I love the Taylor location. The doctors and staff are very nice and helpful. My daughter has been a patient here since she was 4 and I recently switched to OptimEyes. Every appointment has always been a good one and I love the fact that once you order your glasses they come back pretty quick so you dont have to wait long. Definitely would recommend this location!

DURING COVID-19 THEY ARE KEEPING EVERYTHING CLEAN,GREAT STAFF, ASSUME EYE DOCTORS.

I was pleased with my experience up until the point where I picked my glasses up. I told the gentleman at the pick up station that the prescription was off, he asked me to try them for a few days. I tried but the were still uncomfortable to my eyes. I went back and an Associate did an adjustment ; I informed her that it still wasn’t right again I was asked to try them for a month. Still having eye pain I decided to take them back and when I closed them I noticed her adjustments TOTALLY distorted the designer frame. Today in speaking with the closing manager Ian; first he made me wait so long that the lady at the front Covid station told me to go to him. They had cleared all the customers but knowing I was waiting he didn’t try to make his way to me. I left feeling like he accused me of distorting my frames. I asked him to check the camera to see I was just here 2 days ago and to see her working on my glasses. Feeling disappointed in the management . I wish I would have got there before the manager I talked to on the phone left for the day… he seemed more sympathetic in coming up with a solution.

I love the Taylor location. I just got home from picking out glasses and Kerri assisted me. She was WONDERFUL! She was helpful and honest when asking her opinion and it was fun chatting with her. Such a genuine employee.

I am so disappointed! I wrote a google review this morning and it is gone. I am going to write it again! First I want to say that the employees are great! This is not their fault. I am upset with the insane Covid restrictions at Optimeyes. I understand they want you to wear a mask, I have no problem with that. There were four of us there for appointments. I was finished with my appointment and I was waiting for my husband and daughter to finish theirs. While I was waiting, I was walking around fully masked to look at glasses. I was not near anyone during this time. I was approached by an employee and was told that I could not browse! I think that is completely ridiculous! They want you to purchase their expensive glasses but they only bring you what they want to sell. They fully expect people to spend a few hundred dollars or more on glasses that you will wear for the next year or so but, they will not let you browse at the selection. By the way, I was not touching any of the frames on the wall. I would have no problem walking around with an employee and pointing out what I like and having them grab it from the shelf. Due to this, they lost the business of 4 people who would have purchased glasses. I will not sit there and have an employee just bring me frames that they like. Again, this is not the employees fault! The employees were wonderful! After our appointment we asked for our prescriptions and are taking them elsewhere to a place that will let me browse and choose what I want. I will now look for a different eye doctor for my families exams and will not return there.

This was the BEST eyeglass purchase experience Ive ever had! First, I was greeted by a friendly receptionist, who then made sure I went to the correct service area. I needed to pick out new frames, and I thought it would take a long time of me walking around and looking at hundreds of frames. In actuality, it was like a personal shopper experience with a very knowledgeable professional, Jeremiah Korgal. I had a few older frames to show him, and I was hoping to possibly find something similar. He came back with 4 styles for me to try. He said he would keep bringing styles as long as it took for me to find THE one! He definitely had a good idea of what I wanted because it turned out that one of the first 4 was PERFECT! I also wanted to make sure the frames were the proper fit, as my most recent pair from another provider ended up being too big, uncomfortable, and I could not see out of them consistently as they kept sliding down. Jeremiah took the time to explain all the ways that they measure to make sure the frames will fit correctly, especially since I was getting no-line progressive lenses. I felt very good about ordering the new glasses, and I got the call that they were ready to be picked up in just one week! Picking them up was a breeze, and the young lady taking care of me and checking my vision with the glasses was also very professional and friendly (Im so sorry I forgot her name)! So here it is several weeks later, and I LOVE MY GLASSES from Optim-Eyes in Taylor! They hit all the marks for professionalism, experience, knowledge, friendliness, and customer service! Im so glad I found them!

My exam was thorough and they explained everything to me, they sent me to a specialist for my problem. Than I just went in for my follow up and ordered my glasses, Jerimiah was awesome, he must have went through about 20 or more pairs of glasses with me. But we found the right pair, he was patient with all the trying on and helped me find the right pair for me. AWESOME!

I am very disappointed in Henry Ford Optimeyes. First, I want to say that their employees are fantastic including the doctors. This has nothing to do with their employees. My issue is their Covid policies. I understand that things are different right now but, they lost 4 sales of eyeglasses due to their policies. We went and got our eye exams. While I was waiting for my husband and daughter to get their eye exams completed, I was walking around just looking at eye glasses. I did not touch anything, I had my mask on too. I was approached by an employee and was told that I could not walk around and browse. I cannot believe that they expect people to spend a few hundred dollars on glasses that they will wear on their face everyday for at least a year and do not let them look at everything they have to offer. That is ridiculous! As I said, I had my mask over my mouth and nose, I was not touching any of the glasses or taking them down off the rack, and I was not near anyone. They expect to have their employees to choose frames for someone and steer them towards certain frames that they want to sell. I want to look at everything and I do not mind not being able to touch them myself. They should allow you to walk around and point out frames that you like and have the employee take them down for you. Due to this ridiculous policy, they lost 4 sales of glasses and frames. I am going to think long and hard about continuing to get my exams done there. I think they have now lost 4 customers and I will now go elsewhere. I want to say again that their employees are fantastic and it is not their fault that they have to follow these ridiculous policies!

I had a really good experience here. From the beginning to end, everyone was friendly, and I felt safe. There werent too many people in the building at once.The optometrist was very knowledgeable, answered all my questions, and was very personable. Julie, the optician was amazing. She took the time to walk through different pairs of glasses with me and answered all my questions. She gave me honest opinions on each pair of glasses. Even a colleague came over to help me decide the best pair of glasses.Overall, I had a great experience. I would definitely recommend this location.

Everyone was really nice. Jeremiah was awesome. He took as much time with my early teen daughter as needed. He listened to her likes and recommended frames based on that and her face shape. Got an eye test back in June, Ive never seen a doctor or Ive never wore glasses before, with no experience from my part I just went in for an eye test and to get glasses but, Ive never seen a doctor to check my eyes and make sure there is nothing else wrong. Here I was not even asked if I had diabetes or if which doctor sent me there, they just were making a sale, now that I try to see a doctor because, Im having some issues with my eyes and I did it backwards my insurance would not cover it until next year in June. Thank you! ( sarcasm)

Not only was I able to get a Sunday appointment but had stellar service as well. Once I was done with my exam, I was assigned to Sundra Peay to help me choose my frames and wow did she nail it! I love love love the frames we chose and appreciated her honest feedback each time I tried a pair on.To add to this amazing experience, she even went above and beyond after I left and found me a discount that I didnt know existed. They called me at home, refunded my charges and charged me a MUCH lower amount! WOW is all I can say! This type of customer service is unheard of in this day and age. Thank you Sundra!

I was nervous about getting my eyes looked at before returning to streaming. The environment here is beyond friendly and very welcoming.I worked with Sundra to make sure I got the right kind of glasses and not only did she take her time making sure I got the best plan to protect my eyes but she made the entire process a lot easier for me.She took time to get know me as a person and streamer to help understand what I needed to protect my eyes.I was afraid when I walked in and was satisfied with not only the level of respect from her but the courtesy of their staff.

Wish I could give 0 stars. Came here a few times in the past had no issues, just arrived to my appointment to find out it was cancelled (even though I had confirmed the appointment twice) because I didn’t have insurance. Mind you when I made my online appointment I checkmarked I did not have insurance and that I would be a cash paying patient. I arrive at the front desk and they want to play it off and pretend like I’m still on the schedule, I overheard the lady say “I have a 9:15” mind you a whole HOUR past my original scheduled appointment time when I purposely made this appointment early because I had work. Taking my money and business elsewhere to an office that doesn’t treat you like garbage for not having insurance.

Over the past few months, I have been to the Taylor location twice. Once for my 7 year old daughter, and then once for me. Both times were great experiences. We both had eye exams while we were there, and the doctors were great.What really made the experiences 5 stars though, was the interaction and care we received from Jeremiah, your lead technician. This was my daughter’s first time getting glasses, and Jeremiah was so friendly, helpful, and patient with her! He truly wanted to make sure she fell in love with her first pair of glasses! He took the time to talk to her and ask her about her favorite colors, whether she likes sparkle, etc. so he could select frames for her to try!A couple months later...I came in for my exam and needed to purchase new frames. To my delight, Jeremiah was my technician too! He again went above and beyond, taking his time, talking to me and helping me select the perfect new frames! He even remembered me and my daughter! Thanks for a great couple of experiences!

Great experience! I received new lenses for my old frames a few weeks back. Really liked my frames, then broke the temple piece. Have been coming here for the past 12 years. I have two kids in glasses one is a -15 I have spent a lot time at this place and I wear glasses myself. But I was treated very disrespectfully today by manager Ian due to another managers mistake. He took it all out on the customer. 😢 Very rude and disrespectful individual! He is not about trying to meet the customers needs this is not a priority of his. I will have to take my business elsewhere this was an unforgettable experience for me. I am hoping someone can talk to this manager Ian and teach him how to correctly treat customers. So other people don’t get treated the way I did!
