The only thing worse than coming to this store and hoping for a pleasant or timely experience is wasting 1/2 your day at the DMV, but thats just barely worse as youll leave certain they really are state workers in disguise. Ive tried multiple times, the clerks fail to help or even acknowledge the simplicity of your request, instead putting you in the 90-120min queue of ppl waiting so you can get your 90 second question answered. Call tech support, 5min after hold time, you can resume your day and avoid this place.

Seth is wonderful! We were in the process of moving over to tmobile but they dropped the ball too many times. They ended up transferring our numbers over despite trying to cancel the transfer and assuring us this wouldnt happen. This caused a big mess where our numbers were not in verizon nor tmobile. Seth was able to help us and get us set up with new iphone 13s! This was after like 2-3 days of spending hours and hours on the phone with verizon. Thank you! I saw some of the previous reviews and you can expect any retail location in a busy area to be busy... As a former pharmacy manager there is really nothing we can do about that but try to get to people as soon as possible. The team here is great about acknowledging their customers immediately and updating customers on their place in line.

I have always had a great experience at this location. Friendly and knowledgeable employees that have a great attitude, and try hard to help you. This is in stark contrast to certain carriers, one starting with an S, that rarely have the same attitude, and are in a bad spot with their merger. Verizon, especially this location, is the best I have worked with since my first cell phone back in the early 90s. One wish is that they opened earlier. 10 am is a bit late. 8am would be nice, even 9am 10am? Im 5 hours into my day by then!Thanks Verizon!

Top 5 worst purchasing experiences in my life. I visited the store to change over from Xfility to Verizon. I was told 30 min wait. Waited 45 min and asked for ETA, was told it would be another 30ish minutes. Came back next day on lunch, same thing happend. Was told you can order online, its the fastest and easiest way. you can then come in and just pick it up within 5 min. So, left and went home and ordered. Placed order for pickup next day. Got notice it was ready, so came in. Waited 45 min - not 5 min - to pick it up. Went home to try to activate it. I am now on day 4 of trying to get my number ported over. Contacted reps via verizon app... transferred and disconnected by reps many times...every time having to start from scratch. Call in... same experience. My advice, avoid Verizon.

When I first moved to Portland area I thought this was a great place to go when you wanted to talk to someone in person. But after today, I won’t be back. Extremely rude, not helpful in anyway. Was told if I wanted to upgrade phone to go home and call customer service. This place is a was if your time.One more thing to add that if you did not know, they now charge a $40 upgrade fee per device when the store helps you out. So if you can to save some money. Do the upgrades yourself through the app.

After calling customer service they told me I would be better off going to a store for my transaction. My nearest store is not corporate so had to drive 45 mins to this store the kid helping me was rude and wanted me to call customer service I told him to call for me he did so annoyed. After about 10 mins he said they couldn’t help me. I called customer service again and guess what they were able to get me taken care of! I think that if you have a corporate store you should have a direct line of communication with customer service although I thought that is what the store was? Anyway if you want to be helped I would go to a different store!

Just had a simple question and the lady was extremely rude. I used to be a Lab Engineer and maintained testing for thousands of phones. Let me tell you stay away from Verizon and especially this location, Shawn in sales is horrible and has said things on my overcharged account have been fixed and it never is. Cameron Brooks the general manager at the time hasnt done anything either, I mean a General Manager cant help with your account being over charged. I have contacted Cameron several times and have sent him copies of emails I have to other contacts, I left AT&T after 15 years cause one of our family members worked out in the forest and Verizon had better coverage. We set up 4 new lines on Black Friday and almost half a year later no one can help us. We have spent about 15 hours on hold or chatting or talking with a rep from Verizon, let me tell you dont get Verizon cause not only does their phone line customer service suck but so do the actual employees.

I just purchased my first iPhone and Bob was a huge help. Best experience Ive had with a purchase. He was helpful, patient, answered all my questions and was not pushy. Wish there were more people like him to do business with. He couldnt have been more pleasant to work with. If youre looking to purchase anything at Verizon ask for him, hes great! Hes got a great attitude and so kind. Hey Verizon, youve got a very valuable employee, Id love to see Bob get a raise. I came back with my sister and she too had the same experience working with Bob. She came away saying shed definitely go back to him and recommend him to her friends and family. Thank you Bob!His boss however was rude and very condescending. She needs to learn some manners.

I had the pleasant experience of working with the customer service rep. named Bob. I felt badly for arriving at the location with only twenty minutes to spare prior to closing time; however, Bob assured me there would be plenty of time to handle my issue, to which I repeated my sentiment of arriving rather late. What comes next absolutely blew my mind! To my surprise, Bob had me in the door, my issue handled, and me back out the door, and into my car within three minutes. Repeat: three minutes! Now this issue was not simply a question about a certain product, or to pick a new phone case. No this was switching a phone from another phone that had been stolen from my car the previous night. Three minutes. In my opinion, I do not simply think that offering this man the employee of the month would suffice, rather, I think this gentleman needs to be promoted with no further questions. My. Mind. (Insert past tense, figurative explosion sound here)!

Stay away from this location if at all possible. I came in to upgrade my phone and get the items I needed with it. They had a special deal going online at the main Verizon site. I showed it to Bob and he told me he couldnt process a pick-up order for me that I needed to do it myself. Long story short, the website avenue didnt work out. I wasted tons of time on this I then went to a retailer in my home town and they ordered it for me and got it processed in under 5 minutes. Extremely disappointing.

Had an issue with returning a phone, had gotten nowhere with chat online, went to the store for face to face with a real person. I was prepared to totally drop Verizon service because of the issue. Debbie, sales Rep. assisted me. Listened, was patient, and got others involved to correct the issue. The store manager, the district manager, and others were present. Together the issue was corrected. Debbie was wonderful, the others were very kind and helpful. I truly believe customer care is at the top of their service list. Excellent service.

Horrible customer service from Robert specifically. Expected me to tell him what I wanted after 2 minutes of looking by myself and then when I asked for details about the iPhones he couldn’t have been more aloof. Didn’t help me activate my phone, was condescending and said it would “be very straight forward”. Didn’t offer to put the screen protector I bought on for me. I went to the Verizon at Washington square and they helped me very nicely and efficiently!

I went in for a phone replacement after dropping my phone in water. Staff greeted me immediately with warm friendly smiles. Landon was awesome! He was quick, efficient, friendly and to the point. Arrived and was greeted by a very sullen young man. He took my name and said it would be a while. After at least 15 minutes he decided he could stop playing on his phone and help me. Once I decided on a model he reluctantly went in the back to get it. Then as he started the process he looked at his watch and told me to come back in the morning, as if I had nothing better to do, because he had someplace to go. As I DID have other business for the next several days I did not go back. In looking at the other reviews Ill see if I can get the products I need somewhere else.

Well Verizon internet crashed today here and everywhere across America big time problem.Usually they are one of the better services in rural Oregon, now in big cities everyone gets better service. They seem more concerned about 5G than beefing up the 4G network at this time. And theirs cell towers are overloaded most the day. They need to set better priorities.

Im not sure the name of the person who helped me but she was pretty awful. Middle aged women, medium/short hair. The whole time she was trying to convince me that I will fry my battery using a regular charger and unless I spend $80 on a wireless charger Ill ruin my new phone. Didnt want to tell me the price of any single item, only that I can save money on everything if I buy the bundle.She only brought out phone cases that she wanted to sell me, all $50 for a thin piece of clear plastic. The nicer Google phone case that I actually wanted she didnt bring out cause it was only $40. So i drove down to best buy and bought a better phone case.

Cell phone stores seem to be hit or miss depending on what you are there for. If buying a new device, they are usually great. On my last visit I was picking up a new tablet that I purchased online and it was super easy. The day before I was in shopping for the tablet and the salesperson was great. Super helpful. About a month prior I was in to get some things changed on the account and while everyone was friendly and helpful, they ultimately couldnt do anything other than give me a number to call. That all being said, I dont hesitate to visit this store when needed.

Extremely helpful in a tough spot with brand new phone XS with major problems.Apple gave me the run around, other “Big Box” store gave me the run around.Kelsey and Debbie jumped right on my phone and did everything they could (even though it was Apple’s problem).Spent nearly 2 hours with me trying different things to help out.MUCH better customer service than you’re used to dealing with these days. I mean... theyre OK. Better than most, but could be stronger. I like them enough to stay with them for 18 years (ish). Everyone knows the ins and outs of Verizon itself so regarding the customer service location... Interesting change-up with the check in when you walk in and no counters (likely been awhile as I go in no more than I have to). Reps are relatively informed. Even though I realize its their job, there are a few things... they seem like they are always trying to up-sell and this tends to cloud any confidence I have in the advice I receive. Thats it. Just give me the straight stuff... dont need to mirror me or try to be likeable to me... just tell me the pros and cons, what plan I should be on and dont try to sell me stuff you know wont work for me and Ill regret buying 3 weeks from now.

I came in on a Saturday 10 minutes after opening and every sales associate was already busy with customers. The greeter at the door took my name and number and I waited just over 20 minutes to get help. Once I got help the guy was very nice, honest and knowledgeable of what I needed and got me out of there. I have no complaints, people that get angry at the wait times need to take a deep breath and relax. Theres simply a large volume of customers at any given time so plan accordingly. Definitely dont go here on your lunch break!

Shady business practices. I went in to let them know I still havent received my Visa card offer from when I signed up 6 months ago. While I was there I was told they were going to lower my bill--good news, but if I hadnt gone in I never wouldve been told. Plus, still no sign of my Visa card rebate.Update: Finally, in December--7 months after signing with them--I received my reward. I had to take it as a credit on my bill since I was tired of hearing them say it was in the mail.

I had recently purchased a new phone at the Wash Sq Verizon center. The purchase went well, but when I returned because I questions about the new phone, two of the three sales people (one of whom sold me the phone) were barely engaged, & ran off everytime they saw a potential buyer. So, I went to the Bridgeport Verizon center to ask if that was the policy (essentially once you purchase a product, you are on your own unless theres something wrong with the phone.) The manager wanted to know which store, and I told her I was just interested in knowing the policy because if thats what Verizon calls customer service, I need to shop around the next time I renew, or my phone is paid off. She assured me that customer follow up questions are dealt with. She assigned someone to me that answered the few questions I had. So, she did a good job. I still wont return to the Wash Sq center even though its the closest.I do like the S10e so far, even though its only been a week or so.

If you have about an hour to sit and wait. Then this place is for you! Those of us who pay an astronomical amount for this service dont have time during a work day to hangout at a Verizon store pondering as to how this could possibly take so long when half the staff are obviously not busy. (Well maybe busy chatting and laughing with one another) the only reason I dont give it one star is not because of how the store is operating. It is based off of Verizons policys. Every time my phone takes a dive they give me a new one for free. Now I pay for insurance and also the phone problems are factory defects. Non the less I appreciate the no hassle replacement. However to expect people to wait that long is a joke. A doctor visit will usually have you in and out way before a visit to Verizon. Also would just like to add. I travel all over the US and so far this is the only store I have visited that is this disorganized.

Most of the staff here is amazing. I come here often to purchase new accessories and phones. I recently ran into an issue with the Air pods not working with my Galaxy S9 and wanted to return them and get the Google pixel buds. Adam (sales associate superstar) and Cameron (the store manager) helped me and they are both amazing at taking care of customers!! Always above and beyond 😁😁😁 Thanks guys!! If I could give this store a zero I would. I bought a brand new phone at this store for my mom to upgrade her old phone. They charged me for activation however they did not even activate my phone for me. They told me to call this customer service number at home to go through this process. That makes absolutely no sense to me. Is this how you treat your customers? I bought the new phone, and you dont activate it for me? When did this happen? The lady who helped me stated some new policy started back in December. Thats bull. Thanks Verizon. Your coverage is great but your store customer service agents are not helpful.

Went in to have my number transferred to a new phone and to have them assist me in making sure that my contacts and history went through. They were unwilling to help transfer any of my information, the woman told me to go home and figure out where I had saved stuff too and do it myself. I was also then pitched a bunch of things that I was not at all interested in, and they would not take no for an answer. I will be going out of my way to go to a different store, where there are hopefully competent and helpful employees.

I dont often give out low star ratings but this place deserves it. When I visited I only had a question about if they had a product in stock. They had 10+ employees working (half of them not engaged with customers) and I was told I needed to check in with over a half-hour wait. I explained I was just curious if they had the item and the greeter said they couldnt help. I went to see if I could find it myself and an associate stood directly in front of me even after I asked politely if she could move - no she wasnt with a customer either! I am giving 2 stars instead of 1 because they have a lot of product on the floor if you want to check something out before buying it online.

I was sent home to transfer all of my information by myself for my phone and my husband’s phone. The employee at this store said it would be easy... well that has not been the case due to the fact that my husband got a new phone number, the employee 100% should’ve known this would be an issue, we have been locked out of his iCloud for 3 days while we wait for Apple to do their stuff. My husband is concerned about not being able to recover his stuff including pictures of his son growing up, which are irreplaceable. If the employee would’ve just done what he should have (transferred the stuff regardless of time involved) we would not be in this situation. I’m super unhappy with the customer service I have received at every single corporate Verizon store I have dealt with in my 15 years of being a Verizon customer. Highly recommend going to an authorized retailer instead of corporate if you can help it.

Staff member Cameron here was rude and hostile. In fact, every time Ive been here its a drill. Horrible service, but he was actually having like roid rage or something. Im a 50+ year old business owner and if any of my staff EVER behaved like this it would be an instant discharge.In general, Like pulling teeth to get any service here, they just want to sell you a phone and get you out of their hair. If youre going in for service, youll be greeted with an eye roll and a brief tutorial on how to do it yourself from home. Im a 10 year account holder and was SHOCKED at the treatment and have been pretty much every time Ive gone there.Went to Washington square branch and was treated well and with reasonably good service.

Ive been to this place three times now and have had the same poor service every time. (Note that this review is for this location specifically)Here is my story:I walked in the door and was immediately greeted (good, I thought). The friendly associate promptly put my name on a list and told me I was next in line. He then proceeded to go sit on one of the only two chairs in the whole store, leaving me to stand and wait while he did nothing. Apparently his entire job description is to greet people and then do nothing. (Maybe he should be fired so they can make room for associates that can actually help)After waiting for approximately five minutes, three other people came in after me and were placed on the list in the same fashion. Left alone to wander and wait for the next available store associate. I then noticed one of the associates behind the counter talking on his own cell phone (which sounded like a personal call) while the line was only getting longer. I waited at least 20 minutes longer (by then I was sitting on the floor due to lack of seating) until I was called up and helped by an associate.After glancing at my broken phone, he told me they had no replacements in the store and a new one would have to be ordered. Rather than placing the order for a new one, he handed me the store phone and told me to place the order myself so he could go on break.Summary: The store is a waste of time, just stay at home and call the 800 number for technical service.Update: Several months later, I am having issues with my service. Many dropped calls, echoes in the voices, and poor service. Called customer service, but they told me I had to bring the phone into a store to have a manual reset and diagnostics to verify nothing is wrong with the phone. I think, ok no problem. I go back to this store because its later in the day and dont have time to drive across town. I wait in line for at least 25-30 minutes before Im called on. I present my case to the technician and without even looking at my phone, she looks at me and tells me there is nothing they can do. She displays lack of concern and tells me I must be in a dead zone, but according to customer service on the phone, my entire area is completely covered! What the hell was she talking about. Well, no help here, she tells me to call back customer service and plea my case. I called back customer service when I got home and guess what, they again told me I need to bring it to a store to run diagnostic! After explaining that I was just there, the girl laughed and said, oh, well they must not be a real Verizon Wireless store! But this is the exact place that customer service had recommend I go to because it was so close. So here I am hours later and still absolutely no help from anyone. I am canceling my account tomorrow! Good riddance Verizon.

Make sure everything works before leaving the store. My mistake. Had to return a defective Galaxy Book 2 which cost $999 and got charged a $50 restocking fee. This was the last one they had so would have to order one (or try to fix this one?) to replace it. Not interested.Needless to say, I am not a happy camper.

I came in today (Saturday) morning to this store location and was assisted by Nick. I had to return a phone that I purchased 1 week ago, and needed to activate another one. Nick provided immediate service and took care of all the steps reqired in the process. Everything took about 30-45 minutes. I am very pleased with the service received and definitely thumbs up to Nick! :)

Been a Verizon customer for years now and I have also visited a few different Verizon locations in the Oregon/Washington area.The store in Bridgeport is by far the best story I’ve ever visited there was a young lady named Andrea Andrea who is very knowledgeable and help me with everything I needed help with I will for sure be recommending Verizon to my friends and family as well as returning to the store (Andrea in particular) for any and all of my wireless needs!

Ive walked away from Verizon stores under one impression and then when I get my bill, its a completely different story. Sometimes you get a rare gem off an employee who is awesome, but most of the time its a pretty disappointing experience. Verizon is also the MOST expensive cellphone provider out there, who offers the weakest promotions in the industry. Ive since gone to TMobile and received incredible offers and incentives. They paid off my Google pixel 1, and also paid for half of my new pixel 2.

The staff was unfriendly with poor interpersonal skills and had bad breath. I wanted to exchange unused tempered glass that I previously purchased from Verizon and was still in the Verizon box for tempered glass that would fit my new Verizon phone, but they refused to exchange it or provide any accommodation. I waited for over 30 minutes for them to tell me they would do nothing for me.

We had a BOGO promo we used to get the S9+ phones. Ordered online and picked up in store. Had them for a month no issues and then got a call from the store saying theres an issue with their system and if we dont come in our lines will be shut off. Came in, waited forever. Finally they looked at our plan and said they cant fix whatever was wrong and we need to come back again the next day. When pressed about the issue all answers were vague and sounded bogus as everything was working and our online account was all correct. The next day more time and gas was spent to go to the store so they could fix their system. They said nothing would change with our promo or bill. Our bill skyrocketed to 263 the following month. A quick call to customer service verified that the issue took off our BOGO promo. The phone rep was helpful and submitted a ticket to fix this. STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE AS THEIR EMPLOYEES (JUSTIN and others) ARE DECEPTIVE AND WILL WASTE YOUR TIME AS WELL AS MONEY. We were not compensated in any way for our wasted time.

Went in to buy the new S10+. They didnt have all the models on their tablets so we had to use the computer but the employee didnt fully understand their own system to get the order done for me. Took awhile, but got what I needed.

Going to a cell phone store 2 days before Christmas, I thought I would be waiting in long lines and have a lot of headaches getting service started. To my surprise, the whole experience was way better than I expected. Nic was super helpful and even activated my phones on his day off. I would strongly recommend anyone looking to add a phone or switch carriers to visit Nic at Verizon at Bridgeport.
