My boyfriend and I went in just to look around and see what was new, as we were chatting about different games Damien overheard me ask what one was like. He came over to us and was incredibly informative and easy to talk to. We ended up purchasing a game and talking to Damien about several different games. Absolutely stellar customer service!

This Gamestop has a great selection of Funkos. But dont hold your breath about new releases. They only got in a single diamond/glitter squirtle Funko and no idea if theyll get anymore 😥 Still good prices and abundant other items. I order offline mostly

Carlos and Alex are very friendly and very patience during my trade-in time. They help me a lot when I did trade-in and help me to find my lost data. I really recommend this store, you will get really good experience!

Went in here for the first time this week and it was a decent little spot.

The store itself, other than being very clean and organized, is pretty much GameStop standard. The employee I dealt with however, really made it a 5 star experience. I regret not getting his name, but watching him serve the ladies in front of me (They were exchanging a Zelda jacket), help out his co-worker with a register issue, deal with a phone call, ring up my Funko Pop, AND never lose his good humor? Yeah, Ill be back.

Scored the last in-store for sale OLED Switch on launch day, after having missed out on the preorders. Staff was supes helpful, here and at another location, in tracking down where there might be one/some and what they expected in terms of crowds. Thanks to their help I ended up going even though I could get there until an hour or more after opening. After waiting patiently with the rest of the crowd, for what left like another hour I finally got my chance at the register where my forlorn request for an OLED Switch was cheerfully greeted with a, “Let me check… Yes, it looks like we have ONE left, the black with blue and red joy-cons. Would you like that one?”Ah, oh, my, did my heart sing.BoTW here I come.

The employee was very nice and cordial while under duress kept his composure and rocked on🤘🤘

Dont bother calling. The phone ringing apparently doesnt exist. Tried 5 times in the span of an hour and just rang until it disconnected.

This place is ridiculous, I called numerous times and it’s impossible to get in contact with someone. Nobody wants to drive down there for you to tell us you don’t have something when you can just say that if you answered. Smh.

I have been going to GameStop religiously for 10 years now. I recently moved to Tamp from Northern Virginia and haven’t been to the store due to the pandemic. I been in the store to browse once or twice but the location didn’t have what I looked for which is fine. I had an extra Xbox one controller that I used on my PC. I have a PS5 now and I haven’t used it it since. I decided to trade it in instead of leaving it laying around. I wasn’t expecting much. I looked at the app first and different color controller of the same item were being traded in for cash and credit. The regular base controller was only going to be except for credit. I no longer have a a pro account because I haven’t been to the store like I said in the beginning. The app stated I would get 15 credit and 16.50 for a pro account. I figured I would ask about the cash option in the store. I walked in they greeted me which was fine enough. She asked if I wanted cash or credit I stated cash. She looked it up and said this particular controller was only available for credit. I explained the different controller situation in the app and she stated the cash option was .31 cents. I moved on and asked if I could use the credit to get PSN credit. She stated I have to make sure the controller works which is fine although it still rubbed me the wrong way assuming I would bring in a broke product for trade. Anyway they quote me 10 dollars and it’s just a 5 dollar difference but now it’s the principle of the matter. I show them the app prices. She calls someone else over and now I’m arguing over the 5 dollar difference that their own companies apple application is showing me. They spend 10 mins looking it up. They find the correct sku and ring me out for my trade. What irritates me about this is if they are doing this for a controller how many people are they screwing on other things. Anyway you’re either going to use GameStop or not. My account is like 15 years old and this is probably the last day I’ll walk into one.

The staff is so friendly and informative, but I gave it 2 stars because they hardly ever have the games I want and this is the second time I went in there and they didnt have my game.

Dont have any consoles or console remotes in stock with no sign on door to let customers know in advance Instead of waiting in line for 20 minutes to find out.

The store manager, Chris, is so helpful. He knows the products very well and makes awesome suggestions (Im in the market for a new keyboard and mouse). I will definitely be returning.

Went there to get a Xbox one controller the woman at the front desk told me that the controller was play tested and was working fine I come home for a couple hours do my stuff around my house and then finally get it ready to play my game and minute the controller disconnects from my Xbox and cycles on and off then I went back to the store and there was nothing they could do about it

Me and my guy friend went to this store on the door was a notice saying to call in and they would meet you at the door so a guy that works there came to the door for another customer helped him then told my friend he had to order online so we set in the car to do so when another couple came up the same guy came to the door asked what they needed went in the store came back to the door and said what the price was and made the exchange now I felt the was one of the most races things every! But it did motivate us we are now looking for vendors to open our own game store!🖤🖤

I have been a gamestop member for almost 10 years and well I game pretty heavily guess.you could say I take it seriously but if I spend my hard earned money on something I want my worth of course, well i bought a xbox elite controller pre owned of course but what I was not told was that both of these joysticks have drift and have been a nuisance repeatedly and if you know anything about gamestops policy they dont accept returns or refunds so honestly I wasted $180 on a defective controller that will cost more money to fix then it would to replace.

Just okay ....they could do better on deals...smh

For all of the horror stories Ive heard about working at GameStop, whenever I come here the people seem to genuinely enjoy being there. I dont know if theyre good at acting or this particular place is just a good one. Either way, the customer service is spot on and everyone is knowledgeable about just about everything in the store.

Came in to pick up Spiderman on release night. I didnt know that 2k was releasing the same night so the line was wrapped around the building. The staff was very courteous and efficient. Once 9pm came they got everyone in and out in a very timely matter and I give them Kudos for that. This GameStop is definitely a favorite of mine as a newcomer to the Tampa area.

The store is always well stocked. All the associates always take their time and answer my sons 101 questions. I appreciate them for that. Mind you he is 12. They were open on Thanksgiving when we went.

Im a bit surprised that mainstream game stores still exist considering online sales and downloads are typically cheaper but when i used to go here everything was always fine. The staff knows games and can help you find whatever you are looking for and are nice about it. Parking can be difficult but just park by the Perkins if the strip is busy

I love the people who work here! They are kind and personable. I like the way they lay everything out in this store as well, and theres always some kind of good deal here. MAGA has 2 meanings: make America great again ...and... make America Game again. :D Im gonna miss the guy with the beard the most when I move away. Hes one of the coolest people ever and he even seems to like my husbands jokes. Seriously, you all have to check this place out. Mugs and t-shirts and other little novelties and GAMES

I just called this store. The person who answered did not even identify the store as game stop. It felt like I phoned a private individual. When he answered he said “Hello, Goodbye” and he hung up the phone. That was very rude and disrespectful. I am not calling back, although it is the closest location to me, I’d rather take the drive for better customer service.

Helpful staff and great collection for newer generation consoles. Unfortunately, without the Power-Up card, you cant really take advantage of most of their deals. Can easily find cheaper videogames at any pawn shop, nearby.

I know everyone is doing everything online but sometimes its nice to go somewhere to get a battery charger pack for your Xbox one controller immediately when you need it. Also, its nice to come here and interact with people who like video games

This is where I normally go if I need any games or have any questions. Went to a midnight launch for Pokemon Sun & Moon. The event was organized very well and the store made sure to keep the line in an orderly fashion. Among the people were activities such as a pokemon battle tournament, and a place for people to trade or talk. Food was sold and overall increased everyones enjoyment for the event. Store is usually well stocked although a bit cramped feeling depending on how busy it is or what time of day.

Some of the staff just didnt want to help while others were over worked and multi tasking. Help customers dont just act busy because you do not want to talk. The woman who helped me was knowledgeable and made sure to explain everything since I bought a brand new ps4. That is customer service which is why ill go back to that store more than any other. The selection is iffy but with the right staff member they will take care of everything! Always get a warranty its not worth the hassle haha

Nothing at all. Poor communication both from sales and management team. Secondly, regardless is you all are closed at 9, if you have a customer calling about an issue do not rush them of the phone by saying repeatedly we re closed *management* it is your job as a manager to lead by example -Ben ..... if your job is that stressful where you cant customer service customers properly I would advise you to let someone else run the store or manage it because you are not a leader or have business mind set. Your whole team needs to be re-evaluated and trained.

I went to the GameStop 8 minutes before closing. I shop at this location frequently and they 2 guys closing refused to let me trade in a game for my daughter. Very poor customer service. And he stated didnt care about turning away a customer. I thought it was rude and makes me want to use online trading services versus local services. You should never treat a customer like that. I will personally call the store manager. On the google the store hours are listed as closing at 10pm.

Store was dirty, the employees are rude and lazy and do not seem to appreciate their customers. One lady stared at me the entire 10 minutes I was in there and made me feel do awkward. Horrible, dangerous location also. 1 star is a good as it gets.

If Im not satisfied with my purchase, I will return it. I always have my receipts. I cant help but feel like its too much for them to just do their jobs and reverse the transaction. Ive been declined this service on two different occasions. Now I received my monthly issue of game informer with a note underneath my address stating,All he does is return. This location always gives me issues as well as attitude. I have a serious issue with that note on my magazine. If my business is not welcome here then I will spend my time and money elsewhere.

This location never seems to have what I want. Not sure why that is but it does get annoying.As for the pricing... Gamestop as a whole needs to work on it. Some things are price great but others are way out of the range it should be in.And lastly they need to work on their buyback pricing. Its a little underhanded. Yeah I get that they need to make a profit but I would rather you just say we dont take certain aged titles rather than offering .59c etc lol. Or even like if you buy s brand new game a d bring it back the same day you get offered half what you paid. Then they sell it at a 5 dollar difference from a new game price. Sheesh.

Never had any issues with any GameStop but this one. The guys were rude and didnt offer to complete my console trade in because they were closing in 30 mins. The kicker is I was the only 1 in the store while there was 3 staff present. I will never go to the Fowler location ever again and I may stop going period. Couldnt believe the laziness and poor customer service!!!

They are not answering their phone after I called 4 times about the playstation classic because I was going to get one there. Since they are $40 dollars on there app I wanted to see if they had one but nobody answered so I started to look at other stores and I found out that Target has them for $20 dollars. $20 dollars less than gamestop so thank you gamestop for not answering you just saved me $20 dollars.P.S. Friendly staff along with great game selection. However, Gamestop is known to pay pennies on the dollars for any game, so if you want to sell your games do it elsewhere.
