Their drive through is closed right now kinda backing up the whole pharmacy but the employees are trying their best. Short handed at the moment as well. Just takes awhile. Still my meds were filled and picked up. Everyone was kind.

Just the worst. Used to be great. Never answer phone. Spend half an hour to an hour on hold to be hung up on MORE THAN ONCE. Constant problems with running scripts and insurance. Never have anything done on time and have claimed more than once to have not received scripts when I have had direct confirmation from my doctor of script being sent and received. If I could give this pharmacy zero stars I would. The most disappointing customer service I have ever received from any store…ever.

Have now been in drive through line for 47 minutes and only one car has been served. No one answers the phone which is typical. Thought about going to bang on window and ask what was going on but thought better of it. Probably understaffed so pay more please. If there is a problem with the first car in line can you please ask them to come inside to resolve it instead of keeping everyone else waiting. Coming up on one hour and 10 minutes. Absurd for a national company.

They told me they received my sons script & that it would be ready in a few hours. 7 hours later not only was it not ready but they had lost the script. They said it was no where to be found. They had it because we had confirmed the date of birth & they gave me a wait time. Spent hours on the phone with customer service then was sent to a different walgreens to see if it had went there. Nope. This pharmacy is pure chaos. I do not recommend anyone try to fill here. It will either get lost or take the next days to fill. So now my sick 4 year old is with out his antibiotics until I can reach the clinic the next day.

I missed a call from pharmacy regarding my covid test, I called back around 5:15pm on Saturday and kept getting transferred and then hung up and called back about 5 times, and nothing. Called today since 10am (its 2:30 now), most of the time it just rings for 10 or more minutes, or somebody thats away from the store answers and cant help me, or I get transferred again and then wont get an answer. I dont understand why they could have just emailed my covid test results.

They kept me on hold for 30 minutes just to hang up on me THREE times this morning. Im displaced from a natural disaster and need to get my sons antibiotics transferred to another location. He needs his medicine! Completely unacceptable. I wish I could have given 0 stars.

I visited Walgreens on Saturday, 4/10/2021. The older lady working the makeup and perfume area was an absolute pleasure to talk to. She was so kind and helpful. I could tell that she actually cares about her job and customer service.

I have had to call 5 different times this morning. Each time as I was on hold for 30 min with the pharmacy picking up an putting me back on hold. Then once it hits 30 min exactly the phone hangs up. Not every one has the means to drive up there for something that can be done over the phone!!

Honestly the worst Pharmacy in the area. The staff always looks frazzled and like they are chickens without heads. The pharmacist never has time to talk to you and never looks towards the counter. They never answer the phone, good thing no one has an emergency. Medicine is never right, they never tell you if they are giving you generic brand, and they never give the right lancets. This place used to be so great and they have gone so far down hill. Will be taking my stuff elsewhere, not that they care.

Urgent care called in a prescription for me, about 10 minutes later I get a phone call from Walgreens saying there was an insurance issue. I called the pharmacy but was put in line which I was #3 in line. When I got to be my turn it would ring and then it would pick up and put me right back on hold . I was on hold for an hour and still no one answer and then they hung up on me. I called my insurance and asked the the problem and they said that Walgreens never even ran my insurance.

Pharmacist was EXTREMELY rude. I had dropped off the prescription around 2:00 PM, and they said to come after 5:00 PM the same day and it would be ready. I got a text around 5:00 PM saying it was ready. Got to the pharmacy at 5:30 PM and waited in line. There was a lady who just got out of surgery who needed medicine, and it was ready, but the pharmacist wouldn’t give it to her. There was another lady who has cancer and NEEDS her medicine, but the pharmacist just shook his head when she told him. I asked for my prescription back so that I could get it somewhere else (and so did other people), and they wouldn’t give it back. By far the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. The pharmacist said he wasn’t staying because he isn’t getting paid to stay after hours and has things to do. The pharmacist there does NOT need to be a pharmacist. My grandmother was a pharmacist in Louisiana for over 50 years, and she would stay after hours all the time, AND even go on Sundays when the pharmacy was supposed to be closed just to help people who were sick!! That’s what a real pharmacist does. This pharmacist clearly doesn’t care about anyone’s health, and I hope Walgreens’ corporate takes a look into this. Absolutely ridiculous.

Did the express pay that they advertise all over the store for prescriptions. Basically you pay online so you can come in and get out. I came in there is a line of 27 people I asked which line is the express line was told we are not doing that today this is the 4th time I have been told we are not doing that today. There are so many bad reviews for this walgreens it is unreal. Nothing ever changes. It is sad I have took all my meds but one to another pharmacy but still have to come here as they are the only drug store that carries one of mine. This place needs to change

Ive been going to Walgreens for a long time for my prescriptions the doctor gave me prescription of some cholesterol medicine 90 pills at a time and three refills before November now theyre saying no it was for 30 pills and it only brings it to one prescription refill and by the way is $50 cheaper at Walmart so I had it transferred to Walmart this is how this all got screwed up they was okay with it as long as I was getting my pills there

Horrible! Went to ER. Found I have kidney stones. Dropped off 3 prescriptions at 7pm. It is now 12:37pm the following day, still waiting on antibiotics, nausea meds, and pain medication. Had to return to ER for nausea/pain due to WALGREENS on Beglis Parkway in Sulphur, La, slow, don’t care service! I should bill them for the second trip. Absolutely ridiculous! This place has been bad way before Covid came along. So we can’t blame it on the pandemic. If I could give this location a minus 10 rating, I would!

I’ve never made a bad review but this pharmacy is the WORST I’ve ever been to. I waited on hold for thirty minutes then got hung up on had to call back and wait an additional time for them to tell me “we can’t help you”. The staff is extremely rude and every single time I go they have a problem verifying my insurance which is the same exact insurance every time. They never have the medicine ready and their wait time is over five hours. If I could give this pharmacy zero stars I would.

Worst walgreens Ive ever been to. You wait in line for over an hour. They tell you 90 min to refill a prescription which became 6 hours and 15 min. At this point the only way to help this store is to close it down. Taking my business elsewhere.

If I could give no stars I would. This is the worst Pharmacy I’ve ever been to in my life! I will never go here again. The Walgreens pharmacy on Cities Service hwy is a billion times better. Save your time and energy go elsewhere. They are SUPER SLOW and RUDE!

Slowest service, rude staff, waited almost 30 minutes at the windows to simply drop off an RX. Come back and now over 20 minutes at the window and still havent had a person answer the call button. Not only an I sick but I am trying to get to work, this is ridiculous!!!

Terrible service. Went inside because drive thru was backed up. Waited about 10 minutes before i got helped. Maybe a little longer. Was told only 1 of my scripts were ready when i had gotten a text saying they were both ready. That i would have to wait another hour to get 2nd script. Went to the side and another associate said she would check on it. 1st associate came back saying i needed to leave. Go home was her specific words. That she told me it would be a while and she wasnt skipping others. I went to the manager but im sure nothing will be done. And yes i got her name. Rude. Inconsiderate to others.

The pharmacists and pharmacy technicians at this Walgreens are by far the rudest. My husband is a journeyman electrician and we travel a lot because of it, so the address listed in the system is different than the address I have here and different from the address on my license. Every time I’ve been through the drive thru, they are incredibly rude towards me. I have a prescription for a narcotic (which I’ve been prescribed to for YEARS) and in all my life that I’ve went to drop a prescription off I’ve never been asked for my license WHEN I GO TO DROP IT OFF. Now, legally and even under Walgreens policy, you are not required to ask for identification when someone is dropping off a prescription; however for pickup it is different. I’ve been asked for my ID the last couple of times just when I went to drop it off. I’ve filled in Wyoming, New Mexico, Texas, Arkansas and central Louisiana and this is my first experience with being carded to DROP OFF my medication, be asked so many questions about it when DROPPING IT OFF. I’m not as much aggravated about the time it takes to do that, to confirm identity at both the drop off point as well as the time that I pick it up; but the overall attitude of the employees that work here. Other than that, the people who work here are rude, impatient and blatantly ignore any pleasantries. They really need to read back through their training manual for their ethics policy as well as learn how to be warm towards customers. I have an Bachelor’s Degree in Health Information Management and I can tell you that they really are unprofessional at this pharmacy in the way that they speak to people. I will not use this pharmacy anymore. I would rather drive across town to Lake Charles or to Moss Bluff than have to deal with any of the employees here.

If you’re not dealing with the pharmacy then it great but if you’re dealing/waiting for the pharmacy be ready to wait for at least 10 mins! It’s beyond ridiculous to have to wait that long when they really aren’t that busy. Need more or better staff!!

SLOW isnt the word and has only gotten worse since Rite Aid was bought out. They desperately need more pharmacy assistants to speed up the pickup line. Walgreens is normally more expensive than other pharmacies. My chances are greater at winning the lottery than them answering the telephone.The only reason I continue to use them is they are a 24 hour pharmacy.

It was an awful place to work. Even as a cashier I had a max of three days training and it was only on the register itself not on filling anything or putting up tags. I had come over from Rite Aid full of optimism but after two months of constant panic attacks or crying my eyes out before going in I had to quit. The management was incredibly unhelpful in training and a manager named Charles took two hours just to bring me change for my drawer when I had been the only cashier open aside from the pharmacy and our photo counter.The atmosphere at the workplace was always tense and uncompromising. The cashiers were expected to make up for the pharmacies poor reviews by a stellar performance. This was the worst place Ive ever worked and Im so sorry it took this long to write this review but I had to get this off my chest. And by the looks of staff on the occasion I pick up a phone charger nothing has changed anyhow.

So our Pharmacy has ALWAYS been Rite Aid. My son came home so unbelievably sick from school (he is 7) complaining of his upper stomach hurting, he cant eat, drink, tired, just wants to sleep. Yesterday he had a checkup to see how his Adderall 5mg was doing and so far so good so she wanted to keep it all the same until after the Holidays. Well Rite Aid was out of his meds, so low and behold, we ran to Walgreens. Just put two and two together. Had to call his Dr and our regular Pharmacy to see the MG from last month and then called his Dr for the one from yesterday. Our regular pharmacy was out of his meds yesterday so we had to go to another Pharmacy to fill them, which was Walgreens. Come to find out the Pharmacy messed up and gave him 25mg, instead of 5!!! This baby is so sick and if this nausea meds dont work, looks like we will be taking him in. I will never, never use Walgreens again. I have never seen my child so sick to his stomach. We got home and he went straight to bed.UPDATE ON LUKEHe finally was able to eat (he wanted pizza so thats exactly what we got) he ate one slice, but better than nothing and he was able to hold it down. I have never been so terrified in my life than I was tonight. My husband ran into walmart to get him some nausea medicine and I was pacing in the parking lot calling the nurses and Pharmacy to see who made this awful mistake and what we should do. This wasnt no little mistake to be swept under the rug, this was very dangerous and could have really hurt my child or worst. The head Pharmacist from Walgreens will be calling me tomorrow and Im going to do whatever I have to do so this woman doesnt do this again to someone else-maybe they wont be as lucky as we were. This is dangerous stuff to be messing up on. My child got very sick from this mistake and Im not taking this matter very lightly.

I had a great experience at this walgreens. My cashier Jenny was super nice and helped me out alot. My rewards points werent showing and she voided and re-did the transaction like 4 times until we finally got it right and had no complaints doing it. Thank you for turning what could have been a nightmare into a great shopping experience! Also wanted to add that there is a few bad reviews for the pharmacy, but every time I went in there, there were about 10 people in line. Of course you may have to wait a little when there are a lot of people ahead of you! Call it in and they will have it ready.

Rude night staff, and evening pharmacy tech older lady is very rude, for no reason. They never have anything I need, its like they only get a truck once a month. Store is not stocked well, photo department is a mess, and make-up department is always a mess as well.
