I love this Walmart location, its conveniently located pretty nearby and is never too crowded and they always have what I need in stock. I can even buy a straight talk phone card at this Walmart location surprisingly (its more of a market Walmart but they do sell prepaid phone service plan cards and gift cards also) 5 stars hands down! :)

This store is small. They dont carry a lot of the food other Walmart stores have. The selection is slim and a lot of things were not in stock. It would be a great place to just run in for an item.

First time in one of these smaller stores. What a different experience from the larger one on the southwest side of the city! Friendly employees, close-in parking, well stocked and clean. No endless lines with not enough checkout registers. While it doesnt have every single item the larger store has, it has enough! This is my go-to Walmart now.

Someone isnt good at ordering things... they are ALWAYS our of certain items and at some point youd think the person who orders stuff would realize they might need more of those items...but no... theyd rather explain to their customers every week that the shelf is empty again and they have none to put out

Need to check dates on salad mixes but a chicken pecan mix and found out once I looked at it it was past date usable.

Very handy, a small Walmart I can get in and out quickly thatll have most stuff that I might need. Deli has the usual chicken and sometimes ribs. Good pharmacy and nice staff.

They are always very nice and helpful in this store. Extra thanks to Jennifer who has a beautiful spirit and always shows kindness.

Found exactly what I needed, after visiting 2 other Walmart locations. Plus, a very helpful associate from the pharmacy helped me find what I needed. I wish I knew her name to give her attention for her kindness.

This store is my most favorite shopping experience in town. The store is well-organized, clean, not cluttered & the staff from top to bottom are extremely kind, helpful & good at what they do! I can get in & out quickly with no major issues.

This is a pretty nice medium to small grocery store. Lots of different fresh items to choose from, like mahi mahi and different meats.

I havent been here for a while but stopped in and its really nice thats its not so big and yet offers unique items.

Its a smaller store so its easier to get in and out with the items you need.

I love shopping here because of the neighborhood concept.It is just the right size with everything I need.And there arent a million people bumping around on the store.Size, convenience and availability.Winning concept and a hidden jewel.

Always has a very disturbing smell when you walk into place. I never go here unless I absolutely have to bc of the horrible smell!! I dont understand how anyone can shop for food smelling sewage the whole time! Its so disgusting 🤢 Im not sure how a grocery store is even allowed to be open with a constant sewage smell in the whole store. Yall really need to be fixing this fast!

I love this location! It makes for a very quick and efficient grocery shopping experience.

People were wearing masks. They are well stocked with special foods for diabetics, vegan. It seems I can not find in bigger markets but am always able to find in Walmart. Market. Very appreciative. And the employees take the time to help you find it.

Not many customers in at 8:30 PM on Sunday. But two customers werent wearing masks, so I wont be back any time soon, and I recommend you think carefully before going.

The 6th and McVicar and the 37th Street locations have changed their brand of ramen cup of noodles and theyre not good at all.

I was in and out relatively fast. They had a couple of human checkers and of course the quick scans. Items were easy to find in the store!

So far I get what I ask for when I pick up groceries and its In good shape.

The cost seems higher than regular Walmart which seems wrong considering that they dont have as many products. I never see many sales

Well stocked except for what i went in for: vanilla flavored oat milk. Just bought plain and a bottle of vanilla. Job done. This is essentially a grocery store. If youre looking for hardware, toys, electonics, etc. Go to any of the other Wal-Mart stores.

This location is very clean inside and out. I havent ever met any grumpy employees here. They almost always have what Im looking for and mostly the shelves are stocked but today my drink mix packets (all 30 different varieties) were nearly wiped out. So lose a star for that.

Only thing I hate is the self check outs. I just stopped in because it was on my way home. Needed 1 item. I dont work for walmart I should not have to check myself out unless they gonna cut costs by 50%.

The neighborhood market has by far the friendliest Walmart employees in Topeka. The store is always clean and well stocked. Its a great alternative if you are in a hurry and just need to pick up a few things on your way home from work. Easy, quick in and out.

I like the smallmart and shop there when my needs are only food and pharmacy. Easy in and out with less walking.

Store is small for being a Walmart grocery store. Only one cash register open and 3 self checkouts open. Not enough registers available for 6pm rush. Selection is small for items.

They had my dried Portobello mushroom snacks!!!! And an employee went above and beyond to find them....thanks❤

But they need more disabled power karts all they have are 2 and thats not enough when the store is full theres usually 3 or 4 people waiting for a kart. I cant wait for a kart when I need to be somewhere on time, so I usually go to Dillons or Apple Market 😟

Smaller store, with slightly limited stock. Staff at the front are generally pleasant and helpful. Deli always seems to be short stocked on hot entrees. Easy to walk through without being overwhelming on its size.

To use their wheelchair motor you have to weigh so much to ride it and then it gets stuck because the steering wheels are so loose Ive told them Im not going back now

This store is always clean as well as the restrooms. Love the staff too, always willing to help if you need assistance. The produce is fresh every time, especially my kale, lol... This store has Sweet Earth frozen vegan pizza as well as Just plant based mayo, so that is a plus in my opinion.❤

I dont usually care for Walmart, but this one is close by and I always have a pleasant experience. You really dont get the typical people of Walmart here. The produce is great, the store is well-organized, and you can still buy some things in bulk. Of course, the only negatives are that it is not 24-hour, and it does not have all the departments the regular Walmart stores have. But for the convenience of a smaller store with better service and people, its worth it.

Always treated well. Employees are top notch. Other stores could take lessons from these folks.

This is a nice place to shop for groceries, similar selection as a regular Walmart but more convenient. Although I dont like all the self service checkout white cashiers sit and talk. Self checkout is ok but people should be doing it or at least bagging the groceries.

The staff at this store is phenomenal. My kids have even developed friendships with several employees. One employee in particular stands out. Horace, who works in the deli, is one of the kindest, sweetest, and most caring individuals I have met. He always has a smile on his face and seems to take genuine pleasure in assisting his customers. He deserves recognition for always going above and beyond. If it were up to me, he would get one heck of a raise.
