Friday night is open mic night great little local venue for playing or listening to music sipping a cappuccino, local microbrew or wine.Great environment outdoor eating or sit around the fireplace inside.

Morning coffee or afternoon Micro Brew and Wine. Nice place, well staffed with genuine people wanting to provide great customer service. A+

By far the best coffee shop, and a plus, they have great tasting wines and amazing microbrewed beers that are local to the PNW. Great environment, owned by a woman, extremely inclusive place with an amazing staff.

Excellent beer and all around chill atmosphere

Came here most mornings before work for the last couple months. The shop opens at 6, which seems a bit late for a coffee shop, but its fine. Lots of seating, games, local music, personable and friendly employees. Great atmosphere. Would recommend.

Only been here for the coffee. I love it. I was a Starbucks fan until I tried Urban Timber. Now I come here more. Even in the mixed coffee drinks the coffee flavor is still strong, not watered down. Staff is great and well trained. A few pastries, I wish they had more. Great chill atmosphere. I love coming here with my boys and sitting on the couch and playing board games. This is the kind of local spot we need more of.

Service was great, and despite not having an item we ordered in stock, they were laid back about changing the order. Staff was friendly and the atmosphere was lively. Wasnt terribly fond of my drink—found the coffee to be quite bitter and woody tasting, but Id be very willing to go back and try their other available drinks. Definitely worth a try!

Love the smell of coffee! Good choices of beer and they also have cider and wine. Ordered the pork belly flatbread and it was delicious. The waiter offered to replace the ghost pepper cheese if it would be too spicy, but if youre a spice lover its perfect for you

I visited to support a friend who was doing a live show. Had a tasty milkshake. Very trendy looking and artistic interior. The on wall menu doesnt mention any of the food that they offer and I was disappointed to discover that they offered food only as I was leavingand saw someone getting a pizza.They could have done better advertising this fact.I looked and looked for a food menu and only found them tucked in a small niche that wasnt immediately obvious unless you were actually looking for them :(

Has a well trained crew of berista who are knowledgeable with any possible combination of milk and coffee. Offer non-dairy options as well. Food is great and beer selection is good. Perfect atmosphere for any occasion. The open mic nights on Fri are free and feature some amazing artist.

I come here all the time to work and meet with clients. It’s such a large space that it hardly ever feels overly loud or crowded! And they always are so consistent with their drink quality, I will drive out of the way to stop here over any of the other places nearby because I know I can count on them. Also would love more trivia nights in the future!

Would have rated it higher but they kept running out of menu items we would have liked to order. The music was great, though. Taylor John Hardin is a multi-facited artist who is comfortable in genres spanning 6 decades. A real treat to enjoy.

Super fun environment. I often do the all ages open mic nights on Friday’s and I really enjoy it. I highly recommend this place for hanging out, going for open mic, or even getting some work done.

This is a great place to go and get online. Also a great place to meet people and have a nice coffee or similar drink. Plenty of Room for parking, friendly staff and lots of different seating options

Great atmosphere and great service. I come here on a weekly basis to do some work. The staff is always friendly and engaging. And to top things off, the food is really good, as well as the coffee.UPDATE: Black drip coffee was always my drink of choice, but my last few visits, the coffee has been grainy and almost undrinkable. The Americanos also declined. The food is still good, just steer clear of the drip coffee.

This place is very large, defy a great place to meet up with friends. I got a chia tea latte and it was one of the best I have had. They have a few different diary alternative milks which is always a huge plus! The service was quick as well and friendly.

Stopped here for breakfast on our way in to Rainier and then again a few days later on our way out. Good value for the food and the coffee was excellent. Everyone was very friendly. And although it was to early to have any beer, they have great taps!

This place has a good atmosphere. I sat and worked on some illustrations for two hours. I bought a matcha latte and was pleasantly surprised by the quality. The only thing I would change is the type of music that was played. The music was more geared towards the beer and wine drinkers. There was a good mix of folks. That being said, the dominant crowd was mid 30s and older.

Great coffee and apple fritters. However, call ahead if your going to go there to have a conversation. If they have music going on you wont get a conversation in. (There music is great, just to loud for conversation) love the place plan on going many more times.

Food and drinks were great. Friendly staff. It didnt feel open since their was a lot of seating and tables but otherwise its a great place.

I give this place two stars because they had a great beer selection but there food and service was poor. I asked if the veggie flat bread had any milk ingredients in it because I have an allergy. She said no it doesnt so I ordered it. When I received my flat bread it was covered in pesto, which wasnt listed on the menu and notoriously has milk in it. So I asked another waitress to double check if the pesto had milk in it. She came back and she yes in fact it did contain milk. I was so mad I asked for a box and informed her that I had asked the other waitress and couldnt eat my meal. They didnt apologize or offer a refund for me they just looked at me with this blank stare! Then I just left! Really unprofessional and dangerous! Not knowing the menu and not checking for allergies is ridiculous! Bottom line dont eat or drink her if you have an allergy!

I just went through their drive through and ordered a sandwich and peppermint mocha. They no longer had the sand which because they were going through some changes.. ehh okay not that big of a deal. What upset me was they wouldn’t honor an old gift card because they were switching systems. Then tells me my total is 16 bucks for a coffee and sandwich. I was slightly appalled 😆. She slightly talked to me like a child too, which I also didn’t care for. But the guy who first came up was pretty cool! Sandwich was good too, but I’d pass on the coffee

Food is good, coffee is better. It takes a little while to get your order, even when theres no one there, but it has a great atmosphere, and even has micro brews on tap. Ill be back.

Urban timber coffee is a great place! Loved the atmosphere & of course the coffee. Highly recommend when in the area.

I have tried this place 3 or 4 times. Its ok at best. Ive ordered coffee in the drive thru twice. Both times they forgot cream. Meat and cheese plate once, it came with no meat. This time I went inside the drink was good, the bathroom was a mess it had to have taken sometime to get to that state. Its nice inside otherwise. Fine enough to catch up with a friend.

I am not a coffee drinker so this review is not based on their product. My wife however is a coffee lover so I stop here frequently to get her drinks. The service is absolutely terrible. The people are nice, nothing personal towards them but the wait times are absurd. I have had multiple occasions having to wait over 10-20 minutes in the drive thru for a single drink. It really is ridiculous and they need to work on their speed and processes

Great environment. I didnt have any food or drink on my first visit, but my friends rave about it and I definitely enjoyed the environment. They have a stage for live music and a stash of games for hanging out with friends.

Great place to gather with friends. The let our craft ladies come and sit to knit and paint rocks. Very polite hostesses.

Its like any other coffee shop that isnt star bucks. Its name says it all. Its a hipster coffee shop that trys to give you a country feel. Honestly a waste of time, unless your into wanting to pretend to be country or a hipster. Sorry, if i decide to spend $8 on coffee, I will just go to a normal coffee shop.I feel like I needed a man bun and a long beard to fit in. Also they have a bar. Cuss what coffee shop shouldnt have a bar too?!?!

I love urban timber in Sumner WA but i just stopped by to work as i do sometimes and they are locked up, dark, with a sign on the door that says closed for business. SAD DAY!

Coffee and adult drinks are good. I have been in several times and ordering food is kinda odd. There doesnt seem to be much of a kitchen, yet there is a large menu. I ordered a cheese tray and I heard them debate who was going to prepare it. Many of the other food items seem to be microwave fare. Often the items on the menu are unavailable. I just sticbc k to coffee or wine now.

We have always liked the place. Dog friendly for the outside tables and drive through. Church oriented. Good food. Community oriented. We are regulars.

Got an iced coffee that had about 3 ice cubes in it. Asked for more ice and was apologized to but then I only got about 6 ice cubes, making the entire drink pretty lukewarm even after stirring. And there was so mucb cream in it that it was inedible. Staff was decent but that drink was garbage and after a couple times of it happening I wont be returning.

Serving Dillanos Coffee gets the 3 stars here. Nice shop and placement, but you definately can do better with your coffee choice. Dillanos decaf espresso is absolutely horrible.

Staff were nice. Coffee was weak and just not good at all. Also, theyll charge for a even a splash of any milk alternatives...even tho half and half is free.I find policies like this rude, opportunistic and inhospitable.Wont be back.
