I can’t say enough about the service we received from Rudy! He is not from NC, was on vacation and we happen to pick up conversation and he so graciously took time out of his vacation to come repair our garage door. Amazing! Definitely recommend him 1000%. If he is willing to take time out from vacation can’t imagine his service in his home state.

Awesome company. My tension springs broke and they had someone out to my house the same day. Also, it was pouring down rain when they got to my house and instead of rescheduling, the service techs made it happen. Prices were very fair and communication and reliability were excellent. I will definitely be calling them back for all my future needs and will happily refer them out.

Antoinette the office manager, the person who answer my call got my attention for her sincere and friendly demeanor (I did not call other companies for a quote). Rudy came to quote my garage door, (he is a character) he gave me a great price for my garage door, they did a great job. The installers George & Vinnie were very courteous and professional. Rudy Jr. took care of quality control and permits. Since they did such a good job, I hire them to install my house shutters. Thanks

I’ll jump right into it. The installation process went well. Then I brought up that the property will be getting power soon and then we would be able to test the motors. Rudy replied: what motors? I continued and asked: did your estimator not catch that the double garage has 2 junction boxes where the motors are located? He replied that it was overlooked but he would send me another proposal (or what we call in the business) a Change Order. I obliged and went with it. After they completed the installation and I made the final payment I reached out to him for information on the garage doors (I was pulling the permits so needed the NOA’s and Carbon Monoxide hazard stickers that the inspector had requested) and that’s when he ghosted me. I tried calling, I tried texting, I tried emailing and not even out of courtesy to say that he could or could not help did he reply a simple basic text. And it’s bothersome to me because I am a General Contractor and it’s behavior like that that gives all contractors a bad rep. He got paid and then disappeared. He was aware that the garage was going to be permitted, he was aware that the garage was motor operated yet I was the one who had to install the wall mounted touch pad and align the garage sensors so that I could pass my inspection which, as the permit holder, is my responsibility to double check that all is up to standards and functional prior to inspection. But the fact that I had to finish the last touches is not my concern, my issue lies with him not having the decency to respond in any shape or form when I needed additional info in order to close out my permit. All this went down during the Xmass holiday and I figured well he’s probably out of the country and is not getting my messages and then I saw this page where it states that he’s been working during the holidays and then it dawned on me that he just didn’t care to respond. Whatever happened to customer service? Not good business practice, I’ll just leave it at that.

A Plus Mega Garage Doors are down right the most honest people ive dealt with by far in the garage business. Their prices are fair whether its buying a new garage door, or opener if not a broken spring repair or new rollers they dont overcharge for their products and labor. And thats what I mean by the most honest guys in the business. By Far !!

I had an appointment to have my garage door repaired/springs replaced. The day went by and no one ever called me to say they werent coming. That is NOT acceptable customer service. I will NOT recommend them to anyone. Ill stay with Broten.
