The new manager Zach was very accommodating. Beyond helpful and explained EVERYTHING without pushing things we didnt need. Had an alignment done at another location and was not satisfied. Zach had us bring it in IMMEDIATELY and rechecked it, needed a little adjustment. While doing so he pointed out my tires had a lot of wear. Which the other place never mentioned. Gave us a great deal and made us a priority. This guy knows his stuff. Great work ethic. Someone came in 5 minutes before they were closing and he personally took the time to balance the guys tires for him without thinking twice. He could have easily told the guy he need to come back another time. He definitely won our business. Give him a try he will definitely earn yours too. He actually cares about his customers. Unlike all these other scam artists just trying to take your money
First of all, I am sorry to those customers who have had a terrible experience. But, this is by far the best Firestone we have been to. I especially want to say that Jeff was OUTSTANDING with his customer service and knowledge. Ive used Firestone for years for basic oil changes and the staff here dont bother to do what is included in their 19 point inspection. They literally both time did NONE. Second time I asked for an explanation I was told, I dont know, I didnt work on your car. Just extraordinarily poor customer skills. Zero trust after that.TAKE YOUR CAR TO A TRUSTED AUTO SHOP.
I took a new used car from South Tacoma Mazda here to have it inspected.I didnt have time to make an appointment so they told me that they would just have to try and fit me is some time that day.Well, they got me in just after 12:00 noon. They looked over the used car and found a few things that needed repaired. (Information I took back to the used car dealership and had them fix.)The total price for this service - $10.00 bucks!!! That is one hell-of-a-deal!!!Without their car inspection I might have to pay out of pocket over $1000.00 worth of repairs. No one wants to spend money on a new used car, especially when you just bought the car!Thanks Firestone!!! You saved me some money!!! 😀
Took my car in to get an oil change today. They told me it could take a while since they needed to get a filter delivered to them. It took longer than expected, and because of the inconvenience, they offered a discount! ALSO….my phone had super low battery, and they kindly offered to lend me a charger. Got our oil changed the guy didn’t tell me the charges I had to ask him TWICE before I signed a consent to pay. He wrote the wrong phone number so we had no idea how long our car had been ready to go by the time we went back. They didn’t reset the computer so my car still says service needed and they didn’t put a sticker with next oil change milage I’m not totally convinced they actually changed the oil after that. Told us the tires were low but did not specify air or tread good thing I’m already aware of my tire situation. Never coming back.

They did my oil change and did not even tighten oil pan bolt! Oil leaked out could have been really bad if I didnt catch it! The most basic of jobs not done right
Charged me $100+ for an oil change… did not go over any price estimate or how long it would take. They did not ask me anything abt what oil to use and just defaulted to the most expensive synthetic oil for my old run down car (which in no means needs expensive oil)
My tire was damaged on the freeway so Ipulled off and pulled into Firestone, the manager Kyle Walden refused to service my tire. He said he had 2 more cars and was going to close up shop. I asked him to please fix my tire, he said he would not repair it until morning, that he was about to close. Kyle expected me and my little dog to spend the night in a parking lot at the Tacoma mall behind his shop. I told him that I wasnt from around there, I was traveling through to see a friend in Olympia Washington and look at some properties for sale, I am from out of State so I asked him please would he fix my tire, and Kyle said no, not until the next morning. Its pretty sad when I had to call my on road service to put my donut on In ordered to Get to my destination To get to my friends house. to sleep for the night and Have to go somewhere else The next day to get my tire repaired. While waiting about an hour For my on road service to show up Kyle shop was still open. And Kyle and his worker or still there. I saw him Open up the doors to service somebody else but still did not service me. The security lady for the mall and the on road service could not believe this man would not fix my tire. This man Kyle who works as a manager for Firestone has no compassion for others. I did ask Kyle if he could send me or tell me somewhere else I may get my tire fixed and he said no everybody else was probably closed. So Kyle knew that I would not be able to get my tire repaired anywhere and still felt it necessary for me to have to stay the night until he could fix my car in the morning what an a hole. My family and I actually by Firestone tires but because of this man we will never buy another Firestone tire again or go to their shops for any services ever. I guess I have to rate this place In order to post it it dont deserve the one star Im going to put.
Husband took the car in for a tune up last week and paid almost $500 for SPARK PLUGS. Apparently, a tune up isnt what it used to be before is what one of the guys said. After the service there is a lack of acceleration, the engine is misfiring and some other problems, so my husband brings it in today and asks them to check their work to see if there is a faulty spark plug or one put on too tight or whatever and THEY tell him he will be charged another $99 for a vehicle inspection.!Like seriously.? He just got service work done and the car is showing signs of a faulty spark plug that they put on and they
Service advisor was completely unfriendly and did no good at all to help me for what I was there for I asked for alignment and they said that they did it but they didnt because they didnt give me the print out sheet for the specs that they usually give to me and on top of that they over tighten two of my lug nuts which made them break off the stud so I had to replace the entire wheel hub assembly because of that and also they did not tighten all my lug nuts to spec I will never go there again other than just to get my alignment done since I have a lifetime warranty on it

Was wanting to but a new set of tires for my truck after my new rims I ordered had arrived. I went there because trying to figure out over the internet what would work best was hurting my head. I told the person at the desk that I had bought 17x9 inch rims and he told me that they dont deal with rims... I said ok the tires go in rims he said yes I said ok makes sense I had to look on my ohine to try to figure out what size rims I needed and I got flustered and he told me to look on the internet for what I needed . I left and said have a good day. Unless you are knowledgeable about tires and know what you need and dont need any help from them I dont recommend I left there feeling belittled .
I have been to this repair shop a few times for different issues. They have had great communication and they take ownership which is important to me. This review is specifically for CJ who absolutely helped me deal with a thermostat assembly problem. Definitely reinforced my decision to keep coming here.
- WRONG TIRE- INSTALLED IMPROPERLY- DANGER- BEWARENot only have I been told that Firestone installed the wrong kind of tire on my car,They also installed it improperly, causing missing lug nuts, broken lug nuts, broken wheel studs, and possibly other damage.Im lucky my wheel didnt come off of my car while driving.Im getting new tires elsewhere, but they cant even get the bad tire off because of Firestones actions.I called Firestone and they told me to go in tomorrow and they will attempt to check this out and fix it.Ill update with how that visit goes. Lets see if they really try to make it right.

I came here Friday of last week with my 2012 Honda Accord for an alignment when the customer service guy at 9:00 in the morning told me that his main guy wasnt there that should have been a red flag but I got the alignment anyways I went home started realizing that my wheel wasnt aligned and that my car was was drifting to the right and my wheel was misaligned to the left I called left a message nobody got a hold of me Im looking for some resolution there are some weird sounds coming from my front wheel weld now and Im extremely worried the only person that drives in my household and I work graveyards so its been really hard to get in and get this fixed

Made an appointment at 7am for a flat repair. I ended up waiting around in the lobby until 7:40 for them to finally bring my car into the shop for a repair. Luckily my tire could be repaired and it was fairly quick. But I still didnt leave until well after 8. What is the point of making an appointment at 7am if Ill just have to wait around in the lobby for the employees to complete their opening duties. It was frustrating.
Called a few minutes before closing time. Had a tire failure (from another provider), and was searching for a rather hard to find tire and size. Robert was amazing! He took time to carefully review what I needed, and when it was found the tire was not in local inventory, he searched for location of one. The time line was challenging, so he carefully discussed options, time lines, cost, and alternatives. He was AMAZING! Old school customer service at its very best! I would highly recommend this Firestone dealership, and specifically Robert!
I have come in on several occasions and are always impressed with my service. The first time I came in, I was trying to get a second opinion on a service the dodge dealership told me was necessary (woman at dealership by myself). I decided to get a second opinion, so Cory and his team took a look! It turns out not only was the service not necessary, but another service I was considering having done also was not necessary and the problem I was experiencing was solved by simply putting in two bolts that had gone missing. The savings in cost I received allowed me to purchase tires which I desperately needed. The honesty and open communication also caused me to stop going to dodge and to become a loyal Firestone customer.My most recent experience further instilled this loyalty. I came in to have some work done, and I trusted the tech when I was told some of the work I initially thought needed to be completed wasnt necessary. I also believed him when he said certain other components needed to be replaced. I was especially appreciative when the guys took me aside and showed me a valve that I could purchase very inexpensively and install on my own to stop an oil leak I was experiencing. The guys totally could have taken advantage of the situation and charged me extra for a new part and instillation, but instead they looked out for their customer, and this is truly appreciated. I will definitely be back!

My car broke down yesterday and I called my nearest Firestone. Not only did they go above and beyond, but they explained to me everything in detail some things and concepts I didnt understand, Kyle stood patiently with me throughout it all. I ended up paying over $1000, but I left confident in the fact the issue was resolve if he hadnt explained in such detail and with such confidence I probably wouldnt have rested easy, but he was great.. Excellent over all, they didnt make any promises and never tried to hide the fact of how bad, good, or lucky I was. Their integrity was awesome. I look forward to doing business with Firestone in the future.
If I could give no stars I would based off only two of many experiences. My parents have taken their Subaru here for various services over the year. Most recently, my mom was told she had a nail in her tire - it wasn’t fixable, would need replacing and being 4wd, of course that meant all four tires. She was a little skeptical because apparently it was the same story they had told her in her last visit to see them. She got a second opinion and it turned out to be completely repairable. Either they were taking advantage of a customer who doesn’t know s* about cars, or they are guessing and suggesting $600 repairs willy nilly. Neither are qualities that I want in an auto shop. Bad look.
Employees are always upbeat, friendly, funny, and super helpful. I have extreme confidence leaving with my car after servicing. Update: I had Firestone tires on my car for the past several years but was shopping around for other deals to purchase a new set. One of the tire stores I stopped at asked me how the service had been from Firestone and I told him staff had always been polite, upbeat, and willing to accommodate me and help me feel safe in my car. Then I wondered to myself why I wasnt going back to Firestone to get my new tires, so I did just that! These folks go above and beyond and when I leave I know my car is in tip top shape!
My van overheated had it towed to this Firestone they said it was repaired 2 days later when I am on my way to testify in the Senate of WA state my car overheats and now I have to miss testifying for a very important bill. So, you know how I feel. They have cost me a load of money and time.
I had an appointment at 2pm for an alignment, but work didnt start until 2:17 even though the alignment rack was open. You could say they were under staffed or that these are hard times, but somehow they found time to hang out at the front desk and chat about a BMW they liked before they started on my car. Meanwhile, there wasnt a drop of sweat on these guys. They were just late and lazy. Not a fan.
Best customer service I have had. The management team goes above and beyond to help, they make you feel like family. Hard working and up for any task even if it’s not something they normally don’t do. I will not take my car anywhere else. Thank you guys for always being there for me and my Family.
I bought 4 new tires, was pushed into getting lifetime alignment. Asked to check my AC because it was not working, after being charged for that the guy at the front suggested I did an electrical check up because the AC test was inconclusive. The electrical system check was not completed because he wanted to go home I guess; I was not charged for that I was told as a great gesture. The test was not even completed. When I went to pick up my car, the battery was completely drained. Customer service was deplorable in this case. I spent close to $1200 this time. I have been a customer for the past 4 years. I am not coming back again. Other places align your tires for free when your purchase new ones, here they look to make extra $ at your expense and not even solve your car issues properly.
I only went here for an oil change because they had a 50% deal for healthcare workers. For 40 bucks, its a good deal. But stay clear from any Firestone. They are overpriced and for this place, slow. To change the cabin filter, theyre asking 54 dollars. Its simple to change one. Buy one from Amazon for 12 bucks and use youtube to install it yourself which took me less than 3 minutes for my Prius. Unclip the glovebox and replace the filter from there. When they asked me if I wanted my tires rotated, they said 20 bucks first but when I mentioned Ill think about it, they conveniently said theres a sale running and will only charge 10 bucks. They left my car smelling of cigarettes and dirt. Use your money at local car shops rather than Firestone.

Manager, Josh, is fantastic. I received auto repair on a Sunday. One of the very few mechanics open. No b.s. here! Theyre honest with their work! They originally though my belt and power steering pump needed change but after quoting and assessing, it wasnt both. I only needed a belt. I saved hundreds from their honesty! They couldve easily took advantage of me, but didnt. I recommend this location to anyone in a pinch, they were able to get me right in and get it done same day!

I dropped my car off this am to have my new tires installed while i was at work. Let them know i would be back at 2pm to pick up. 2:30 i was told that it wouldnt be done until 4:30 because I was a walk in not an appointment.Wish they would have told me that either yesterday when i called or today when i dropped off. ( i work 2 jobs and had to get to my next) they did get it done by 3:17 however the rims on one tire were so dirty i dont think that the wights will stick and my balance will soon be off.I am disappointed in the quality of work and the customer service provided. Also read the fine print they charge me $80 plus tax for the installation instead of the $60 i was told was the price. Over $92 all said and done.

I dont know the tech who does alignments but it would be nice if they showed any effort towards caring for someones safety. Went in for allignment monday after replacing steering rack($650) and outer tie rod ends. I unfortunately installed them on the wrong side so Tuesday I fliped them to find multiple problems with their allignment. First off both jam nuts were not even tightened down. Thats a huge safety concern. If the tie rod comes off that could cause a crash and cost someones life potentially. Second to that is the brand new rack I installed they couldnt take the time to make sure the boot clamp was on correctly and luckily I found it before the boot ripped and had to be replaced.The last piece is the customer service was miserable. I told them these problems for the guy just to say okay can I have your keys,Ill get it realigned as soon as I can. Not once did he ever acknowledge the fact that they put my passengers,myself and the vehicle in jeopardy.Side note, not professional at all. Workers (kids) are doing burnouts in the parking lot in their slow, obviously not tuned for the exhaust camaro.Your their to work, not to do burnouts in the parking lot.Every other firestone Ive been to has been very good but this is a new level of poor quality and customer service.
Stopped here while we were out of town 100+ from home with a piece of metal in a tire. They told us the tire was not repairable which I understand but they wouldn’t even sell us 1 tire or 1 used tire. Said can’t fix it and can only replace tire if you buy 4 new tires. What a joke. Drove less than 15 min away and got excellent service and a good used tire to get us home. Go to Jeff’s used tires!
Honestly, their competitor Discount Tires had a much better deal and had more options. (Honest opinion)Also, their sales reps were really pushy but also course at the same time. Not a good look folks.

Been coming to this place for awhile now and they do there best to fit you in when they can. (I mostly come here for oil changes and tire rotation)In the past Ive had issues with people behind the desk and there knowledge about cars and trouble shooting but now they seem to have a great group of people who I feel I can actually trust.

I have had all my cars serviced at Firestone since I purchased my first car back in 1988. Today is the second time I have been very disappointed in Firestone. They have this new guy there named Cory. He comes off like a used car salesman trying to sell me things I dont need. Well today he chose to go the opposite way by refusing to do an oil change on my car. Because my car didnt show there was oil in it, he said he didnt feel comfortable putting oil in my car. He recommended I take it to the dealership. What really shocked me was that he felt comfortable having me drive away in my car with no oil. WHAT AN ASS!!

This Firestone had the best employees of all the Firestones Ive been to, from San Fransisco to Seattle. They are always friendly and professional. Ive never had to wait long to be helped, or to get my car back.
Great deal on an oil change saved me over $40.Service was lacking in professionalism.I called to verify they could do the oil change and scheduled an appt. 3 hour out.When I arrived they did not have the proper oil filter in stock. This is common with my car hence the reason I called to verify. I was not ever directly advised that I would need to wait an additional hour and 10 minutes for the oil change to be completed (oil filter delivered). Only when the mechanic was informing the desk clerk and I overheard.

Very slow service. I had a 730 appointment, got here on time and no other customers in the place, yet It took them 20 minutes before they even bothered to take vehicle in. Then I sat waiting for almost a hour to get a simple oil change. This is very poor service and the clerk didn’t even bother to apologize, which reflects a complete lack of customer service! I will never come to this place ever again. After sitting here for over an hour the guys suddenly states he doesn’t have my oil filter. This is pathetic and Firestone will never get my money again!!!
Ive been a Firestone customer for about 6 years now, and 4 of those years Cory has helped me find exactly what I need within my budget. He is incredibly helpful, patient, honest, and professional. I dont go to anyone else! I would definitely recommend Cory to anyone.
While I was super thankful these guys were open on both a Sunday and a holiday, their customer service really fell short. I believe its probably because they were very busy and overwhelmed. Bu, as someone who cant lift a tire without struggle, I felt completely disregarded as a customer when the employee in the lobby just propped up my tire on my car and walked away. No personal interaction and no offer to help put it in my tunk.And this was after I asked if it was possible to get the tire installed and the same employee audbily sighed and seemed like he did not want to help me. I understand the response of its gonna be a two hour wait but the employee made me feel like I was burdening him, or that they did not want to help me.I get being busy, but I feel like there were a lot of missed opportunities.
One of Our tires popped right after we got off the highway. Because it popped we had to wait over 2 hours for a tow truck. We got here and told them what was going on. They said we had to change all 4 tires. We explained that we wanted to change just the one because that’s all we could afford, we had gotten an apartment that same day and had put a deposit so we were low on funds, regardless of us explaining that we could only afford 1, they decided to change all 4 and charged us almost $800 which we did not have. We had to go almost a week without our Jeep because we didn’t have money, on top of that their attitude was horrible. My thing is why would you change all 4 tires if you’re told only 1 can be afforded and on top of that have a nasty attitude? This has been the most expensive fire change we have ever had and the worst experience. We are definitely not coming back.

They gave me discounts on several items that brought my 1500 dollar repair down to 1100. They can do any repair and they provide quick service ( when the master tech is working). I will return when I need major repairs.

So again sorry you had experience there but you have the wrong name. I dont know if they gave you the wrong name or what but Cory has hair on his head and would NEVER speak to a customer that way. Hes respectful and helpful to anyone that comes into that store. Ive seen him deal with the most difficult and rude people and still he is respectful and helps them as much as he can.

Anyone who knows what Ive been through with my cars suspension knows that the two things I hate most in this world are lazy alignment techs and uneven tire wear. Sadly I had to experience both of these things after the Firestone at the Tacoma Mall messed up my alignment. I got my car back and it was pulling harder to the right than it was before the alignment. I took it back the next day and they were honest and admitted something had to have gone wrong during the alignment and they fixed it. Rather than fixing it right away however they made me wait for all the people ahead of me which is a bit strange considering they messed up my car. The three reasons this review did not turn out to be one star was because they were honest, they fixed it, and they had a very nice lady working at the front desk.
A big shout out to Sara, Jay, and everyone else who worked hard to get my van fixed quickly, efficiently, and professionally! I appreciate their friendliness and their work ethic.
Thus place never fails to fail. The only possible explanation for still being in business is its convenient location. I can promise you after a number of visits (99% due to location) over a number of years it can be the only reason. Bad customer service, over priced, shady dealings, rudeness, poor workmanship can all be found in abundance here, like a fudging tradition.
SAVE YOURSELF AND GET A QUOTE SOMEWHERE ELSE.I dont know what the hell is wrong with Firestone after going there 2 different times to get a car looked at. Most recently, they said there was NO other option to fix my car than to rebuild the ENTIRE transmission and transaxle system. This was quoted $3,200!!!!!Now, Im thinking its kinda odd since the car only has 130k miles and is not showing huge signs of problem....Thank god I took it to Verns in Tacoma because they found out what was really wrong with it. Ended up paying $605 and my car is good as brand new...This has happened before. They quoted our truck repair to be $2,500 when it ended up being only $430...I dont know if theyre lazy or think people are stupid but this place is a big SCAM. They WILL tell you things that dont need to be done.If you want to waste all your money that could go to something a lot better, please go here.
People with attitude shouldnt work at the front counter/customer service. Called and made an appointment for the latest one, but I already asked if I could be 5-10 mins late since I got work; the guy made appointment said itd be alright. Showed up 6 mins late, the female worker at the counter just gave attitude and said youre late. We already took someone else. The attitude was there before we even said anything. If you had argued with your husband or someone else, you still should keep it professional; its your DUTY to do so. TERRIBLE customer service. Guess I have to do business somewhere else.

All of the staff I spoke with were professional and courteous. Josh, the manager, provided upgraded option for tires (at no additional charge) as my ordered tires were not at the store by the time of my appointment!
Terrible customer service. Price gouging at its finest. How do you quote a $1700 brake job without even removing the wheels??? LMFAO!!! I am cutting up my Firestone credit card and Josh, you should find a different way to make a pay check.

Spoke with Sarah regarding some issues I was having with my brakes and also I needed an oil change. She was very Frienedly and professional, also was able to find out the problem with my brakes in a timely manner. They got me in and out, I will definitly be coming back.
I went to change my tires but I changed my mind because when I asked to use bathroom they said its only for customer I been costume for 7 years!!!!!!
Front desk service was excellent. Work was done well. Would have been 5 stars but someone clearly went through my truck leaving my light bar on and stealing a tablet from my center console.

Trustworthy, honest, reliable. I had tires delivered here to be installed on my wifes Escalade, they urged us to recondisder installing new tires and rebalance instead. This solved our issue and saved us a lot of money. Thanks again! Theyve also done a great job installing tires on my Tundra. Will be back for sure.

Friendly place, seems like they are ready to work. But after dropping my car off for a 1:00 appointment, the car hadnt been serviced after I returned at 3:30. After asking about it they quickly went outside to bring the car in for service.
