them if they take this back for a refund, which they should do but they denied. Go here, if you want to grab some vegetables in case, otherwise stay away from this bug infested, lousy place.
Full selection of grocery for the Desi community at reasonable prices
We ordered online for Curb Side Pick up today and within an hour of placing order all available items were ready for pick up. The person called and interactively adjusted list for replacement items, very efficient service. They always have fresh stuff and friendly staff. In appreciation of the service I offered additional cash to the girl who brought my grocery to the car, but she politely refused accepting the money, saying that they are well taken care of and then thanked me. That is a sign of good employee employer relationship.I will use their service again and highly recommend other to use curb side pick up facility. All the best,Mohan
Clean good store. Service is very poor. Nobody cares to help and all the check out cashiers act as if they have attitude with you.
We love kitchen food
The grocery store is always stocked well and you will get fresh vegetables 9/10 times. The staff is helpful depending on the rush in the store. Please never use the restaurant/kitchen inside the store. If I had to review the restaurant alone, I would give one star. Rude kitchen manager at the reception and their chapatis are like papad by the time you reach home and are sit at the dinner table.
Excellent store! Huge selection of Desi items. I love the snack aisle. They have just about everything. Great service as well. Definitely recommend.
Good variety and reasonable prices
This grocer has a wide variety of South Asian and Indian products range from dry goods, to frozen Naan, fresh to ready to eat hot and coldsnacks.
I ordered samosas and the lady who works in the restaurant in the back of the store she wears a beanie on her head, she is very rude. She gave me cold samosas, someone who didn’t pick up their order. She gave it to me and they were cold. She has a nasty attitude and doesn’t like to work. Everyone that works in the restaurant is nice except for her.
Very expensive Indian grocery
Good place to get indian groceries. And the weekend offers on food items are really good.
The store has almost all the Indian grocery that I need. The staff is good but rarely smiles. I would appreciate if they place a sponge in water to open the grocery bags. I see customers using their spit to do so and then with the same hand going back and picking and choosing vegetable or fruit items.
Lowest price seasonal festival .more than 8 years Best for Indian vegetables & grocery shopping . Recommend for everything . Great customer service and thank you so much 🙏
Great selection of indian groceries. On site kitchen for delicious vegetarian food.
Dont let the offers fool you. You cant avoid going there because there arent any alternatives
Indian food and groceries.
Best ghee brand available in Sugar Land
Good Pricing, clean, faster service
Keemat is a great Indian grocery chain. They have excellent produce, a wide range of spices, grains, etc. Prices are quite reasonable. This store is very clean and spacious. It would be nice to not have to register with each store, most other chains are able to share that kind of information. If you havent visited an Indian forgery store before this is s good first choice.
Awesome place . Best customer service experience 👌 👏
I found it good for Asian products, store is recommended
They have a full supply of Indian tea & some Mediterranean foods. I go for my tea only. Many herbs, incense & herbal balms...hair improvement products ( some herbal). Some medicines for sunburn, face blemishes & cuts & scrapes...like cucumber. Lots of healthy teas!!
Extremely clean and well managed. Anil is a great person always there to help us. Im shopping wherever Anil works for last 20 yrs. On of the great things about Keemat groceries quality of the product and service. Please keep doing your great work. Thank you very much. Parveez
They have almost everything but be careful they sell expired stuff on discount rates. So if you are buying any packaged goods which are on sale make sure you check their expiration dates. It happened with me twice and they keep those expired stuff right in the front...And I know the date format is different because I’m an india too. I won’t leave a review if I’m not sure. We even took the cookies back to show to your employee and they verified that it was expired. So check your stuff before you put it on the shelf for the consumers to buy.
I live in the area and shop here regularly. This is a great place to shop on fresh veggies, including some hard to find ones. I love their kitchen store and its wonderful staff. Their chai is awesome and consistent. With the snack accompaniments, its a great place to just hang out, when you stop by.
Good place for Indian groceries!!
Great inventory of things. Price is reasonable. Better store to buy grocery.
My review is only for food court inside keemat. Have been going to this store from past 1 year for groceries and when ever I go, I get some snacks from their food court. Some times they were bad but definitely not worse. Today I bought veg biryani and samosas, both were really really worse. The rice is not at all cooked and samosas were frozen ones.
You can find lots of spices and lots kind of rice
Weve shopped at this location weekly for over a year. They are one of the largest Indian grocery stores in the Houston area. The produce section compares well with other Indian grocery stores, but their fresh food and snacks section is really great. Service is very good.
Great Indian market. If you are not familiar with the items, there is not much help from the employees. They are mostly at the registers or in the back where the bazaar is located. There is a good variety of Indian food, spices, veggies, drinks and snacks. They also have fresh and frozen foods.
You will not miss your grocery store from India if you shop here. The store only carries vegetarian items and is fairly cheaper than any other grocery store in Missouri City, Sugarland or Stafford and is of good quality. The store has a snack shop in it and serves fresh snacks in the evening. You might get the previous days prepare, if you buy in the morning.
Place had what I was looking for and very close to the house.
Clean store.. friendly staff. Have generally had very good experience buying from here. Main attraction is having plenty of fresh vegetables and fresh snacks.
Probably the cleanest Indian grocery store with an eclectic collection of Indian fare. Also the organic selection is quite varied.
I have ventured into Indian cooking. Some of the spices I needed were not available at the local megamart so I went here. They had what I needed and at a very reasonable price. The people were very nice. In fact two of them let me go ahead since I only had two items. This never happens at HEB. It is so refreshing to see people still being kind to one another.
Fresh Indian vegetables and groceries. You can also get CDs of old and new Indian movies here.
They have lots of spices that other stores do not offer. The Indian products are good and they have freshly prepared foods to go. Lots of excellent vegetables.
Clean and nice store
The staffs are very helpful. Always find out things if I dont find them of my own..
The most unhelpful sales staff. They have limited Meat and the Frozen ones i bought are nasty. Some packages were sitting on the shelves open. I pointed that out. But no response. I was not able to buy Milk and the bread was stale. No eggsTotally disappointed. Even if they specialize in Vegetarian items, i would say that all the vegetables they had were so gross. Old and expensive. Mythey were better when they opened. But they are not interested in people pleasing.i should have given them 1 star But i had to buy some Wheat Chappatis so i did.Their Carnation Evaporated Milk can was higher. It was $2.89 !All the Grocery Stores are no more or less than that!!Really came home feeling very bad.
Great product availability
They have moderate variety of Indian grocery and prices are reasonable too. The only thing because of which Im giving just one star is their customer service. Whenever I go for checkout, unluckily find the same girl again and again who would never bother to reply to simple hello. Again one can argue what to do with customer service over such places, but it matters.Overall they maintained their store well as long as the products are concerned.
First time in this store very friendly cahier and helpful.the samosa are the Best.
Its pretty good!
Great for Indian/and also for all others-one place shopping-grocery, produce, snacks, frozen/heat & eat items, Take-away fresh prepared food.Well managed by expert Managers and staff.
Nice clean a lot of Indian and Pakistani groceries spices vegetables and price is good
Good shop with lot of Indians delicacies sold within the grocery shop.
For all the Indian Groceries, Keemat is our go to place .
So have been going here for a few months now. They have almost everything an Indian would require to cook food. Their veggies are not really fresh as you would get in a Whole Foods or someplace like that, but are good enough that you can go home and cook them the same day. They have good rice and wheat flour and also various Haldiram packets which I love. My usual go to is their curry which they make in-house and you can get nice hot curries. They taste really good, as of now I have tried baingan bharta (curry from eggplant) and daal makhani (black lentil soup if you may, and I may be wrong in this translation) and they were really good. Its a great place to quickly shop what you need or you can stay and browse and it wont even take that long as its a nice little shop.
Great selection of spices. They also have prepared food to buy right there to eat. They have Limca, Thumbs Up, Sosyo and other juices . Also, great selection of fresh veggies. Could not find the Potato cocktail samosas, however. But, not a big deal, found everything else we came for.
Its good quality Indian Grocery store with great variety
Found this place pricey in comparison to our Indian stores . Also didnt have quite a few things. The vegetables where nice and fresh though, but again pricey.
They are fleecing. Extra ordinary expansive in some products. Better go to World Food Beechnut dr.
The store is very well organized. Staff cares about you. Dont hesitate to ask at the front desk, if you are looking for anything, in particular
They need to sale bacon and steak and also some fish ! So I can cook with the Indian stuff! This store needs to sale meat and fish
This place has most Indian food items. Drawback - staff does not speak much English. Parking is sufficient. Reasonably priced items. Check expiry dates before buying.
Keemat can offer to sell reusable bags in the billing counter and reduce use of plastic bags.
Good place for Indian grocery shopping. People are friendly and reasonably priced items. Big shop and carry all Indian groceries.
I have been coming here since they opened . One stop for all Indian and Pakistani groceries. They also have a nice fast food center where food is prepared daily.Vegetables are of good quality though not organic.Due to limited seating place its best if you take the cooked food to go.I would recommend most of the Indian snacks like bhel puri chhats etc.Their chai is excellent.
So glad to have a convenient grocery for basic recipe needs!!
Good store. Alot of variety, very well organized and prices are reasonable.
I simply love this place. Best place for buying Indo-pak groceries. Kaushal the manager is always at the help for customers and make you feel like home.
This is by far the best Indian store we have seen in the area. However they can improve on their layout and inventory.
I have been going to sugar land location for more than a year now. Except for few ladies most of the staff is rude and struggle with English thats ok if they do it with smile but they end up yelling at customers. Selection is good but sometimes I have found expired food or very near to expiry products on the shelves.
Great samosas, dhoka and tea. Good service.
Absolutely hands down the most helpful Personnel in the Indian grocery business the freshest foods and spices that Ive ever seen an Indian store i do recommend the trip out to Sugar Land or wherever they have a location to visit their stores
Great selection and prices and friendly staff
Good quality fast food, great groceries selection and convenient location!
The best sabudana khichadi, sabudana vada, samosas -- infact most of their rear kitchen food is amazing.
Great selection and friendly, helpful staff.
Great selection, price and service
Good Indian grocery store.
Not much spacious compare to other keemat stores. Checkout took too late.. queue standing but they wont open counters to fast things up. Tired of waiting to checkout.
Nice Indian Grocery. Nominal Price. fresh Vegetables.
Very nice clean place and fresh produce I was impressed
The best Indian grocery store. Very clean and organised. Price is also good.
The ladies in the back serving and making food as if they are doing you a favor for being their customer. Horrible service!!
I was tired from work and then a drs appointment for toddler and had no time to eat lunch, it was 5 pm. I thought to pick up something from Keemat. So now they put outside only for display and then bring what you order from Kitchen. So i asked for dhokla 1/2 plate and 2 samosas and thought to eat in car. When i opened the dhokla box in car there were 3 khammans(which i hate) instead of dhoklas. So i opened the samosa and as i start eating one i find that its re-fried. 😳There is no point of going back.. so i called them to inform and the lady sees eat this today next time take dhoklas. WTH..i wish i can give them 0 star for giving me 3 khamans instead of dhoklas for $3.
Fantastic fresh imported fruits and vegetables, authentic Indian food, canned goods, grains, spices! Worth visiting
