Went with my 2 little ones on a Monday night. Got sat right away. Great food and even better service. Overall great experience. Even my 3 and 4 year old loved it and ask to go back almost every day now.
Food was good as was the service. The only thing I didnt care for is they put my eggs on top of my waffles. Needed a separate plate for one or the other. They should let the customer know its all on one plate and let them choose. Too much food for one plate.

Not busy, which should have been our first clue. It was 9:15am, on a Sat. We waited at the door for 5min.( yes I timed it)to be seated. Not one of the four employees acknowledged us, but when we left they chased us out to the parking lot. He then asked if he could help us... do yourself a solid and go across the street to Cozy Kitchen. Great service& food.
Have loved going here since I was a kid..and the place has not changed a bit! Great breakfast food and super friendly staff.Also, Id wager their Eggs Benedict is the best around..Ive yet to see someone match their hollandaise sauce, and I make a point to try it elsewhere.

We dont visit very often but enjoy the food when we do. The staff is friendly and the diner is clean. The food is tasty and they usually have some specials I like to try. I really like their french dip sandwich.

This place has gone downhill since the newest manager has taken over. He refuses to order Splenda and has told me that “the pink stuff is just the same”. They went a week without having any tea bags. And we have seen him openly arguing with the wait staff, saying “I’ll just fu**ing go home and you guys can do it all.”

This dinner has always been a clean and friendly place to dine. We have had our breakfast there on many occasions through the years and always walked out satisfied with the food and the service. It didnt take COVID to make this a clean and friendly place.
Got there at opening, quickly seated since no one else was there. Food was really good and server was very friendly.. definitely hit them up again.

OPEN FOR BUSINESS--I found a website that said this place closed down. ITS OPEN--YAY!!! This is a great little place, good food & very reasonable. My favorite is the FRIED GROUPER DINNER or SANDWICH--large portion of super-crunchy but moist fish. My husbands fav is the MEATLOAF DINNER or SANDWICH.

The prices are on the higher side and the quality may not be 5 star out of the Ritz, however, the quantity of food is amazing. One meal, is easily three.

The service at Silverton Diner was very quick. Our waitress was great, she stayed on top of our needs the entire time. The food was so so, I got a Pork Roll n Cheese on a hard roll with French fries on the side. They barely put any pork roll on the sandwich( mostly Bread)and it tasted a little off, maybe burnt it, idk. Usually the food is pretty good there.

Great little diner! Ordered Turkey club with sweet potato fries on the lunch special. Friendly wait staff and our food came out quickly. Dont underestimate this place. It might be small on the inside but it is a classic diner with great food!

Food is great. The prices are great. The staff is wonderful, nice and accommodating. Family-run atmosphere. I had the chicken parmesan without any pasta they were accommodating to me by giving me to vegetables instead. And I love it.
This is a great little place. You have to look for it going down road or youll drive past it. Old time dinner food which was excellent. Friendly staff. Highly recommend.
Nothing like a great diner! I had the taco salad with chicken..sadly the shell was stale but not inedible. Kids chicken fingers and mom from the smaller portions menu..pork chop and baked potato. Server was militant efficient calling my grandchildren young man and lady..which was very cute. All in all good experience!

My wife and I visited with our niece and nephew (twin two year olds that cant sit still). The service was impeccable. They offered us high chairs or booster seats and were quick to bring over some crayons and coloring sheets. The food came out extremely quickly, but perfectly prepared, and it was crowded and busy. Cant say the same for most places we frequent. Ill be back again soon.
Amazing diner, there pancakes are on another level of deliciousness and they have a great selection of menu items like the crab salad. They have some good specials also. They use high quality food to make their dishes as well. Great place to eat at!

Great value for the money... good ole fashioned diner food and servings! Quaint ambience with oldies but goodies music playing at all times. Waitstaff is attentive, friendly and efficient. Would be 5-star if food was served while temperature was consistently very hot.
We liked the food and service. I gave it 4 stars because it needs a serious update. Its old looking and several seats were ripped. If they update and they get the message out via valpak or something similar they would do a lot more business.

On our last visit our breakfast was just as we ordered. Our order was taken quickly and served in a reasonable amount of time. The menu is a standard Diner menu, and the prices are reasonable. There was no wait for seating. The service was acceptable, although it only really included taking our order serving our breakfast, and giving us the check.
Poached eggs on English muffins Canadian..easy and delicious. Coffee really good. The fries could use closer attention; they werent nice and crunchy.... some tasted not done.

Silverton Diner doesnt look like much, but its my favorite far and away of any other in New Jersey and Ive been to dozens. Staff is super attentive and friendly and they serve the best breakfast in my opinion. Try the seared hash browns with any one of their many omelettes for a satisfying breakfast. Your coffee cup will never go empty.

Thus was my first visit to the Silverton Diner and it wont be my last. I met family here for a late breakfast and received great service, the food selections were many, which one expect when the place is called a diner. For my choice I picked the corned beef hash omelet but substituted the standard cheese for swiss. It was really good and a good size portion. My brothers all liked there choices as well. Guess we will be adding this place to our rotation. Can be easy to miss if you are looking for a stereotypical diner building look for the sign, and it is next door to the Toms River Ale House. Give the Silverton a try.
Excellent little diner. Been here a few times. Seems like many locals go here. Definitely worth trying. You won’t be disappointed!
