We went to Mr Mattress to purchase 2 mattress for my aunt and uncle they were so wonderful and accommodating. I had purchased in the past and so did my brother. We also purchased a bunch of new pillows for everyone and they are absolutely the best. Great people. Anyone interested in a new mattress these people are wonderful and they have great prices as well.

I was in need of kitchen chairs. Donna, who is also the owner, went out of her way to help me decide what would be best. As she said, they are a mom and pop store and they spend time with customers. Really great personal service.

Eddie and Donna were easy and comfortable to work with. They do not run there shop like your buying a car. Very knowledgeable and confident of what they are selling you. I have bought my daughters mattress, and a mattress for the master bedroom and will continue to buy from them in the future. Mattresses are very hard to shop for as we all know, I highly suggest going to see Eddie and Donna!! Also they will work with you on price, very affordable for what works for you.

Honestly, bcuz its few n far between lately, that a business hands down deserves a good one. ***And negative reviews r for negative people, unless business deserves one. And let me tell u ALL.... MR MATTRESS OF TOMS RIVER DESERVES 10 STARS!!! I was impressed initially from the door. The woman (Donna) was windexing. Yes, caring about the appearance. She introduced herself by saying, Hello Im Donna, if u have any questions just shout. Wow! Didnt climb up my rear end. No vulture attack, simply allowed me to browse.. Then, WALKED AWAY A BIT! A gentleman later entered, (whom later I learned to be Ed), notified me of coffee,(temp outside: bone chilling.) And instantly I got the family vibe. Ok... Most important part: PRICE, QUALITY AND FOLLOWING THREW. TRIFECTA OF A SCORE!!!! Not only did both Ed and Donna impress with explaining in detail each selection I made. (Which happened to be a toss up of 3. They BOTH allowed me to make up my o×_wn mind, by providing pros n cons. I actually felt I was custom hun ordering for a moment lol. They helped me achieve my bedroom and dining room purchase WITHOUT SETTLING, WITHOUT JUGGLING my CABLE BILL N CAR PAYMENT, AND WITH READY FOR THIS.... $$$$ TO SPARE! $317.00 TO BE EXACT! So, by the looks of this lengthy review, id say Im beyond happy. NOT just me, but my little girl as well. She lit up brighter then our Xmas tree when her new bedroom set was delivered on time as promised! If ur like me, and dont want to feel sharks are the sales people, like a family owned personable business, WANT QUALITY MERCHANDISE ACCOMPANIED BY QUALITY REPS, PROMISES FULFILLED, AND THE FEELING OF MONEY WELL SPENT......MR. Eddie and his wife were both awesome! We shopped around on Black Friday looking for the best deal on a new mattress and box spring and we definitely got it at Mr. Mattress. They were very personal and professional and cared about what we actually wanted instead of just being pushy salesmen like some of the folks up the road. 10/10 would recommend every time!

He made me and my wife feel very comfortable; not once during our time in the store did we feel like we were being sold. It was actually quite enjoyable. He had a great selection, asked us a handful of questions and gave his recommendations. Weve had the bed for a month now and couldnt be happier. What a great experience! I shopped around at many other locations in town and I wish I went to Mr.Mattress first. Everything from educating me on the options all the way to the delivery was exceptionally professional. I will be referring anyone and everyone to Mr. Mattress!

Been buying mattresses here for years - theyre the BEST!

I TRULY want to give a higher rating but just can’t justify it. I purchased a king set and once I got it at home it was so much softer then I realized (or just different from floor model). They also delivered it with the low profile box spring which I did not ask for and did not want being it’s about an inch lower then my bed frame. I went back and spoke to Eddie and he was extremely accommodating saying he would give me the credit towards a new bed and pick it up for $50. I was okay with this since felt a bit responsible for not picking the right bed. I chose a much “higher quality bed” paid the difference and was told it would take a few weeks to have it made and when they brought it they would make sure to have the higher box spring this time. The bed was delivered while I was at work and I could tell by my wife’s tone something was up. I kept an open mind and once I was home excitedly jumped into the new bed!!!! I could not believe what I was feeling. Like a rock! Not only was it a COMPLETELY different feel it had the SAME low box spring. NOT the new low profile box spring the SAME one from the previous set. My wife explained that they brought the wrong box spring for the new bed and instead of using a new box spring with the same profile they were just going to leave the old one and bring back the new higher box spring. After months of calling I finally gave up. I was told the new bed would break in, in the mean time we will get you a mattress topper and that will fix the problem until then. Months later I have a bed that I can not sleep on, can not make (literally scraping knuckles on the bed frame when putting sheets on) and don’t sleep on. Once MAYBE twice a week my wife and I will sleep together in it. Otherwise I am in the spare bedroom which is disappointing at best. After the back and forth I finally gave up. I still don’t have the box spring I paid for nor ever heard anything else about my mattress topper. I have gone in on different occasions to lay on the floor model to make sure my wife and I are not insane because it feels like it at times. I couldn’t imagine getting a bed this uncomfortable. I called and spoke to someone once (don’t remember his name, bigger gentleman) and asked “is there any chance in variations between the same mattress because it’s not at all what I was expecting. It’s so bad I have to sleep in the spare bedroom.?” His response “Maybe it’s just you” I laughed and said thanks for your time.The long and short of my frustrating rant:I have a bed that I paid a lot for that I can’t sleep on and is not even close to what was on the showroom floor.
