Great eye Doctor located in Sunrise Walmart. Dr. Phil, is very clear, gentle and concise, when exampling and dealing with your eye issues. I felt well informed and educated after each visit to his location in Walmart. Your eyes are very important and he conveys that, with how he handles them and you. Plus, he has a great receptionist/assistant at the front desk... I would recommend this location to my mother.

It took a long time to find a keratoconus specialist for my son, when I found Sunrise Eye Care immediately my son was no longer afraid. All his fears and anxieties about loosing his vision was no longer a challenge . The staff was friendly and Dr. Hairman educational talks about the eye condition and solutions was very comforting and helpful. My son’s eyes are doing good and he’s a happy young man again.

Dr. Haiman is the most thorough Optometrist that I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. He addressed every problem with detailed explanations, presented solutions and encouragement. Dr. Haiman is a very caring and knowledgeable doctor! I filled out the form on his website to schedule an appointment. He was so concerned with the issues I was describing that he me contacted me at night to set up an appointment. He actually emailed me several times that night. When I arrived for my appointment, his office is clean and practices covid safety. As he conducted each test he told me what he was doing, why he was doing it, and what it would show. Once in the exam room he explained everything going on with my eye in detail using my images vs normal images. He stopped between each test result to make sure we understood and to see if we had questions. Dr, Haiman not only was very thorough with his testing, explanation of my issues, but he made sure we understood as well, and again contacted me the evening after my appointment. I highly recommend his office!!!

Im so pleased with the excellent service provided by Dr. Haiman and his staff. I need to wear scleral lenses because of a condition I have that does not allow me to use regular contact lenses. Scleral lenses are specialty lenses that are custom fit to your eye. I completely recommend anyone having issues with your eye sight and are not able to wear regular contacts to go here and see if scleral lenses will work for you. Trust me, you will be so happy you did.

I am really happy with my scleral lens. Ive been going to dr Heyman for several years now and am always satisfied with his treatments I was a bit sceptical at first  because they were so big but after overcoming the fear and trying them they are actually more comfortable than the regular smaller RGP lens it allows me to see a lot better and I dont have to wear 2 contact lens in one eye. Because the regular  RGP lens were so uncomfortable I would have to put a soft lens on first and then that RGP lens for comfort but with the scleral lens I dont have to do that, its big enough to cover the eye so I dont feel like something is constantly scratching my eye . It is very comfortable I would recommend trying it at least once

I was having really bad irritation in both eyes, Dr. Phillip and his team are very knowledgeable and caring, Dr. Haiman also explains everything so detailed, I really appreciated that as my other Optometrists never explained anything to me, He also listens to the patient and has many options for dry eyes if one doesn’t work on to the next to tryout, he never gives up and is always looking for ways to improve and go above and beyond to help, and is always advancing to find the next best invention I would definitely recommend them to everyone.

I would not recomend Sunrise Eye Care! I inquired about the fees prior to visiting due to the fact that I am currently unemployed. I was given a quote of $76.00 by the time I checked out they managed to double my visit by telling me that I have a diagnosis. Perhaps, prior to that they should have asked me if I wanted to have an additional test that requires an additional fee!!!

The staff is very kind, the office is very clean, and Dr. Haiman is very patient with all my questions. I get nervous when I have to get my eyes dilated, just because I get nervous about a lot of things, but once he started the exam and we start chatting I feel comfortable. He really knows how to explain things so that you can be completely be informed. He is kind, patient, and informative. I don’t ever feel rushed. I would definitely recommend him!

I want to share a positive review. Dr. Haiman called me personally wanting to correct my prescription free of charge. This all I wanted from the beginning. I am glad everything worked out in the end.Thank you Dr. Haiman.

Everyone was polite, but I believe I was scammed into paying for more than the eye exam. My eyes were dilated, but my eyesight never changed. The doctor said It looked like I have a slight glaucoma, but I feel that was just said to activate the $144.00 charge. Also said I only needed reading glasses, but i have trouble seeing at a distance. I feel like I was duped. I will be going to a real optometrist and not to one inside a Walmart to get rechecked.

Dr. Haiman was so sweet and I have never been to an eye doctor that was this friendly! I was diagnosed with a medical condition that he said other eye doctors should have been able to see, and I am thankful that I decided to see him when I did.I am also without insurance, and he provided resources other than Marketplace that he knew of to help me try to find an affordable plan for a college student. This, to me, was invaluable, as the fight to get affordable and quality healthcare has been a battle from below.The prices for the exam and the additional testing was more than I expected to pay, BUT the price goes up if additional testing is done or a diagnosis is made (which both were conducted). I spend a little less than $200 with this office. However, the quality of care and service made every penny spent worth it. The young front office lady was so sweet too.They are located in the Wal-Mart Supercenter near the Sawgrass Mills Mall. The eyeglass store right next to the office fills any eyeglass prescription needs. Do keep in mind that this doctors office does NOT set the prices, policies, or procedures of this eyeglass frame store; this is all Wal-Marts thing.

Dr. Haiman was great my son liked him. The only inconvenience I had was that I was told by the receptionist the eye exam with insurance will be only $20. By the end of the consult I was charged $144. I wish they would have told me up front the cost the information I got was mislead I’m very disappointed that I had to pay out of pocket.

I am really disappointed with my visit to Dr. Phillip Halman in the lab sunrise eye care, the lack of ethics and professionalism. I clarified in the template of my clinical history that my budget was only to cover the cost of the simple exam to be able to renew my lenses and at the end of the consultation they tell me that I owe more than double what was agreed, I feel cheated and humiliated by the doctor Phillip also made me feel humiliated by telling me that he was going to send me to another place that they would charge me more for examining me.

I have been coming to Dr Haiman for 14 years and he is the absolute best eye Dr. in the world. He is of a calm and patient nature and so very knowledgeable. He has the newest, most high tech equipment in the industry housed in a clean and friendly environment and his staff is always warm and friendly. I drive over 1 hour each way just to see him and have flown back 12k miles from overseas when Im traveling because I wont let anyone else touch my eyes.. hes that good!

Dr. P. Haiman was exceptional and knowledgeable in eye care. He assured me that my injured eye will healed successfully because I was scared of the possibility of losing my eye-sight. The staff was awesome as well.

Recently had the blephartis test where the doctor cleaned my eye lids to remove all the excess junk clogging up my tear ducts and eye lash folicles. At first i admit it was kind of scary but in the end it felt great. My eyes felt better were less dry and itchy. Ive done this twice now and would suggest it to others

This place is a SCAM. They do your test and then ask you to pay a huge amount. The asking my husband to pay $400 for a visit and then another $200 after that. That is CRAZY!!! Do not go.
