Ive finally found a repair shop that I can trust. They treat me like a person and they dont try to pull the wool over my eyes because Im a woman. Their Uber rides mean I dont have to sit around waiting at the shop like you have to do with so many other places. They are friendly, professional and honest. Most recently, our car broke down on the highway, and not only did they take our car and diagnose the issue that day, they sent someone to rescue me, my husband, and our two dogs and drop us off at our house! Fantastic car and customer service all around with fair and decent prices. Will continue to see them for any car issues we have!

I haven’t had a car in a couple of years but when I finally got one, Padron Automotive was recommended. Chris, the Service Manager was very professional and accommodating.But what’s even more important is that they are very interested in bringing the care back to Historic Old Town.I’m sure they could have moved to a different location to have more clients — but choosing to stay in Old Town and updating their facility helps with community pride. So please consider Padron’s if you value quality and community.

I liked their oil change special—very cheap! They did try to sell other services, some marginally needed, but I declined. Prices for those were reasonable though! Uber rides were a BIG PLUS—no waiting!

Nick the owner of this company was fantastic 🙂. He went way and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. He made sure I got home also back there to pick up my vehicle. Its kinda funny because I had to call him back the truck was acting funny. He called for a tow truck mind you it was free. Come to found out the truck ran out of gas ⛽. He always made sure if I needed anything just to let him know. The shop was very clean. The workers seem very loyal. I would recommend pardon automotive shop to anyone. They are the best in town. I had car issues and couldnt be without a car too long as I work out of town. They accommodated me on the time frame i could be without my car and repaired all my issues quickly. Even after they repaired my car the followed up to see how my car was running and if everything was good weeks and months after. I will definitely take all my vehicles to Padron if I have issues. I came in late in the day to get headlights replaced on my car, an ‘11 Chevy Malibu, which requires the whole front bumper to come off. They took my car in a few hours short of closing. Then come to find out the lights needed re-wired because the harness had melted. They didn’t have the pieces in stock, but called to get a driver to bring them to the store! They stayed late to finish the job to have my car finished for me. They were so kind and courteous. They gave me a discount to help with what I could afford to pay for service. They even provided a phone charger to me while I was waiting since I had left mine in my car. About a week after the repair, they messaged asking if everything is still going well. It is! They really went above and beyond.I would highly recommend their services!

This was my first time using Padron and I will 100% be back. As a single woman I am always very hesitant to take my car somewhere new because Im always afraid of being taken advantage of. Multiple reviews of this business made me feel confident of taking my car there alone. Nick and his staff made the entire process of getting a windshield wiper arm replaced and doing an oil change very easy.I dropped my car off and they gave me a ride to work. Throughout the day I received calls and texts to update me on the progress. During a general inspection of my vehicle a critical safety issue with a wheel was uncovered. I was provided video and photos of all the issues they addressed and received an estimate of what all the repairs would cost. I had some issues coming up with money for the additional unexpected repair and Nick offered a financing program to me. I was able to ultimately pay online through a link for all the repairs and pick my car up the next day. I have an older vehicle that Ive been considering replacing because I was afraid of an ongoing hassle of repairing things. I now feel like I may be able to keep this car a while longer since I have a reliable and fair mechanic to work with.

Padron is top notch service for car repair needs in Topeka. Ive used them twice now. The first time was to diagnose what was wrong with my old van and unfortunately it was beyond repair. The second time was for brake service on my new to me van. Nick was very gracious and explained what needed to be done and the time table I was looking at if I chose go wait on the repairs. Not once did be make me feel pressured into any decision. He also never made me feel like I was being degraded because I was a woman like many mechanics do to make an extra buck. I will definitely use Padron and Nicks team for future auto repairs that I or my fiancé cant do ourselves.

Charge $700 changed one outter tie rod and tighted one bolt on steering column. Would not recommend using them.

We are not residents of Topeka, but our car broke down in Topeka, forcing us to go into emergency mode to find a reliable repair shop. We ended up at Padron, and we’re very thankful we did. They did a great job for a very reasonable cost. Nick is a polite, respectful, professional, and friendly guy, and he kept us informed all the way through the process. And when we needed the car back to solve another problem, Nick went to great lengths to make sure we got our car back that day. All with a smile and a friendly attitude. Our car is running flawlessly again and we are extremely happy with the service we received. Nick also followed up with us a couple of days later to make sure we were satisfied with the repairs. Nick was a real life saver and I cant thank him enough. I was travelling across country alone from Colorado to Ohio and my car broke down in Topeka (clutch went out). Luckily I was directed to Padron Automotive and was able to make it to the shop. I cant thank Nick and his staff enough for the kindness and honesty they showed me. Not only did Nick give me priority during a very busy time but found a hotel in a safe area, drove me there and arranged for an uber back to the shop the next day (repairs were done much earlier than I expected). I was able to drive the rest of my journey to Ohio with confidence. Nick gave me his card and said to call if I ran into any trouble along the way and he would assist. He then called me a couple days later to make sure I arrived safely and again upon my return to Colorado. I highly recommend Padron Automotive to anyone needing any type of car repair, you wont regret it.

Nick and his team are quite amazing.And they ended up saving me money. I spoke with Nick about doing my brakes, Nick me asked me if I was intrested in dropping on my vehicle or if Ill be staying while they did the repair I said well I really need my car tonight cause Im a delivery driver so if you need my car all night, Id rather not, and it was amazing because he says what would you wanna bring your car now and Im will do a free assessment diagnostic and and tell you exactly what we need to do. They offered a complimentary ride home for me since I was leaving my vehicle there. It was seamless after that and they took very good care mean I gave Nick my keys and they gave me a ride back to my house, also did some window repair for me because I noticed that my drivers side window and was not rolling up or anything, and so I asked them if they could take a look at it and he said sure not a problem because I bought a motor for it, I was going to attempt putting in myself Nick did a check for me, it wasnt my motor and they were able to fix my window and I was able to take that motor back and got my money back. They were able to do an oil change, my breaks were metal 2 metal. They were very courteous very kind very knowledgeable as to what they do and with all the other auto repair places in town I feel quite blessed in quite grateful that I was able to work with Nick and his team and I can pretty much bet you that for any type of repairs then he done on my car from here on out I will be choosing Nick 🌟 5 stars. It is the little things that matter and I noticed on the paperwork that my name was spelled wrong and Nick made it a point to while I was standing there he made it a point to go in there and correct it and it took a matter of seconds, shows they care.. these are the type of things that are very important, their customer service is on point I have nothing but great things to say about Padron Automotive. On top of the fact that my baby purrs and I know hasnt run anywhere near as good as it does now thanks to Nick and the team.

I would definitely recommend Padron automotive 100% my experience with them was very good. They were very flexible and would give me rides back and forth to work while my truck was at the shop for that day. With the amount of work my truck needed was outrageous and the got it done very quick and the quality of work was excellent. With them being a smaller Mechanic shop they are top notch and very excellent workers.

Give them 1 star just because there is not a no star option!!! Made me spend 2400 in my car, drove it for a week, had same problem and now they say something else is wrong.If you want to spend time and money, this is the place!!!

I was totally taken advantage of. I paid over $1000 and after changing the original quote the work did not fix the problem. I then took my vehicle to a dealership and paid $200 to fix the actual problem. I was also told the maintenance Padrons claimed to have performed was not. I went here after hearing this was a Christian business owner thinking that would keep me from being taken advantage but learned the hard way to use major dealerships when you want a job done correctly.

I have visited them twice for service and each time their customer service has been exceptional. Love that they provided transportation to my job while my car was being serviced. Will definitely be back!

Highly recommend Padron Automotive! They saved us hundreds of dollars when we brought our van in for a second opinion and kept us from paying for unnecessary repairs. If youre looking for an HONEST mechanic....Padron Automotive on 6th Street in Topeka is your place to go!! I was recommended to them by a coworker after dealing with my vehicle violently shaking when applying the brakes or letting off the gas. Not only were my rotors warped and brake pads shot but the right side tie rod was also shot and could have easily caused a major accident going down the highway (thank you Guardian Angel for keeping me safe all these months of dealing with the shaking issues). He even took a video of it to show me when they had it up in the air. He (Nick - owner) never tried to upsale me anything and just wanted to make my vehicle safe to drive again. They also did a much needed oil change for me while there. They even followed up a week later to make sure everything was running like it was supposed to. Ive never had a mechanic follow up with me before!Anyway.....just wanted to give credit where credit was due and giving a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ review of Pardon Automotive.

This shop was recommended by my uncle for an alignment. The owner is very professional and courteous. I brought my lowered vehicle in for a custom alignment after adding coil over shocks. Very knowledgeable shop and knew exactly what to do. Highly recommended for all factory and custom suspension work.

I cannot recommend this business highly enough! My daughters car broke down as she was traveling home to Colorado and Nick came in on a holiday to deal with it so that I could get her back home on time for her job. He kept us up to date on what was going on with repairs, and when I went back to pick up the vehicle, he offered to drive for an hour back into town from where he was spending his day off, on a Sunday to accomodate my travel schedule. The work ethic and level of service are just outstanding. If he had his shop in my town, I would never take my car anywhere else.

Padron Automotive has gained a family of loyal customers for life! My first visit to Nicks shop was about 8 months ago and I havent gone anywhere else for anything since then. As a woman it is unfortunately so hard to come by a repair shop that doesnt try to take advantage of you and overcharge or convince you that you need things that arent necessary. Nick is honest, reliable and very friendly. He always greets us by name and treats us as if we are friends or family- he really shows that he cares about us and our vehicles and doesnt just treat us as a paycheck which is very refreshing! I recommend him to anyone needing service on their vehicle.

Brought my car to them. They saved me $50 on the part that need fixing. That was great. My car started acting up again so my hubby took it back to get it looked at. When he went back the guy told him your wife gave us a bad review. Which I gave them an 8 and said I would recommend them to a friend. Only due to the fact it took them an extra day. So we left the car there. Close to closing time we stopped into see the verdict. Only to find out they wanted to keep it overnight. Again no phone call to warn us they needed extra time. The reason they got an 8...next day took the car back. Twenty minutes later he called and said its a transmission code error. Tune up may work but he need to run a diagnostic on it. $100.Again a week later. Thanks but no thanks say bye to your 5 stars. BBB is my next call.

Always doing a good job at fixing my truck

Weve been using Mr. Padron since he opened. He is always very professional and friendly.He charges about the same as other shops in the area, perhaps 5-10% more on some jobs, but he is *HONEST* and to me thats worth it. If he figures out that your car does not need an expensive repair he will tell you so, even if you have already committed to paying for it. Many shops would just go ahead and do the more expensive repair because you would never know the difference anyway but thats not how Mr. Padron operates.You never have to worry that he will try to sell you on unnecessary repairs when hes got your car.He does offer a discount on his labor rate if you are a state employee, so make sure to take your badge in with you when you drop your car off.

Ive taken my car in a handful of times now and I love the great customer service. The owner, Nick, is friendly and explains to me whats going wrong with my car and what they need to fix, which is great for me since I dont know much about cars. A couple months ago I had to buy a car on my own for the first time and took 2 cars I was thinking of buying into Padron to inspect and he took off half the price he usually charges since it didnt take them that long. He also gave me advice on how to negotiate and showed me the NADA website on what should be the asking price.I recently drove through some flooded streets and an engine belt got wet and made a horrible noise when I drove the next day. I was planning to drive out of town for the weekend so I took it in and once he knew there was an available part in town they got it replaced within an hour.The waiting area is very clean, modern and they offer drinks, seating, a clean bathroom, and suckers for kids (and adults, Im sure). Highly recommend you check them out!

New shop is very impressive.

I went in asking for a tire alignment. After my tires were aligned, the problem persisted. Nick Padron worked with me over the next week, going well out of his way to talk to me repeatedly on the phone, go on a ride-along with me, and take my vehicle to another shop for a second opinion. He maintained the utmost respect and offered to show me, in person, what hed done with my car and always ensured I was in the loop and on-board with the steps we were taking. We figured out what was wrong and got it fixed and he only ended up charging me for the original alignment, although I had taken up much more of his time. I would give Nick and his business 10 stars if I could. I will be taking my business there in the future. Its obvious that he takes great pride in his business, excelling customer service and quality repairs.
