I needed new tires and had a rim slightly bent so I bought 4 rims with new Michelin’s. I drive home and notice a lot of vibration so I got back check maybe the balance was out but discount tire manager didn’t see anything wrong and he mentioned there is a problem with the suspension so thought maybe something came undone or loose so I went after the mechanic (Week before that I spend over $4000 to change all shocks control arms knuckle and bearings in front and back with brand new parts and my car was driving perfect and smooth) sadly I could not figure out why my car is bouncing everywhere after I have everything replaced. I went back to discount tire 3other times and they keep mentioning there is a suspension issue.. Finally I took my car to the dealer and first thing they notice my rims was not centered because of after market rims was installed without hub rings. I went back to discount tire for the 5time for the same issue so I told them put the hub rings on and it made a big difference, since I had drive to San Antonio and Houston a few times the brand new tires was not evenly rounded anymore needed to be replaced. At this point I just wanted my old rims back on the car and a refund because of how much headache I had to deal with but they could not give me a refund instead they order me new rims which I didn’t want.( they are still sitting in my garage). After all that my car was not drive like before I bring it in discount tire even with bad tires and a bent rim.. now I have to spend even more time and money i dont have to figure out why my car is driving this way plus to sell the rims i didn’t want and I won’t still be where I was before I bring my car to discount tire. All because of employee’s lack of knowledge and training and how careless they are. I will not ever go to discount tire again for any reasons and will not advise anyone to either. They simply don’t give a dmmmm about you.

Patrick was very clutch and helpfulI came in for a flat repair and which his knowledge of tires he said the screw in my tire likely didn’t puncture the air chamber of the tire so he came back with some pliers and bottle of soapy water and sprayed the tire and lord behold no leak of air was coming out so he yanked the screw right on out 👌🏻and I went on with my day just like nothing happened thank you again Patrick

The Texas City location was great. They were fast and very courteous. The prices were fair and trust me it definitely pays to get the warranty.

Rene rocks! I ordered online, it said the soonest they could schedule was two days later. Rene called me within minutes of placing my order, notified me that they could get the tires delivered the next day and asked if I’d prefer sooner. That’s exactly what I’d been hoping for. He called me midday to confirm they’d been delivered and when I arrived he immediately rolled my car back and started helping me. I was already bragging on Discount Tire over NTB at work and today’s visit confirmed why I’ve been a loyal customer for 17 years.

I brought four new tires. First they left off the valve steam cover. Second they did not align the valve steam with the yellow dot on the tire. Brought this to the attention of the employee when I had to go back to get my tires installed correctly and his response was that how we mount tires? The salesperson was very friendly and professional when I brought the tires.

We are vacationing with our family in Galveston and I had a blowout when I hit a large piece of curb sticking out in the street at night where we are staying. I located the nearest Discount Tire to me in Texas City and went there this morning. I want to say that I have never been more pleased and thankful Discount Tire was there for me and my family. For the third or fourth time, I purchased the lifetime rotation/balance pkg. on march 6, 2021The guy called me and told me I HAD to buy new lug nuts? A first. Then, almost a week later I noticed there was ONE cap missing from one wheel. I went back up there and was told they couldnt find it and in about 5 days the new one would be in. After a SECOND trip on 3/23/21 I was told again that it would be ordered and would take no less than 2 days! Today is 3/28/2021 and still NO CAP!!!

The lads here very likely saved not only my life, but the lives of my Wives as well. Long story short, our tires were old, the weather was bad, and I figured the drifting was just that. Came in, got four Yokohama tires, but when they took the car down, they noticed the back drivers wheel was moving in a way that was not good at all. They thought it might be a hub assembly, but that didnt seem quite right. But in any case, I headed over to Oreilly, got the parts and supplies I was short at the house, limped the car home and got it into the garage to double check everything. Turns out the lateral arm was broken. I got a friend to get me back to Oreilly and get that part, put it on, got an alignment and bam, good as new. The hub was okay which was nice as it was more expensive than the lateral arm lol. They did a bang up job on the car, and they were super nice. I definitely recommend this place.Thank you guys, seriously, thank you .

Very courteous staff. I’m dealing with Brandon and he’s dealing with my rim off rotation. Obviously a challenging rotation and not the norm, but he didn’t make me feel like it was a burden (like the Firestone in Webster rudely did when I needed an oil change on my 1 ton dually). I highly recommend this Discount Tire and I will return.Also, in response to a couple of negative reviewers, I wasn’t here to observe on those days, but today the speed of service is excellent. They opened at 7:45 (15 min early) and there was 4 of us already in the parking lot. The team dispersed and had us all in the cue in minutes. It’s 8:30 now and 3 of us are already gone. One was a full set of tires, one was a full 4 Wheel balance and the other was a flat on his mother in laws car. That’s quick service! Mine, expectedly, is taking longer but they appear to be almost finished. Because of the size of my truck, they can’t even use the lift, it has to be done with jacks and stands..... old school!

Paid for a new tire sensor one guy said drive on it for 5 days and the tire light would turn off and another guy said 15 mins needless to say it’s been two weeks now and all my sensors work except for the one they replaced, it is still not working and at this point I am going to have to pay to get it fixed again I wouldn’t recommend getting tire sensors from them

Every time I come here they are always super courteous! I came this Morning for a Patch, they found some type of Metal in the tire & let me know a patch wouldnt suffice. I left my wallet at home & told them id be back to just fill it up with Air and he stated he wanted to make sure I made it. & he put the NEW tire on & told me to just put bring the Money back. Really Hard to Trust People now & days so I was very happy with the Kind Gesture!

Severely disappointed in that my TPMS sensors that cost $300 and over 2 hrs wasted went off again. Not once but twice.

Don’t believe that Very Professional Lie for this location. A Black Manager by the name of Jermaine is not professional at all. I will mention that I am a Black Manager as well. I went in to have a tire repaired. Jermaine could not find my warranty in the system. I told him that I purchased the rims, tires, and Road Hazard Warranty on those wheels and every other time I purchased wheels at Discount Tire, same phone number, email address, mailing address, still nothing appeared. With a horrible, threatening appearance Jermaine told me that there’s nothing he can do unless I could provide the receipt from 5 years ago. I was like Dude, Customer Service please???? Jermaine apparently forgot that I am the customer. He deceptively thought that I was the mail man that was doing more than delivering mail 9 months prior to the birth of his first born. Good thing Discount Tire email receipts. I was able to locate it. Boom Jermaine, Fix my tire.I figure he was having a bad day so decided not to write a bad review. I went back 3 weeks later to get my air pressure check. Here goes Jermaine with a bad attitude again. Look I really like using Discount Tire and I don’t attend to stop using them anytime soon, but I warn you if you go on Palmer Highway be aware of Jermaine especially is you’re black. For some reason Jermaine is annoyed by his own kind.

On April 1st we experienced a flat tire right outside of Galveston. Marty’s towing brought us to discount tire in Texas city . They got us right in working like a team on a nascar. My husband went in to pay “no charge for flat tire” they said. Never has this happened before. We are blessed. Thank you gentlemen. We made it home safely to Minnesota last night.

Those guys are efficient and knowledgeable. Today I had a tire repaired. It took 17 minutes from time of arrival to backing out of the bay. In observance of social distancing, they allowed me to drive onto the rack and remain inside the vehicle while they worked. Very professional and courteous folks.

Outstanding service. Great men working there. Theyll try to beat any comparable price, not by much but theyll try. Reasonably fast. Honest. For example one of the wheels in a set I ordered had a minor defect they pointed it out to me instead of hoping I never noticed it and or blaming it on me if I attempted to returned it with the defect.One big demerit is that they no longer offer water and coffee in the waiting room. Why?! No reason for this in scalding Houston summer weather.The lobby refreshments are a tax write-off. So I dont understand why the cheapos would stop offering at least bottled water in the summer.Their AC is good. Maybe thats the consolation?

My boyfriend had a flat tire after leaving work today. This Discount Tire Location is right down the road from where he works. They were able to get him in before they closed and got him back on the road in no time.

Good lobby service. Before going make sure you remove any rim center caps and/or valve caps that are custom. They WILL lose them. Lost all my chrome valve caps and a rim center cap bolt.

Fastest Discount Tire Ive ever been to with a great staff. Helped me with two nails I got within 2 weeks and it took about 30 minutes. Other places took HOURS. All around perfect
