Not the largest inventory (Not necessarily their fault, it’s an industry wide issue), good and friendly service in person.Not very good at communication over the phone, it’s pretty obvious that they don’t enjoy the inquiries they get on the phone, I’m sure it gets annoying when people call to ask the same questions.They don’t buy guns, but they do consignment for (20o or 25%), so that’s neat.

Adam and Cole were both friendly and courteous and know what their doing. Cole quickly diagnosed the issues on my gun and set about making it right. This will be my new go to gun guys !

Fantastic place. I have an older model Remington rifle that was giving me some issues with the bolt action, called and was told the gunsmith was currently in so bring it by. Was in the place for 10 min and he had already diagnosed the issue and had the gun fixed. You guys earned yourself a customer for life, thanks.

Absolutely stand up shop! After a terrible experience at a competitor earlier in the day, I found Tampa Arms. These guys made me feel at home, answered all questions that I had, and never made me feel rushed. This is where Ill be purchasing my firearms from now on!

Took my Schofield in 45colt in for a new barrel. Had the gunsmith mill the cylinder bushing down to fit the cylinder to the barrel, and correct gap. Did a awesome job. Very happy. A+.

Because we are living in such trying times, firearm sales are through the roof! Demand is high, so like practically every gun shop out there, the Tampa Arms Companys inventory was a little light. That said, TAC is well stocked in expert knowledge and excellent customer service.I greatly appreciated the help Cole (the owner) provided. He listened carefully to me as I explained what I was looking for in a firearm - a home defense pistol that I wanted to eventually conceal carry - not too big, yet not too small. He was super patient with me as I asked a ton of questions. He took the time to show, demonstrate and explain the differences of various models.Based on my requirements and with Coles help, I narrowed down my choice and I made my purchase. As I said earlier, demand everywhere is high, so I already expected to paid a little bit more than I would have liked, but Im not complaining. I would have happily paid for the knowledge that Cole provided.I highly recommend The Tampa Arms Company.

Great place to go very helpful I bought a 1911 45 online had it sent their even know it was chrismas eve and they were passed closing time they stayed open and did my paper work very nice of them.

I brought my pistol in for some minor work and theses guys are fair and friendly. Good people all around!!! I will bring and refer more work to them

These guys are awesome. Have only visited a couple times but without a doubt will continue business with them. They are very knowledgeable and friendly, whether its fire arm talk or just general conversation. Enjoyed selling them a scope and have purchased ammunition from them. Looking forward to going back!

A couple of Smarta**es operate this shop. They have a very small selection of firearms and virtually no ammo in stock. Don’t waste your time; look for whatever you need online.

I like this store. Their service are great. I ordered a riffle online and picked it up when they notify me. While I waiting for the background checking, we talked a little bit, I feel they are very nice and friendly people. I think their pricing is fair.

Dropped by way near closing on a Saturday to have a muzzle brake installed on a AR-10. It was quickly done and had some good conversation in the process. I was really happy to not have to leave it and drive back. I really liked this place and will be taking more guns there for sure.

As far as answering questions they were great help. Very little ammo and not many firearms. This is more a gunsmith shop.

Staff was very helpful and informative. Answered all my questions with great detail. I did not feel like I was being pressed to purchase anything. I recently purchased two firearms from this retailer in what started out as a pleasant and professional transaction. I utilized the Arc90 financing, as I have previously utilized this method of payment without any issues. During this transaction, they completed the appropriate paperwork and obtained a copy of all my information including a copy of my drivers license and a copy of my concealed carry permit. I was informed that the merchandise would arrive in a couple of days and just needed to stop by and pick it up. Easy enough, no issues up to this point. The day the items arrived, I was informed to pick Them up, which I did without a hitch and even had a nice conversation with the gentleman manning the shop. Excellent experience up to this point. The following day I received a call from the shop asking me to follow up with the finance company as there were some issues, which I did the second I hung up my phone. The Arc90 customer email which I was referred to informed me that I would receive a call from the company to confirm my purchase from a 619 area code as the next step. Alright, so everything looks great and all I have to do is wait for the call from the company to finalize everything. Tuesday comes along, and I receive multiple missed calls on my phone from the shop which I have missed because I am at a place called work. OK. I review the calls and notice I have a voicemail from the shop which absolutely shocked me and completely demonstrated to me how Tampa Arms Company is unprofessional, slandering, and quite frankly, DANGEROUSLY NEGLIGENT. These people had the audacity and ridiculous sense of urgency to THREATEN ME because they had yet to receive their payment from the finance company WHICH THEY HAD NOT VERIFIED PRIOR TO RELEASING THE FIREARMS TO ME. Within the voicemail, they proceeded to make baseless and unfounded claims that I knowingly picked up the firearms which THEY WILLINGLY, LEGALLY, and of THEIR OWN VOLITION released to me within their shop and in a completely legal and mutually consenting transaction before they verified payment. They ACCUSSED ME OF THEFT DESPITE HAVING ALL OF INFORMATION AND HAVING PROCESSED THE FINANCING THEMSELVES, THEY THREATENED TO CONTACT THE LAW ON ME for THEIR NEGLIGENCE. Are you kidding me?! They NEGLIGENTLY released firearms to me without confirming that they received their payment and proceeded to threaten me without even knowing the facts. Upon reviewing the voicemail, I immediately contacted the shop when I was presented with another UNPROFESSIONAL and ACCUSATORY tirade from the gentleman I originally did business with, Adam. I thought he was a cool guy up to this point. I explained the situation and tried to clarify, but not without being addressed like a criminal. Being a professional with two masters degrees and basic etiquette, I did not entertain this level a pettiness and just handled the situation like a man. Unaware of what was going on with the financing other than simply following the instructions in my email from the company, I proceeded to contact the financier and clarified the situation with the assistance of one of ARC90s incredible customer service staff. The shop was informed that I had taken care of the simple issue and that was that. This could have been resolved in a positive way and without unnecessary pettiness. I am writing this review because I feel that this type of purchase should be positive and comfortable for consumers. No purchase should result in the CONSUMER BEING THREATENED, SLANDERED, AND TREATED WITH ABSOLUTE UNPROFESSIONALISM. You cannot leave a 7-11 with a stick of gum prior to the clerk confirming the transaction is complete, why cant Tampa Arms Company do the same with their merchandise, SCARY! This type of NEGLIGENCE and INCOMPETENCE is serious because these types of oversights are the reason our Second Amendment rights are so often challenged. If they can’t keep track of their own finances, imagine what else might be overlooked, Scary! Would not recommend doing business with this company.

Had an excellent experience in the store this friday. Novice shooter with my wife in to research semi-auto handguns. Tom was exceptionally helpful: he listened, asked questions, listened again and then very patiently let us try several guns for feel. We purchased 2 high quality pistols from them, necessary accessories also, and are quite pleased with the entire experience. I look forward to visiting again, definitely worth a long drive from Venice.

Getting my Savage Model 11 .308 threaded with a muzzle brake timed to the 24 inch barrel no crush washer should be finished by next week. Cant wait to get it and take it to the range. The guys there are knowledgeable and very professional. I also got bought some parts for my Glock 19 and they installed it @ NO CHARGE! Very good place for buy a pistol the owner is very nice person and you fell very comfortable.

So I picked up my gun that I ordered online and asked how much for them to stake the gas key of my ar 15 I was told 30 dollars I asked if I could bring it in the following Friday and was told yes. So fast forward to Friday I go in to drop rifle off and while Im there I pick up a rifle case and extra mag to support local buisness. I filled out paper work for process but didnt get price because gunsmith wasnt there yet until 1pm that day . So I was told to call back at 1 pm to talk to gunsmith. So I talk to him he says now it 45 dollars to fix instead of 30 also was told it would be three days so no problem I asked if I could swing back by to pick up because I will be gone outta town for 3and half weeks and didnt wanna pay storage fee and wen I did pick it up boy were they rude I would say thank you and got ignored and even got a do you know this person in a rude sarcastic statement...bad way to do buisness I would of bought my rifle back wen I got back even at the new price but now nope I found another gunsmith willing to do it free and on the spot..

This company is a joke. I called and asked about a gun in stock and someone in the background said I don’t know tell him to go online and check. No business for them.

I brought in a shotgun in need of repair and, instead of having to leave it, the gunsmith looked at it right away, diagnosed the problem and put it right...all for a very reasonable price. Highest recommendation.

Great prices on glock clips. Bought and had them install the truglo tfx fiber optics on my glock 19. WOW! Went to the range and my grouping has improved 100%. Wish I had this installed on my glock 43 but I bought the trijicon HD orange dot from another shop and I dont like it shooting it during daytime. Great staff and very helpful.

I went with my friend to purchase a case of bullets and this guy over charge me three times the value on my card, I checked the account next day and noticed the big difference, I called the store and the guy told me to go after 1pm to talk to the manager or the owner .I went for more than three times to claim my refund and the answer always is the Im going to look into that, finally calling the bank to report as a fraud .Never going back to that place .

Walls are bare racks and the staff wont special order.
