The young Doctor was great. I’m saddened that I don’t remember his name. He is the best eye doctor that I’ve had in my life as far back as I can remember. He took his time and explained everything and made the test go so smoothly. You all are blessed to have employed him so early in his career. I also enjoyed being welcomed & helped by Wendy. Even the two Lady’s helping with my glasses was helpful. I’m glad I chose that particular Lens Crafters.

This place is currently under construction but I would still recommend coming here. Staff and doctors are all awesome! Dr. Rashad took time to answer my questions and was very thorough. I really appreciated it and will continue to come here for my eye care B)

Service exam and doctor was excellent but the fact as a company you can longer get glasses on the spot ... its sucks ... but thats the way of America service takes a hit in order to save money. Sad just sad

I always hate going to the eye doctor because that is one test I know I am going to fail. At LensCrafters they were very welcoming and even encouraging. I never felt like I was failing the eye exam and Dr. Brown didnt make me feel old. She explained my eyes were doing exactly what they were supposed to for some one my eye. I walked out with a positive feeling.I wish I could make them my primary health care doctor. They are fantastic with kids too!My daughter just loves Dr. Brown.I have absolute horror stories from Americas Best. I am talking boarder line abuse what they put my daughter through. LensCrafters was able to make her feel comfortable with the exam and she actually enjoys going as do I now.

The staff here is very nice and accomodating. Ive tried other locations but, I like this one the best. I wasnt happy with the frame I purchased. There was no problem at all picking out another one.

Everyone that I had contact with was exceptional. T who performed all the pre-tests was very friendly and quick. Dr. Brown was very knowledgeable, took time to explain everything, and did not rush through the appointment. She was willing to let me try two different kinds of bifocal contacts to see which I liked better. The guy that finished the sale at the end was very professional. He was willing to give me all the options but did not pressure me at all. I was in and out in less than an hour and was very well taken care of. Thank you!!!

This is the best eye exam experience I’ve had to date. The doctors were both very polite, thorough and answered my questions. I encountered Dr. Jasmine Mahal and I believe Dr. Rashad?, very nice people. The staff also was kind and courteous. I went for a contact lens appointment. Shout out to my man Sean for giving me 1 on 1 instructions about using contacts for the first time. I would highly recommend you guys to go to this clinic. For the record i am not a paid reviewer and this is my 100% genuine review.

From the moment I walked in everyone was so nice and very helpful. The doctor was very thorough and answered all my questions. I wasnt rushed or pressured. Will definitely be going back there for all my eyeglass needs in the future.

This location is conveniently close, clean and well organized. Each staff member i was in communication with seemed friendly, attentative and knowledgeable. Ive looked for a place to regularly have my eye exams done and as long as this place and Doctor Rashad Haddad is available I will be scheduling my yearly appointments here.

Went to pick up my son’s glasses around 6:15pm on a Friday and it was closed. Their hours on google say open until 8pm. Not happy 😕

Dr. Brown is really nice and so is Sherrie. They both made me feel comfortable with my purchase and didnt rush things.This is my first day trying out my new glasses and what a difference the new prescription makes. The frames were adjusted to my face nicely.

After a recent snow storm my old glasses snapped in the cold. Set up an appointment at Lens Crafters for 4:00pm. Got a new prescription and the glasses were made and ready for pick up by 5:00. Was able to get to dog class at 6:00. Really saved me a lot of worry and hassle.

Should have followed my first mind. When I walked in there was a person on the phone arguing about how the credit card machine was down, and there were problems going wrong at the register, I ignored it and carried on as usual. Big mistake. Had to be double charged just to get my prescription, like I was attempting to steal something.I informed the manager Cindy C. that the charge was already billed to my account but she informed me I would need to pay again or I wouldnt be able to receive a receipt or prescription information because it wasnt in on their system. She informed me the other charge would fall off within 24-48 hours because it was a hold, she would not listen to anything else and was adamant about me waiting 48 hours for it to fall off, or pay again.I obliged and paid a second time resulting in two charges for the same exam. After calling my bank I was informed that it was not a hold and that I would have to receive a refund from the store directly as there was nothing they could do on their end since the money was pulled from my account.I am now unable to get anyone to resolve my issue, and have been attempting to receive any information on a resolution date or attempt at resolution since.

Dont bother calling with any detail questions because they just dont want to be bothered answering questions on the phone. Its more like come in, give them money, shut up, and wait till youre called.I just had such a disposable experience with whoever I had on the phone, she wouldnt give me her name, that I will most likely stop using LensCrafters for the rest of my life.If your goal was to lose a customer, congratulations you succeeded 100%.

Great staff all over!

Included in your eye exam is an eye mapping machine that is quite accurate and seems to do a better job than just the old-fashioned way of getting your prescription. The doctor fine tunes your prescription after the eye mapping. Not a huge selection of glasses but adequate. Everyone working there was very friendly and quite helpful.

Went to this location because I lost my glasses the day prior. They were able to schedule me in immediately and get me set up with a Rx pair of glasses the same day. The staff was super friendly, helpful and extremely patient. I had such a great experience my wife decided she would get an exam and glasses. She ended up getting a pair Rx sunglasses (first time ever) and another pair of Rx glasses. she was able to receive both pairs before they closed. Big thanks to all involved with our experience!

There needs to be a better selection of Z87.1 OSHA approved glasses. My only complaint.

Needed glasses and they totally met all my needs. Every employee I came in contact with was knowledgeable and friendly. Go there, you will not be disappointed.

How is this the only place that doesnt take my vision plan? To me thats suspicious, especially when I have a really good plan, or so I thought. Not everyone has hundreds to spend on glasses.

Very friendly and knowledgeable service. Optometrist did an excellent job examining my eyes and writing a CORRECT prescription. Lenses were delivered earlier than promised and fitting was done in a complete and professional manner. Insurance was out of network but LensCrafters still provided significant savings. What more could you ask for? See you next year!

Very professional staff, fast and friendly service, with state of the art technology. I was extremely impressed with the multi-focal contact lenses I received and the quality of my exam. I was able to use my AAA discount and a store coupon to offset the problem of not having optical insurance, so the cost was very affordable. I can see GREAT now, and I dont need reading glasses!

This location has placed the order for my glasses incorrectly two times. Once was the wrong prescription and the other time they forgot to include anti-reflective. The only reason I am giving 2 stars is for the good doctors here. If you get a prescription from here, please save yourself from the troubles of going in multiple times for paying and correcting the mistakes they make when placing the order. Its best to get your script and order glasses from another retailer.

They were super nice and helped me find a great pair of glasses. The eye doctor was really nice explained everything going on with my eyes and got me the prescription I needed. I believe Cindy is the lady that helped me and she was really nice and showed me some really nice frames that I probably wouldnt have looked at if it wasnt for her pointing them out. I have never been excited about wearing glasses or seeing an eye doctor, but I would have to say this is the first time Ive been excited to get and wear my new glasses! Thank you for Lens Crafters and I cant wait to pick up my glasses next week!

Been coming here since I was a child. I was told they dont accept my insurance, upsets me. I thought ford motor company had the best insurance. That cannot be true if my favorite place doesnt accept the insurance I have thru my employer!

I used to come here often, but I had an issue with their doctor. I got my exam they gave me a prescription but when I got my glasses they immediately and intensely caused headaches and dizzyness. Just really painful. Due in part to my high script and stigmatism. I came back to get help. They said no. The Dr says he keeps getting the same numbers and to just deal with it. I had to go waste time and money to get another exam at Southland eye clinic. Where they actually listened to me, made a slight adjustment and I was good to go. Glasses didnt hurt me anymore and I could see. I dont know why these people couldnt of done that. Im assuming it was an ego thing. All I know is I will not be coming back here and Ill be ordering my glasses online elsewhere from now on (much cheaper). I wouldnt recommend the potential hassle of this place. Its hit it or miss. Went there today and spent a ridiculous amount of money for 1 pair of glasses, just because u get them the same day or roughly an hour...I was told 2-3 hours which was fine..thus was at around 1 oclock...well its 8 oclock and they are closed and didnt hear squat...very disappointed...could have spent 1 fifth the money at Americas best and got 2 pair with the same quality...lesson learned

Best Eye Dr. In Town!

They don’t accept Medicaid at all. I have never felt discriminated against until going here with state health ins. Every other vision place in a 5 mile radius including the Henry Ford eye center across the street ((nicer newer office with a larger selection than LC and better staff)) around this place takes Medicaid or bare minimum they are willing to bill medicaid for a portion then you pay the rest. Not here! If you don’t have private health ins don’t go here. You will be treated as second class and looked down upon when you walk in and treat you with disrespect until you leave. I used to go here, bought my last 3 pairs of glasses from here but that was with private ins, never again after being treated like that. Go to Henry Ford. Places like this need to close. Forever.

Horrible service. Nobody knows what they’re doing. Decided to switch to LensCrafters instead of seeing my regular eye doctor of 15 years. Worst mistake I ever made. Never go here.

My husband and I came into the Southland Mall location and had the unfortunate experience to work with Tracy an “Eyewear Consultant.” We were not only profiled thinking we can’t afford Oakleys sunglasses, along with her just randomly walking away from us when asking questions which in turn showed us she clearly had no previous experience and knew nothing about the product she was selling. Overall an absolutely horrible experience and would not recommend anyone to spending their hard earned money here. They’re unable to order anything in a different color frame if they don’t have it on the shelf which is a joke if I’m spending over $1500 on glasses. Not to mention our consultant slurring her speech and dropping glasses and my husbands phone on the ground without even apologizing. We both come from very diverse background and by no means judge anyone until they give us a reason to.

I wish I could give this place a -5. They talked me into trying a new contact lens. I ordered 4 boxes from them. The new contacts bother my eyes so I tried to order my normal brand thur 1800contacts. Lens crafter told me I would have to pay for a new exam. My exam with them is 3 months old. I would never go back to them. EVER!!!

Just picked up my reader glasses. WOW, Ill never go back to the ones at the dollar store. Thank You Lenscrafters !!!!!!!
