I have to rave about this GameStop, particularly an employee there named Alina. I spent my entire day driving around to GameStop’s as most of them don’t answer the phone or have a I’m busy attitude. When I called this one. I was welcomed as a loyal customer, she was able to video if they have product in stock and made sire to put it aside for me. When I got there she went above and beyond to she you guys had the correct products in stock to fit my needs. People come places not only for products but an experience. I live far out in holiday and will drive past every GameStop to be treated the way she did here. Thank you for Being a great representation of what a company should stand for!!!
They never answer the phone when you call, I did have a pleasant experience when I went into the store but I have a question and can’t reach them.
GameStop is decent they have removed almost all the Xbox 360 playstation 3 Wii ds games which is sad cause those consoles are the ones I mostly play on not to mention their prices are going up black ops for example on the Wii when I bought it was 10 dollars and now the games price is 18 buck and trade pricing and money pricing is Garbage dont sell your games at any GameStop you might as well keep your games

I would go to literally any other GameStop before I went to this one. Associates refuse to answer the phone on any day/any time and are less than pleasant when you meet them in store. It’s a shame this is the closest location to me because I find myself still needing things from GameStop often.
This place has a very personal approach to dealing with a customer, I am way behind in the gaming world and rely heavily on my brother for advice. He wasnt reachable and the young huskey dark skinned gentleman, whos name eludes me at the moment, was so helpful and cool about everything. He explained what would probably be good for me without being a salesman and I appreciate that. Recommend this place to everyone who enjoys gaming and great service.
During these times you need good customer service and this location has that.

Staff lost my pre order money and did not offer any type of compensation. Only response when i asked how this issue can be resolved was “i don’t know what’s going on I’ve only been manager for two weeks”. This was even after another worker said they saw my pre order at the store but they sold it to another customer. Will never be returning to this location again.

On 1/24/19 my boyfriend came in to pick up the game he ordered. The two workers kept sending us to the back of the line because he didn’t have his receipt. When he pre ordered the game the employees said he was on the list and to show up at 9 pm. We get here and spent an hour waiting on these people who took everyone in front of us even though he paid for the deluxe addition. We will never be coming back here because the staff were SO rude to us in front of a whole store.

Most GameStops are the same, but the Dale Mabry location holds a better footing in the realistic side of its business. Providing available video game copies for its customers, extensively knowledgeable staff, and quick, attentive service, this GameStop is a safe bet for purchasing any game on the market. The staff is helpful, friendly, and willing to work on a personal level. If looking to expect a lot more than the traditional transactional interaction, then youre not aware of how simple this business is. Any time you need a game, you know theyve got it. The deals they offer also offer incentive to buy with them instead of places like Walmart where customer service and knowledge is no better than asking a horse how to lay eggs.

Went there today looking for action figures that were on sale (five gamestops in one day!), and even though they didnt have what I was looking for, the ASM there was absolutely wonderful. I didnt catch her name unfortunately, but she is definitely an asset and deserves a promotion for the assistance she provided me! Thank you!
Overly priced and false advertising.They market games 4 for $20 but they are only games that are under $10 which they do not have any for that. I bought a used game for $44 when I found the same one on AMAZON for $19. Its a total scam.
These folks really care about gaming and getting you the stuff you want. Shop local with these folks instead of amazon.
Its a good place but if u gonna sell your games here or in any gamestop i suggest not because i sold a rare ds game and they only gave me 25 cents :/

Do not buy pre owned equipment, also probably dont ask for any sort of advice. I came in for something simple, an xbox controller. First they sold me a wired one, my one prerequisite was that it didnt feel different in my hands, they would not let me try one in the store but guaranteed it was exactly the same. I could tell the second I held it was not. They then sold me a red ore owned controller because they were out of the new. My only question was, do you check to make sure these work? Again 100% lied to... the a button doesnt work and 5 days after I buy it the controller wont even stay connected to the Xbox anymore. I had surgery on the 6th day and didnt return it on the 7th. So now Im out $54 dollars and my time for like 4 different trips all because these employees are bad at their job. Im furious.

I know its a video game shop but the horrible attitude throughout the store is mind blowing. I pre ordered and pre purchased a $79.99 title and when I didnt show up to the midnight release was told that they werent going to give me my game due to a family emergency. In what world do we live in where you pre purchase something, have the receipt and a retailer tells you they arent going to provide the product you paid for. The female at the location is extremely rude.

I have never been to a gamestop as rude or lazy as this one. I asked an employee to help checkout a ds game and was told sure then after waiting a few minutes she came back and said sorry im on break someone else can help you so i thought ok wow really then i went to the counter for help and was told i had to wait in line. After finally getting to the counter and got the game i saw another game that peaked my interest and asked can i see that game right there? and the employee made fun of the way i said the word there and the manager laughed with him, at this point i just wanted to get my game and leave because it was ridiculous. i dont recommend going to this gamestop at all
Girl that works here has the worst attitude. I try to avoid going to this location but they always have what I need in stock. You can tell she is just there to make a pay check and Ive witnessed her picking and choosing who she would give great customer service to and who she wouldnt provide that to. She automatically charge you for disc replacement whether you ask for it or not. Unfortunately everytime I have no other choice but to go to this specific location and she is always there acting as if she doesnt care about the customers needs . Atleast I get whatever game or accessory I need for all three of my current generation consoles, but the staff lack true customer service skills and energy.

That store is really lazy, i called to check if they had a certain system in stock and they told me know, which is understandable, so i asked if she could look up and tell me which is the closest store that may have it ( i was on the road and headed that way) and she told me to just look it up and didnt even try to look it up for me. laziest most unconvenient gamestop around. i understand that i COULD have looked it up, but your supposed to make OUR lives easier by doing it for us. especially if you dont know if were out on the road or something. i mean come on. wont be going there or calling there ever again.

Got a used kinect for Christmas from here. Box clearly says Kinect with ac adapter. No ac adapter in the box, only the kinect sensor. Try explaining this to the rep on the phone and I believe my dog would have given me a better and more professional opinion on what to do. Took it down there and they did not believe me that it didnt come with one, (obviously, I should have known that its clearly impossible that some jabrone who boxed this used kinect would have left out the ac adapter.) Bought a brand new NBA2K11, when I put in my XBOX360 I got a unreadable disc error?? I brought back the next day to exchange, and the manager Jason tells me they dont exchange, my XBOX 360 caused the problem ???? He said he could give me trade in only, 12 dollars???? I went to another game stop at the Westshore mall, and explained the situation to Tony the manager, he told me Gamestop has a 30 day exchange policy, he swapped the game out and gave me a new one !!! Unbelievable, I will never do business at this Gamestop again, and Jason is a liar, he repeatedly told me it was my fault, and there is nothing Gamestop can do. Bad bad business as far as I am concerned at this store, I will be calling the corporate office to let them know how Jason handles there customers. Jeff Camara

I ordered the sims 4 game 03/03/2018 and it was supposed to be delivered between the Tuesday the 03/13 Tuesday 03/20 I haven’t seen it yet I called and they said that it had been delivered on the 03/09 but was shipped out 03/07 but I have been waiting for the Mailman everyday since the order was placed and I don’t understand what the problem is I placed the order at the Dale Mabry store with the GameStop Employee named Yaileen on the 03/03/2018 the time was 1:57pm now they’re telling it may have been some issue with the delivery company so they Replaced my order by now I have to wait for another week to get my order but they expect you to keep spending money with them And I couldn’t get my money back unless I go to the store where I placed the order so they can put it back on my card but please whatever you do Do not let them send orders to your house just stick to pick ups
