Poor customer service. Talked to Daniel about our extremely well cared for GEM car not keeping a charge. Said it was likely the batteries but theyd have to take a look. Also recommended a Top to bottom, front to back annual service. They picked it up and contacted us a few days later. Turns out the batteries were bad. Told them No problem, just do whatever it needs. Daniel said they did the annual inspection/service and everything looked good. Paid almost $3,000 and the cart was dropped off the next day...with a good sized scuff on the front end, lights not working, and no power to the stereo. I called Daniel and all he could tell me was that he wasnt the one that worked on it. Said the problem was probably the auxiliary battery under front hood and that I should fix it myself. When I told him that I shouldnt have to work on my own cart after spending $3k, he said that they could take a look at it...but Id have to pay another pick-up and deliver fee. WHAT??!!! Told him that wasnt acceptable. He said hed have the Tom the owner give me a call.Not surprised....I never heard from anyone.Go somewhere else...I will.

The Horner Group did a great job replacing the brakes on my 2001 GEM car but also checked my batteries, lights, horn, and frame integrity. They repaired the issues they found at a very reasonable price.
I have had 3 dealings with Horner Golf Cars regarding my GEM golf cart. They truly understand customer service, and have nothing but good to say about having my cart repaired there. I think they have always been very fair about the cost of repairs, and they provide transportation to pick up and return my cart. Paul, Dan, Elizabeth, and Tom have always been friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Horner Golf Carts.
WARNINGIN MY OPINIONI HAD A TERRIBLE BUSINESS EXPERIENCE DEALING WITH MR. TOM HONER OF HONER GROUP LLC. GOLF CARS.I purchased a used Club Car from Mr. Tom Honer in December 2015. I paid the full asking price, plus I had Honer Golf Cars install a unique starter key system and turn signals and blinkers. I also had them swap in a new motor to increase overall cart speed.I paid $200.00 just to have the turn signal and blinker work completed. After the work was completed, I expressed a concern that the blinker lights could not been seen by other vehicles on the road because of their placement behind the bumper, and that I considered the cart to be unsafe. Mr. Honer told me that turn signals and blinkers were not required by law in Arizona. I again told him that I did not think he had supplied a safe golf cart to me. Subsequently Mr Honer charged me an additional $106.00 for parts and shop fees to address the turn signal blinker issue.When I purchased the Club Car from in December of 2015, Mr. Honer informed me that the batteries in the cart were new in 2014. Subsequently the batteries all failed in March of 2016 … three months after purchase. The replacement bill was $1100.00.Since I questioned the way I had been dealt with by his company, Mr. Honer became argumentative and rude, and repeatedly told me I was a terrible customer. In the end, I paid all monies owing to the Honer Group, since I did not want to let this most unpleasant business experience upset me any further.I should mention that my dealings with Elizabeth, who works the front desk and Daniel, the in house mechanic, were very positive. I was treated with respect and professionalism by these two employees at all timesI personally will never deal with this company again, and would suggest that that any potential customers take the time to investigate the reputation of Honer Group LLC, and avoid being treated in the unfair, insulting and disrespectful manner that I received from this business.Kevin O’NeillSun City West, Az.
We decided to buy a new golf cart a few days ago and we returned to Horner where we found exactly what we wanted. Super nice people to deal with and highly recommend them.
