Just had a very clean install of a flip down monitor so the kids can watch movies in the back seat while on road trips and they also put on a remote start/alarm on the truck (definitely a must have in AZ!) We will be back in the future with any stereo needs

Extremely dishonest. Went to them to install a remote start. I was under the impression the new keys would work to start my car. The product does not work on my car since it is push to start and they decided to tell me this information after I paid for the installation. Claiming “ you brought the product to us, you should’ve known it doesn’t work”.No sense of integrity to tell me the product will not work the way it’s supposed to in my specific car model.

I havent yet had them install anything, but I did talk to them about what I wanted (PA System for my truck). They took the time to show me several options and they offered their advice. Great people, Ill be using them and will post another review when the installation is done.

The People that work here are genuinely nice and are very knowledgeable. The operations manager Jason Trottier is very humble and honest. They do good work very professional at times. These guys Go out of their way to make sure you’re satisfied before leaving. Ask as many questions as you need to and they will answer them because there’s no dumb question.

One of the back speakers of my sedan blew out, so I came here. I called and visited to get a quote, then scheduled the actual appointment about two weeks later. I told the guy the cheapest option, same as I had said on the phone. The repair was relatively quick (about an hour) and the staff was nice, but what bothered me is that the price they gave me in person was about $40 more expensive than what I was told over the phone and in person 2 weeks prior. I mentioned this and it was fixed. Based on that experience, dont trust these guys prices. They will overcharge if they can. Treat them like a scammy car dealership because thats clearly what they want to be. Its actually funny and now fitting that my dealership actually recommended them to me. Im just waiting for something to go wrong with my sound system suddenly, because I now dont trust these guys for more than just the price.

Ok, these guys know there stuff! Not only did they do a great job on the install of what I bought, but they listened to what I needed and wanted and did not try to up sell me at all. They finished ahead of the scheduled time and I was able to get my ride back even sooner. They took the time to go over everything and show me how to operate everything. I will be a customer for life. Highly recommended and will not go anywhere else for my needs.

I have had multiple vehicles in to Kartunes for both audio updates and dash cams. Their professional service is top notch along with the impeccable install that they did. The custom install including custom box work for subs was very impressive. James was our rep and not only did he keep us apprised of the progress but also did a mobile install for our dash cam. Got a car stereo upgrade on my new 20 camry (amp, speakers and sub woofer). Cost quote (by tech Ulisses Bahena) was reasonable, accurate and done as promised on time (very clean install). The system rocks! I am very pleased with my purchase and will trust them with all my car/truck upgrades. Kartunes is the best!

Took our shattered screen to them initially the guy gave us a quote and said if it cost more well let you know. We go in they have the stereo ready to install the technician installs we go to check out and it costs more then what the price was initially so we tell the girl up front and she says well just eat that money okay miss attitude dont quote me and then try to charge me more you guys told me a set price thats what I expect. We well not be returning we dont like feeling low. We also dont like being lied too!! Take your attitude somewhere else. Also doing business at 1st was sketchy they dont give you no paper when you leave they just send you on your way hoping you get the correct part back that belongs to you.

I got a remote starter for my Tundra back in June. James was very professional and new what he was doing. After a couple days the remote stopped working. I called James and he walked me through some steps to fix it. That didnt work. We were leaving in a couple days and I was worried that we wouldnt get the remote fixed. James was able to come out the day before we left and fixed it. Since then Kartunes has always been there when we had questions. I do plan on using them in the near future for some tint and maybe the dash cam.

A new experience for me.

I hear about Kartunes from the internet and wanted to give them a try. I dropped by yesterday just to see if they could fix my auxiliary port in my car. It has had a short in it for a long time and quit working. I stopped in yesterday and they said they could fix it. I didnt expect them to fix it that day! The guy pulled it in the garage fixed it and had me back on the road within 20 minutes. It was amazing! Not only do they have great service, but also great pieces! My dealership was going to charge me $300+ to fix it and Kartunes did it for $80. You cant beat that!

The absolute best car audio shop I have ever seen. Jeff is truly an expert in all facets of car audio and security. They treat you more than fairly on price. If you want your car audio done right, this is the place. Beware of the $1 install at other places. Kar tunes has the correct equipment the corret staff, and their installs are right and tight. The reason Jeff has been in business for 30 plus years, is simply quality. I cannot say enough about this place. 5 star experience.

I have been doing business with these guys for over 15 years. Kartunes is very fair on pricing and they have always been honest, available and the service, staff and facility is as professional as it gets. If ever myself or friends I have referred have ever had any issues or problems they have immediately set time aside to make the situation right. In my early 20s Jeff had worked on show truck I had that had won many awards for both custom stereo as well as best in show for looks. now that I am older I simply have an remote start alarm system, some nice speakers and a nice Kenwood deck that I am extremely happy with.These guys are experts and know their stuff from very basic to very elaborate. I would not go anywhere else or refer my friends and family to anyone else.

Very pleased with my trip here. they saved me from being robbed and overcharged by Audio Express. These guys are helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. I got more bang from my dollar here than the quote I got from that other place. Getting them to do my audio system and accessory installs is literally the first thing that I do after getting a new vehicle.These guys stand by their work and dont quit until you get the sound that YOU want.Trust me, NO stock system is as good as what the aftermarket can do for your mobile audio (Im talking to you Burmester, etc etc). Was looking to purchase subs elsewere and have them installed here but the owner decided that they do dont do that anymore also not much of a variety of subs here only JL audio subs. Customer service was ok.

Excellent service, straightforward and no bs. Wanted a couple of 6x9s fit my front doors in my Prius, there are only a few speakers that fit that application. 2 other places (national chain stores) did not have anything that fit and told me to put a different size in, one was downright rude about it. These guys knew exactly what fit and had it in stock. Yet again proving that independent shops are better than national chain stores.

I had an interlock device installed at another Smart Start Center in Gilbert. I noticed a problem right after I got it installed with starting my car. I went back to the installer and they refused to look at the problem.I called KarTunes in Tempe for a second opinion and spoke with Jason. He asked me to bring my car in to see if something was not done properly. When I dropped by today he had a technician look at the problem and was able to figure out why I was having trouble starting my car and we diagnosed the problem with out charging me. I received outstanding customer service and am going to take my car over to KarTunes to get my monthly interlock calibration. I am glad I decided to call KarTunes for a second opinion!Thank you KarTunes!

If it was possible to give 0 stars I would. A year ago I was up sold on an after market xm radio. I paid $500 for it. Since then it has now gone out 3 times. The last time they replaced it their tech broke all the plastic pieces to my dash board and center console. I had to have Toyota fix it. Their customer service is horrible. When their tech broke my plastics they wouldnt come to my work to replace or fix it since they said it wasnt their product. All they keep telling me it was under warranty so I dont have to worry about it. Well thats fine now but what happens when my warranty expires? I have to pay out of pocket again every 4 months to have my radio fixed? I have to pay for the dealership parts out of pocket to replace plastic your company broke? I had a $100 xm radio in my last car from audio express and worked perfectly fine for 5 years. Not one issue. Save your money and go to audio express, cheaper, faster, and better quality as far as Im concerned. Plus better customer experience since audio express stops what they are doing to at least acknowledge your there. I stood in the office at Kar Tunes for over 20 minutes and had workers even look me in the eye and never come in to service me. I had to walk out into their garage to have someone finally help me. Absolutely ridiculous!!!!
