Max Automotive was great. My Jeep had been in storage for the past 11 years. Got it running 6 months ago with an over haul of everything. I wasnt sure if the breaks were in good condition or not. Dropped it off and asked if they could also install the frame to the shifter boot as well. They called and said I had 50% life still left on all the breaks and didnt charge me a dime. Not even for the shifter boot install. What a great company. I will definitely be back. Thanks Max Automotive.

I called and spoke with Jenny, she told me to bring it right in. When I got there, I was greeted by her mom Kathy. Within minutes, her husband Terry had my car up on the lift. He had me come back and showed me what he was looking at. Then he took it out for drive. Came back in a few minutes and had me ride with him, to see if we were on the same page with the noise.I left my car with them at 5pm and I had a call the next morning that it was all done. When all was said and done, the price they charged me was more than fair. I was extremely happy.My family will be taking all of our vehicles to Max from now on... seriously a relief to have found good people.

Wow!!! I have always had a very hard time finding a trustworthy and honest mechanic. This establishment is family owned and easily one of the most professional places I have ever been to. I came in for a simple oil change and terry even brought me to the floor and showed me that I should replace my shocks very soon and also gave me a price estimate. From the moment I called to the time I came in everyone was very friendly and welcoming. Definitely going to come here from now on for all my auto needs and will definitely be referring my family here. Highly recommend. They are extremely price friendly and even give a discount for paying in cash.

Terry is extremely knowledgeable about cars and has been doing this for a while. This is one of the only places that I trust, other mechanics will try to gip you out of your money by using scare tactics. This is not the case here, when ever there was an issue Terry has taken me back to the car, explained to me what was going on and gave me multiple options. Highly recommend!

I wish I didn’t even have to give this review any stars. My daughter was having issues with her car last week. It was overheating, AC not working and when the car was off the fan was running. I suggested to my husband that we call Max Auto. We had used them once before with a vehicle I had previously had and were satisfied with our experience, plus in these times we are all about supporting our local smaller businesses. My husband called and explained all the problems with the car and even said to do a full inspection on the vehicle and do whatever needed to be done. Money was no object for my daughter. They said great! Drop it off Sunday night and we will get working on it first thing Monday morning. My husband got a call this morning from Terry telling him to come pick up the vehicle and that he was not going to work on it because my husband disconnected the relays. He said that he doesn’t work on “self fixers”. Keep in mind the previous telephone conversation he said that he wanted them to replace the relays. So basically he wanted us to drop the car off over night and let it sit there with the fan running until they got to it Monday morning?! Hmmmm... My husband and I had to leave work in the middle of our shifts and lose money to pick up my daughter’s car and find another shop to take it to. When my husband reminded Terry that we had brought one of our vehicles there before, and that he was dissappointed, Terry made it a point to tell us that we only spent $31.00 for those services. Not sure what that had to do with anything, but how tacky and rude! We got there to pick up the vehicle and my husband went inside and all that was said to him was the keys are in the vehicle. Well, Max Auto, you missed out on some good money, our future business and we will be sure to not recommend you to our friends and family due to your lack of professionalism and poor customer service skills. I have read your other bad reviews, so I am sure you will come up with some type of BS rebuttal.

My wife and I thought we had found a good automotive repair shop. We have gone to them a couple of times and were happy. They recommended we get the timing belt changed on our car, and they sent us a quote. I called them to ask a question on the price and why they replace certain parts. I talked to the mechanic/owner and asked about the parts in question. Instead of explaining they are in a kit and he recommends it, the first thing out of he mouth was do airplanes crash? He was obviously annoyed by my question. My response to you Sir is you may not be a morning person or youre having a bad start to your day, but I just asked a simple question. The reason I am writing this comment is your attitude was uncalled for, and you Sir, will never get my business.Nice try, most of what you said is true, but your husband s first reply was Do airplanes crash. I did ask if he could do better on the price.I did not ask to be talked down to like he did. All he had to say is we use OEM parts and that is what I work with. I did not need to hear his condescending remarks. I meant no disrespect, but I have the feeling he does not like to be questioned by customers. Unfortunately the truth hurts.

Quality and fast Service! Our truck broke down Wednesday night on our way into Surprise AZ, we hobbled in to Max Automotive at 7:30 AM when they opened, they had a brand new Slave cylinder on the trucks clutch ordered, installed, and ready to hit the road by 12:00 noon the same day. which saved us from further headaches, hotel bills, and what could have been a multiple day affair of waiting around. I absolutely love these people as people but not as a mechanic shop that I can rely on. I am working class (poor) and cant afford to keep my vehicle in top notch condition. I simply needed brake pads and yes, the front axle is wobbly and possibly dangerous, but I cannot afford that repair so please dont make me feel sub-human. Additionally the comment about hating my older car wasnt appreciated.This business will do well with the older folks who replace tires on a cycle rather based on usage but I need a mechanic who understands not all people can toss money around.

Great place to take your car! They are honest and personable. They care about the customer not just their pocket books. They have worked on my sons first klunker a few times and were affordable and fair. They even told us what was absolutely needed and what not to waste our money on! One time when I had brought my sons car in cause I was curious on an issue they realized it didnt have any oil in it at all! Max Had my son go back in the shop with him and showed him how to Check his oil, all the fluids and even gave his car 2 quarts of oil So it wouldnt be dangerous and didnt charge him. These are honest caring business owners and we have a shop for life ! 😊

Took my truck here because it was surging and had the check engine light on. I had tried everything before I took it in but I couldnt figure it out. Terry listened to what I experienced and 3 hours later I thought it was fixed. Turned out a sensor I bought wasnt correct so when I took it back, Terry replaced it with the old one and my truck was as good as new. Highly recommend this shop. Friendly and very knowledgeable. Plus the doggies in the office are super awesome!!!

Max Automotive is a amazing auto repair shop! I went there because my motor mounts went bad and they were the cheapest and most professional in the area! Terry even looked at my right tie rod because I got new tires and they told me I needed it replaced and he said it doesnt need to be replaced for years! He even plugged in the windshield wiper hose that someone had unplugged and never plugged back in! I will always take my cars there and will always refer people to there! It was also a plus that I got to play with Max and Sophie while I waited! Love this place!

As a woman Im extremely leery of a new repair shop. Ive been overcharged before from the dealership on down so I was happy to discover how reasonable the pricing was here. This is a family owned and operated shop and they treat their customers well while the dogs guard the shop. On their beds. Or the floor. They are pretty flexible that way.

Took my car in for an oil change after a few days it began to leak oil took it into Mac’s he said needed a new engine he did not Even look at it, so I took it to another mechanic and he found the oil filter was loose almost burn the engine up.

After reading reviews on yelp, Google and FB I decided this is the place I will take my car to for the funny sound I was hearing in my car. They checked out the car, drove it several times and still didnt hear what I heard. They checked out a couple other things with the car that I asked them to as well. When I asked them what I owed them Kathy said no charge today. What? Thats unheard of! Kathy and Terry are very friendly people and took the time to check out my car and not charge me, its no wonder their customer reviews are as great as they are!

Terry (and his wife) were very rude to my wife today at Max Automotive. Were selling a vehicle and the buyers requested that we take our vehicle to this shop. After inspection, Terry questioned my wife on a few items and after she tried to answer them, he berated her, shook his head and mocked her. At one point, he pressed her regarding codes on the dash, my wife informed him that we have never seen any codes on the dash, he then rudely told her shes wrong and walked outside in frustration. This shop will question your integrity if you dont answer them in the way they want. I can appreciate a mechanic making an honest assessment of a vehicles condition, but not if the effort results in him insulting and berating you at the front counter. I will never use this shop and I suggest you dont either.

After going back to a shop Ive trusted for the last couple years and getting no reassuring answers, I turned to Max automotive for a second and honest opinion. They explained in detail what the problem was and why I was having it. I expressed my concern and wanting to get it taken care of right away, but he assured me it didnt need immediate attention. In fact, I could wait another 6 months! It put my mind at ease that they werent out to get my money, but rather keep me satisfied. They are by no means near where I live, but definitely worth the drive! Looks like I found my new shop :)
