I had a dead battery at a time when money was short. This place was recommended for a used battery. Im so Very Happy with my experience. You simply pull up, take a number, and within minutes you are being helped by a mask wearing employee who checks your old battery on the machine. You let them know which option you want. (Different batteries have longer warranties) you exchange your dead battery for the newer one that is ready to work. You need to have the exchange battery for the deal. Save your receipt and if for some reason you have an issue. Simply return it. I have never purchased a used battery. Will never purchase a new one again. This place is awesome. Friendly and knowledgeable employees who are very helpful. These guys have you in and out in a fast time. I paid a tiny fraction of the price for a battery with an 18 month warranty. Many battery warranties to choose from.

True life savers for a mother on the go! Earlier this morning, my car acted like it didnt want to work until the third try, it finally cranked up. We were all in the car, fastened up and ready to take off but my car had a different idea! Fortunately, it started, we made it to Tampa and I stopped at my old friend Chris mechanic shop on Tampa St. He said youve got a bad battery, go to Square Deal. I got what I could get to keep me on the road, a 6 month battery for $30! Different options for those on a budget. Whew, thanks yall!

Well, I bought a battery from oreily and came here to get it changed out. I had received assistant from an employee. All was going well until I asked him about how long will the battery take to charge. I do have 2 batteries in my car. So he said about 2 hours, I said no due to us leaving out of town. If this man told me that by hooking up my music battery and the new battery would drain the new battery. I was shocked by how little this man knew about batteries. Ladies, please dont let this fellows get over on you. Lol.

Great Business. Need a battery- go here first!For better or worse Im a DIYer. Ill spend time, frustration, and $ to try and save a little $ and the satisfaction of DIY. So changing a battery is something Ive never thought to have done. But I was stuck with a horribly corroded and stripped side terminal on my 2001 Chevy truck. This place is right around the corner so I thought Id give it a shot. Now - i had already bought a new battery so I was prepared to hear that they didnt install other batteries, that I would have to buy one of theirs. This would have been reasonable and their prices seem to be amazing and the reviews of the batteries seemed to indicate that you get your moneys worth and then some. And I definitely thought there would be an installation charge at least. Nope. I pulled up and was greeted immediately. I explained my situation and was told no problem, I can do that for you and the gentleman began to work immediately. 30 minutes later - cuz that terminal was in BAD shape - hed pulled the battery, installed a new terminal post, cleaned all the corrosion in the battery bay and had the new battery in. I went to square up and was told NO CHARGE. Not one penny. Luckily I had some cash to tip. I was even prepared to leave my old battery, figuring they could get some value out of the core. They did offer to dispose of it for me but when i mentioned getting my core charge back from the other joint they had no problem with me taking it. I also noticed that every customer in the place - and they were very busy but no one was left to wait - seemed like an old friend, and i can see why. I will be going here for batteries from now on. So glad I found this gem of a place.

Im 2/2 for good experiences and my friend who refurbishes vehicles uses them frequently and says about 80% of the time their batteries work out great and for peace of mind you can get a pro-rated warranty for $10 more (currently about ~$45 out the door, ~$35 if youre bold and only want the minimal 6 month warranty). Service is incredibly fast. Would recommend for both practicality and cost savings.
