The office staff is friendly and attentive. The environment is clean and relaxing.The testing was on time, very thorough and Dr. Alina Garrido was super knowledgeable and professional. Explained the testing and results. I highly recommend this office for a great experience in being tested for hearing .

Everyone here is very delightful. Annmarie who answers the phone is very patient, kind and helpful. (They actually answer the phone here!! No phone tree or complicated process to get to speak to an actual person ) I was able to get an appointment same week. There was no wait, they took me exactly at my appointment time.The office of extremely clean and everyone is wearing a mask. The doctor and/or technician who did the testing was very, very kind and extremely helpful.I really enjoyed this office and their staff.I would recommend to friends and family.

Tinnitus is a major part of my hearing problem s. By helping me pick out good aides with sound blocking features I now have a light sound of the ocean instead of a siren type sound in my head. And I can, with the use of my remote, control its volume or shut it of! What a blessing! Three cheers for Garden State Hearing!

I had been asking my husband to have his hearing tested for several years, as he often missed conversations that were going on around him. When we saw free screenings offered by Garden State Hearing & Balance Center, he agreed to be tested. The findings necessitated hearing aids to boost his listening ability. From the start, the staff was welcoming and put him at ease. Dr. Richards conducted the evaluation in a professional and friendly atmosphere, with no pressure to purchase hearing aids. However, she did advise him that the quality of his life would improve if he were able to hear better and introduced him to new technology which would provide him not only with the ability to understand others speech, but also was barely visible due to its unique styling. An interest-free payment plan was offered, and within a week my husband was fitted with his new aids. Unlike other men we know, he does not leave them in the dresser drawer or on his bureau. He does, in fact, wear them each and every day and no longer feels left out of conversations. Kudos to Garden State Hearing & Balance Center and, especially, to Dr. Richards who was so helpful!

My husband has needed hearing aids for many years. He didnt want to get them for fear that they would be unattractive and visible to his co-workers and others. Not only did I have to repeat everything twice for him, he also was suffering while trying to hear at business meetings. Most of the time, he hardly heard a word. It was so embarrassing for him when he attended a meeting where he was supposed to give a presentation. He showed up unprepared.When we moved into a new house in an adult community, I said that I needed to get a foghorn to call to him when he was on the other side of the house. He couldnt hear me when dinner was ready.After meeting with Dr. Izzy and being fitted with hearing aids, he said that it opened up a whole new world for him. Now he can hear so much better. It became much easier for him at business meetings, and I no longer have to hear him say: What? What? in response to every word I said.

I cant express how grateful I am to be a new patient at Garden State Hearing and Balance Center. At the age of 23, I have been a hearing aid wearer for 5+ years and have been to 6 different audiologists during that time. With other audiologists in the Toms River area Ive been extremely dissatisfied with the quality of service and care I received. With Dr. Kim Richards I finally feel hopeful in my journey to hear again. Dr. Richards clearly takes interest in her patients and takes the proper time and effort to work with me. My recent appointment was over an hour and a half as she addressed each and every concern I had! She has incredible talent and the entire staff at GS Hearing and Balance are true professionals. I have been a client many, many years... always greeted with a warm smile and given all the attention and time to resolve any questions or issues by the caring and expert staff. When I first was looking for hearing aids several hearing aid dispensers asked if I had the results of a hearing test... they immediately looked for a hearing aid that would fit my needs; Dr. Kirsh said he did not want the results from someone elses test, he would do his own test.. I was done looking!!!

I got a great deal of help and a long time to try out the hearing aid and so far I have another 3 weeks to evaluate it but it has helped my tinnitus greatly and have had no vertigo in the past 4 months so I would recommend Garden State Hearing! That was a year ago and I am still am happy with the service I receive from Garden State Hearing & Balance Center!
