First time here. My wife and I toured the market and found it very nice. A good variety of foods at real good prices. We will make this one of our stops for fill in shopping in future.
Excellent as usual. Always a pleasure interesting item. Bargains galore
Great value on many products. Way better prices than Kroger or, UGH, Publix. Store was clean. Did not know you need to bring your own grocery bags or buy them at the checkout register.
Bakery is definitely great! Prices are good! Some shelves were empty and could not find some grocery items I was looking for! Especially the freezer section needs restock of items.
First time at this Lidl store and was very unimpressed. Store looked like an angry horde of starving people had rampaged through it. Shelves were not stocked, eggs were broken, no whole milk to be found anywhere, spills on the floor, one cash register open with the line stretching back down the aisle, carts scattered all over the parking lot, etc. Appeared to only have one person working at the store and he was stuck manning the checkout - at no point did we see anyone else working. Definitely don’t recommend shopping here as the minimal discount isn’t worth the chaos.
This was my first visit to Lidl but I will definitely be back. I only wish that there was one closer to where I live. The store is probably half the size of either of the big stores but has a bakery, produce, frozen food, dairy, household, wine and grocery department. The prices are overall much cheaper than Publix or Kroger. I found multiple items that were over a dollar cheaper. I actually left with a shopping cart full including some meat for $89. There is plenty of free parking available. You need to bring your own bags or use boxes they have available.
I got some great deals on blueberries and several other items. I find that it is good for selective shopping but I doubt I will use it as my regular grocery store. The people the are very nice. They make very good cookies! Skip the iced doughnuts. Make sure you bring your own bags for your groceries because they dont have any unless you want to buy them.
Im always impressed with the made by lidl brands. They are as tasty as the name brands but half the price. I also enjoy that they sell live plants near the front of the store. I picked up an ornamental pepper plant today. Nice plant for 6 dollars.
Excellent shopping experience! Employees are helpful and courteous. These stores are packed with a large variety of just about everything at affordable prices. Make sure you bring your grocery bags!
It’s hit or miss on good deals. Store is a mess. You have to overlook the clutter
The store is clean and neat, the clerks are nice. This was my first time here. The prices are reasonable. This store reminds me of a better Aldis. They have little carts for the kids to push. There were a few items in produce that didnt have price labels, but I was able to ask the clerk. This store has bread and pastries you can grab. There are some products that are there while supplies last. You will find some name brand food that you might be use to buying and there are other brands that you probably havent heard of there. Lidl has organic products and non organic products. They also have things for your home. I will be back to shop again.
Kids snacks are good .. try ready to bake Cheese pizza and dont forget to pick ice cream .. kids will like it ..
Good but they dont always have items in the flyer.
Love this store. Great prices and decent selection consisting of mostly store brands. Good quality. Always an adventure lol; the middle of the store has various household merchandise to choose from, selected seasonally, including clothing and garden items. It is fun to poke around and see what I can find there. Worth a visit!
Like lidl, they have great cheese and meats.bought a steak and was greatly suprised how tasty it was.👍
Lidl is my new favorite grocery store. Great prices and great selection.
Everything in the store looks fresh clean, and neat. When my kids started to eat the muffins we bought right after I got home, I stopped her before my 9 years old girl put the muffin into her mouth because I found GREY MOLD on her muffin. Later I found all 4 muffins have mold. We purchased the muffins on 7/11, and on the packaging the expiration date is 7/28.
You have to watch expiration dates and a lot of the produce is not always fresh. Probably my biggest complaint would be items miss labeled or not labeled at all and sale prices not being applied at checkout. On the positive, they have some great deals.
Their selection its always great but I was a little bit impressed that even though they were more than 50 customers inside (I know because they had a counter at the entrance) they had only one register open, obviously that cause a huge line of people trying to pay, that defeated any effort of maintaining safe social distance, cleaning and other preventive measures. Definitely something that needs to be addressed by management.
Love love this store. Lidl carry everything, their German Bratwurst yummy. Their Italian selection amazing. They could all go home and leave me behind, I would be very happy!
This store has lot of organic items for a reasonable price, overall I found very competitive prices here.
Clean, well priced, good selection. Will definitely return.
Great pricing and better selection then Aldi but produce and fruit doesnt last long.
I wasnt impressed. I couldnt find everything I needed and its was understaffed. No one was at a register when I went to pay. The staff was very nice once they showed up.
My first experience at this super market.Well I’m not impressed.I spent about an hour walking through and filling my cart with what I thought were great prices on food items.Went to the register and was blown away at what they rand up. More than half the items were 40% higher than what they had it marked as.I alerted the check out guy and he didn’t believe me.So I ran around the store taking pictures of the advertised price to show clerk. You’d think he’d help me or get help considering I don’t know the store very well being my first time there. He didn’t seem to care.Needless to say that is bate and switch.I work to hard for my money to be cheated on by some grocery chain.I’ve had great service at Kroger and Publix I’ll continue giving them my money.Btw I also called customer service when I got home figuring they would want to know how their employees treat customers.Well are unable to speak with a human and they only give you two options non of which were what I called about then it disconnects the call.So buyer beware - check to make sure you’re not over charged. They charged me $2.59 for a bottle of salad dressing and it was labeled as $1.39
Love this place. The Belgian chocolates are an especially good deal.
Economic and quick shopping...🛒🛍️🏷️
This visit was job related... went to install cameras on the registers. Overall impression of the store is very favorable. The restrooms were very clean. The entire was very neat and tidy. All associates with whom I interacted were friendly and interested in what I was doing. The first time using the registers after upgrade, the associates were surprised and pleased to see the image that popped up on the cashier display. (Pats self on the back)Another job well done!
Its like Aldi but bigger. I really enjoyed the egg tarts I got from the bakery.
You can always find good sales and things you never thought about. Love shopping at Lidl!!
Nice store to shop. Great prices.
Great store. Can find almost all of the products
I love everything about this store from the size of it to the brands and prices. Its as close to European style shopping that we will ever see her in the states. I only wish there was one a bit closer to me.
My first time here. Excellent choice of meat and great prices all the way around. I need to join their rewards program or whatever its called. Even more savings to be had.
LIDL has unique approach to grocery shopping. We like shopping there because the produce is high quality. You can find anything on shopping list. The is a wide selection of beverages.
I love Lidl in general. The reason I come here sometimes vs the one next to me on peach tree corners is because This one have more product variety than other stores. The staff and manager do not seem as friendly though. I found a shirt that was discounted but the cashier said sorry we can not sell it. It is last week product and has no label. And called the manager who was a bit rude saying. Where did you get it from? I was thinking Where would I get it from. I did not bring it from my car to pay for it! Since then I just don’t feel like driving the extra miles to go to this one.
The store and staff are great!Only negative thing about this specific location is that barely any of the customers seem capable of returning their shopping carts.Somehow people in the area must not have been taught to clean up after themselves growing up? SMDH
Really good European grocery store 👍👍👍
Nice layout, similar to A..., good discounts, and products
5 sarcastic stars ! Terrible selection of cheeses and prosciuttos. No mores Spanish chorizos. At 6pm, lack of products. And most of the stores are the same !
The store used to have a really good price and sale items when it opened, however now the price of most products are as high as other reputed national brands and some employees really doesnt care of customers. However I gave the store a good rank because they have a good selection(seasonal) on some non food items, which are nice and not bad price.
We go to Lidl for fresh baked bread and Croissant every weekend, I think they make the most authentic Austrian style bread in the area. Most of the items cost less than other market.
Wide variety of items that are a good value. Always something different in the non-food section. Good cross section of wine varieties at bargain prices.. Generally theres lots of great deals throughout the store but theres not always much shelf life left on the produce or meats.
I like Lidl .There is always something new. And the Bakery is is excellent.
Fresh veggies, fruits. Economical. I do my grocery here. Don’t miss it.
Love Lidl, practically get all my food there. Its about time they built one closer to where I live. Good deals on meats, and I stay well within budget keeping my dry pantry and canned goods stocked. No need to worry about coupons or loyalty cards, download the app, scan the QR code at checkout, and there are all the discounts. Too easy.
Different. Thats the best way to sum up this store. I had a thought it may be similar to Aldis considering the familial ownership situation, however this store is more Big Lots than it is Walmart. They offer many more name brands than Aldis, the best grocery comparison, but the stores interior is very bland, ala 1980s styling, and they sell very very cheap products in the middle isles. Not a bad experience, just doesnt offer a reason to return.
Great prices but minimal selection. Isnt a place I would want to do my every day shopping but good for a quick pop in to grab some odds and ends. They have great norwegian salmon and some obscure items I cant find elsewhere like scrapple.
First visit to the store without much expectations, just to see what it is. Surprised to see the prices of essentials here, compared to same products in near by Kroger, Target, etc... Clean store and fresh produce.
The pastries here are to die for! A great option for a quick run to the store!
You find decent amount of produce and related household items. Quite reasonable.
I love this place. Always clean, stocked well on all items, the staff is great. I never have an issue here. I prefer to go here versus the bigger stores because I get to get in and out very fast.
First time shopping here. Immediate impression was “it’s a lot like Aldi” however the prices are not. Similar concept BUT they have so many random items in the middle of the store Isles that it makes grocery shopping hectic. People did swarm to those random items which made the store a mess and presentation was not very orderly. I did see several employees walking around on the floor but they kept “wallpapering” the bread 🙄 and didn’t help with the real issues going on. They have both name brand foods and their brand. Again not very cheap. Could have just gone to Publix and had my groceries bagged for me in store provided bags. Honestly I do not see a drive to want to go back, no real savings, not very inviting or easy to navigate the store and just not impressed.
Clean, easy level parking and door access. Prices on the items I looked at were discounted. Good selection. Seems like an up scale discount store. Nice
German experience right here, dont expect them to wait for you to pack up or help you on anything
It is wonderful. I actually like it better than Aldi. There is a bakery and not all the produce is prepackaged. The prices are just as great as Aldi. There are also more choices. I only wish I did not have to travel so far to shop. We dont have decent shopping in Franklin county.
Love the place I love the prices and really good people working there
The advertising is bluff. Mostly the store is out of advertised items.to find store representative on the floor takes about 10 mins .Explanation always is standard phrase The item was not delivered. Come back in 2 days. May be, we will have. And sure there is always phrase Im so sorry...Looks lime the store employees assume that the customers exist for them.I assume that this is no service bluffing business, which just tolure our money
Great prices and selection for the price conscious shopper. Most items are better priced than the local chain grocery stores. Well worth the drive to shop at a better price.
It was a little disconcerting as this is not my neighborhood and everything was backwards from the set up at the local store in Lawrenceville. I stopped by while working to refill my Lidl brand cookies. They are only 8 grams sugar! And ok...if you remember and miss Nabisco Meltaway shortbread cookies...if you dont they really did melt.in your mouth and were oh so yummy! I ate them with applesauce as a child. Anyway!...Lidls shortbread cookies are the closest thing Ive ever found to Meltaways and much much cheaper than shortbread cookies tend to be. Thanks Lidl for bringing back a taste of my youth! Just a hint they are really delicious with a block of dark chocolate, preferably with almonds.😋
Love this store! Its a glorified ALDI, with a fresh bakery like Publix. A great selection of every day foods including meat, dairy, produce, and home staples, plus European goodies. Stroopwaffels to Belgium chocolates. Many items I found when I lived in Germany.
Love this store. Always have some exceptional deals through the app. The fresh bread is excellent!
I had such high hopes for this place. While they have a good variety of things, all of the fresh produce I purchased went bad within 2 days of buying. I food prep on the weekends so not only did thr majority of the vegetables I purchased go into the trash, everything u prepped for my family ended up in the trash. Lesson learned and I wont be shopping here.
I go only for the baked items. Overall the store screams discount store, so I dont even venture past the bakery section to the immediate left as you enter. Often the shelves are bare in the bakery, the checkout line winds all the way up a whole aisle as they absolutely do not believe in having more than 1 lane open weekend, weekday or whenever. On more than 1 occasion they have rung up mini croissants at the big croissant prices if Im not watching (does not happen now because they are packaged and pre-priced). If not for the croissants and other pastries which are really good, I would avoid this stop on my grocery shopping trips altogether.
Store was undergoing some repairs while shopping, but overall experience was great. Clean, well-stocked and good prices. Just like I remember from Europe.
Good service, good prices, affordable! Some products are missing, but it is a good supermarket.
A friend went to Lidl and loved it. I went to a different Lidl and I didnt care for it at. Id go to Sprouts or Trader Joes every day of the week. I went there to purchase frozen clam strips, but there werent any. I approached the checkout lines with three items, but only one lane was open and ahead of me were six people with full carts. I left without purchasing anything. Finally, this new store seemed low rent.
Will not go back. The check out is crazy especially if you are buying a lot of food. They dont charge for use of baskets so parking lot was full of them. Funny how folks wont put them away for a quarter.
Being your own bag or buy it.
The place was overly crowded with boxes and pallets for stocking. Blocking aisles and making it near impossible to reach or get to items. Seems like all that could be done before or after opening. It was noon. Pricing for items out was non-existent. Reminded me of a terribly managed dollar general. Do better.
I bought a pork roast, and it was noticeably better quality than standard grocery store pork. The baked goods are extensive and look great. Otherwise its essentially a small boutique grocery store like Trader Joes or Earth Fare.
I love this store, think of Aldis but better (design, options, prices, etc.)
My first visit to a Lidl ever. I wanted to see how it stacked up against the competitor. Overall, Id say skip it. The cart corral near the door was empty. An employee was in the cart corral sweeping for quite a while. I guess it didnt occur to him to go round up some of the carts around the lot. So I had to go find my own. Walking in, bakery displays were almost empty. Floors entering produce area were messy, had scraps of produce waste all over. The selection was fair, but the prices werent as attractive as the other similar company. Opened a sliding door on a case of chicken and was greeted with a smell that says BEWARE! The displays of non food items were messy. I could list a few more things, but whats the point? Its a no for me, dog.
Very reasonable price wise. Not crowded on Thursday evening. Must visit. An extra star for very helping staff.
The prices were really good and the selection was womderful!
Really cool store. Great products and prices.
Very nice store. Great bakery. They provide bags at a cost. Need to bring your own bags to bag your own groceries.
Stores is clean and nice. Young staff are very helpful yet old ones are rude and they don’t seem to be wanting to work there. Went their two times and had the same experience. I had a very young guy at the cashier who is very respectful and helpful yet the store manager is awful and has attitude and was huffing and puffing all the time it is like someone forced him to work there.
Excellent...on Par with AldiPossibly better...
Went to store 0815Few customers, no staffing greetings customers include manager. They just talk to themselves. Used be a friendly place
Love this store.
They have a ton of selection of European goods for reasonable prices . But most aisles seemed empty and unorganized. Not sure if it’s because of New Years ever! Not impressed at all to see completely empty shelves in bakery.
Great varieties at economy prices. Quality products
Small, clean and affordable store for essentials.
Great products and prices!
They have enough staff but Never enough at the register
Great inventoryStaff there will help youEmployees are there to answer all your questionsAlso you can buy thingsThereThat you normally wontFind in most Grocery storesAn enjoyable exsperanceI was CompletelySATISFIED
Bakery is the best.
The Lidl website told me a certain product was in stock at a specific location, but it was nowhere to be found in the store. I tried finding someone to help me locate it, but there were no employees anywhere except at the checkout, and they were too busy to help. Horrible business model. The lack of help is not worth the low prices. The prices were definitely lower than other grocery stores, and the bakery looked really good. Other than that, I was not impressed.
Great fresh produce and pastries at really good prices!
Great little grocery store with a variety of interesting and well-priced items!
Great store, great prices. People were not as friendly, except the young man that were cleaning the grocery karts. He meet us with a smile and gave us a shopping kart. But the prices and the clean store will bring me back to shop.
Went to Lidl for the first time was pretty impressed
Love their dark chocolate bars
Similar to Aldis but free cart, still have to pay for bags. More of a selection but out some of the goods. Some middle aisles are a hodge podge of misc items from clothes electronics kitchen stuff. Bakery stuff looked good
Interesting little market and not unlike Aldi in layout. Onsite bakery fresh items was a pleasant surprise.
Slow service was becsuse there was only one register open. Not a smart idea for a Saturday. That and average quality make for a poor experience.
Unbelievably low prices and high European quality! You have to see this with your own eyes otherwise you wouldn’t believe it! I love Lidl
