Was traveling through town from Jacksonville when I noticed a tremendous leak from under the hood so I came by. They got it up on the lift pretty quick and diagnosed it as a transmission leak. They had to spend some time cleaning it up before they could pinpoint the leak which ended up being a loose hose. They replaced the clamp, stopped the leak and didn’t charge me!!! Great service.
My husband was going to get an alignment done but his car was too low so we couldn’t. Drive up ramp. Anyway, writing this great review because the man who helped us didn’t just say “No, we cannot help you”. He directs you to another option nearby! I witnessed him do that with another customer also. It was just part of his demeanor, to have integrity. He is the green eyed man, latino, wears a nice gold ring with diamonds. He’s your man. Go to him. :)
The guys here always take good care of me. They get me in quick, and are quick at fixing and getting me back on the road. I appreciate mechanics so much they do there job for millions of people.. they dont have room to mess up and they deserve more appreciation.

Do not put off your car maintenance, it is far more expensive to ignore it. The staff here is amazing, honest, and really do everything possible to help you and your vehicle. Their recommendations are sound and fact based.I have used this location for years and never had an issue and will just be honest if they see an issue or even things they have seen from your model of car to help you prevent bigger issues.Their guarantees also are second to none and are written on their board so they stand by them.So in my opinion avoid the headache of getting nicket and dimed and just see these experts. Unlike other big named auto repair shops that everytime I walk in they want to sell me some other service but cant back up the why, the firestone manager will explain why and what could happen if you dont and then lets you make the decision with zero pressure.
Wow! Mike went out of his way to give me excellent customer service! He helped me over the phone and when I arrived at the store. I am so glad that I came here to get my tire replaced. I have always received great service at this store but Mike really went above and beyond when I was already a little frustrated/worried about not being able to get the tire replaced before my trip. We hit some debris on the bridge which knocked our mud plate loose under the car. It was Saturday afternoon and most garages had already closed for the day. But these guys were open. They fixed the problem promptly, cheerfully, and cheaply. Couldnt believe our good luck; these guys saved our vacation! Highly recommended!

I made an appointment to get my tires rotated at 1:30PM. The wouldnt be able to take my car for another hour. I couldnt wait so I just left. Whats the point of making an appointment? This is the second time I went to this location just to leave because the wait time is too long. Even though I made an appointment both times.
In love their honesty and the accommodations they made for me... It was greatly appreciated and unexpected... I always go back to this location regardless of the drive... Their location has a very quality team especially Marcos... Hes my favorite and the most honest!!!!!

Showed up 15 minutes early for my appointment which front desk didn’t appear to be happy about telling me car won’t be taken in until my appointment time, which I totally understood. Other than that warm welcoming the worst part about my visit was the very poor alignment job my car received. Noticeable tiled in the steering wheel causing for a poor driving experience. Not sure if I’ll ever go back to a Firestone again after being a long time customer :(

I’m fairly confident these guys messed up my car, and I’m not even sure a competent mechanic works here. I went in with my car having no problems, I was just doing my routine 100,000 mile inspection to be a responsible car owner and they told me I just needed a tire rotation and my oil changed. The next day my car wouldn’t start and the engine over heated just starting the car. I got the car to start to go to work only for the car to fail to start again. It needed to be towed back to Firestone for them to say I needed a new starter. My car was literally starting fine before I got my oil changed with them. Also if my starter was going bad why wasn’t this noted during the inspection the day before? So being stranded and it being my only car I paid the $450 for them to replace my starter but now the new starter is making grinding noises when I try to start my car. I’m not sure if they messed up anything else in my car but this place is awful.
Marcos and the other employees have been so nice and helpful with my car. I sincerely cant say enough nice things. My car is old, older than my daughter, and like most people right now, money is tight. They fix your car, treat you with respect, and are nice.

I came in due to a headlight being out.I was quoted 75 dollars to replace the headlight. 30min after my appointment time, the sales advisor came out to change my quote to $400 due to needing HID bulb. They didnt have the part immediately available, so i left and made an appointment for another day. I did some research and found the part for much cheaper online. I also did some research into the issue causing my headlight problem. While looking into the issue, I discovered that my headlight was not actually the problem, but I had simply blow a fuse. A minor/cheap/quick fix that should have been caught by the mechanics at the shop. This tells me either 1. They knew and were trying to rip me off for $400 or 2. They are incompetent as mechanics. Either way, I will never attempt to do business with this shop again, nor will I recommend anyone else to.

STUDENTS BEWARE!!!!! My daughter goes to college and had a tire going flat. I did a quick search and asked her to go to the Firestone at the mall. I directed her to say she had something in her left rear tire. She told them this and the answer was that the nail was in the crevice and she needed a new tire. She sent me a picture and the nail was in the middle tread. I called her and told her to go across the street and they kindly patched the tire. I called the manger who quickly had a memory lapse of it happening. I asked it he felt it was appropriate to abuse unknowing college students and he didn’t offer anything other than a continued memory lapse. I thanked him for his time and told him I thought he may want the information for future encounters with students and parents who know better.
College students: DO NOT GO HEREMy college-student daughter took her car to them and they recommended $1,500 worth of unnecessary work. I encouraged her to get two additional quotes and we found more reputable shops who only quoted a simple $300 fixUpdate 11.8.20: My second college-student daughter bought a battery from this site less than a year ago. It died and when she went to have it replaced (because its under warranty) they charged her $50 to install the new one.
I had an unbelievable experience with Will when I dropped my car off. I was called about any adjustments to the service provided and corresponding charges. I was listened to when I confirmed or denied their suggestions, and when I picked up my car at the end of the day, everything I’d asked for (or asked them not to do for the time being) had been done well and my wishes completely respected and the amount charged was exactly what I was expecting thanks to the communication. I’ll be returning in the future!
Had a 5:00 pm appointment to get my oil changed. My car didnt get worked on till 5:45. Told it would it woukd only take about an hour... the work was done at 6:30 pm. Weird that you can be on time for an appointment and they dont work on your car at the appointment time. Thought that was the point of an appointment.
Staff was nice but it took over 6 hours to replace one tire. And my car still says that I have a flat, so now I have to go back 😣
Generally don’t jump online to leave negative experiences, but this felt this was noteworthy. I booked an 8:30 AM appointment for an alignment as well as to have a part replaced. I showed up on time and my appointment is nowhere on the books.They tell me they can get me in still and it’ll only be an hour to service, I waited 3 & a 1/2 hours. They didn’t fix it entirely, could’ve had something to do with the fact the alignment guy didn’t come in to work and the manager was doing my job. In addition it wasn’t till the end that they told me one of the items I was requesting to be replaced wasn’t available and had to refund me. At least it was only a halfway waste of time. Would recommend you go elsewhere.
Setup a appointment online, went in and it was canceled, said 2 hours before they could even put in the bay. Went down the road and got the car washed and oil change for less than firestone
Got new tires installed today. I asked for a wheel alignment because I did notice the car was veering slightly left. $690.54. My car was last to be serviced so they called me to let me know they left it in the parking lot ready to be picked up. I didnt feel any improvement in the alignment but that I can live with. The most disappointing thing was the Picasso grease signatures left all over the drivers side of my car. Was that really necessary? So unprofessional. I wish I could leave a photo. It was quite substantial and spread out and almost looks like someone went out of their way to do. I dont know if that was someones idea of being funny but after patronising a business with almost $700 dollars of my hard earned money. I am not laughing.
These people are lifesavers!!! Was going on a roadtrip tomorrow and these were the only people who would squeeze me in for an oil change. Will took excellent care of us and made sure we understood everything we would need to check and maintain for our adventure. I really appreciate how kind and quick they all were.
Terrible experience with Aaron. I went in there asking for them to assess my tire and patch/plug if possible since I had a tire ordered and being delivered in a week. He came outside, looked at it... Didnt even touch the tire or look for the leak and says that well check it out.He said itd take an hour at most and that ended up being 4 hours. I had to keep calling them rather than them notifying me that they were done.Anyways, he gets on the phone and says I know you bought a tire already, but I can give you a good deal if you sign up for our credit card. He sounded like a puppet pushing his sales script rather than being relevant.Long story short, stay away from him as he lies through his teeth.

Went in for a simple tire patch, got the car back without a working drivers side window and the radio wasn’t working either. I was told due to COVID they had to role down windows and it stopped working in their hands. After keeping my car for another 4 hours so a tech could look at they told me they could not figure it out was told that probably the motor in door went bad. I got home replaced one fuse and everything was working again. Either techs don’t know basic electrical, or it was never looked at in the beginning? Wouldn’t recommend 2nd time having issues here
These guys are the worst. Scheduling an appointment is useless. Last 4 times I has used these clowns service for a mere oil change, it took 4-6 hours. Had an appointment for 10AM and car was not even inspected after more than 3 hours! Unless you have a flat tire in their parking lot I would most definitely look for ANY other option. Never again will I use this joke of an automotive repair shop. 0 STARS
You won’t get what you pay for. This is the second time I have gone here for an oil change with different cars and again they don’t do the services I’m told I will receive. Never topped off fluids or filled tires with air. Very disappointing. How can I trust they even did the oil change.

I had a flat tire which AAA had to inflate so I could drive over to Firestone. I got there before 8:00 but was told the tire guy wouldnt be there until 9:00. He had a tech look at it in the meantime to assess whether it could be repaired. Unfortunately, it was beyond repair. I was kept informed of the status and soon I was on my way. The gentleman who greeted me and took care of me the entire time I was there was friendly, helpful and courteous. My visit to the Westshore Firestone store was pleasant and I was pleased with the service provided.
They were not able to obtain a complete set of the 4 tires I wanted, so they gave me an awesome upgrade at no extra cost. This was way above and beyond my expectations and I would recommend their service to everyone! Extremely happy with the service and attention. This is definitely my go to place in the future!

Had an appointment for noon to get 2 tiresreplaced. Took over 2 and a half hours before it was finally done, they didn’t apologize or anything to make up for it. If they knew it was a long wait time they should have said something and I would have rescheduled. Last time I ever set foot in a firestone
This is my second time coming to the location on Kennedy and both times I’ve came the young man Will always goes above and beyond to make sure that my car is handled with care and that service is speedy but also done correctly I highly recommend the store off of Kennedy and if you go in ask for Will he makes it happen without a shadow of a doubt great place awesome employees.
I’ve been a loyal customer to firestone ever since I got my driver’s license. The Washington State locations have always provided great service and got the job done first time. Since I’ve moved to florida I’ve been shocked at the difference. I’ve been to a couple Firestone’s in the area none of which have been outstanding, but this one really takes the cake for terrible. I originally went in a few weeks ago to get a leaky tire fixed, few days later the tire is leaking again which is not great. When I took my car back to see if they could try again, I ended up waiting for a long time to speak to someone. When he finally did greet me he told me he didn’t see me, but I saw him when I walked in on his phone. He then very condescendingly told me that I had showed up at an inconvenient time for him and that they couldn’t help me today and then proceeded to ask why I chose the time I did to show up. Which was upsetting and ironic to hear as the real inconvenience was the fact that I had to come back again to get something fixed again that was supposed to have already been fixed... thought the whole situation was handled poorly, no apologies for the mess up, no accomidation made for the mess up. Terrible customer service. After speaking with him I told some of my coworkers about the experience and funny enough one of them told me that they too got a leaky tire fixed there recently and it is also leaking again!! Pick another store friends this location is not the one.

Always used Firestone for tires breaks alignments ect. I had an emergency and came in with a metal object sticking out of one of my tires and ask them if they would patch it. They TURNED ME AWAY. I have spent thousands of dollars here on vehicle upgrades and needed them for an actual emergency repair. They refused me and I will never give this company another dollar. Its clear they only care about big jobs and not their customers. Very disappointing
I ended up paying over $1,000 when I was originally quoted for about $700 (which is a violation of a state statute, but whatever). Not only that, the issue I took my car in to get fixed was not fixed, and my car is still having the same issue.
I made an appointment for an oil change online and the guys started working on my car promptly. I waited for only 30-45 minutes and they ALWAYS honor their coupons. I only go to these guys for my oil changes and I will continue to do so.
I had a bad experience at the dealership and Will took good care of me, understanding why I would not return to be ripped off at Westshore Honda. Same light came on the next day and they checked fuse box without costly diagnostic test!! Jose explained what he did after the work he did. A great group AND they all seem to enjoy their jobs!! Marcos Acosta you should be proud, great staff comes from management!!. The wait was a bit long but I was never ignored on a very busy day. Thanks for saving $ and stress worrying about what might have been a very costly repair. See you in 2020!!

In preparation for a two-thousand mile trip to Denver, my wife scheduled a tire balancing, rotation, oil change, and a visual inspection to ensure the car was safe for a long raid trip. Prior to dropping the car off, she marked the tires so she could later check if they were ever rotated. An employee called and asked her where the wheel-lock key was. She told them it was in the trunk. They called her afterwards and told her that her car was ready. She picked it up only to find the wheels were never taken off the car, and the receipt stated she declined the tire rotation and balancing service, which she had not. She called to ask why, and they stated they couldnt find the wheel-lock key. So she opens the trunk to find it right where she said it was, and takes the car back there for the rotation and balancing she already paid for. After she picks up the car, she realizes that the tires marks are still in the same places, proving the wheels had never been rotated. She had to go back again for a third trip to have the tires rotated. After this experience, she couldnt trust their work so she brought the car to our mechanic to check over the vehicle. He found that her brake rotors were bad and needed to be changed immediately, and her rear shock absorber was leaking on the tire, which would cause damage to the tire over time. Each time she went, Firestone never told her they didnt complete their work. They put my wife and daughters lives at risk. We will never return.

Came in here at 640, they close at 7. I bottomed out my car and my under engine cover was disrupting the cycle of my cooling fan because of the bottom out. I live in Palm Harbor these guys are in Tampa. They fixed it right away so that I wouldn’t have to spend $50 on an Uber FOR FREE and saved me a massive amount of struggle. Forever grateful for mechanics like these.
My car wouldnt start after work, I got someone to jump me and I called to see if Firestone could check my battery. I was told, by Anthony, yes, but the wait would be close to 90 minutes and as long as I was here by 6. I did not have many choices after 5pm. I got here and turns out I needed a battery. I appreciated the honesty on the time estimate. I didnt mind waiting since I had fair warning. Thank you Anthony for being honest about the timing and for getting my battery installed so I could get home to St. Petersburg. Will be back should I need anything else for my vehicles anytime soon.Edit to add the fact that I later was told the arm that holds the battery in was stripped when they pulled it and that arm was knocking and hitting my hood. I brought it in for a knocking. Dealer tried to charge $8000 for this luckily I found an honest mechanic in St. Pete took care of it under $20.

I came in with an out of whack problem with my front my right tire of my Jeep Wrangler, I came in at 6:15 and by 7:00 Anthony (one of the employees) had my vehicle looked at, he even showed me what was going on and immediately gave me a break down of what needed to be replaced with the cost. He assured me that they would get it taken care of and that he would give me a call before tomorrow afternoon that it would be ready to pick up. He was absolutely wonderful and I will continue to come back to this particular location because of his kindness and how helpful he was upon a simple walk in.
Had to drive five miles on the Veterans stuck in the Express lane when my tire was disintegrating. When I was able to exit at Cypress they were the closest shop. Mike also quoted me half the nearby competitor and the quote held, and I was back on the road shortly. Dont hesitate.
This is my go-to place for alignments and wheel balance. No other shop comes close to accuracy of the wheel balance. Also, this is the only place that I have seen tech use a torque wrench to correctly tighten wheel lugs. -1 star because this place is always understaffed.
Walked in and Gonzo gave me a quote on the tires I decided on. He made recommendations on specials to get me the best deal. Great customers service and in less that two hours I got my car back complete. When I walked in I didnt plan on buy today, but glad I did!

Dont bother coming here for a simple tire patch. Even though the technician said One hour. Dropped it off at 1:50 p.m. and it wasnt ready for pick up till AFTER 6 p.m. absolutely ridiculous. Not sure where they think an hour equates to over 4! Go anywhere but here. Seriously.

This place is horrible. They consistently take hours longer than they say and don’t seem to care about the inconvenience. Today, I had an appointment and made sure to get there on time - as a show of respect for their time. But they told me they were busy and wouldn’t be able to honor my appointment. I could leave my car there all day - and spend money to Uber back and forth. Don’t waste your time here if you value your own time. They are the worst.
They helped me out, great place. Had a flat tire took it to them to find out my rim is bent but they were able to fix it for me while I try to find another rim for my corvette.
The manager, Marcos Acosta, goes the extra mile to pull the wool over your eyes.I went in for a rear brake pad&rotor replacement on my BMW 528i. I asked for all OEM parts. Acosta assured me that all parts are original BMW. I was surprised at the lower price and asked him is he sure everything is OEM and he said yes.When I came to pick up my vehicle I asked to see the invoice and the guy said that the bill does not print until I pay for it, I can only see the techs notes. I asked again if everything is OEM, and he said yes. (I found out later that it is illegal to not show the bill before payment)After I paid and I saw the invoice, the rotors were Carquest rotors that are $50 at Advanced Auto Parts and Acosta charged me $97 for each rotor. After a heated dispute Acosta did not care about my experience and told me to pay the overage if I wanted to get the BMW rotors.Disputed the charge with my credit card company, never again using Firestone.
Did work I didnt request. Caught it and they took it off the bill otherwise friendly, polite. Clean. Convenient to mall and conference center.
Worst management and time planner from this locationCome to do alignment to my car arrive at 11:30am was promised the car will be ready by 2 the most at 2:30pm.Called to check status on my car at 2:15 and was told that me car still not been work on and I have another car a head of meSpend 3 hours waiting for my car to be service and it didn’t leave the parking spot I left it 3 hours after.Wile is the service man that was in charge there and had me west 3 hours of my time for nothingSo back to square one my car still need alignment and I just lost 3 hours of my time waiting on nothingWill Never service my car in this location and will not recommend any one to do so horrible customer service and management
Had them replace a fuel line on a truck. Didnt even make it home before it disconnected and the engine shut off while driving. Took it to another firestone and they could immediately tell it wasnt installed properly. Dont waste your money here!!

My rental car got a flat while I was on vacation and I was told to take it to this location.Cut to three hours later and my car is still sitting there. This, obviously, was ridiculous and I got a bit upset and made my displeasure known to the employees of this fine establishment. Turns out, my anger was misplaced and it was a bunch of rental company tomfoolery that was causing the delay.Once made aware, one of the employees, Mercedes, went above and beyond to make things right for us. She called the rental company and basically tore them a new one for half an hour, demanding that they make things right so I could continue enjoying my vacation. It was pretty incredible to watch and kind of thawed my bitter, jaded heart to see a stranger try so hard to help me out of a bad situation.The customer service I received was beyond anything Ive ever encountered. If the rest of the employees at this location are even half as good at their jobs as Mercedes, I can wholeheartedly tell you that youre in good hands at this Firestone .
I got my 325CI BMW towed to this location and straight from the start the crew was very helpful, courteous, knowledgeable, and respectful....I appreciate the hospitality that was shown during my visit....even when my phone was dying Chris charged it up for me and volunteered to drive my cracked rim to a shop to be repaired....also the head mechanic stopped working on rebuilding an engine and helped get my rim and tire fixed......THANKS FELLOWS.....BLUE BMW 325 CI.....I was there Mon Sept 10th

Came to Westshore Firestone. Lawrence said he is the manager (their website says it is Jacob Gregg). I asked for tire rotation, alignment and maintenance. I went to the mall to walk around. Super fast service. They called me. I asked if they did tire rotation, they said yes. I asked Lawrence why it does not show on the paper receipt. He said it is because he did it for free so he didnt charge me. I responded saying they never charge me, I paid to have the service for lifetime free rotations and it always includes in the paper tire rotation n/c. He said he will add to the receipt and print a new one. He then got Bryan (technician) who said he did NOT rotate the tires because it didnt need to be done. I asked if the alignment check was done. They said yes but they cant print the paper because the printer is not working. They would have to put my car again on the thing again to show me the alignment is ok. I said why cant you print it on the printer you used for the paper receipt? The receipt is on a regular-sized paper and is even in color. He said it is a different computer and printer so they cant. This all sounds like BS to me. It is all unfortunate because mechanics have a bad reputation and this encounter did not help. I wont be coming to this Firestone anymore.
Dont bother making an appointment here. They wont keep it. Walked in for my 2 oclock appointment today while on my lunch break, was told the shop was running behind, and my truck would not be able to be taken in until 3pm for a simple tire patch, and the truck wouldnt be ready until 3:45-4pm. I understand that things happen, but why not contact me via the phone number, or email address I was forced to submit on the appointment form online? Unprofessional, rude, unapologetic, and unworthy of getting my business. I suggest you all make the same choice.
Upon leaving an office visit I discovered a screw sticking out of my tire. Knowing it wouldnt get better by itself I drove to Firestone which was close by. The tire was inspected and because of the location of the screw (on the side of the tire) it was likely unrepairable and would have to be replaced. I approved the replacement and was given some options. I asked that they rotate the tires while they had the car on the lift as well. A little while later the shop manager came by and handed me my keys and said the car was ready. They were able to remove the screw, and because it was imbedded in the tread, and not the sidewall, the tire was fine and did not need to be replaced. I appreciate their honesty in not replacing the tire, even after I authorized it. Also because I had a set of Firestone tires (not bought there) they did the rotation for free. Total bill for services rendered $0.00. Thanks again Firestone for doing the right thing when no one was looking.
My car overheated at 6pm and fortunately, I was near this Firestone store. I pulled in as they were about to close and spoke with Marcel. He was wonderfully helpful, and actually advised me to go to the dealer and save money since it was an engine issue that would be covered under my warranty. He locked my car up overnight, free of charge, until it could be towed to the dealer the next morning. Marcel was thoughtful, courteous and concerned for my safety as a single woman, stranded in Tampa in the dark. I have had perfectly good experiences with this Firestone Store in the past with tire changes and such, but this extended courtesy and helpful hand was a Godsend at an anxious time. Thank you Marcel; I nominate you for Employee of the Month!!
Horrible. Just one man at the counter. More than 20 minutes in line. Lack of service, long waiting. I don’t recommend this store

I do not remember what happened two years ago, I gave bad review, after that, I had three best experiences in this location, especially today, quick service, VIP attention, better deal. The manager is super.

I have always been a Firestone customer and when moving to Tampa I automatically went to Firestone. Unfortunately this location is just poorly run and I have not had a good experience and Ive gone in 3 times. They up charge and find things to fix that arent necessary. Sad because Ive always been a satisfied Firestone customer but I am definitely going to find a new mechanic in town.
Left daughters tire to be replaced. Paid up front. Never got a call back. When I called to follow up they said the tire came in but when they called the person said the tire was too expensive and they didnt want it. I had already paid!!When they finally got the new tire on and called us we were told we had not paid for the tire up front. Turns out they were looking at the wrong customers records It was on the receipt???Asked them to put the spare back in its place under the rear. They said they had. Daughter left and the first place she stopped someone told her the spare was hanging down and she needed to get somewhere to have it put in correctly.Geez. I dont write reviews but this was just too ridiculous. Extremely poor service. Go somewhere else.
They will always try to up sell you for services that you dont need. But thats not the worst part, they are dishonest and dont follow through with their promises. I recently had a realignment done there and they made changes to my vehicle without noting it in the system. Go at your own risk....
Avoid this place at all costs. I had an oil change done and it was done so badly that the oil fell out of my car. I was on a road trip at the time and I thank God I was not on the highway when my car stoped and would not start again.Now it turns out my engine is damaged thanks to them. I have been trying to work with there customer care team to get a new engine put in. THEY HAVE NOT RETURNED MY CALLS OR EMAILS. My care has been sitting at tge dealership for 3 weeks. I just want them to pay to replace the engine they destroyed.

Do not go here unless you have a whole morning or a whole afternoon for a simple oil change. Took an hour and a half WITH an appointment. Disappointing and will not be returning.
This afternoon, I pulled into the Firestone in Tampa. I had 4 inch nail in my rear back tire. It was going flat. I could not use my spare because I could not get the tire off under my own power. I told the associate of the situation. I was told, come back tomorrow.How does a tire store tell me to come back tomorrow, with a 4 inch nail sticking out and a tire going flat? Nevermind, how does a tire store advise me to drive on this tire to another store/home? I live 12 miles away. Going home and coming back tomorrow is not an option. The associates only solution was to go to a competitor.So I did,Thank you
Had a couple of minor yet understandable setbacks but Tony and the Manager, Jacob, did a great job of getting me taken care of and on my way! Thank you for the great customer service!
