Bob really helped me out after another local shop wouldnt do my FFL transfer. Very knowledgeable.

This is a very capable shop. I had a problem with a gun and he fixed it for a very reasonable price. Period. While I was there, I even bought another one because his price was better than ANY other shop in town and he didnt treat me like an idiot while standing at the counter like 90% of other gun salespeople.Many people speak as if they are the great expert of every field when writing a Google review. Even the best companies cant please everyone. And to walk into a gun shop and encounter someone who doesnt particularly care for certain politicians? Shocking. Bob is fair and hell tell it you like he sees it. Thats all that some of the reviewers do and theyre proud of what they say, but shame on someone else if they say something they dont agree with.If youre looking for a gun or need one repaired or built, dont hesitate to check out Ad Tek and form your own opinion.

Intimidating and Filthy hole of a shop. This is a negative review without a doubt, but it is not an angry or malicious review. This place looks just like an old school mom and pop computer shop, where they take advantage of people who dont know better. The truth is, I do know better and I have been there several times, but this last time was just too much. The owner took two minutes to adjust the sights on my pistol. It came back more skewed than before and for 2 minutes of tapping with a hammer, it was the minimum charge of $25. I also got a nice dose of embarrassingly incorrect and rambling talk about physics and the kinetic force of bullets, and a bonus helping of OBAMA IS A SOCIALIST MUSLIM. There is even a poster stuck up outside that talks about our fascist/socialist Commander in Chief as if they were the same thing and not diametric opposites. But then, this guy dropped E=MC(2) when talking about the speed of ammunition. Save yourself the pain and cost. Go to a reputable shop, if there is one in Tallahassee.

Adtec Bob is not a man of his word. Dropped an antique pistol off to have it parkerized/refurbished. Got nothing but excuses for almost a year. Had to threaten to report the gun stolen to get it back. When he returned it, it was in pieces, broken, and not a lick of work completed. Sorry, sad excuse for a gunsmith. Wouldnt let this guy adjust a paper clip. Incompetent beyond belief!

If youre complaining about this place, youre an idiot so carry on, i need a good laugh. If you actually know anything about these firearms and live in the local area, then YOU know this is the only place you can luck out and find the actual PARTS to complete a build. Internet shopping be damned when you can buy what u need and build one in an afternoon! Most of what you need can be found at local shops for various prices, but the essential will be found at AD-TEK. Enough said.

Today was my first experience here, I heard about them 4-5 years ago from a friend who owned a wide variety of modern military style rifles and he said that it was a good place for finding ak/ar gear locally. I was looking for a magpul Moe Rifle length hand guard in OD Green [discontinued color] (either the Gen 1 MOE [which was replaced and discontinued] or the Gen 2 MOE M-lok)and the corresponding OD Green magpul vertical grip at the local stores, but after checking Bass Pro, Academy Sports, Red Hills, and Kevins, I googled local gun stores and saw Ad Tek and decided to take a look. Its a small shop, with the entire store front sales area probably no bigger than a typical bedroom but its organized extremely well with stacked open-faced containers for the variety of gun accessories (Id say better variety than most other local stores) but I didnt look much since the guy knew what I wanted and where it was. They had an OD Green Gen1 Moe mag419-odg Hand Guard which isnt as common but has better accessory availability in local stores, and it came out after taxes less than it sells for online before shipping. The guy was friendly and helpful, and more importantly actually knew what I was looking for, they did have the vertical grip just not in od green but I found it at bass pro which has a good bit of Moe specific gear in ODG, FDE, Grey and black. Im surprised to read some of the other reviews on here that are negative but I have no experience with anything other than this trip so I cant say theyre false or true, but I honestly dont like anyone except me working on on my rifles unless its more complicated in which I go to Masters of Gun & Rod. Id recommend this place to anyone looking for gun accessories and knows what items they want.

Mr Bob is the BEST in Tallahassee . He has stuff most stores dont for the AR crowd --- and his prices are spot on. I also did a buds transfer with Bob and he made my first online purchase a breeze.

Terrible! I have a Walther PP .32ACP. Great gun. All of a sudden while firing it the gun began to fire in a burst mode. I took it to Ad-Tek because I do not want a fully automatic hand gun. He said it would be 2 weeks. Awesome.I call him after 2 weeks and he says its going to be longer because he dipped the upper receiver in acid and it ate the finish. OK stuff happens and I work outside of the state I will be back. Long story short he ends up having the gun for 5 months! I go to pick it up, its not fixed and the finish was still intact. It was never dipped in acid. WTF? I asked why couldnt this get fixed. 1st he said police have priority and 2nd he said because he was so busy because of the whole Sandy Hook/Obama issue. I said my gun was here for months prior to Sandy Hook. He just looked at me with this look. STAY AWAY! THIS GUY IS NOT GOOD AT WHAT HE DOES!
