AMAZING food for a very fair price. Service was fast and the staff was very polite. The outdoor seating is right next to the road so its a little loud, but cozy and very nice. Will defintely come again. The chicken pesto sandwich is a 10/10. 😋

I have been here many times, and service is always been great. This time was trash. Ordered my sandwiches, they were out of sourdough which I understand with the shortages on stuff lately. Put my order in and paid for it, and waited. The five groups that came in after me all got their food and I asked if my order was done and she turns around and grabbed it off the counter and hands it to me. It had been so long that she forgot I had already paid for my food when I ordered it. Maybe pay attention to the customers instead of walking to the back after every order and laughing with your friends. I wont be back. Took over a half an hour to get two sandwiches.

The sandwich matches the picture 😉I asked for the best sandwich on the menu and I was smiling from the moment I laid eyes on their homemade freshly designed Turkey bacon club... crisp bacon 🥓 in each bite, evenly layered with avocado & a good helping of Turkey...Washed it down with a nice lunch Pint (Hefeweizen)! Do yourself a favor and dine in if you can, great place to chill and the staff is very attentive and full of life!! I will be back for sure!!

Hot pastrami sandwiches are hot . Their breakfast sandwiches equally as good. Havent tried everything yet but Ill be back for more. Also the place is clean and service is good

This is a very nice cafe for the industrial workers within the area. Delicious sandwiches, cozy, excellent customer service & well managed. The best part of this place is their sandwiches, I’ve tried several at this point and I love the Turkey Cranberry sandwich. Very delicious and perfectly seasoned. I recommend this place to anyone. It’s also a nice place to chill.

I understand they are busy, but it took about 30 minutes from driving in to driving out. The lady brought our food and said it was right out the oven. It was cold. It would have been better just to apologize. It was a tasty BLT. The Americano was good and hot. We got that in the window.

I really like this place, they have great food and coffee but the customer service isnt great and Im not impressed with their online ordering. I order from here weekly for lunch and I know how busy they get so I order ahead online so I dont waste my half hour lunch waiting. I arrived 10 minutes after my order was supposed to be ready and had to wait another 10 minutes until it was ready. Ive worked in customer service, I understand it gets busy but I ordered ahead to avoid this. When I arrived there were 3 workers outside taking pictures of drinks. Its frustrating to see people standing around and on their phones with no sense of urgency. I want to continue supporting this business but not if Im going to be late back to work after ordering ahead

They close early. But I love there Hot Pastrami sandwiches. They also have a good selection of beer on tap that you can enjoy on a covered patio. Nice little place for a bite and a beer.

The food was great! We sat outside and I had my little dog with us. Three workers came out with a bowl of water and treats for her. Will go back. Treat my dog right and youve got a loyal customer!

Excellent quality of food. I will never complain about the wait because the reality is they are as efficient as it gets without comprising quality. THIS IS RARE! I tried the TBA and was not disappointed and Im very picky about sliced sandwich meat. Perfectly toasted, ratio of contents were excellent. I am very glad I got the half size as these are not skimpy sandwiches. I would rather eat at a local place than an inconsistent franchise. My hub had the Cuban and loved it. We cant wait to come back and try something else.

A bit different than what we expected; its small and in a somewhat industrial setting. Thought there would be views of the water or Mt Ranier. Food and beverages were great and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Our first time here today and I think this our new favorite spot close to home. Their breakfast was so good and the gals working were so nice. Everything was extremely fresh and came out really quick.

It’s sad to give a low review, but the service at Rivers Edge is Horrible, Horrible! They have good food, however not worth an hour wait for a sandwich. When I asked if they had curbside pick up they said no. And when I said I had to wait for 15 minutes in the drive-thru just to pay for my sandwich I had called in 45 minutes earlier, the server was Rude and said well that’s normal…. Then she walked away and didn’t give me my debit card back, I had to wait for another server to ask for my card!!! Unfortunately this is not the first time I have experience such unsatisfactory customer service, and I have given them a number of chances.

I discovered Rivers Edge Cafe through Uber Eats almost 2 years ago and have been a drive up regular ever since. The food is high quality, the drinks are delicious (alcohol and coffee), and the owner/staff are super nice and helpful.Call ahead and use the drive through or sit outside on a nice day. Both are awesome options and cheaper than ordering through a third party website!*warning* Call ahead if you aren’t planning to sit down and relax as the food takes 20 minutes to prepare, on average, due to the fresh ingredients and popularity of the cafe.

Went there for the first time today because I wanted a Cuban sandwich. The place opens at 5 which is great when you need to start your day early. The sandwich was very good and it was very close to an original. It just needs to be pressed then its authentic. The atmosphere is very nice and the service is great. They have lots of sandwiches to choose from. Ill be going there often for sure even though I live in Orting.

This is such a great little lunch joint. They have mimosas and some beer on tap. They also have delicious sandwiches (hot and cold) along with soup and I believe everything is homemade. Its very delicious. Their chili, when in season, is really tasty also. Most chili is too spicy and/or too bland in my experiences. But Rivers Edge has great chili. I highly recommend 👌

It doesnt look like much more than a drive through coffee stand. If thats what you were thinking youd be WRONG. Forget the coffee! This place is all about the AMAZING sandwiches! Cold or warm or toasted! Wraps or salads. They also have a breakfast selection that is fantastic. So many delicious choices it makes it hard to pick! My favorite is the Cuban. Oh. My. Gawd!

Very nice place for lunch. Had the loaded potato soup, delicious. Rich and loaded with potatoes and bacon. Wife had the chicken, bacon ranch wrap. It was big and very good. Atmosphere was friendly and the place was clean and neat.

I really enjoying coming to this restaurant whenever I am in Sumner. I appreciate the great customer service I receive everytime I eat here. The food is always fresh and delicious. I usually get what ever they have on special that day, today it was a roast beef sandwich and potato soup. It doesnt seem like alot of food but they pile the sandwich with veggies and meat, the soup was the perfect amount more than a cup but less than a bowl. Their sandwich and soup combo is a good deal, I added a coke and paid less than $10.See ya next time!

Omg, they make the best sandwiches!I had to work in the area for a few weeks and needed lunch options. After trying other places first, and not too impressed, I then found this slice of heaven!I love the blt and have had three thus far and they were consistently great!! Whats more is that they are not overpriced. Great staff that is very helpful with questions and ideas.When Im in the area and need food, this will be my go-to from now on!

Came in the morning for coffee, and there service was amazing and coffee was excellent. I was tempted by the food so came back for lunch. Got the Cuban and the food was delicious, the flavors were mingled in away that made your mouth explode with flavor. Definitely recommend if your here in town to stop by and try.

The ladies here today were beyond rude, I ordered my sandwich and they failed to tell me it was going to be a 30 minute wait outside in my car, I asked them about it and the gal just walked away from me and didn’t say a word. Excellent food and a very broad menu of food items for the size of the restaurant. Staff was pro and good very good. Parking is very easy. Only negative is thats its smaller so only about 8 or less tables.

Googled best Cuban sandwich near me and this place came up and here we are. So glad we came. The Cuban is a sandwich worth getting; juicy and plenty of pork. Staff is friendly and attentive and music over the speakers is on point. Well be back!
