Emily did my hair and all I can say is wow! She was totally amazing. Not only do I love my hair but she was the coolest person to talk to . So professional and kind. Walked me step by step on how to style my hair ! I had the best experience ever there I will totally return and refer my friends to her!

Stylist showed clear signs of discrimination and blamed it on carpal tunnel. Complaining about the texture of a clients hair is uncalled for and she should have found another stylist. Avoid if African American they do not want your business

Got the perfect pixie cut that i wanted! Made my appointment a few days ahead of time to make sure I could get in on a Friday afternoon. I took pictures of what I wanted, and got exactly that cut!I used to go where it cost me $100+ to get my hair cut, and this woman did a much better job.My only regret is not remembering her name. However, shes approximately 51, has a nice short haircut, and colors her bangs for the sports team currently playing (they were blue when I went in for the Bolts, and she was talking about going red for the Bucs). I think her name is Christine, but i genuinely cant remember.I have also had Jackie trim my hair, and she is great, as well!

What is the point in making an appointment when you will still take walk ins before them? had to wait over an hour when i made appointment, they took three people before me who didn’t even make appointment. the haircut was not good. never requesting service here again

All I can say is Latawa saved the day since I booked online for a different stylist for me and my child hair and when we show up she informs me she moved me to a different stylist. Was very unprofessional and lack of communication. She should have called me ahead to ask of it was ok and then for the manager to be standing there the whole time while im voicing my opinion she does or says nothing. Thank you Latawa for taking care of me and my child. And all 4 stars are for Latawa because she was helpful and professional

Nothing Fantastic about it.Went to get a cut and some highlights and was told nobody had time when there were 4 stylist just standing around. You dont tell a paying customer you dont have time for them!

Very fast and they do a great job. I get a buzz cut and shampoo when I go for just $10.00. Damn good bargain.

Wife went here to get a simple trim and was completely ignored. Ashley went ahead and gave her an inverted stacked bob, even though she was told multiple times that my Wife didnt want layers and only wanted a little taken off from the bottom. It wouldnt even be as bad if the cut wasnt jagged and choppy the way it is. So many missed strands and hair at the top is cut winhin a few inches of her scalp. Now my wife has to go to another stylist tomorrow and miss a day of work to have her hair fixed.

Absolutely horrible. I went to just get a trim and ruined my hair. It looked choppy no layers matched it was horrible. I went back for the lady to fix it and she only made it worse while being rude basically saying I should’ve explained stuff better. I wish I could post pictures. There’s no excuses instead I went to Paris the new look right off of 56th street and they turned my bad hair into perfection.

The stylists were fast, friendly, efficient. Asked, clarified, and went above and beyond to make sure it was understood what was to be done and how. Sons are 12 & 10 do figuring out what exactly they were needing can be a challenge to say the least, ha! They even went above and beyond with my 3 yo daughter by pretending to cut her hair (she barely has any, just touching her shoulders after 3 years of growing it). Shes so excited to get another hair cut thanks to that experience, awesome! Great place decent price, will definitely be back as a repeat customer/s.

In the aftermath of a truly devastating chop job I received from a local barbershop (FYI NEVER go to a barber shop for a style, even if they say they “cut women’s hair” and “can cut curly hair” and “know how to cut a swing bob” because you’ll end up spending more to fix it the decimation into something salvageable than if you hurt go to a salon in the first place..... yeah, totally my mistake and lesson learned), I believe her name was Eliana—SAVED ME. I called BAWLING (because it was Sunday afternoon, getting late, and nobody else was open even though their google hours said they were!!!!) told me to come in and she’d see what she could do. I had just wanted a swing bob originally, but ended up with an asymmetric pixie.If I have to have a short ‘do, this is the one I’d go for. So it’ll just take a little getting used to, as opposed to wearing hats and scarves in shame and self pity 🙈Thank you Eliana! 💙💙💙

I was very happy with my first cut by Jericho. So I went back. I thought she understood I wanted to keep the length. Nope! I now have very short hair after my second cut with Jericho. Totally disappointed that I wasnt respected.

I have a favorite stylist that I use, Jericho. She listens to what you want and does it. Easy to converse with making the time fly. Very professional though and gets you in and out pretty quickly.

I came in today for the first time for my hair (my boyfriend gets his haircut here) after getting a horrible haircut somewhere else and Mia and Melinda fixed me up. I will definitely be returning for a cut and color next month. Great job ladies! I’m so pleased.

I came in last Friday night with what they called a Fixer upper. They were great!! Absolutely love my new hairdo!!! They took excellent care of me!! Thanks so much girls. I found my new spot.Fast forward 8 months. Went in today not knowing what I was going to get and Jericho did an EXCELLENT JOB ON MY NEW COLOR. THANS SO MUCH!! I LOVE IT.

Awesome experience every time. Always call ahead and make an appointment otherwise you will wait. This store has a lot of consistent clientele who book ahead. Debra not only cuts and styles my hair but offers a long term plan to develop the overall quality of your hair. Highly recommend her. Make an appointment.

I have been a Fantastic Sams customer for quite some time now. My hairs grows fast so I need to get my cuts more frequently and the prices are great. I have found that if I sit and watch the stylists work, I can pretty much tell who I want to cut my hair. Also I look for a stylist that cares about her presentation (her hair, her makeup, etc). Right now, I am very pleased with Debra, who does a great job for me every time!

Love this location! Great atmosphere, hairstylists, service & pricing. Deborah is a phenomenal hairstylist and the Manager of the salon. Ive been getting my haircuts and color as well. Visit this location and you will definitely be happy you did.

My beautician is Debra. I love the way she cuts & styles my hair. She does exactly what you ask her to. I have paid 3 times more in Temple Terrace and not received the quality of style and cut she does! Love this place. Call ahead for appointment if you dont want to wait!!

The staff doesnt listen very well. I asked for a shampoo and a haircut. what a got was a bottle spritz and a haircut. I was still charged the same rate as with of 17.95. I could have said something. Instead, Ill just find a better hair salon. Somewhere where they liste.

My review of 1 star is mainly to let everyone know to NOT FILL OUT THE SURVEY that the salon emails you after a visit. My best friend called me, recently, in tears. It seems she was dissatisfied with her most recent salon service and gave a voice to this in the follow up survey. A few days later she received a phone call from the ACTUAL STYLIST she filled out the survey on. She was surprised and very upset to learn that her survey was RELEASED, IN ITS ENTIRETY, to the salon. What kind of company does this? Why waste your valuable time to fill out the survey and then have it turned back on you? A call from someone in the company who was higher up in management, outside of the salon, I could understand but not this.Something else that I noticed by reading a few of the reviews listed below is that they only reply to positive ones and totally ignore the bad ones. That should give you food for thought for this companys policies and procedures.

Open sign was on and the door was unlocked, I walked in and was told they were closed. I told them their sign says they are open and your door is unlocked. The lady told me they close at 8 so I took out my phone and it was 7:53 not 8. Thats fine if they dont want my business. I wouldnt want this butcher shop to cut my hair anyway with that kind of attitude. I wouldnt take my dog there to get its hair cut. Dont go here. They dont want your business either.

Omg!!! This place is the best hair salon probably in the entire world. ASK FOR MS. KIM! The ladies there are so nice and caring and very helpful! If you want something you get what you ask for, even with suggestions and advice (if if might not look right). My mom and I had our first mommy/daughter day and I was so happy my first experience in getting my hair professionally done was amazing! A 6 out of 5 starrs if I could rate it that high I would. Ms. Kim is so nice and the best! Shes so kind and gives you her honest professional opinion and I would recommend her anytime and everytime you need a simple haircut or something more extravagant:)

I was mistreated and given incorrect information at this location. I came in store at 7:40 pm, closing time was 8 pm and there was a huge open sign visible.A Caucasian woman with black hair literally gasped in terror at my natural curly hair and told me they could not service me because there were only two of them and they had two people to cut.They refused to give me corporate’s info. I cross checked with another fantastic sams who said as long as you come before closing they have to take you.I was literally coming in for only trim and now having to drive 20 plus minutes out. I believe that they did not want to service me because o was black and have curly hair that they may have prejudged as unmanageable which isn’t the case. I have 3b/3c soft curly hair.I’m so disappointed.

I went to the shop. The lady asked me if I had an appointment and she had an attitude. I was not encouraged to make an appointment or to return. I have three daughters and we go to the beauty shop weekly. Usually $300.00 a month. But not this shop

I waited 20 minutes, which is ok. I dont mind waiting, but when Im finally seen, the woman whos going to cut my hair, doesnt listen to what Im saying. She can only see a picture and cut the hair via the picture. Nothing I explained to her makes any sense to her. A stylus should be able to understand how to fade hair with or without a picture. I dont know if she was just very inexperienced or obstinate but after trying to explain a few more times, I was discouraged and told her that I needed to go somewhere else. None of the other stylists stepped up to say hey let me do it. I would not recommend this particular Fantastic Sams to anyone unless you have the exact picture of the hairstyle that you want.

Worst hair cut I’ve ever received. He did more time combing my hair than trimming it. Paid for a deep conditioning that washed out the very next shampoo. Charged me for “long layers” when that was the entire hair cut to begin with.... Super disappointed, damn sure won’t be back!

This place is friendly and deserve nothing less than 5 stars. Especially the hairdresser there by the name of Tina. Almost 30yrs experience and still going strong. She has cut my hair for years and always gets it right.

My experience started off ok, I set an appointment with a woman and she got me in on time. I started to get my hair braided and she was nice a respectful. I felt as if she pulled a lil to mich and the braids were tighter than my liking but it was ok. I notice a piece of hair sticking but I paid no mind to it cause I thought she would fix it... but no she tried to gel it down thinking I wouldn’t notice. I get in the car it was very noticable and I walk back in to tell her and she try’s to fix it while I’m standing at the front door. I had no time to fix it and she would not refund me my money which was 20 dollars so I leave. I come back maybe a month later in the morning to maybe see if I can try her out again but before asking, I asked to use the restroom and they rudely told me I couldn’t use it that it’s for paying customers(which I am or was). I use it any way and lady it starring me down and making me feel very uncomfortable which made me not wanna get anything done and write this review. They argue with me so I argue back. Long story short if they would of treated me a lil better I would of done business with them. I’m sure there’s good talent in that shop, but I feel as if I was mistreated.

Waited over an hour for a childs haircut. Saw two separate stylists favor two clients without appointment and were seen first. Was not happy with the haircut, uneven, jagged cuts, and too much cut after explaining what I wanted. Was also charged for extra services that were not provided. Would not recommend.

I called ahead and made an appointment. When I showed up, I was told one person was ahead of me, yet they kept pulling other people in front of me. I waited a long time and my appointment time was not respected. The stylists were slow and I was not satisfied with my time at this salon. I will not return.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVERI walked in to get a simple haircut, one of the stylists signed me in and I waited 50 minutes for 5 people to go before me. I finally said something about it and they asked me for my name and all the stylists seemed confused. While this is went on, they let some man go before me once again. I left quite angry. I am NEVER going back there again and I advise others not to either.

But this guy not only didnt give me what i wanted he butchered the bqck of my hair. I didnt say anything because i had my young son and i dont like confrontation and even though he screwed my hair i didnt want him getting in trouble ..not for christmas.. Now i have ti pay someone else at another location (a real womens salon) to fixed what he butchered. Im sorry fantastic sams on 56th street tempke terrace Fl..
