Very helpful and polite manager over at the GameStop here in Temple. She definitely saved me and told me exactly what I needed to get for my grandson.

Staff is personable and knowledgeable, store was clean and not overly loud. Im glad this store is in my neighborhood!

Went in today to return what I thought was defective merchandise and the women working immediately took care of me. Was very patient and listened to my concerns. Customer service was amazing I will definitely be returning here for all my gaming needs!!

Beware of xbox game pass, every time i end my subscription i have to completely start over on games that i own on CD. Xbox will no respond to your request for help.

They have good deals most of the time on older games. New things are still pricey. I still enjoy coming here if i need something quick and i like their warranty.

Good staff who will chat you up about newest games or what ever nerdy stuff you bring up. Clearence section usually has something interesting at a good price.

Greg who is suppose to be the manager was extremely rude to me. I have a teenage son and we spend a good bit of money on games and systems. So Greg did a great job at losing our business and I plan to call corporate as well.

Good customer service

Went there yesterday to purchase a video game. I had great help from a staff member trying to decide on the next game purchase. I go to checkout and the gentleman was enthusiastic about my choice but, unfortunately, forgot to put the disc in the case. Ill be heading back when they open to (hopefully) resolve the issue.

Had the worst service ever here! Was told to go back at the end of the line after I was told to move over to a line that was only taking cash. I was paying with cash. I would of walked out if it wasnt for my kids spending the time to look for the things that bring us to Game Stop.

When I lived in Temple and Belton, this was the place to go for movies, my PSP and all my Need For Speed games. Oh, how I miss the good old days.

The employees there are amazing!! They have always gone above and beyond to help me out. Melissa, the manager there, has always been courteous and professional towards me AND my children, and has done everything in her power to get me and my son what we were looking for. I dont even bother going to other GameStops or other video game stores simply because of the customer service I receive there and if I buy a game or product for me or my son, then I know that I will find what I need or they will get it for me, no questions asked!!

The price tag says 49.99 but at the register they charging $54.99. SMH..... Your price tag says one thing but you say thats last weeks price.... Horrible customer service!

The store is a good size and the employees are amazing. They are the reason I go to gamestop, and not order off amazon.

The only problem with GameStop will always be they try to keep selling you stuff you don’t want. You come in for one game they want you sell you a membership card a magazine subscription a warranty a preowned game. I think they need to take the hint.

I have never been to GameStop

I took a game there (transformers war for cybertron like new condition)and when I gave it to them they said they would buy it from me so I went ahead and did it and when they already bought it from me they said ok heres your money and they gave me 2.00 and I told them give me my game back and they said no I said I wanted to talk to the manager he said he was the manager and he said I will call the police if u dont leave so I took my 2.00 and I left please just sell your game on ebay or Amazon it would save you some trouble and get you more money

This location, which moved from the mall to the shopping plaza with the HEB, suffers most of the same problems as Gamestop locations around the country. I likely havent seen the same person work there twice in monthly visits, and most of the workers are forced to load you down with so much spiel about pre-ordering and shucking items that have no relation to your current purchase, that the personal customer service potential is little to none.This location specifically rarely if ever has any of the events listed by specific games, which being the only non-used game store within a 50 mile radius, is pretty terrible.Prices are barely knocked down for used or old games, most every purchase you do make will be from an already opened box in which the Gamestop employee will have to find the box, the inserts, and the game... and youre pretty S.O.L. if one happens to be missing.Feel pity for the Gamestop employees, but remember there are better options in Temple for used games (near Cicis pizza and in Temple mall) and older releases (Best Buy). If you absolutely have to have something on its release date, preorder it and show up before they give it to some kid who wandered in off the street.Alternatively, see if its on Steam. Gamestop might as well be selling tumbleweeds during the Summer and Winter Steam sales.
