I am really glad that I decided to try this place. The food and service were both excellent. The staff was very nice. My waitress, Katelyn, was very good. She checked on me several times, but didnt make me feel like she was trying to rush me. The food was also very good. I had the licer and onions, which was on their specials menu for the day. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I will definitely return here!

Host and waitress were very quick and polite. Food was out quick and tasted good. Had cheese burgers and fries and all were cooked how we asked and fresh. I believe beef patties were from frozen but still good quality ones.
This was the worst dining experience of my 31 years on earth. While the host was very nice and welcoming, I’ve met pieces of drywall that we’re more hospitable than our server. The pictures on the menu were incredibly deceptive. While I thought I was going to get a hot plate of roasted turkey with mashed potatoes and gravy. I actually got cold thick deli cut turkey and the mashed potatoes I got 15 minutes after my turkey tasted like styrofoam. I’ve had a better eating experience getting sushi from a gas station. I’m in shock and awe that this place is still open.
We had a group of Retired Corrections Officers....We were treated with kid gloves by the Staff....food was excellent...and had a good time...great experience!
Had the pork roll and cheese omelet and the wife had ham and cheese omelet. Both were good the fried potatoes were a little bland could use some seasoning and maybe something to add a little moisture to them I found them a little dry. Coffee was very good and our server was very nice and did a great job.
The place was clean and welcoming however the waitress was not so welcoming. The food was not good. Definitely felt like we were more of a burden to the diner than customers. They also had some odd rules that I’ve personally never heard of like not being able to split checks because it was a weekend and not a weekday. Me and my buddies were baffled the whole time we were there.
Stopped by for breakfast and got a home cooked meal is what ot felt like. Great breakfast. Great service great prices.
Staff was extremely nice and friendly. My food was disappointing. I ordered a gyro sandwich. The meat tasted like breakfast sausage and the tzatziki sauce was very bland.

Hands down one of the worst services I have encountered. The waitress we had was rude the whole time as if we were an inconvenience to her, which she even acknowledged at the end because she was trying to clean up, because we close at 9 and I want to go home and not with humor, but with attitude. We didnt get any refills, except for the one I had gotten by going up to the counter. She also forgot our sides, which I told her literally 3 times to get. I understand wanting to go home, I understand being tired, I understand almost being done for the day, however common courtesy and positive attitude is part of your job you have chosen.

Was unhappy with the waitress, when ordering she wasnt even looking at me and had to ask me again what I wanted. When I got my food (which didnt have onions in it) there were onions in parts of it like they didnt clean before cooking it or cooked a bunch together. Food was awful i didnt even finish it was very upset and I got a basic grilled cheese sandwich which I never thought someome could mess up but they succeeded there. Another waitress used her fingers to wipe off a fork before placing it on the table. Would not go back again
Classic Old school NJ diner. Good service. Had the French toast for breakfast and it was very good. Comfort food. Will stop here again when visiting the area.

I understand that restaurants are short staffed but it took a long time to even get drinks. Watched my waitress going back and forth with different tables food and beverages all while the manager talked to people at the counter. Once I got my dinner I didnt hear from the waitress till my wife stopped her and asked for a refill on my drink. Will not be returning anytime no matter what
Food was very good, the waitress was very friendly and very quick. Overall a great experience. The prices are a little high, but with the pandemic and losing business its to be expected to make up for the losses that the business has taken over the year. It was still overall a great experience

I love this place, I eat breakfast here every other sunday and the choices are great. Ive had the omelets and my favorite so far is the pastrami, every member of the staff is there to serve you with a smile. The diner is clean and the food is fresh. If youre in toms river or seaside heights, its worth the stop.

Met a group of people this morning for breakfast at the diner. Emma was our waitress she was so great. It started with a comment i made to my friends but she heard and it was laughter all the way. Food and good co. were all good.

Havent been here in awhile, dont plan on coming back. Service was fine, food was awful. Ordered the easiest things to make. My daughter had banana pancakes, batter was still liquid and runny on the inside. Had a buffalo chicken wrap, the chicken was mushy and had roughly a few drops of hot sauce. Stick to just about any other diner in the area
No wait even if busy on a Sunday without any reservations.. Party of 3 waited 10 mins at max.. Hefty portions, staff with patience and courteous.. A local favorite
Food is good, service is good. TV on without sound, good. Because of the channels if you are a Democrat dont go there. If you are a smart, non Trump Republican, go but grit your teeth. If you are a drink-the-Koolaid Republican this is the restaurant for you!!!
The food was good but the cook reheated my pork chops after a orange was on it and I am allergic to them but the waitress was very nice and did not charge me for it

The woman who waited on us I believe it was Melanie) was absolutely delightful! We are not from the area but we visit my mother (who lives in Toms River) often. We will definitely be returning to the diner. Also...the food was delicious!

Food was pretty good. Waitress was very nice, & clear about her name - liked that. My order wasnt exact, but she made up for it with free dessert, which was unexpected & welcome. I was in a bit of hurry so did not linger over coffee. Food came out promptly, hot, well made & tasty. Except for corned beef vs pastrami mix up, no real complaints. Good overall. Lots of good parking & good location for multiple exits.
