Their body work is very good and faster than initially promised. Edwin is exceptional and we really enjoyed working with him. There were a few issues with the work and when we brought the car back the next day Edwin immediately took the car back and remedied out issues. They were able to quickly diagnose the problem and complete the repair the same day, which got me back out on the road quickly.They also gave me a complete detailed list of other items that will need to be addressed in the near future and helped identify which of them is more critical than others.

Honesty and integrity describes Caliber Auto Care.My family and I have been bringing our three vehicles to Caliber for a year now. They solved my daughters car issue when nobody else would/could and they charged her a very fair price.Caliber has also serviced our other two vehicles, and again the fees charged were very fair in my opinion.Today I was in for an oil change and I was greeted with warmth. I had an appointment and my vehicle was brought in on time and was completed faster than I expected. The waiting area is welcoming and comfortable.Shortly after settling into the waiting area, I received a text directing me to photos of my vehicle, a summary of the checkup, and a couple of recommendations that do need to be addressed. Moments after I reviewed the photos, the technician came out personally to walk me through the photos and report. I appreciated his attention and concern that I understand the recommendations.I also wanted to mention another great experience I had about 6 months ago. I had a concern regarding fluids. They checked the situation and it turned out to be a non-issue. I appreciated their honesty!!!!!!
I visited the creek side location because I had a flat tire. Nicolette greeted me and explained that the tire was repairable. The tire was fixed super fast and I didn’t have to pay anything! This was such a good experience and I would highly recommend coming here.

This is like a one stop shop for all of your car maintenance needs! Definitely will be coming back here for any car repairs and maintenance. The customer service here is exceptional, you can tell they will go above and beyond for their customers. I especially enjoyed Terry’s enthusiasm and courtesy. Their digital car reports are awesome as well. I’ve never had an auto shop send me a live report of everything going on with my car. That is a definite plus 😄 The reason I am giving them four stars is because I asked to have my brake light put in by one of the technicians and that wasn’t done. I’m not sure if that was communicated to the techs but when I got back in my car to leave, I noticed my brake lightbulbs was still in my cupholder unopened. It wasn’t that big of a deal as my boyfriend was able to replace it for me but I was really hoping for that to be done. Otherwise, I fully recommend Caliber auto care for all of your auto needs! Ive brought my vehicle to discount tire three times in an attempt at getting my tires balanced. Ive also used another repair shop to work on the front end. Ive been dealing with vibration and a pull to the right. Frustrated to say the least. On a whim I brought my truck to this location. My truck is finally pleasurable to drive again. I realize this isnt an easy job I have large rims but the vibration is gone. The pull is gone. Matt and his crew rolled out the red carpet and after a short wait in the super clean and comfortable lobby I was on the road. Shout out to these superstars I cant thank you enough.

My car acted up in a very concerning way when I was in the area. Service First was one of the closest places so I took it to them. Their diagnostics cost was on the pricey side. They did a full diagnostic on my car and decided that I needed a very pricey replacement done, about $1500. They also pushed me to do some other elective maintenance, pushing the total to about $2000.I had a family member call them to discuss and he told them I wouldnt be doing the extra maintenance. Next thing I knew, they were calling to tell me that the replacement actually needed a more expensive part, coming to about $1700. That family member found someone else in town that would do the replacement for less than $1000, with the same parts and warranties.I ended up taking the car somewhere else (Family Auto & Transmission Service), where they repeated the diagnostic (for free!) and found that the true issue was a faulty battery terminal. They said the part that Service First said needed to be replaced just needed some maintenance that was standard for my mileage and that they would do it. The total came out to
Brought our 2009 Land Rover to the Service First Kuykendahl/Creekside location because the air condition would intermittently stop blowing cold air. I’ve no clue with cars which is why I pay for professional services. So I paid $189 for an AC diagnostic and was told the diagnostic showed no problem and the technician couldn’t see any sign of a leak or other problems. When I challenged this result they said I could bring the car back in 5-7 days and they’d take another look but why would this be necessary when the AC diagnostic clearly states: “This allows the Technician the proper amount of time to accurately test and diagnose the Air Conditioning concern at hand, then determine the necessary repair(s) to resolve the concern.”??Fast forward 8 weeks (with same AC problems as originally) and the AC compressor ceased causing ~ $5k in broader engine damage. This was the estimate provided after I was charged a SECOND $189 diagnostic fee. I decided to tow the vehicle somewhere else as I don’t have confidence in this place.
Service First is a very professional and friendly automotive shop to work with. I dropped off my car at 9:30 on a Saturday morning for an oil change and engine service. Within 45 minutes I received a text with a report about my vehicle. I called to approve the work and received a follow up call at 1:00 saying my car was ready. Prior to Monday, 8-17-20, I was a Service First Customer for LIFE. I brought my car to Service First in Tomball at 12:30 and ended up leaving it there. Prior to leaving, I made sure they would be able to fix the issues on my vehicle by the end of the day and was told, yes. I called them at 2:00 to check on the status. I was told the Spark plugs had just arrived and they were starting to work on my vehicle. Again, I inquired to make sure my vehicle would be done by 6:00pm, when they closed and was told, yes. I V was relieved. My ride dropped me back off at Service First at 4:00. I walked in, said Hi to the receptionist (who had assured me it would be complete twice) and then sat in the waiting room. After 20 mins the receptionist came in the waiting room and told me they could not complete my vehicle. I asked if they had fixed any of the issues because I was told at 2:00 they were starting to work on it. I was told No. I was lied to, wasted a day, and upset with the customer service. I got my keys, and left around 4:30pm.Update- I received a message from Alex at the Spring Cypress Location. I spoke to him on 8-21-2020. He offered to pick up my vehicle and give me a $50 voucher on my $1,000 total bill. I almost laughed. My time is worth way more valuable than that. I wasted a ½ day at work by taking off to get this done.
I took my car in for it’s 30,000 mile maintenance. They did everything Audi called for in a timely manner. They are very friendly and professional.

Updated, 5/23/18: Eddie did reach out to us personally, as he said hed do below. He was very apologetic and eager to make things right. They refunded the cost for the oil change that wasnt disclosed to us originally, and have offered us our next oil change for free. They took another look and upon further inspection found the issue wed originally reported and repaired it for free. They called to follow up, which was greatly appreciated. Well be happy to give them another try for the foreseeable future.Really disappointed in our service today. Used to be a great location with a great team. We called early in the week and scheduled an appointment for a specific problem and when it was not addressed appropriately, the blame was shifted to us for dropping off the van with no instructions, which was simply not true. They proceeded with a more expensive oil change than we were expecting without a call to notify us beforehand. And the original issue that we came in for was not addressed sufficiently. Definitely won’t be returning to this location.
Ive had 3 alignments done here on my truck, each time I have to bring the truck back because the steering wheel is not straight. Im not sure why this is a reoccurring problem. But it is certainly a problem

Went in prepared to replace both of my batteries on my 1ton dually, even told them I needed two new batteries. Most places would have just done it, but after testing the batteries, I was informed that only one battery was needed. That’s integrity. I truly appreciate that kind of service and will not only return to Service First myself, I will recommend them to my friends and family. I can’t wait to see if they build any new shops down south! Until then, I will drive to the North side for my automotive needs! Great job guys! Everyone that I came in contact with was courteous and knowledgeable.

This business is the real deal. We would give way more than 5 stars if possible. They are an incredibly friendly and pleasant group of folks who work there and we have always been treated so well. It is so refreshing to see that customer service like theirs still exists.They have a great waiting area and also a shuttle service. They are honest about wait times and our vehicles have always been done when promised. We highly recommend using Service First for your auto needs, we will not go anyplace else.

We have been customers at Service First for five years and have had exceptional service up until very recently. A few weeks ago my husband dropped his vehicle off requesting a battery change (as it was turning over multiple tones upon ignition), an oil change, there was a rattle he wanted them to check out, and he asked for his windshield wiper fluid to be topped off. We left his car there Friday afternoon and at Saturday before close they called and had not done any of the requested services. They didn’t even apologize or offer an explanation. They told us his battery was fine when we knew it wasn’t and it died at a gas station with our infant child in tow. I called to let them know that however they’re checking batteries isn’t effective and there was no apology again.Fast forward to this weekend, we drop off his car again and upon pickup they have not replaced his head light as requested or filled up his windshield wiper fluid and it was there all day on Monday. Disappointed and hoping this is a minor glitch. Feeling hesitant to return.

This is the only service center we use in the area. Their prices are reasonable, informative recommendations, and I love their inspection picture process. Whenever you take a vehicle you are provided with pictures of items good or bad that the mechanic is observing as they work.

Brought my daughters car here after finding an oil leak. We had just had an oil change by another company 2 weeks prior. Went to have bearings replaced. Great job on repair.Next morning when I drove off my driveway there is a big oil spot, I open the hood and my oil cap was sitting to the side my oil was serviced 2000 miles ago. When I called to inform them immediately got on the defense Front counter employee said they never open the hood.never heard of auto place that doesn’t pop hood. For that reason I won’t be back

I had an issue with a door latch breaking on my vehicle and took it to Eddie at Service First to do an assessment. Turned out there was a safety recall on the part so Eddie called me right away to let me know Id have to take it to the dealership but that he would make sure the car got pulled into the garage over the weekend so it was secure until I was able to have it picked up on Monday.My wife and I have been coming here since we moved to Texas almost 3 years ago and have always found the best service at a fair price with every trip. They really do treat you like family and its obvious that they place service first!

I had both mine and my wifes car serviced here on the same day. I booked them in after reading poor reviews about the Service Department of the dealership where I brought them. I dont often bother writing reviews but these guys have definitely earned this. Their customer service is excellent, the service process itself is crystal clear, transparent and excellent value as well. I dealt with Justin & Aaron, both of whom were extremely knowledgeable and couldnt do enough to help. Excellent job, definitely coming back whenever our vehicles are due a service.

I have been looking for a good mechanic or shop since moving back to this area. I looked on internet other night and went through reviews for Service First. I was AMAZED at how nice/courteous/friendly/and honest people that work there!!! Justin took care of me from start to finish and was more than great. I will take all my repairs to Justin and Service First.
SCAMMERS! My car needed the rack and pinion fixed and not only did they want to charge me $1700 for that (other places said $900), they tried so say I needed other things at $4,000. Paid $64 just to have them look at it. Said I needed an alignment and tie rod ends, I had those fixed 2 months ago. That made it apparent to me that they are scammers!
I stopped by without an appointment and the staff was super friendly and accommodating! Kevin got me right in and they were able to identify and fix the problem right away! I was in and out in 30 minutes and the staff could not be more friendly! The waiting room was comfortable and they even offered me water! I will definitely be back and highly recommend!
Came in for a State Inspection. I was given an estimated wait time of 35-45 mins. There was no rush so I agreed. I waited inside their customer lounge. It was comfortable and clean. Despite being busy they finished my Inspection in less than half the time. Drove away happy!
Awesome service! I normally go to the one on Louetta, but this one is closer to my house. They were fast and were awesome at explaining what was wrong with my car. Its been open for about a year but it comes with the reputation of all the other Service First locations! Definitely will be returning!
My husband does his own work but sometimes he needs help. They are overly friendly and takes my husbands nervousness into account. He is extremely pleased with them which makes this 5 star for me. We had to repair our air conditioning and something else that escapes me atm. My husband is never impressed by a automotive shop but he is them, hes even recommending it to my nephew.

Normally when I review auto places it’s because they did a bad job or ripped me off. Service first may actually be my first positive auto review! I am writing because I came in with battery issues and they explained the problem to me with small words that I could understand then fixed it for free! I say if your in the area give them a shot!

Eddie is always awesome and willing to help out when there is an issue.Took my 05 Silverado here for AC repair - turns out the compressor, and one actuator is bad.They fixed things, and AC is blowing cold.Fast forward to today... truck starts blowing hot again.Turns out 2 more of the actuators are out. They weren’t caught on the first diagnostic, but Eddie worked with me to remedy the issue.Nobody can ever catch 100% of problems, all the time, every time. That’s not a realistic expectation, and it’s something most consumers demand.What really matters is how those problems, issues, and mistakes are handled when they happen.Thank you Eddie for making things right, and thank you to all the kind folks at Service First. A 99 Cent discount was given to me for my trouble. Erin was absolutely horrible to deal with. I called and spoke to the owner, Kris, and he told me that Erin was a long time friend of his family so it doesnt matter it he treats customers with disrespect. When my car was ready, they called to let me know that. When I asked for a discount for my trouble, they gave me 99 cents of my total bill. I spent $600 to get my car fixed and there was mud on the seats like someone was standing on it. Bad customer service and just a horrible experience all the way around.
I had been going there since they opened, but this last visit was quite disappointing. I took my BMW in for a check engine light. I was told that the charge for diagnosis is $169.00 to tell me what the problem is and the amount for repair. Well, I was told by the service advisor that it would cost me @ $1,800.00 and the car may or may not be repaired. I dont mind paying the $1,800.00, but the fact is that after paying that amount they have to do further testing. Sounds like another auto tech is needed. Ohh and by the way you need new plugs and wires and some sensor.
I cant recommend this place highly enough. We were on our way to meet friends of our son at the nearby park when our van started making an awful noise. My husband quickly figured out that a bolt under the car was missing or broken but with limited view he wasnt sure what it was for.We were over 20 miles from home and we didnt have the tools to do more. After some debate we decided to drive to a nearby auto repair shop rather than risking the long drive home. Ive seen a lot of friends have really bad experiences with auto repair shops so I was nervous. I was just praying that it wouldnt cost more than a couple of hundred dollars since things have been tough lately.I talked to a friend whod had what sounded like the same problem and he reassured me that they had only paid about $175 to get it fixed. When the mechanic got it up to look at it he told my husband that not only was 1 bolt missing but the 2nd one was loose. The bolts were holding the break caliper place (I think thats what it was called.) and if it had slung loose the car would have been badly damaged and we would have lost our breaks. Under those circumstances there was no way we would attempt to drive home with our 8 year old.They didnt have the bolt but called around trying to find one. When they did it couldnt be delivered until after 5 P.M. I was dreading hearing that if we wanted to repaired we would have to pay for overtime and mentally trying to figure out what else I could sell to cover the bills with our 3rd emergency expense in as many months. Trying to think of who we knew that might take my husband to pick up the part earlier... About 15 minutes later my husband called me back to tell me that the mechanic had found a bolt that could be temporally used in the place of the one that was missing (It wasnt as long as the other one) so he could go pick up the part. Not only did they not charge him for putting it in, they assured him that the temporary bolt would hold long enough for him to go home and put the new one in himself.To us that was a huge miracle right when we needed one most. I am not sure if they saw something in my eyes or what that made them decide to give us this monumental break, but we are so grateful. I have known many people who have had problems with auto repair places and this one could have easily taken advantage. I went from feeling beaten down to feeling lifted up and hopeful.
